I’m seriously confused how steddie ended up becoming the popular ship out of s4 of Stranger Things, for example you’ve got Jonathan and Argyle who share many more scenes and have a much deeper relationship and I’ve hardly seen anyone considering them a ship. And honestly, this only strengthens my theory that a lot of mlm shipping is down to straight women being attracted to two male characters, especially white ones, bc it’s a bit suspicious that Jonathan and Argyle isn’t a popular ship and one of them is an indigenous poc. And you don’t see as many people thirsting over Jonathan and Argyle as you see people thirsting over Eddie and Steve.

So people can scream about how they were “queerbaited” and “robbed of representation” but do you really want representation if you’re only interested in it if you find the characters attractive and you benefit from the representation bc you can get off to it?

I’m sure it exists somewhere but I want a Friends AU with the Spicy Six. Love triangles, forbidden love, hidden/closeted love plots. Idk who would be which character from the show (and it of course doesn’t have to follow the plot exactly), but it’s still a neat concept.

I just wanna see them have the same dynamics as those 6 living in New York together. Or maybe it’s just some big city, doesn’t have to be NYC. But their apartments across the hall from each other, everyone swapping their apartments, placing bets, moving each other’s furniture around (PIVOT!), all that jazz. Sounds like fun.

Argyle lit a blunt, he lay down and hung his head over the end of the bed, letting his hair collect on the floor, as he mellowed out alongside Jonathan, who was lying next to Argyle on his stomach propping himself up with his elbows, taking the occasional puff of the cigarette, a chilled out smile on his face

 Argyle felt his face burn hot when he looked at Jonathans small, drug induced smile, for some reason, he couldn't tear his eyes away from Jonathans lips, something about them seemed so enticing...Argyles hair hid his burning cheeks as he sat up, but he couldn't stop himself from staring, no matter how he tried, his eyes were always drawn back to Jonathans face, his cheeks were red as he gently cupped Jons face in his hand, Jonathan also beginning to blush as he felt Argyles hand on his cheek, looked up into his eyes

“...Argyle...? Whats wrong-?” Jonathan asked, smoke escaping his lips, but Argyle was fixated on his face, there  was just...something so...tempting about Jonathans lips, they looked so soft, like a kiss from them would feel like an angels, after a few seconds of staring blankly in fascination, Argyle pulled Jonathans face close, the kiss was everything he hoped...It was like magic... After a few short moments, Argyle gently let go of Jonathans face, which was now red as he tried to figure out what exactly just happened through his flustered panic, did...did Argyle...really just...kiss him-? And...Did it feel...Good...?

Mister here definitely stole this shirt from Argyle. It's so big in the shoulders that it hangs off. And he didn't even wear oversized clothes in Hawkins when they were much broker. If anything,if this was a shirt of his,it should be small on him now cuz he grew. That shirt is Argyle's I'm telling you, he gave it to Jonathan one night when he got cold out there in the junkyard and let him keep it because he knows Jonathan is calmed by his presence and this will replace him when he can't be there
