Heinrich ZIMMER “Le Grand Complot” (Editions Gerfaut, 1971)
cover: Jordi Longaron
Heinrich Zimmer was a pen-name of french author P. Frank Fournel who used also the signature Franz Rheinhards for his war-fiction novels. PF Fournel wrote also some spy-fiction novels, published at Editions de la Corne d’Or (Monaco) & Editions du Grand Damier (Paris). In his novels signed Heinrich Zimmer, he sets in scene a soldier of the Wehrmacht named Hans Zimmer and pushes the reader to believe that it is about himself.
In "The Great Conspiracy" he revisits the failed attempt to liquidate Adolf Hitler followed by the ruthless elimination which deprived the Reich of many of its most capable military leaders.
