Sweets & Aromas Islands:

400 miles southeast off the coast of Sugar Rush, the Sweets & Aromas Islands consists of 16 islands, each named after a racer or dessert or candy. Its inhabitants are us creators, believe it or not.

History:

These islands are originally colonised by King Candy, named the Speed & Rusher Islands by the man himself. However, since that, he basically forgot about the existence of these islands, until President Vanellope saw these islands once again. She gave them freedom to choose whether or not to remain an overseas territory or be independent. However, since the islands are so far away from the mainland, the creators unanimously agreed to remain an overseas territory. They renamed the islands and got a flag of their own (which I will draw in the future), and since then, they live in peace.

*Jubileena held this week's issue of the Quarter Sheet. The headline reads:*

Jubileena: *speaks aloud* Huh, I forgot we even had these oversea territories...

*Jubileena isn't alone though, as Lucas sits by her on her couch, crocheting a duck plushie*

Lucas: *he perks up* Sugar Rush has oversea territories?

Jubileena: Yeah, we did! Of course, we didn't exactly hear of it until after King Candy announced his discovery of them, but- *she then notices Lucas giving her a look* -Oh, right. I keep forgetting you.. weren't around for King Candy's reign....

Lucas: *he continues his crochet* It's ok, mi fruta. Although I would have liked it if the developers put so much work into my scraped town like they did these distant islands...

Citrusella: *she walks down from the hall, blowing bubbles as she chews her gum. She speaks between chews* Well- whatever the case- it's cool to hear they have been holdin' up well. *She plops herself on an armchair, popping a loud bubble. Lucas and Jubileena flinched in response* Now, are we gonna keep talking about politics, or are we gonna watch a movie?

Jubileena: Right, right! *She placed her paper on the end table, and she picks up the remote.*

*The three spend the rest of the time debating viewing options*

Well everyone, here we are at the end of another Pin Post Month! My goodness has it been fun to reminisce and talk about these pins. So many of which had interesting backgrounds and origins that I personally got to learn a little more about when writing their post.

Sadly though things must come to an end, and with the end of November we also see the event begin to wrap up with this final post as well. This Pin Post Month has probably been one of the most difficult ones for me so far, simply because of my new work and living situation. Though I'm glad to see that these posts were still enjoyed by pin and Wreck-it Ralph fans despite the change in things. Throughout the month there were many moments of excitement and wonder while doing research for some of these pins. Such as the Harmony in Color pin from last night which lead me to watching videos of the parade and learning about its history.

Of course there will be more pins like that as there are plenty more to share! This year has been a good one for WIR pin collectors, and I've already started pulling together the skeleton for what will be next years tenth annual Pin Post Month! It's both exciting and strange just thinking about how I'll soon have managed to host this event for a full ten years. Of course though this wouldn't have been possible without the WIR community that was so welcoming to me all those years ago, as well as those who have followed this event all this time. Each night your comments and tags brought such a smile to my face, they were literally one of the highlights of my days! Making me consider aspects about each pin I hadn't considered, while also pointing out details I either misses or hadn't had the room in the post to point out myself. It brings me so much delight in seeing other people share their love for the movie and these pins after each post, and I appreciate each and every interaction.

I suppose it is time to wrap things up as the month too comes to a close. Though before I do, I ask if anyone has some thoughts on the past month's Pin Post Month as well as any ideas on how to make it better next year. Since it will be the tenth year of hosting this event, I kind of want to make it special so I would love to hear any thoughts on how to do so.

With that said, I hope that you all have a wonderful evening and smooth days ahead of you in the following month. I'll see you all next year!

Day #10: Gifts

As Christmas draws closer, the giant tree at the center of town is starting to see gifts collecting underneath the tree. Though he no longer has claim to his noble title, Lucas still opposes authority and society expectations that oppress him- including the standards that come with Christmas. Seeing that there was a gift underneath the tree for him, Lucas picked up the gift and focused his Hypersensitivity bug onto the box to get a sneak peek at what lies for him. Jubileena does not approve of his ill behavior, but what can she do to stop him? It’s not like she can force a blindfold onto him every time they pass that tree up until Christmas Eve.

There were certain texts that Phil didn't realize he was waiting for until he got them and this one from Leena was one of them. Throwing his shoes on and a jacket in record time, he was out the door and across town within fifteen minutes. How said he wasn't driven?? When there was something worth getting out of bed for, he got out of it. Up and at 'em. Slipping into Leena's place, he'd have to point out leaving things unlocked was unsafe, he made his way to her room, leaning against the doorway with a shit-eating smirk on his face. "Well, hey baby, someone order a dick delivery?"
