Sirius’ voice and words linger in Harry’s head long after he’s gone, reminding him that the world isn’t as black and white as it’s been painted since he was eleven. All of the people that Harry has ever known have impacted the person he’s become. He has traditions he performs at seven that he learned in his twenties, from the same people who taught him to love in steps and stumbles.

It wasn’t “unconscious bias” when you wore a Nazi suit and called your fellow soldiers racial slurs, Harry. It was conscious racism and conscious discrimination, you knew it was wrong and you knew what you were doing. You chose to dress up in a Nazi suit at a party for fun and you chose to film soldiers and call them names for fun. You brought this up to make an excuse for your past behaviors and didn’t even apologize for it afterwards. So no Harry, you clearly haven’t ‘learned’ and ‘grown’ from your past.

There was a comment made by JH in SA about he and his brother being on separate paths. Everyone quoted it but they didn't quote it correctly. He said the following: "We're on different paths at the moment." Everyone quoted the different paths but most left out the "at the moment'. Keep in mind that words have meaning and I have taught writing at the junior college level. Now say to yourself "We're on different paths." Now, say "We're on different paths at the moment." Notice how it sounds, how you say it and how it feels. The first sentence is definitive. There is no changing or ending of being on different paths. Add the "at the moment" and there is a point in time where the paths are no longer different but the same. The question...which path is JH hoping they are both on? William will be king and JH...well, he is an exile. His sentence in SA has always bothered me. He said people didn't know him in the engagement interview and that was overlooked for awhile. When I heard him say that, I was alarmed. It made me wonder just who is Harry? No one is ignoring his engagement statement now. I've always believed JH has harbored the desire, wanting, and coveting of William's life and life path. I believe he has decided that if he can't have it, neither can William nor his father. JH's statement was, in my eyes, his declaration of war on his family, the monarchy and mostly his brother. TW..well...her family called it long ago.
