at this point i am convinced mofti are going to think themselves geniuses when in 10 years they release a singular sequel episode in which it is implied that 50 year old johnlo have been together for years during the hiatus, but only through subtext and never explicitly, so the 100 people still invested in the show will remake the 2010-2017 debate all over again on a smaller scale, while the rest of the world watches actual gay content

So don't laugh but back when TLJ was out, someone suggested John said he didn't want Finnrey because he didn't want love scenes with white women. If these new leaks are true ... eesh. Could that be true of John? I don't think so, but he seems really nonchalant about stuff and Kylo is his favorite character so I wouldn't be shocked if he was cool with this.

john is not invested in ships in star wars he’s like i want finn to be treated well and i want a check. i wouldn’t put too much on these leaks bc we don't have proof that person saw the movie but either way. how john feels abt it got nothing to do with me or my perception of him. he ships johnlo and that’s the extent of this i’ll even address.

Literally plenty of lgbt people (there’s some narrative out there I’ve seen that apparently only old straights ever criticized this show and like…only young lgbt people ever shipped johnl/ock? That’s hilarious) have been calling out Sh/erlock for queer baiting since…at least the day I created my blog, when I was 19 (i turn 24 this year) and actually into the show, and I’m certain it was happening before then. Like this is not news, the show always teased about wats0n/sh3rlock and how “ohoho of course that’s what everyone in universe would assume in the 21st century, let’s make a RUNNING GAG out of it, but you know, NO HOMO NO HOMO.” They have been clear about that from day one, but omg people are losing there shit when OF COURSE it doesn’t happen and have convinced themselves there’s some vast conspiracy by the writers to trick people into thinking everything’s been a bait and switch and johnlo/ck WILL happen in the end in spite of the fact that the creators have point blank said over and over again that it won’t.
