Resenha de "O Atlas Esmeralda", primeiro livro da trilogia "Livros do Princípio" de John Stephens

Queria achar uma alma viva que tenha lido esse livro além de mim.

O Atlas Esmeralda conta a história de três irmãos órfãos que são transferidos para um orfanato em um lugarzinho meio suspeito. Coisas interessantes e mágicas começam a acontecer depois que eles acham um livro que é capaz de transportá-los para um lugar totalmente desconexo de sua realidade, onde uma guerra civil está acontecendo e eles indiretamente estão ligados a todo esse rolê.

Li esse livro quando tinha 11 anos, e eu simplesmente amei tudo sobre ele, desde o suspense, aos personagens e eu gostei até mesmo do fato da história ser meio lentinha e densa porque na minha cabeça eu tava lendo um livro super complexo kkk soquenao

Reli alguns capítulos e relembrei toda a história, foi como uma viagem no tempo em que eu achava que calças rosa neon eram bonitas e calçava tênis de rodinha

Na verdade, recentemente comecei a revisitar alguns livros já lidos, como O Cortiço que eu li a uns dois anos (inclusive quero fazer resenha dele aqui por que acho que nunca fiz)

E enquanto revisito, vou me lembrando de tudo da época. Por que além de serem uma rocha pra mim, os livros também são uma memória pausada da época em que eu o li

Na minha cabeça é como se, ao mesmo tempo que eu estou lendo, eu volto pra época em que eu li aquele livro pela primeira vez

Não sei se isso acontece com todo mundo, mas essa sensação de voltar a momentos passados da minha própria vida enquanto leio é um dos motivos pelos quais eu não gosto de reler livros. Até por que nem sempre a gente quer lembrar um momento chatinho talvez meio traumático de sua vida, mesmo que tenha amado o livro

Mas nesse caso aqui, acho que revisitar o Atlas Esmeralda, e o seu segundo livro "Crônicas de fogo" (nunca comprei o terceiro), foi uma boa reminiscência da criança que um dia eu já fui

O bom de relembrar as coisas é que você sempre vê tudo de uma perspectiva diferente, não importa a idade
