Things We Know So Far From Episodes 1 & 2

Monos and Probes are a small population within society and are more or less accepted. However, information about them may not be widely known, e.g. the nurse not knowing much about the Colour Rush

Monos can only see colour when viewing their Probes face. Viewing their Probes face for short amounts of time equals small amount of time seeing colour before 'decolouring' happens.

Some Monos become obsessed with their Probes and their ability to make them see colours, to a dangerous extent

Yeonwoo got Monochromatism from his mother

Yeonwoo's father was his mother's Probe

Mono's often don't get to meet their Probes

Yeonwoo's mother has been missing for 3 years. His aunt is trying to find her.

Okay so first of all, I'm sad that their kiss was only a face press. :( they were so good together and their chemistry was so nice but the kiss was awkward. Props to them for doing it though (at first I thought we'd only get the back of the head angle and I'm delighted we really got to see their lips touch)

Then... oh my god... When Yuhan climbed through that window I squealed! Superhero rescuing the damsel in distress!

And then when they were at the hotel and he was like "I didn't expect to sleep on the floor. I want to share the bed with you" and he really went for the there was only one bed trope lmao

And then he confessed and said he fell in love with Yeonwoo! Like not the standard confession of "I like you" but really "I fell in love with you"!! I'm... 😭

And then they were at the beach at all the cheesy lines they dropped and Yeonwoo getting sad that Yuhan said it first and... aaaaaaaahhhh!!!

And then their friends helping them sneak on a date :( and Yeonwoo's aunt being okay with them dating (as long as Yeonwoo still shares his food with her lmao)

And of course Minjae and Joohaeng looking at each other all fondly when Yuhan takes Yeonwoo to their rooftop date :(

What does disappoint me is that we don't get closure about the mum. Like that was such a major plot point but in the end they left us hanging :(

The face press and then the camera moves them out of frame 💔💔💔💔 it's always that and it always looks stupid Lmaoo. But at least they got two face presses in that scene <3 but istg the kisses are always like the least realistic thing in shows 😔 yes same I thought it was just gonna be a back of the head thing but nope. Also I didn't doubt we'd get a kisses coz they couldn't not with the outrageous flirting from ep 1 hahah. But also it's hyunjun he kisses boys<3

OMG THEIR FRIENDS ARE THE BESTTTTT. Like from the very start with the twirl and the fan I was like oh ho ho these gays know what's up and ship yuhan and yeonwoo<3 also yes they looked at eachother so softly 🥺

Yeonwoo's aunt is the best ugh I love her. She's a queen. Yeah I forgot about that we got no closure :(( like the show was described as "boy looking for his mother + it's also gay" but it rly is 8 eps of Gay and then the aunt is away always looking for his mum but nothing happens. I'm also sad we didn't see any of their rooftop date 💔 but yeah there could've been like one convo one text whatever. Like if they're up on the rooftop and yeonwoo gets a text from his aunt that's like "I found her" and yeonwoo is like :O and just looks at yuhan with Joy and you can imagine them reuniting and her meeting yuhan and it's all 🥰

joohaeng and minjae give off vibes of those established side couples that enjoy watching shit go down for the main couples and find everything hilarious

I want to talk about the scene with Minjae, Joohaeng, and Yeonwoo for a second.

Yeonwoo is so clearly out of it. He’s spiraling, thinking dark thoughts brought on by his aunt and the fact that Minjae and Joohaeng point out that really soon he might not be able to contact or see Yoohan again. Yeonwoo proceeds then to voice his thoughts out loud and while Minjae can tell he’s not joking (he also almost looks like he expected that--I totally believe the “grandpa” joke isn’t a joke. He’s just really haunted by his grandpa who can see the future so perhaps his grandpa told him).

Joohaeng on the other hand treats it like a joke. At least, he treats it like he wants to BELIEVE its a joke, because the idea otherwise is too scary to consider (as much as what he says is true. Yoohan WOULD help in his own kidnapping lbr). Joohaeng reminds me of that person who is totally open-minded about things the media trashes and so he befriends someone like that, only for the things the media says to start coming true, but he doesn’t want to believe it.

Now whether or not Yeonwoo is actually planning Yoohan’s kidnapping... well @noona96n actually made a really interesting theory post that I think is actually VERY likely. It makes sense, esp given we hear NOTHING about Yeonwoo planning the kidnapping after the initial “what if i kidnapp go yoohan” and then his panic attack--so maybe that’s not what he’s planning.
