Pemberfield Walls
BGC
This set comes in three pattern variations in both Crown Molding (CM) and Paneling versions, for a total of six packages. Hopefully the preview images make sense, but the three variations are:
V1: Stag head pattern on a sort-of-quilted background with little diamond shapes
V2: Just the quilted background with little diamond shapes
V3: Just the little diamond shapes
Each wall comes in twenty colors paired with three EA wood tones, for a total of 60 swatches in each package. Most colors taken from the palettes sforz recently released because every time they release a palette I want to use it somewhere.
Download link below the cut!
Pemberfield Walls is brought to you by our sponsors:
Me finally watching the BBC Colin Firth Pride and Prejudice and noticing a cute little stag head pattern on one of their wallpapers. My walls ended up looking nothing like the ones in the show though
And our other sponsor:
Me rediscovering my Zune's music library and going on a nostalgic trip back to the music I listened to in late high school/early college while exporting all 1,080 swatches

The moonlight guides Selene and Lou through their tumultuous history, delicately weaving through the painful thorns of their past. Selene's eyes glisten, and Lou's apologies foam from his mouth as he confesses his constant thoughts of her since that fateful ordeal. The hope in his voice is palpable, he pleads to her forgive him. The moon provides Selene a gust of wind to throw caution to, and before Lou can even finish his sentiment, Selene wonders to herself, "what if I just kissed him right now?"
Tumblr media
Selene: [Breaks from kiss, breathless]
Lou: Selene...... I never stopped thinking about you. Selene: I thought I lost you forever...
Lou: No! I'm here now. [Picks her up off her feet] Forever. My Fated Mate...
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
Further along the same woodland path where Lou and Selene rediscover their connection, Wolfegang and Janie meander the trail for hours, their conversation weaving effortlessly between conversation and flirtatious laughter. As the influence of the moon intensifies, the two of them lose pieces of their armor: a helmet, a wig, and finally, their inhibitions.
Tumblr media
Janie finds herself charmed by Wolfegang's quick wit and extensive vocabulary; Ironically, Enthralled by her intellect and radiant smile, Wolfegang must restrain the urge to reveal the overwhelming notion of "FATED MATE," the only thought loudly ringing through his mind.
And the sunrise creeps in, threatening to steal away their precious time together, Wolfegang seizes the moment to invite Janie to his library, cementing her realization that she's found the man of her dreams.
About a half an hour later ~

Hazy and disoriented, Brick awakens near a pile of passed out wildfang members, surrounded by trash and empty bottles scattered about.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Brick: [Begins transforming back to "normal" form] ...The FUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUUCK happened last night?
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Tumblr media
Rebel: You got a taste of your full potential, bro... Brick: Oh, it's you. Rebel: My Beta was off getting all cozy and fate-forging with his fated mate, so we had room for one more last night. The pack agreed to let you party with us. Must not remember any of it. You had a lot to drink!
Tumblr media
With unintentionally synchronized movements, Rebel and Brick plopped onto the ground simultaneously, sending a flurry of crisp autumn leaves swirling into the air. Brick: Yeah well... It ain't happenin' again. Everyone had someone to leave the party with but me. This don't usually happen. This fated mates shit is screwin' with my head. Rebel: ...Who said you didn't leave with someone? Brick: Bro, what?! Rebel: [Laughter] Chill, I'm fucking with you. Who cares about all that right now? You're still new to this wolf thing. Focus on honing your skills, serving your pack, having your fun! You helped Lou and Wolfegang find their fated mates last night; that's what earns respect around here.
Tumblr media
Brick: Psh. Old ass Montgomery don't care about that. He doesn't see when I do nothing good, just when I mess up. Rebel: Try growing up with him. Brick: Nah dude, I would have laid his ass out by now. He's gonna get so pissy when he finds out about last night. [Frustrated grumbles] UGH FUCK DUDE I'm so done with his ass and his stupid lectures.
Tumblr media
Rebel: Come join the wildfangs. Lou—that's my baby boy, but honestly, with him being all starry eyed and in love, it's only a matter of time before he loses his rank as beta now that he found his fated mate. It's cutthroat, but true. I need someone tougher. Brick: Ha, I don't wanna be no damn beta. 'Specially yours. Rebel: I bet you rank lower over there with the old man. Brick: [Long, contemplative sigh]... You know what? Fuck it, fine. Let's go.
Tumblr media
[Heavy rock music plays from seemingly nowhere]
Rebel: Welcome to the Wildfangs, Bro...

music has always been a really important part of my life. i have been using it as a regulation tool since before i even knew what regulation tools were
when i was about 5 or 6 my dad got me a nintendo DSi and i Loved it. i used to play on it all the time. he got me an SD card for it and put a bunch of music from his music library on there, and i used to sit in my room with my headphones plugged into it just. listening to music for hours. it was mostly 90s and 00s pop, because i grew up in the 2000s and thats what i liked. mambo no. 5, s club party, grace kelly, that sort of thing.
then when i was about 12 or 13 i asked my dad to put some of his albums on my phone so that i could listen to music on there, two of those albums happened to be queens greatest hits one and two, and thus began my queen special interest
i only listened to queens greatest hits one and two, on shuffle, on repeat, all day every day for like. a year. and then i went to my dad and asked him to put All of queens albums on my phone (except flash gordon and hot space, the only two he didnt own), and then i created many Pure Queen playlists that i listened to on repeat for a few more years. in fact, i only started listening to Stuff That Isnt Queen during the first lockdown in march of 2020, when i was almost 17. so thats a good 4 or 5 years of Only Queen, because the special interest was special interesting
at that point, i made a youtube playlist of songs (mostly 90s and 00s pop) that i listened to while i did schoolwork, and i eventually transferred this playlist to spotify
i have made many playlists since then, and branched out my tastes with songs ranging from the 60s to the 10s, and i have rediscovered a lot of the songs i used to play on repeat as a kid
every time i listen to s club party there is a little kid inside me wearing shiny red headphones listening too. i have come full circle, and rediscovered what i always knew
there aint no party like an s club party

How do you do research for your vampire wips? Like do you watch movies or read and like what's your favourite inspiration
oh gods i've been experiencing every flavor of vampire media i can get my grubby little hands on since I was like, eleven. bear with me, it's been a long day and i am sleepy.
So a lot of it is reading and watching movies and finding podcasts and music and folk tales and modern opera (looking at you night library of sternendach) and vampire adjacent horror media like cannibalism and infection and reanimation and body snatchers and necromancy and the not yet dead or the not quite alive.
Technically. Technically. After a childhood reading of Bunnicula and the absolute 8 year old terror of Batman vs Dracula, my first foray into...you know. Book Form Person Vampirism would be Amelia Atwater-Rhodes Shattered Mirror. (Along with In the Forest of Night and Demon in My View). I got a lot of early things from the mythos I saw her doing there (ignoring that two of my original antagonists are straight rip offs of Nikolas and Kristopher).
Admittedly (and obviously) my main inspirations for a lot of the how of my vampirism come from 1987 cult classic The Lost Boys because I saw that movie at age 11, rediscovered it at 14, and then proceeded to watch nothing else for four straight months. I love the necessity of the first kill, I love the constant weakening of the body and the uptick in bloodlust while in the half-vampire state, I love the stupid decorated wine bottle full of blood.
But I am constantly seeking out new vampire media. It is almost the only thing I buy if I'm going to a brick and mortar bookstore. I buy them without vetting them, I watch shitty B and C movies just to see if they did anything halfways interesting with (usually no, but i've been surprised before), I dig up any video game I can find even if I hate half the characters (Crimson Spires), and I constantly screw around with my own mythos to see what works and what doesn't.
My vampires aren't even the same across all my projects. Safe in the Dark is very much more typical sort of Lost Boys/Near Dark/Grounded Mostly In Reality Aside From the Whole Teleporting Thing vampirism. And then you have Damask, 2005/Vee the Vampire where I am fucking about with religious horror and some low magic aspects and alchemy and just, adding way more supernatural fuckery.
I love vampire media, I love creating vampire stories, I love finding new vampire stories to experience. There is no monster I love more, there is no horror I gravitate towards faster.
A Favorite Book: The Lights of Prague by Nicole Jarvis
A Favorite Movie: It's the Lost Boys, I can't not say it's the Lost Boys, I will have my card carrying Lost Boys Whore Status Revoked. I owe the late Joel Schumacher many things.
A Favorite Song: Shake It Out by Florence + The Machine has been synonymous with regretful self-despising vampirism for me since 2011 and i'm not about to give up its spot to anyone. (But shoutout to Good In Red by The Midnight as well)
A Favorite Podcast: That Vampire Show by @tandonshows (because wow if I was not Kat Wright as a teenager I am a goddamn liar)

Oh my God. Holy shit. OH MY GOD. HOLY SHIT.
Okay so when I bought my current laptop it was back in 2021, and I transferred everything over from my old one except for my music library. It's a long story, summed up as "Sometimes computer stuff is scary, and the anxiety of losing data is paralyzing."
So I just...didn't have access to my personal music library for the next three years...UNTIL THIS DAY. I finally got my music library transferred to my current laptop (it took an embarrassingly simple like ten minutes, don't judge me), and I had forgotten that the considerable majority of said library is comprised of music from 2000-2010, back when Baby Rhino was younger, less tired, when her world was smaller and less complicated, and when the most stressful part of her life was graduating high school and starting college. For context, I joined tumblr in 2012 (I think? It might have been 2011). I am listening to my pre-tumblr days!
I am rediscovering the tracks of my adolescence, and the nostalgia is DESTROYING ME. The shuffle just tossed on a song from the Smallville soundtrack. I haven't watched Smallville in over a decade, but I just might start a rewatch to wring every last drop of this blissful nostalgic emotion out of it.
My depression is cured for tonight.

God dammit I have become obsessed with Lisa the Painful and more specifically its fandom's ability to make the HARDEST and WILDEST songs available.
I swear to god its like finding a treasure trove of this shit, its akin to finding Undertale's fan OST...thing, I dunno the technical name for it but its like its whole own genre
Like, take for example the works from Maddie Doktor, who has a few tracks in the fan game Lisa the Pointless: Downtown Mechanic (essentially a swap AU of Lisa the Pointless for the undertaleheads out there) You want some hard ass tunes? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=DQjuDd58U1Y Want some real ETHEREAL TYPE SHIT? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oIi--DYVwrs WANT A FUCKING TRACK THAT SOUNDS LIKE HOMIE IS FIGHTING IN SOME MARTIAL ARTS FILM??? https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=nc-CQ_6acjA
I SWEAR TO GOD its like CRACK, and she's not the only one up-and-coming in the Lisa fandom
My favorite artist has to be Cane B, who does these weird and wild remixes alongside original soundtracks for example, there's their version of 1000 faces of rage from Painful's definitive edition that just go SO HARD https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=5x9CrCOILGk or their more original tracks for a project called Lisa the Joyful: Growing Pains https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=cFpdTnN2rvw
Another one who has been lost to time, save for a working archive out there on discord is one legendary AdmiralHippie/SpaceHippie, who I mentioned in a previous post covering Space Station 13. His work is mostly known within the fan work Lisa the Vegaful, though he has a lot of original tracks that work just as well in a fan work If anyone is interested, I'd recommend looking up the working archive of his music, or looking DO BE AWARE THOUGH, As far as I am aware, SpaceHippie/AdmiralHippie has requested that his original works be pulled from existing fan games/not to be used, given an incident where he had wiped his youtube channel alongside his existing library from youtube, so I will not post the files of his OST out on here to respect his wishes, but I still highly recommend giving them a listen and if ya do see him out there, give him some well wishes.
A third one to keep an eye out on is another up-and-comer who posts more hip-hop-esque mixes, goes by the name of Broken Sword on youtube. His work, at least as far as I'm aware, will be showing up in Vegaful's Sample Update, which looks to update the original Lisa: The Vegaful fan game to add more animations, and act as replacements for AdmiralHippie's tracks. So far he has two albums of lisa fan music out, with the second one being posted a week ago around the time of this post. DEFINITELY give him a look when you can https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ygwXrKdNmvQ https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=t94ntyYm6dQ
There are so many more artists out there that produce some TOP TIER shit for Lisa if you ask me, from Taitoki with his work on Lisa: The Pointless and its up-coming Monster Update (ONE SPRITE A DAY, BABY!!!), ChaCos, who's work extends into the fan-mod of Pointless known as Scholar of the Wilbur Sin (SOTWS), Baursach of Lisa: The Timeless/Lisa: The Fool fame alongside the creator of the Timeless fan game Torrington (Who had put out his own album not too long ago, GIVE IT A LISTEN, ITS HIGH QUALITY SHIT)
God I can go on and on, but the point of this Hyperfixation post is to highlight some SINCERE TALENT in this fandom, and its genuinely what keeps me as invested into Lisa as much as the official thing, and ESPECIALLY given what we've gotten out of Definitive Edition as is with Austin Jorgensen/Widdly 2 Diddly's work on the OST. Its again like rediscovering Undertale and Deltarune's weird but FASCINATINGLY GOOD underground fan genre out there

Rules: Put your music library on shuffle, then list the first five songs that come up in a poll to let people vote for which one they like the most.
for this poll, I’ll be using my “default” playlist on Spotify which is basically a mishmash of songs I learned/enjoyed from tiktok (when i used to have it 🫥), nostalgia songs i rediscovered, etc etc etc
basically it’s what “liked” should be for but im built different (from lego bricks)
ANYWAY ON WITH THE ROUNDUP
(im crying wtf i don’t remember this???😭)
tagging (no pressure as always!) @rosemirmir @offhandway @orchiddingme @samuraiondo-mace-1177 @modernagegarbage @jichanxo @bizarreshiz @crmsndragonwngss (if you feel like doing another poll for a new playlist 😗)

Accessing the Stowe School Recording
What is the Stowe School Recording?
On the 4th of April 1963 (two weeks after the release of Please Please Me) the Beatles played a gig at Stowe School in Buckinghamshire. One of the students present (John Bloomfield) recorded the gig, and recently rediscovered that recording. He donated it to the British Library, which means anyone can go and listen to it (see below for details).
Tumblr media
Is it worth it?
Obviously your mileage may vary, but for me that answer is definitely yes. I wasn't expecting the recording to be over an hour long, but I stayed and listened to the whole thing. I reckon I'll go back again if I can fit it in next time I'm in London.
Alright, how do I listen to it?
The recording is free to listen to, and is available in the Sound Archive at the British Library in London. The building is about 2 minutes walk from King's Cross St Pancras. (map)
You need a Reader Pass to access the room. If you're a UK citizen you can just get one on the day, but if you're not then I recommend starting the process online before you go.
You will need:
Photo ID
Proof of address
They give you an ID card that's valid for 3 years. The process was pretty straightforward and the staff are very helpful. They have very good cloakroom facilities and free secure lockers, so if you have carry-on sized luggage with you, you can store it there while you visit.
They're very strict about what's allowed into the reading rooms, so plan to use the lockers.
Once you have your card, go to the Rare Books and Music reading room on Floor 1. Marvel at the ancient tomes people are carefully examining. Find a computer with a set of headphones attached (towards the back right of the room) and set yourself up. If you have your own laptop you can use one of the empty spots in that area.
Search the catalogue for something like "Stowe Beatles". There are pages and pages of other recordings you might also like to listen to.
What's the playlist?
I Saw Her Standing There Too Much Monkey Business Love Me Do Some Other Guy Misery I Just Don’t Understand A Shot of Rhythm and Blues Boys! Matchbox From Me To You Thank You Girl Memphis Tennessee A Taste of Honey Twist and Shout Anna Please Please Me Hippy Hippy Shake I’m Talking About You Ask Me Why Till There Was You Money (there's a section here where the tape got recorded over with an incredibly annoying song) I Saw Her Standing There (reprise)
My highlights
Stowe School was an all-boys school at the time, but it's clear from the recording that there are girls at the gig.
Boys! gets a huge response, and I'm pretty sure it's Ringo singing Matchbox immediately after. Later (around 55m) the crowd starts chanting for Ringo to sing again.
There's a good amount of banter between John and Paul, not all of it very clear. I'd love a chance to sit and listen to those parts over and over again, and see what I can make out. Alas I didn't have time, and I only had the in-browser audio player, which made it basically impossible to hop around.
The crowd starts shouting out requests at some point, and some boys shout for A Taste of Honey. There's some laughter, and the timing of it sounds to me like John is mugging.
Towards the end someone shouts for How Do You Do It and one or John or Paul sings the opening phrase, with an audible smile, but they don't sing it.
Anything else?
If you can, I recommend bringing your own laptop and headphones. There are computers and headphones there, but the browser interface is not ideal for going to specific timestamps, you have limited control over volume, and I think you'd get more out of it with medium to high end headphones.
If you want to skip the truly awful song that got recorded over a section of the tape, the original comes back in around 1:01:25.
In the same building they have some of Hunter Davies's donation on display in the Treasures Gallery. This was a small selection on the day I went, and I was pretty disappointed, but they do rotate those displays every six months. It may also be possible to access the other items for research purposes, I haven't investigated that yet.

2, 11, 15 and 20 for the music ask game
2. an artist you recently rediscovered: nell! was looking through reddit for korean rock and was slapped in the face by the memory of listening to this specific song while on the bus my first year of high school
11. a song you don’t agree with, but is just so good: this is an interesting prompt! i don’t really think i can pull anything from my library that fits this? i listen to a lot of music that i don’t relate to, but nothing that i downright disagree with. maybe if i was to go through all of my non-english language music i would come across something, but i don’t have the time for that 😅
15. favorite instrumental track: mandolin my beloved. punch brothers my beloved.
20. song that makes you emotional: choosing this one because the lyrics do leave a pang in my me (I know you're leaving, but why the hurry?) but also because i was watching their live concert film earlier and started crying in the middle of this song because i am just simply so invested in Some Guys from Slovenia

8, 14, and 25 for the end of year ask game!
Thanks for the ask! Sorry for taking an eternity to answer it. :'D
8. Game of the year?
Oof, it's a tie between Hogwarts Legacy and Baldur's Gate 3, which is funny because I've never actually finished a single run of BG3. I've never even made it out of Act 1 (yet). It's such a blast, though, how could I not mention it? Also Gale. Just, Gale.... ❤
14. Favorite book you read this year?
I think I read the most books this year than in any year previous. I rediscovered my library card and kind of went to town. Again, we have a tie: The Name of the Wind (Patrick Ruthfuss) and The Fall of Hyperion (Dan Simmons). I loved both author's writing styles, and the characters - and worlds - they created. If I had to choose just one, I'd choose Name of the Wind simply because it's fantasy and deep in my bones I'm a fantasy-loving nerd, despite trying to convince myself to leave it behind some years back for some stupid reason. Glad I came back to my senses.
25. Did you create any characters (in games, art, or writing) this year? Describe one.
Oh oh, I get to talk about Royce? Royce, whomst I love?? As much as I would love to gush on and on about him he's still kind of new(ish) so there's limited info to share. Let's see. He initially started out as a (kind of random tbh) HL avatar, then the brainrot had me making a DnD version of him so I could play him in BG3, and now I'm attempting to adapt him into an original character untethered from existing media. He's definitely still undergoing development in that regard, but I can say that he has an affinity for fire magic, is friendly, kinda clumsy, low-key goofy, a bit impulsive and easily distracted, and loves to sing and play musical instruments. I have no art to share at the moment, so here's a screencap of his BG3 self, complete with dorky hat because, yes, I forgot to mention, he loooves hats.
Tumblr media
Forgive my graphics card, it can't render hair for whatever reason. *sigh* He's still adorable, though, in my totally neutral, unbiased opinion. ;)))
Thanks again for the ask!

Regarding More Shapes + Raves + the blog's future
So you might be wondering why I mostly moved on to making Kirby fan art and other interests, from making the S3RL Trilogy. This sudden loss of interest in making MSPR wasn't explained very well by me, but given the current state of things right now, I should say it.
Right now, the old iteration of More Shapes + Raves has been considered "canceled". This is mainly because of the comic's development being hit by major scope creep coming from suggestions made by my friends and myself. With a scope so huge, the comic's ideas became disorganized and very arbitrary, unnecessarily causing too much growth and less motivation to make the comic.
A plan I have been considering for a long while is to reboot MSPR. The core concepts (such as Raver Dimension, Neko Nation, Rave Six, etc.) will be retained, however I'd need to change up some things to prevent a potential case of scope creep coming for the reboot, such as the addition of unnecessary ideas and songs. Given the return of activity on the Interdimensional Library Discord, MSPR's reboot might be one more chance to spring the comic back in action.
Some things to keep in mind for the MSPR reboot:
All panels will be remade in a 1920x1080 resolution to match the highest screen resolution rendered in Just Shapes & Beats. They will also all be made in Inkscape, in comparison to past S3RL Trilogy panels, which mainly made use of MediBang Paint.
The musical aspect of MSPR may be potentially toned down. I haven't been in the mood lately to make musical songs for stuff like lore, backstories, etc. Instead, MSPR will continue the traditional storytelling and dialogue that the previous stories (Hexagon's Adventure and Fiveside Force) have.
The playable flashback acts will be completely removed. Think that's way too much from the original scope. These will be relegated back into regular cutscenes.
The intro act may be completely changed. I think there has to be a more coherent reason why Fresh rediscovered the Ravortexia in the first place, not just by finding some random book on the ground.
Some songs will be retained, but there might be some new ones too. Additional fights that were introduced in my Mixtape concepts (like Endless Summer) may be re-incorporated into MSPR.
The Rave Six, as of now, is based on guest characters that represent the vocalists of various S3RL music, and other celebrities and friends in real life. To lessen the connection to the real deals, some names of the characters will be changed. I've done a few ideas with HexaCryonic about this.
Most importantly, the skeletal structure of the lore and backstories used in MSPR will be kept, but they will be refined over time for a more coherent storytelling. This includes the backstory of Raver Dimension, Fresh, etc. while also coherently tying it in with aspects of JSAB Story Mode including the Lost Chapter.
Teasers will be handled better, as I might include things like more song hints, WIP art teasers (in the Interdimensional Library server), and more.
Regarding where the MSPR reboot will be posted, they'll be posted to any Just Shapes & Beats servers that I'm in, but these will be the most active places where you can find the S3RL Trilogy and MSPR:
This blog (obviously). @pentriahex
Interdimensional Library (JSAB Comic Server, where S3RL Trilogy also gained popularity there)
Berzerk Studio Official Discord
r/kirby Discord
These are just some of the basic plans I had in mind for a potential MSPR reboot, and there might be more in the making as the reboot plans are still developing. However, this is not all what I have in mind:
Raverian Encore: MSPR & S3RL Trilogy Extra Mixtapes & More
If you have been following my works in the Berzerk Studio official Discord server, you might have noticed I've been developing some "extra levels" that still have ties to the MSPR theming. Most of the time, these are levels that have very arbitrary song picks.
If you don't know what extra levels are, these are levels in Just Shapes & Beats that do not have any ties to the main story, and must be unlocked by other means (eg. collecting Beatpoints, performing certain actions, etc.) There are already obvious examples such as Tokyo Skies, Paper Dolls, and even tracks like Deadlocked and the Strike the Earth (Shovel Knight) remix by Danimal Cannon, but I'm sure you'd already know that by now.
The songs revealed for Raverian Encore were:
Caleb Hyles & Ironmouse - Omae Wa Mou (Silva Hound Remix)
Crispy & KungFuFurby - Electrospire (from SMW Central Production 2)
Shirobon - Counter Format
S3RL ft. Lexi - Heart Thief (Promoted from EleCyon Mixtape)
I'll be eventually posting these later on the S3RL Trilogy blog, but this is not important right now. I want to discuss more about how I'll be handling extra content going forward:
Scrapped levels and arbitrary level concepts will most likely end up in these so-called "extra mixtapes". Notably, there will be three mixtapes, each containing new levels that are tied to the theming of the three stories in the S3RL Trilogy.
There are three colors of mixtape: purple, green, and yellow, corresponding to Hexagon's Adventure, FIveside Force, and MSPR.
The purple mixtape is called "Extragon-N-On", and is obtained after completing the OctoChaos boss battle in Hexagon's Adventure.
The green mixtape is called the "Side Five", obtained after liberating Planet No. 5 in Fiveside Force.
The yellow mixtape is "Raverian Encore". I planned this to be given by the Rave Master after Triangle begins his quest to reassemble the Rave Six in Act 1 of MSPR, and I'll keep that too for the reboot.
The old iteration of More Shapes + Raves will be archived as a separate thing when I make the S3RL Trilogy downloadable in the future.
Some scrapped levels and even mixtape levels may be subject to being added in the MSPR reboot, but this is purely based on my decisions.
Concept art and the MSPR plan documents may be shared in a separate download if I do decide on doing that.
The future of the blog
Right now, More Shapes + Raves is still being re-developed as a reboot, so I can't say I'd be posting much of the comic here. However, since this blog is designed for the S3RL Trilogy in general, I'd want to clarify some things:
I originally planned on reblogging most of my old comic posts from Hexagon's Adventure and Fiveside Force on my main, which also used to be the S3RL Trilogy blog before rebranding as my main Tumblr account in general (which also has a main focus on Kirby fan art). However, I decided that I'll be just making new posts on this blog for Hexagon's Adventure and Fiveside Force, as I do plan on rewriting most of the comic captions and dialogue.
The state of the comics will be kept as is, with some exceptions. I really should note once again that Fiveside Force admittedly took way too much from Decagon's JSAB comics (which are sadly cancelled as of now), and as a result I'd need to remake some of the panels.
In regards to the above, the worst offenders I've seen were that one PentaBoss scene in the Perfect Rave battle and the meet-up of Lord Apeirogon with Marga in the introduction of Act 4, and I'm not sure if the entirety of Act 1 and the Monsta boss battle in Act 2 counts. In this regard, such quality does not match up with my current standards, as I've now strived to push for more original content nowadays, and as a consequence I'll just be remaking some panels in Inkscape.
There will be now unique tags for the blog's posts, which I will explain in the following section.
If ever the S3RL Trilogy has concluded, there are plans for the blog to switch over to just being a comic blog for my Just Shapes & Beats universe in general. I also plan to repost some of my old Tumblr ask art for posterity purposes, and also revive an old JSAB Flower OC I've adopted from the Bountiful Blossoms JSAB adoptable blog (thank you once again).
Anyways, next part is least important but is something I'd want to talk about in the event I do plan on posting comics to the blog:
Blog Tags
I'd want to promote the use of blog tags to make it easier for people who want to navigate my comics. The planned tags would be:
#hexagon's adventure - This is for posting comics related to Just Shapes & Beats: Hexagon's Adventure.
#fiveside force - This is for posting comics related to Pentagon & The Fiveside Force.
#more shapes plus raves - This is for posting comics related to More Shapes + Raves
#the s3rl trilogy / #s3rl trilogy / #s3rltrilogy - These are the main tags of the blog in general.
You may also use these tags in fan art, just be sure to tag this blog or send me an ask for posterity purposes. I'd like to see what you've made.
Anyways, that's pretty much it then. I hope you are still patient enough to look forward to the eventual revival of MSPR and to the blog in general. Thank you for the patience and the long read, and I hope to see you again soon.
If you also want other non-JSAB content, you are free to check out @cyonofgaia, which is more dedicated to all my passion projects in general.

Viva Las Vengance by Panic! at the Disco
Genres: Pop Rock, Glam Rock, Power Pop, Rock and Roll.
This is the seventh album by Panic!, and it is now officially their last.
This is a post I didn't want to write. I heard snippets of this album on social media and listened to Viva Las Vengence the song when it came out. I hated everything I heard and didn't want to stain the memory of what was once my favourite band. Now that "the band disbanded" (Brandon decided he won't write any shit anymore), I felt a little weird not listening to the final part of their discography, given how impactful that band was to me in middle and high school. So I decided to listen to it.
The only songs I liked were ones where I could hear bits and pieces of the band they used to be: Viva Las Vengenace, Don't let the light go out, Local God (if it weren't about Ryan Ross), and Something about Maggie.
I actually had to listen to the album twice to get an actual opinion on it. The first time I listened to it, I thought "Hey, this isn't that bad". But that's what the album is trying to do. It's music for people who don't think twice about what they're listening to. This album is a confused collections of songs which are trying to be Theatrical, clever and interesting. Brandon completely and utterly failed at doing so. The actual result lies between weird, awful and sometimes painful to listen to.
But I think this is enough about this awful album. I'd like to title the rest of this post "A love letter to Panic! at the Disco".
before listening to VLV, I decided to take a tour of their discography, listening to each album once chronologically before I listened to their final one. I felt two conflicting and opposite emotions doing so- I felt like I was both touring a graveyard and reliving my middle school years at the same time. From the grooviness and fun of Time To Dance, Lying is the most fun, Nine in the afternoon, Hurricane and so on, straight to the almost flashbacks of ninth grade I've had while listening to The End Of All Things, Always, and such. I was reminded of how much this band shaped me. Of how much of my teen years were inspired by Panic!. Panic! were my favourite band for I think around 5 yeras. from 7th grade up until right before I started this account and expanding my musical taste. They were the soundtrack to the hard times I had with studying in High School. When I hung out and laughed with friends in middle scool, Panic! played. When I cried, I comforted myself with Panic. When I was bored with something, I played Panic to entertain myself.
The last time I've listened to their albums was when covering them here. It was closer to relistening than rediscovering them like it felt now. I was still in High School, and I covered them because I ran behind by a few days.
I don't think I've listened to a single Panic song since then. Not because I didn't like them, I just fell in love with other music.
And I fell in love with them again The band I loved so much was as good as I remembered. Having gained some distance from high school, and having enlisted in the army, feeling the way I felt when listening to some pop punk and alternative rock is a weird feeling. It feels like coming home on a wednesday with a shit ton of math homework, and ignoring it to instead play minecraft with friends. It feels like going to school on a monday, bored out of your mind, wishing you could read your book instead. It feels like going to the library on a friday and coming back with 10 books, and giving half of them back by Sunday. It feels like going to the mall with friends and talking about who likes who and how mean is your English teacher.
It feels like Home.
And I want to thank them. Thank you Panic for your years with me.
Thank you for being the band which shaped me the most.
Thank you Ryan Ross for forming this band I love so much Thank you Dallon Weeks for going the way you went with TWTLTRTD, possibly my favourite album by them. could've done without the last two albums Brandon, But thank you all. Thank you for being my adolescence.

RULES: when you get this, list 5 songs you've been listening to. tag 5-10 followers to do the same. I was tagged by @lisadoop.
I guess I'm the only person in the world who doesn't listen to the same songs over and over, so I don't really have that many I could list. But nonetheless, here's 5 songs that have been on my mind for various reasons.
youtube
1. Honey by AFTERxCLASS
Not super familiar with this artist outside of this one track, which I think is their most popular, but I love it, it's super catchy. Came up again on shuffle recently and I've been thinking about it a lot because I realized the part where they say "you're bitter as shit" is sung to like the exact same tune as the Danny Elfman Batman theme, I'm pretty sure. I almost want to do an edit lining it up to prove it, but it wouldn't be worth the effort just for that. I mean I had a few other ideas that could work to turn it into a YTP or something, but probably not enough.
youtube
2. Super Mario Land With Lyrics by brentalfloss ft. Dave Bulmer
I've been playing a lot of Mario games recently, including Super Mario Land for the first time, and I'm embarrassed to say I've listened to Super Mario Land With Lyrics enough times that it's all I can think of when I hear the world 1 music from that game. I'm not even super into brentalfloss or anything, I only know a handful of their tracks, but the few I know I know really well, just because I've had them in my library for so long and they've come up on shuffle so many times. I could probably recite the lyrics to both this and Ocarina of Time With Lyrics all the way through, maybe without even listening to the songs. I don't even like them that much! I think they're neat, but not enough to know them this well! I NEED HELP!!!
youtube
3. We're Not Candy! by Long Island Regional Poison Control Center
This very well may be stuck in your head too, since these videos keep getting recommended to everyone. Some may say it's kind of a meme right now. I wouldn't go that far, not enough different takes on it to say that. I was working on an edit where they say they actually are candy, but... FUCK! Someone beat me to it! Two days ago! God damn it, I've been working on mine for like a week or two, I'm just really lazy! This one isn't even good, it's like way too long, maybe I should still do mine. That's honestly the version that's stuck in my head right now, just those beginning lyrics but instead of saying like "We could make you delirious" they say "We could be delicious". Nobody else make this edit!! I call dibs!!!
youtube
4. Streets by Doja Cat
I just really like this song, I often find myself muttering the lyrics of this one out loud. Particularly the whole rap verse with the Final Fantasy line, love that. The way the lyrics flow into each other there makes it a big ear worm for me, even without hearing the music. Just really fun to recite.
5. Icy Tower Theme (NES/2A07) by Zlew
Just got done streaming some Icy Tower a little earlier, and damn I could groove to that kazoo menu music for hours. But I especially like this cover I found on Soundcloud. I think the cover art is like the second image search result for Icy Tower which is how I found it like a year ago and also how I rediscovered it earlier today. Just a really stellar chiptune take on Man of Constant Sorrow imo.
Okay that's it, I guess I'll tag @jerryterry, @norwayspruce, @object-at-noon, @talkingheadsfan, and @peenerpeenerihaveawiener. Sorry for the tag, the chainmail told me to and I don't wanna get cursed :/
