Comfort Movies
I was tagged by @joi-in-the-tardis to list 7 Comfort Movies and tag 7 people. Thank you! It's been way to long since I did something like this.
Star Trek Into Darkness
Dear Evan Hansen (what can I say - I like to suffer by bawling my eyes out 2 minutes into the movie...)
A Dolphin's Tale (still with the crying, though it's actually with a uplifting message)
Mamma Mia + Here we go again
The Phantom of the Opera (I don't care what people say, I loved Gerard Butler in this and I'm a HUGE fan of that musical and the movie)
Dragonheart
@jemsauceonice @bloodybroadchurch @hazelcmist and whoever wants to do this

when people start complaining about episodes of doctor who I know they’ve lost sight of what makes doctor who good. what makes doctor who good, you ask? the fact that it is, in fact, kinda bad. its camp!!!! its filled with kinda whack cgi and fake looking aliens and the occasional script that is so deeply emotional you get whiplash. that’s what makes doctor who good!!! its silly!!!!!!

@manaborn whined, “If you could concentrate.”
"Right, as if I haven't heard that one before." The words came out cheeky, underlining her obviously Doctor-like movements as she flipped levers and pressed buttons on the console, as The Doctor always did. She was playing with fire here, only having recently been seen in the TARDIS's good graces, but she hasn't been ejected from the spacecraft so far, perhaps Gwen was her good luck charm. "If it were so easy to get me to concentrate, me dad and I wouldn't've had most of the fights we did. Still do, actually. It's a quirk of mine and most find it delightful. Now come on, do you want to have a space heist or not?"

I was tagged by @joi-in-the-tardis Thank you! It’s been a while
RELATIONSHIP STATUS: still single... I think I made my peace with always being single...
FAVORITE COLORS: (dark) red, blue
FAVORITE FOOD: burgers, spare ribs
SONG STUCK IN MY HEAD: “Waving through a Window” from Dear Evan Hansen
LAST THING YOU GOOGLED: pictures of Matthew Daddario and Harry Shum Jr. for a friend’s Christmas present
TIME: 11:45am
DREAM TRIP: We are planning a trip to Norway late next year to see the Northern Lights and I plan to go on a whale safari then to see Orca whales!!! Fingers crossed it works out!
Otherwise I still want to go to Scottland, Ireland, South Africa and the West Coast of the US.
LAST THING YOU READ: Star Trek Chronicles for Star Trek Enterprise
LAST BOOK YOU ENJOYED READING: I actually quite enjoy the Star Trek Chronicles book. It’s a joyful read and really entertaining and interesting
LAST BOOK YOU HATED READING: As I am no longer in school, I only read stuff I want to read. So the last one must have been Goethe’s “Faust 2″ in school.
FAVORITE THING TO COOK/BAKE: I love to cook and bake pretty much anything. I need to do a brownie at some point, because that is definitely my favourite cake to eat...
FAVORITE CRAFT TO DO IN YOUR FREE TIME: I’m nearly finished with a Doctor Who themed diamond painting and enjoyed that very much. Would love to do more of those, but I have no idea where to put them after I finished.
MOST NICHE DISLIKE: I’m not sure what this means… thankfully Joi googled it for me and wrote it says “a specific and small dislike.” Hmm… I hate when people take me for a fool. I’m not an idiot. I recognize when people tell me bullshit. I might not always point it out, because most often it’s just not worth it to me, but don’t try to color me stupid when I do point you out on your bullshit.
OPINION ON CIRCUSES: It’s been ages since I’ve been in one. I like that we have a no animals policy over here. That way circuses here are mostly artistic stuff, which is awesome. Not much of a clown’s person, as I just don’t find them neither funny nor scary.
DO YOU HAVE A SENSE OF DIRECTION: Once I’ve been to a place, I have a pretty good idea of where I need to go whenever I go back there. Even after it’s been a while. Just don’t ask me for street names. I don’t care for those. I use landmarks more than street names even while driving.

who is your second favourite companion?
Hello kind Anon!
Oooooh, now you're asking.
Let's consider the candidates:
My first love, Jamie McCrimmon
2. Leela, the first female companion I really liked because she didn't do all that 'falling over and twisting her ankle while screaming' crap they made others do in the 70s
3. Martha Jones, so many good qualities, and I rooted for her to thump the Doctor on several occassions
4. Nardole, because he's funny, and I adore Matt Lucas
4. Bill Potts. She was a breath of fresh air (and an inspiration to those seeking higher education without formal qualifications).
..
Kind Anon, you are really putting me on the spot here. Do you know that?!
Purely because I instantly burst into tears when I saw this
I'm going to choose my first love: Jamie McCrimmon ❤️
