AAAAAOMG UR TWST OC IS SO ADORABLE?? i'm absolutely in love with eden sm (+ his design?? the star eyes and the wings are my favorite,, i wanna smooch all his tattoos!) and i hope it's okay to ask a few questions about him... (I KNOW U SAID IT WAS OKAY BUT I JUST WANTED TO MAKE SURE 😭 i'm genuinely interested in knowing more!)

1) does he have anyone in the twst cast that he tolerates/likes? i know he's part of the whole harem thing but is there anyone he doesn't necessarily mind being around (or even sharing with the prefect?)

Had to get one of those wheels ive seen going around where you put the oc and how they feel about the character and how the characters feel back about them, but with a twist lol (most of them are haters).

The ones he are most tolerant with are grim, ace, deuce, jack and kalim. Only one he could possible share with would either be kalim, jack or deuce, because of how he sorta is annoyed by ace.

Of course cant forget how he feels about you :) he thinks you are very very very special and he loves you a lot <3

He likes grim a lot, seeing as grim isn't one of the students that is oh so annoying. He warms up to the monster, seeing how gently you take care of grim, wanting to do the same. It feels, domestic, in his opinion.

Grim likes Eden a lot too, he has never belittled him, he has always made sure to feed grim along with Eden being very warm (and therefore very nice to sleep on). In grims opinion, he thinks you should go with Eden, cuz he is a good candidate for marriage (grim has been bribed with love, affection, and tuna).

He takes good care of the cat son, making sure he is healthy and happy.

Now onto pda. Eden are only okay with you touching the wings, the tattoo and the core, being as they are quite sensitive. The scar is still off limits, but maybe if you make him warm up to you even more you might be able to-

He loves when you help him with his wings, it's one of the best feelings out there. Fo mind that only you (and grim) can touch the wings, anyone else is off limits, ESPECIALLY ROOK HE IS FORBIDDEN TO TOUCH THEM.

Eden facts!! He has lil "ear-holes" like birds, just behind the feathers. Be careful around that part when you help him with his feathers, otherwise you might have a pouty and angry Eden on tour hands.

His eyes also glow in the dark! It's the scariest during the nightly snack runs down to the kitchen, seeing him suddenly stare at you, but you slowly get used to it!

You don't know where the extra eyes sometimes come from tho...

Brothel AU!

There's an old historical thing about how, when someone wanted to marry a prostitute, they'd have to buy out their contract with the brothel they work at, or wait for it to run out, but due to a mixture of financial abuse and hidden taxations on food and board, typically the former was pretty much always required.

So.

I guess I'm asking as such, exactly HOW expensive are each of the boys in that regard, and whether or not they'd respond well to someone wanting to buy out their contract to marry them? Assuming they knew the person 'buying it out' relatively well.

Like, in no way is this an equal partnership, but nonetheless, it's fun to think about.

I was actually going to touch on that in a funfacts post I had planned on making! So thank you for asking about it now.

So far I'm not putting concrete numbers on anything since most of the fun for me is just world-building in the form of character interactions and relationships. But the price is basically built on rank. So depending on how popular the Entertainer is the more expensive they are. So as of now, the most expensive Entertainer to buy out of the brothel is Vil.

In terms of how an Entertainer can leave the brothel, there are three ways; four if you count death.

One is to simply run away; doing this will basically forfeit all protection, pay, and employment the brothel offered. If you run from Crewel's brothel you better hope you have somewhere stable to go. I haven't spoken of it yet, but the setting I have this AU is pretty much just a crime city where the only way to live a peaceful life is to live in gang territory. Since the brothel is linked with the Leech family, the biggest and most powerful gang in the city, there are very few areas that would accept a runaway Entertainer from Crewel's brothel.

Two is to accept a marriage proposal. This can go one of two ways. Since Crewel is the 'Madame' of the brothel, he gets the final say. He has accepted marriage proposals for Entertainers who were troublemakers or who caused unneeded drama in the brothel with clients they CLEARLY didn't like. But if you are in his good graces, he will negotiate with the Entertainer on what they actually want to do but the client will still need to make a lump sum payment of the Entertainer's current value if the proposal is accepted. In Vil's case, Crewel would not have accepted the proposal because he is fond of Vil, Vil is an excellent worker, and Vil said NO.

Three...Is getting pregnant. Which is another way that can go multiple ways; your standing with Crewel once again matters. He will either give you the choice to forfeit your last paycheck and simply leave the brothel to raise your child in peace; the client still needs to make the payment, but you're able to still access the benefits the brothel offers. He could tax both the Entertainer and whoever they claimed knocked them up until the child comes of age, OR the client has to pay either a lump sum or make payments as child support until the child comes of age if the Entertainer chooses to raise the child in the brothel. Kinda the safest option as children of Entertainers are treated like lil lords and ladies. Plus they get free education.

So far, Vil is painfully aware Rook seems to have the means to just outright buy him since he just easily throws around the money to book him for a whole day and STILL sends expensive gifts like clockwork.

Azul teasingly asks Jamil at the beginning of their sessions if he'd let him have his hand in holy matrimony. Jamil then hypnotizes him and reads for the next two hours.

Ruggie asks Leona to marry him every night as a joke. (He fucking falls off the fence when Leona says YES one day)

Riddle's path is predestined. Either Floyd gets tired of him or they're getting married. These are his two fates.

How did you get into Fire Emblem? NO JOKE BUT I first learned of Fire Emblem through some promotional pamphlet that came with Pokemon Sapphire I think??? And then saw them in Smash. Cecil definitely helped me get into it proper.

What Fire Emblem games have you played? Easier to say what I haven't, which is FE1 and FE3 (or their remakes). Only played Echoes, not FE2. The only games I started and never beat are Warriors, Three Hopes, and FE5.

First & Favorite Fire Emblem games: First exposure was one of the GBA, but Awakening was the first I beat proper, I think. My favorite FE games are 4 and 6.

Their ability to empathize is either super good or they struggle dearly (but are aware of that shortcoming). the more unconventional their gender, identity, etc is, the better.

Do you have characters or types of characters you don’t think you can handle writing, but wish you could? Honestly any character with a sizeable amount of lore. I'd just spend way too much time worrying I interpreted one of their support conversations wrong or don't do the character 'the right way'.

What kind of scenes, situations etc do you believe you enjoy writing the most? I like writing situations where the characters learn a new facet about themselves, or discover a place beyond their wildest dreams.

Marco is the oldest sibling out of 4. His parents were working alot so he basically learned to grow up quick and raise his siblings by himself and his sister (who was around 2 years younger than him). Hell he has the title from his siblings called "Little papa" He does good in school and when he went to highschool he met a guy named Streber. He was pretty alright he was a major dork and cringe but hey he had a friend and they got along well! After highschool Marco parents payed for a college for marco since he was a very smart guy but he lost contact of his friend since he went to another college and marco also sorta got out of touch with his family.. He drops out of college in the first year since it was too much and feels like utter shit about it. He felt like he let his family down (even tho thats not the case) and just moved into town He got hired as a mailman since the other one quit and is treated poorly by his boss. like poor pay,always screaming at him and etcetc but he actually liked his job so he kept it He meets skid and pump and everyone else pretty quickly and he likes most of the town.. Hell he had a small lil friend group now! Kevin,Radford and Rick He gets roped into skid and pumps shenanigans often and that is how he accidentally met eyes!! He barely remembers what happened that night but he usually remembers "It was very pretty that night" (Idk where to put this but he is now sorta a mutant thing he isnt fully human bc of hc shit i have with eyes.) A few months later He gets attacked by Bob Velseb. He was packing up his truck and Bob almost ripped his arm off. He ripped a huge part of his arm off and marco barely got away but did and patched himself up. His arm twitches and shakes sometimes bc of this attack. Hell he has panic attacks now bc of this. He never told anyone what happened that night. anyways after a tiny bit he gets used to his life for a few months/years and then he saw streber!! AND GOOD LORD HE TACKLED HUGGED HIM. He was so happy seeing this man. I mean they got pretty close and now they just picked up where they left off!!

thennn tender treats happen a few months later and marco was home when he gets a phone call about streber. God you do not know the breakdown he had. He blames himself for not being around he blames himself. He couldn't skip work to visit in visiting hours when he was in the hospital because his boss was a major ass and didnt care. of course streber lives but marco is badly paranoid now and keeps alot of what he is struggling with to himself. He doesnt open up with his problems since he feels like what he dealt with was not that bad. uh.. thats basically it hes just a worn out mailman and stuff. ALSO FUNFACT in the future i do make him take Pump and susie in since their parents arent around alot and mr.wonder is veryyy old..Hes a good papa

Dante X Choco - Taking care of pets

Currently taking care of my bnuuies, so I got inspired oop-

Choco owns two cute bunnies, and she always lets them out in the evening, when they are most active

She just loves to sit with them on the ground, watching them jump and run around.

And sometimes, they lick her clothes or hand as well, which she also enjoys.

Usually, they are afraid of strangers, especially tall man

However, Dante somehow got their trust

maybe it's because he sat down with Choco and the bunnies and gave them some treats while talking a lot to them-

Anywayssss-

He takes great care of the bunnies as well, but sometimes forgets duties like cleaning the toilet in the cage

So Choco has to do that or ask him to do his duty.

Sometimes, Choco and Dante lay on the ground, watching the bunnies

And they often run towards the two, licking their noses!

At first, Dante was actually worried that the bunnies would be too much for Choco, since they need a lot of care and attention.

However, whenever Choco is with the bunnies, she seems much more calm and relaxed.

She is also always super happy when she sees them doing cute stuff, like stretching and yawning!

And so, Dante knows his worries were over nothing

his beloved takes great care of her little bunbuns, and he himself also enjoys spending time with the lil jumpy creatures!

funfact: He loves to lay down on the ground to let a bunny jump on his chest, and then is always like "Chocoooo I'm being attacked"

I forget that the reason Bastalor is immune to possession is because of how often she was possessed in her youth because of how ambitious she was to use the power of dark matter...... She learned to control it with an iron fists but You Don't Get Possessed and not have a few dozen scars Her friends had to save her a few hundred times before she could really control and 'tame' dark matter so to speak, but I think she should be a lil traumatized from that point in her life as a treat FUNFACT- All those eyes in her goopy corrupt form? @dumdaradumdaradum , let me be honest, this was really good bro. The detailing and pacing was absolutely brilliant. With a Drift from a chaotic vibe to romantic one I was smiling through and through. Then gradually you changed the pace to make it lil more intense with touch of fun and I had my smile here too , I could literally picture everything here while reading when ram was teasing his beloved. And then you gave it the emotional peak , i really got carried away with it . Although the beginning was all cute with the touch of suspense here , the intense progression changed my expression completely. I still wonder how beautifully you gave it a closure with again those lovely cute emotions. Like a properly paced emw. It was captivating, it was beautiful<333. And not to mention the horror part too was written with the a mysterious charm . It was a treat to read something different after quite a while.

Short version: A lil sketchy exploration of the Uluth, the psychic hivemind squidpeople who are part of the antagonistic regime in my ttrpg current game. Lelu & Zwyo are members of the resistance. Really this was just so I could draw Lelu w/ some context. Lelu is a cutthroat negotiator and interrogator that uses the fact that they look like an adorable vinyl toy to throw people off. Zwyo is 1/2 of a pair that creates a series of political protest art (she does typography) & is involved in her community’s music scene.

Long version (copied from my patreon) w/ some extra art:

“A little bit of sketchy nonsense that I decided to color as a warmup. "Uluth" have been part of The Road's TTRPG lore for awhile (tumblr archive says 3 years but I think longer than that) - the races on The Road and the setting were something my partner made before we met so a lot of the world was set in stone by the time it became a collaborative project, and like many custom fantasy settings, have 'classic' fantasy race parallels (halflings, dark elves/orcs/trolls, and liches, the latter of which we aren't coy about).

I was running a very BPRD-esque game in a haunted hotel with some eldritch horror undertones when I conceived what I felt was my contribution to The Road's races (sort of, I'll elaborate later). The Uluth, a very loose homage to mindflayers, but turned on its head a bit to create a "good" (like, speaking alignment wise) version. I actually cribbed the leg design from the way I used to draw Mindflayers. A race of humanoid, psychic squid-ish people that were all linked up to pockets of collective consciousness that served as their gods/monarchs.  An Uluth has a lifecycle that goes gelatinous egg -> larvae/tadpoles -> something that looks more like a baby -> fully ambulatory child with a large rudder like tail -> juvenile (starting to express adult characteristics like definition in their fins, tails are shrinking into pretty much a nub - think teenagers) and then adult, with no tail, their final colorations (if they didn't have em already) -> and then finally, when their physical body dies, their ""soul""/psionic self ascends into the Overmind to contribute to the collective consciousness. At the time I made them, in the prime timeline of our games, Uluth had immigrated to The Road several hundred years prior to the current age (1974) as a Roman-level civilization, but their naturally pacifist nature, frail bodies that were susceptible to stress, etc. led them to be killed off by another similarly developed species to the point of extinction.

Originally, I never intended to draw a living Uluth or think much about how they looked like normally - they were viewed solely through the lens of the ghostly, psionic selves that had slowly gone insane and created a mad, fractured overmind, the psionic abilities of which had caused strange labyrinthine passages and other weird shit to spontaneously form in the hotel (....I really liked "House of Leaves" as a teenager, ok). But my player was running a very mad scientist-y character at the time and managed to rehydrate Peklam's (second image) mummified body and shove his soul back inside it, so all of a sudden we had a walking talking Uluth. Peklam was then one of my PCs for a game we did later with the same group of characters! The image of Peklam was done during that time, but I still like it, it was done when my art style was loosening up.

When we started doing AU games, we did a setting ran by me called Mindrunner in which the Uluth not only survived the cull, but partnered up with another race to become the dominant culture on the planet, and by 2035 The Road is highly technologically advanced with a lot of progressive things regarding universal healthcare and public resources, but has suffered in other ways, mostly regarding the dehumanization of a "undead race" that most Uluth, as creatures that never REALLY die, treat with a lot of fear/disgust/disdain. This sentiment is shared by eh most people. I would explain it further but I feel like this is already kind of rambly and dense. But suffice it to say, this other species, the Annubi, which a lot of our other characters are, have a similarly complicated lifecycle where they are normal, gradually get more decrepit but more powerful (and mentally unstable) as they age with NO UPPER LIMIT, creating Liches, and all of the psionic pressure on the road from so many Uluth is accelerating the process. Not to mention the stress of being treated like shit. Not that the current regime would accept that maybe they should be helping these people instead of shooting them in the head and calling it a day.

Needless to say, we are playing the game from the POV of the insurgency, because the government sucks in the real world so it's cathartic to overthrow a fictional one, lol. Not all Uluth feel the same - the two named characters here, Zwyo and Lelu, are members of the resistance. Zwyo assists another character to create political protest art (Zwyo does typography and layout, the other guy, Mandrake, does the art) and Lelu uses their psionics to be a master interrogator, and utilizes the fact that they look positively adorable to catch people off guard. They are in fact quite cutthroat, and used to be a bit of a con artist before joining the resistance movement. 

 Funfact: Uluth are super into "athleisure" type clothing because it dries quickly and does not restrict their movement. Another fashion staple is transparent accessories, like sleeves, jackets, bags, etc. Zwyo is very into the underground music scene in her home, and is a little more into "human music" and fashion.

This is really all just because I wanted to draw this NPC Lelu, who I had no idea how to design, as I hadn't thought a lot about what "young" uluth look like. Lelu is an adult Uluth who's body never got larger or lost its tail, and retains many juvenile characteristics (big ol eyes and head, short muzzle). They mostly take it in stride and are a small bastard.

That's it! Back to more important matters. Uluth are not the most visually exciting things in the world, they aren't as "weird" as I prefer my alien races to be, but for the setting, I find them visually appropriate and think they're cute. They are a throwback to an alien race I made when I was, like, 15.

Foxspirit: Used to be a very anxious tiny baby with love for healing, has evolved into a sleep deprived lovable grump who actually cares for everyone and is def the only cat with a brain in this god forsaken valley. He's very devoted and although still somewhat anxious he pushes through it to do what is right. He actually ended up fulfilling a prophecy instead of the propheced cat because he just couldn't sit on his ass and let fate take course, instead deciding to do this shit himself.

Echosong: She's Foxspirit's mentor and just a big fluffy lovable grandma. Also she's a munchkin so she's just...really fucking tiny.

Oddpaw/belly: He's Foxspirit's apprentice and left his home Clan because of his abusive mum and the fact that Foxspirit was super kind to him and protected the lil kit. He actually didn't have a name for months and was apprenticed very late! He was a very sickly kitten so his bitch of a mum refused to name him or even take care of him, Storm Clan was lacking a med cat so Foxpaw and Echosong came there occasionally to help and Foxpaw helped to deliver the kittens and had to witness Ambergaze being a horrible mum. After she tried to give him some rude ass name Foxpaw chased her off and named the kitten himself, Oddkit after his odd eyes. After this Oddkit decided he wanted to be Foxpaw's future apprentice! He also got the suffix belly bc he's just...really round and soft. Another funfact, he is Thornstar's grandson so he is also related to Foxspirit.

Snowwhisker: Big fluff man, but slowly getting old. Treats Foxspirit somewhat like his grandson since he used to train his mum back in the day.

Mossclaw: She's a sphinx and used to be a rogue. How did a sphinx survive in cold mountains? I don't fucking know tbh. Anyways she's one of the main bads and would totally murder Foxspirit if given the chance.

Cheetahfur: Def the smartest med cat in the valley, she's also the mum friend of the group and the voice of reason. She's like Foxspirit's second mum tbh....or rather third mum. Fourth mum? He's got a lot of parents.

Rabbithop: Foxspirit's friend and Cheetahfur's apprentice, they're just a big lovable ball of baby. Born anxious sweetheart and will die anxious sweetheart, Foxspirit would literally die for them.

Curlywhisker: Ran away shortly after Foxpaw was apprenticed to raise her kittens away from her abusive ex. She's a single badass mama who would supple a bear for her babies.

Tigerpounce: A big, scary, muscular dude. Literally the least cat you'd expect to be a medicine cat, but despite his terryfing apperence he's a very gentle healer. Also a cat of very few words.

Eaglepaw and Hawkpaw: I'm putting them together because their funfact is the same. They're conjoined twins! They're connected by the hip so walking is a bit tricky but they manage. They look like mirror reflections of each other, their parents and mentor Tigerpounce are probably the only cats in their clan that can tell them apart they're so identical.

NO YEAH I WAS THINKING ABOUT THAT and i was gonna address it in the answer to the last ask until i remembered that you talked about it in this one (id read both beforehand) and figured id just talk about it here. sooha's mom doesn't want people knowing about her ability because if anyone knows about it, that could be a VERY FAST shortcut to the organization knowing about it, which is not good on ANY front. and wait also wasnt there a whole plotline where sooha's family moved towns a lot as a kid, supposedly because sooha got branded as a vampire in every town they were in? what if it was ACTUALLY because sooha's mother wanted to keep them moving so the organization couldn't put a pin on their location?

also shit i just had a thought about chris. so. you know. he was killed by a vampire, and everyone in the town thought sooha did it. but weve also established by now that the organization employs low-grade vampires to do their dirty work. so what if. the organization caught wind of sooha and chris's relationship somehow; they heard about this boy to whom sooha told everything, shared her powers, trusted with her life. and they killed him. they killed him as a warning—not to sooha, but to her mother, to say "we're close. we'll find you. you aren't safe." and after seeing that, sooha's mother knew what it meant, so she took she and her daughter and began running. never again would they settle in a single town for long.

(that would also explain how the low-grade vampires know to use a fake chris to lure sooha later on—they would know, because THEY killed him. the organization ordered them to.)

FINALLY tried out a plain ass, yet somewhat healthy breakfast

Lowest water intake so far (3 cups only; Sunday was 4; Monday was 5); Me thinks I’m gonna have to take it up a notch with the reminders to complete the goal of 8 glasses/cups of water a day.

FUNFACT : Caela and I used to challenge each other on who could complete the most days of drinking 8 glasses/cups of water a day. That was fun :)

For dinner, the fam decided to eat out since Ally needed to buy school supplies and I had to get gas for the family car. We went to... IN-N-OUT (dun dun dunnn). Usually, this is supposed to be a treat because it’s such a cheat meal (or maybe not; idk about it’s protein benefits since it’s one of the more fresher fast food places). That shit was so bomb. At the same time, it was just alright. lol, idk how to explain it, but maybe my daily intake of more spinach might be changing my taste buds. Also, I’m trying to figure out still why the Double Double Plain is listed as a smiley face, when it’s a beefy, cheesy, oily burger. I’m also confused by the :| face beside the root beer soda, yet it has that “L” symbol (the Lifesum logo) in the circle (something I’ve gotten before for a healthy choice (see breakfast and lunch; the eggs, whole wheat bread, and baby spinach). Hm hm hm. Fast food is interesting.

BTW, this diet might actually already be starting to put in work. When going to Target right after dinner, I felt not bloated for once. I mean, this should mean a bad thing because I would then be hungry, right? I was actually just content though. Usually, before this regime, I ate as I pleased and snacked whenever I wanted too. Thus, always feeling bloated come time for dinner. Today though, that’s not the case. I wonder if the exercising had something to do with it too...

Speaking of which, I picked up my kendama for my first serious session of 2018. That never gets counted toward my exercise though. For some reason, only steps are counted by my iPhone (even though it has the capabilities to sense more; might be a battery conservation method, while still tracking at least cardio fitness). Along with that, I apparently burned 196 calories from when I was walking back and forth around school today (was just taking care of financial aid and classes stuff; school actually starts next week and NGL, i’m afraid of how that’ll affect this diet; NGL kinda excited too though). This cardio should’ve gave me more calories to work with eating, but I guess the In-N-Out washed it all up. Today marks the first time I went over the amount of calories I was supposed to intake. Sokay though, it’s only by 45 cals. Can’t wait to start being more strategic and adventurous about this thing. Just gotta find the time to meal plan...

So I updated the app to a more precise reading of my weight (181.4 lbs) and changed the time goal to reach 140 lbs as 24 weeks... although I’m looking at this now and I think it changed to 38 weeks by itself... hm. That would mean I’d be losing 1.1 lbs per week. Apparently that’s the “Steady” & “Recommended” rate for my current weight-to-goal aspiration. Soo... I think I’m gonna boost this to it’s new maximum realistic quickest speed: 29 weeks; losing 1.4 lbs / week. I mean, what’s 0.3 more lbs per week anyway? lol (this is gonna bite me, I already know it; might tone it down later; good to test one extreme of the spectrum before finding my happy spot... who knows... this might be IT. ahaha, to the extremeee!
