I'm sorry but you've given me an excuse to share my headcannons SO-

Mikey tries to bond with his siblings by giving them cooking lessons buuuuuuuuut

Raph is absolutely a nervous cook, he knows he's terrible at it and second guesses every step (it doesn't help that Mikey tends to just make up measurements on the spot).

Donnie tried to do baking because of it's similarity to chemistry, and expected to be a natural at it. BUT SURPRISE HE'S TERRIBLE AT IT and it frustrates him to no end. No matter what he does, how well he follows the instructions, it turns out horribly.

Leo, similar to Raph, knows that he is horrible at cooking. Therefore, he refuses to make anything other than a sandwich, which annoys Mikey.

I scrolled through a reddit AMA with Martha Wells and someone asked what show from our world Murderbot would re-watch to calm down and she said The Great British Baking Show!!!!!

Now I am in desperate need of art of Murderbot with a chef's hat and a silly apron in ART's galley covered in flour and cursing next to a failure of a Tarte Tatin or whatever, because turns out that when you have never even touched a food item in your life, baking is WAY less relaxing than watching a show about baking.

From a previous poll it has been decided that Lan Wangji can cook, but the real question is....Can He Grill?

#poll #I was going to do my thing and make a funny comic on the poll results but....#people got a little heated at that one. Not a unbearable amount of spice but I do not want to kick up any dust more than I have #Anyways now that THAT poll is over I just wanna add my two cents and say that I think both *can* cook. It's a matter of poor generalization #WWX knows the core principals but doesn't see much point in the process of cooking especially if it's just for him. Faster meals are better #Eat the raw ingredients and go back to work kind of guy #LWJ can follow a recipe and has the patience to cook a nice meal but doesn't have that innate chef sense. Useless without recipe type cook #They simultaneously can and cannot cook. It's situation specific #That *just* my own thoughts though! There is evidence to suggest both can cook if they must and there's the funny avenue of saying #that the are Banned From All Kitchens Everywhere #Cooking is different from grilling though. I think somebody made a delightful analogy of it at one point, but nay, not in a form of a question!

And I continue to absolutely love the idea of a paladin with an oath of friendship as Greygold's alternative class.

But! Deciding to become such a fancy class probably would've never have happened until after forming the tadpole squad. Gotta have friends to believe in friendship.

But a before-times choice if the call to ranger knighthood went unsung?

Shoot. Greygold probably would've been a whole different person if they never joined the Ranger Knights and befriended killer animal buddies.....I'm gonna be unfun and say it's a toss of the dice where their fate would've led them otherwise.

They joined the knights just so they can get a free meal, so....Whoever offers ✨the next best thing✨ to a young, hungry, and impressionable Greygold, is the pathway they'd've follow.

but then later with Tadpole Friends R "US", first opportunity, respec into Paladin: Oath of Friendship totally.
