They probably copy what they see in those cheesy movies. So, hopefully they work with you

Movie nights are always a blast with them. (you can choose if this is sarcastic or not)

If you have a sweet tooth they'll give you pieces of their dads pastries. They know they wont eat them, so they'll be really grateful if you take them from them.

They love doing cheesy teen things with you (like pillow/food fights, gossiping, and popcorn)

If you're online they'll immediately text you some sort of picture, may it be of them themselves or some random pencil they found on the ground while getting the mail.

I Kissed A Girl

June Egbert x Reader

“So you’ve never been kissed like a girl before?” You asked. Sitting next to you on the sofa June flushed up to her ears. She had just started to grow her hair out now, the dark strands only brushing the tops of her shoulders. Now she was twisting the strands around her fingers nervously. 

“Is… Is there a difference?” She asked with wide blue eyes looking at you. 

No.

“Absolutely.”

You were a filthy liar. 

“Really?”

“Yes!” You assured her knowing you were lying through your teeth. You’d been friends with June since you were both children and you’d had a crush on her for almost as long. When she’d begun her transition you had made it your mission in life to be her number one supporter. It didn’t change your feelings for her. Actually you were pretty sure it only made them worse. Watching her experience things for the first time; makeup, cute clothes, stuffed animals, heels, and finding her name. It felt special. Sacred. Like she was sharing this with you because you were important to her. You’d fallen so ridiculously harder Karkat had actually laughed at you once. Now you were playing dirty. But you had Karkat to blame for it. He’d told you if you liked June so much you should just kiss her. So this whole thing was his fault. Now here you were ready to do whatever it took to get that kiss. Poor June had no idea. 

“What’s it like?” She asked and you seized the chance immediately.

“Want me to show you?” You asked, placing a hand on her thigh as you leaned forward. June turned an even darker shade of red as she stared at you completely speechless. Oh, you were going to hell. Paving the way with the trick you were pulling on your innocent friend. Unfortunately you couldn’t find it in yourself to care. She had lip gloss on, its wet surface catching the light and tempting you further. According to June it tasted like strawberries. You’d never had a craving for strawberries so bad until she told you that. When she bit her lip nervously- you loved those dorky bunny teeth, not even braces had been able to get rid of them- you nearly snapped. But you’d been testing the waters for this for months. You could be patient. You had to be. 

So you waited. 

“I- um. Oh wow.” She giggled nervously, laugh turning into a snort, “That’s a funny one!”

“I’m not joking.” You replied, her laughter cut off abruptly, “Do you want me to show you?”

“Oh.” She froze eyes darting between your steady gaze and your lips. You had to fight the urge to smile. 

“Well?”

“Do you… Do you want to?”

“Yes.”

You replied perhaps a tad too eagerly but it was true. You’d been wanting to kiss her since you were both knobby kneed tweens. Her eyes kept flickering over your face, unable to choose where to look. Her lips were slightly parted and you’d be lying if you said you weren’t clinging onto threads to keep from just kissing her without permission.

“Okay.” She spoke after what felt like an eternity, “How do we..?” 

Her voice trailed off as you slid a hand through her curls, gently cupping the back of her head. You leaned forward slowly, keeping your eyes open to make sure if she looked uncomfortable you wouldn’t miss it, but all you found was her steadily reddening face. Leaning into her space you could feel the breaths she took on your own lips. 

“Just like this.” You told her before finally pressing her lips together. Unable to look away, you watched her eyes flutter shut. Her lip gloss was sticky as it clung to your own lips. The feeling of it slick and sweet. Your tongue darted out to lick along the seam of her lips. 

She was right. It did taste like strawberries. 

Your tongue licked along her bottom lip, teeth tugging the flesh playfully. June’s lips parted just slightly, the suction of her gasping all the invitation you needed. Her moan caught you off guard. Tongue deep as you were, the vibration went straight to your arousal. As you pulled back she tried to follow and you couldn’t help but to smile. 

“Why’d you stop?” She asked when she realized you weren’t leaning back in. 

“Because if I don’t I’ll do a lot more.” You replied. Your heart was in your throat. The thought of being rejected buzzing loud. 

June was silent for a long moment simply staring. 

And then-

“Why’d you stop?”

-I haven’t played Friendsim or Hiveswap so I’m not familiar with those characters

-I haven’t read the epilogues so I don’t feel comfortable writing anything involving characters/events that only appear in them (so no Ult!Dirk or the new kids)

Other things I won’t write:

-Yandere or Heinoustuck (or anything involving non-con or SA)

-Anything involving active S/H or su*cide (I don’t want to potentially trigger anyone, plus I’m just not comfortable writing that kind of stuff)

Things I will write:

-headcannons/imagines/ all kinds of x reader stuff for the alpha + beta kids, as well as the trolls, dancestors, and ancestors

-romantic/red and platonic/pale relationships (potentially blackrom/auspictice as well depending on if I feel that I can write it for a specific character well enough

-poly/multiple characters in one request (just specify if it’s poly or separate for each character, with a limit of 3 characters per request)

-AUs (bloodswap, no sburb/sgrub, etc)

-trans characters (I have a soft spot for june egbert and trans strilondes, but I’m ok with writing John egbert and the strilondes as not trans too)

-Also, all characters I’m comfortable writing for are all canonically 18+ so I’m okay with writing 18+ content for them

I love overall gay ships. I have no problem with the ones including heterosexual content but I'm used to write homosexual girls so... Obviously, Vriska x Terezi and Rose x Kanaya are two of my favs. Dave x Karkat is also one of those ships I'm pretty in love with and... DIRK X JAKE PLEASE???? I MEAN.

I have no problem on doing AUs, content avoiding canon... (I'm not following right now HS^2 so most of the content will be out of actual canon unless I certainly look for info or you ask for something specific like new characters or ships happening in actual canon).

With that said... Keep them coming!

When you and John met, you seemed very polite and friendly to him, which allowed you to quickly become closer. The closer you got, the more he learned about you, and when you started dating, he could safely say that he knew you well and he was very happy about it

Both of you were often distracted by various little things and your conversations could go into the most unexpected directions. Sometimes, during your conversations, you said that you would like to escape from your daily life. You inspired him to dream of traveling and how you could travel around the country together

There were often times when you tried your best to avoid mistakes, but because of this, they only became more. You didn't want to make mistakes, and John saw it. He understood that you were only making it worse this way, so he tried to convince you that mistakes are just as much a part of everyday life and should not be avoided. His words increased your self - esteem and you began to become more confident

You loved to learn new things together, and when the opportunity arose, you walked together. Sometimes you could plan something, but in the process your plans were disrupted, but you didn't get upset, easily changing plans and routes

John was glad that he met someone who understood him. You had similar character traits and you understood each other perfectly. There was complete harmony between you and John was glad that you appeared in his life

John is considered to be a bit touch starved, so he’s cool with it, I consider John to be quite clingy himself so he’s down for whatever ! He always has a little blush on his face though.

June loves it !! She doesn’t consider herself touch starved but is extremely clingy as well so you two are always attached at the hip. Constantly holding and kissing for you two.

Rose is perfectly fine with it, but it takes some getting used to. She’s touch starved as well, but she isn’t exactly clingy. She always gets flustered when you’re like this.

Dave is losing his mind, you’re going to kill him. His brain always short circuits when you do this, he loves it but holy shit warn a guy first. He gets very flustered by you.

Jade loves it more than you know, she’s been lonely for such a long time, naturally she just loves an s/o that is extremely clingy. She feels sympathy towards you because she knows what it’s like :(

Jane loves it!! Though sometimes she needs her space, not to be mean or anything! It’s just sometimes it makes her really flustered and she needs a minute to calm her nerves.

Jake loves this too, he spent most of his life being alone, so he likes having you around to make him feel special and to make him feel loved and cared for. He hopes he can make you feel the same.

Roxy loves the hell outta your clinginess, they’re very clingy themselves and I consider them to be one of the clingiest homestuck characters, they’re extremely touch starved so you two are always touching.

Dirk is a bit awkward at first, mainly because he’s also touch starved and doesn’t always know how to reciprocate without feeling like he’s acting like a robot about it. Still, appreciates it.

Lets be honest, John most likely doesn’t understand some of his emotions, especially ones like love

John is someone who makes his attraction towards you really obvious, even if he doesn’t try to do so

He’s a goofball and shows his affection in the form of cheesy pick up lines and puns

One time, him, Dave, and you were hanging out at Dave’s apartment, playing GTA, and he stops, turns to you with a cheeky grin, and goes “you better call Lester quick because you are definitely five stars.”

Safe to say Dave is not allowing either of you to communicate with each other near his home.

Whenever he has the time, he pesters you first as soon as he gets onto Pesterchum, even if you’re not awake

It’s like getting a good morning text, but it’s not a good morning text and more so a “I hope you have a wonderful day that’s not filled with your father consistently making cake so much that it fills your house with a permanent scent of cake that you’ll never be able to get rid of because it’s been filled with cakes since the moment your father learned how to bake”

JUNE

June, like John, is into cheesy pick up lines and doesn’t understand her emotions too well

The only real difference is she’s, somehow, smoother at it than John is because she has a better grasp at how she experiences love compared to him

Whenever she’s around you, she can’t help but blush and give you a grin that’s filled with slightly crooked, white teeth

She’s all warm and fuzzy around you and just wants to see you smile

June will absolutely become focused on interests that you like in order to know more about you as a person

She probably won’t confess until she’s sure her feelings are there and won’t go away [she’d feel absolutely horrible if they went away as soon as the two of you got together]

ROSE

Rose is very nonchalant about it

Yes, she absolutely gets flustered around you, but it’s to a certain degree

She’s not very good with confrontation, so she just keeps to herself most of the time

Rose is most likely out of the beta kids to be completely blunt about her feelings, though, so it’s a weird mix up of “keep your feelings to yourself” and “say that you like this person so you don’t have it flooding your mind all the time”

If she decides to keep her emotions bottled up, eventually, she’s gonna end up writing her feelings out in a heartfelt letter

And then she completely scraps it and throws it into a fire

If Rose decided to be upfront about her feelings, she’s prepared for all kinds of scenarios [she’s really not]

She thinks it’s like the “one sided lovers” trope, but then again, she doesn’t know about any of your feelings towards her that aren’t considered “friendly”, so she may be wrong

DAVE

Dave has no clue what he’s doing

He tries, he really does, to tell anyone about his feelings, but it ends up with him going back to saying that it’s purely for ironic reasons

You know Pesterquest? In Dave’s volume where he gets all flustered when talking about his crush on John? Yeah, imagine that, but with you instead of John

If and when he ever tells his friends, he’ll just start rambling about you

How you make him feel, how he sees you, what he’d do if you were together

Jade is upfront with you

She knows how to deal with her feelings and doesn’t back down

She’s very affectionate toward you compared to the others, asking for your thoughts on things more than the others, and just generally tries to talk to you whenever she’s able to

Right now, you were chatting with one of your closest friends, Jade Harley, in the library. You two were supposed to be working on a project, but you had more important things to worry about.

Jade giggled at your question, “Y/N, isn’t it obvious? They both like you….a lot. They never stop gushing about you when you’re gone.”

Right now, the issue was between some of your friends. You had a small friend group containing four other people, Jade, Rose, Dave, and June. But recently, Dave and June have been less talkative around you. And the times you were around, they acted...out of character. “You...really think they like me?” Jade opened her mouth to speak, until she stopped abruptly. Her gaze was cast behind you, causing you to turn. Of course, who else would it be. Dave and June. Unfortunately for you, Jade wanted to set things into action quickly. “Hey! June! Dave! Over here!” Jade whisper shouted, which somehow caught their attention. They sat there for a moment, glancing at each other. You swear that they were going to make a run for the door. Until Dave slid his chair over to your table, nodding. “Sup Jade, Y/N.” June followed, sliding the wooden chair towards the three of you.

“Hey!” June said, twirling her pencil between her fingers. You honestly expected silence between the four of you until June suddenly perked up. “Hey, um, Y/N? Dave and I were wondering if maybe...uh...you wanted to hang out after school?” While June had her dorkish smile on her face, Dave looked like he had just seen a ghost. “Uh, yeah sure. Where?” June stopped for a moment, the pencil she was fidgeting with going still. You honestly couldn’t tell if she was thinking about where to hang out or processing what you had said. That is, until Dave saved the situation. “You fine with your place, Y/N?” You nodded, “Yeah, that can work.”

You snuck a glance at Jade, who was pretending to work on your project. You could easily tell she wasn’t working by the way she smiled. “Okay, we’ll see you there. Egbert and I have gotta go back to class.” Dave stood up, walking towards the door before waving back at you. “See ya Y/N. Bye Jade!” June said, before following Dave out the door. You looked back over at Jade, who was smiling brightly. “Ah! They’re totally going to confess to you, lover boy.” Your face heated up at her words. “Well, the bell is going to ring soon. Good luck Y/N.” Jade said, grabbing her stuff before playfully saluting you.

It didn’t feel right. “You know, Y/N, there’s another reason we came over.” Dave blurted out. June raised her head off the table, her expression worried. “We actually have something to say. Something that...hopefully won’t affect us in a bad way.” June nodded, wordlessly.

It was pure silence for another moment or two, before June spoke up. “Y/N. Um…” She took a breath before continuing. “Dave and I. We both like you. And. We would like you to be our boyfriend. I mean, that sounds really forceful. But we would….” June trailed off. Dave sat in silence, but you can tell by the redness of his cheeks that he was probably too flustered to speak. “Honestly, I would enjoy that. A lot.” You swear the two of them were going to pass out. “Wait. Really?” Dave finally spoke, his voice a bit shaky. You nodded, smiling. “Yes, I’m being serious. There’s nobody else I would rather date than you two.” Never in your life had you seen two people so red. June chuckled, smiling. “Jeez, you don’t know how happy I am to hear that.” “Yeah, this is...the best day of my life.” Smiling, you pulled the two into a hug, causing them to freeze up.
