Eddie doesn’t post much over Parents weekend. When he does post, it’s a picture to the Official Corroded Coffin twitter account of Wayne rocking a vintage CC sweatshirt (vintage as in Eddie made it for him before the band even existed).
Overly invested fans don’t have to fret though because whereas Eddie isn’t posting, the kids are.
Every year they fill out bingo cards with Very Specific Things that they think will happen over the course of the weekend and play to see who gets bingo first. This all plays out across their TikTok accounts because the rule is: if you don’t get a video, it didn’t happen (the rule was made after the cheating scandal of 2016).
The game is always centered around whoever is hosting so this round is Steddie-centric. So, no one makes it obvious that Steve’s mom clearly didn’t show up, but if you’re invested enough in his mama drama than you’d pick up on everybody’s effort to keep him engaged enough that he doesn’t really have to think about it.
(1) The first to get a piece on the board are El, Mike, and Lucas. They manage to catch on video Claudia Henderson fully lifting Steve off his feet when she hugs him. You get three different angles of Dustin next to them with the most ‘are you shitting me?’ look on his face because she hugged Steve first.  This is a staple of these events. It happens every time. Everybody had it on their bingo cards but the others didn’t get it on camera.
(2) Will has ‘Karen says something that would’ve gotten Steve’s neighbor burned at the stake’ on his card. He posts a TikTok of Karen referring to Steve and Eddie’s salt and pepper shakers as ‘kitschy.’ Steve smiles and says, “I know! Eddie picked them out.”
(3) ‘Eddie stands on a table’ was banned from being on the card because it has happened at every single event ever. ‘Eddie falling off a table and being caught by Steve’ however? Very specific. Weird it happened. Lucas gets points, but also a little side eye.
(4)It’s not going to win Erica any points, but she posts a video of her mom talking to Robin about finding her a good man. Now, don’t get her wrong. Sue Sinclair’s LGBT+ ally-ship is only rivaled by Joyce Byers, but she never remembers that Robin is a lesbian and Robin is always too awkward to correct her. It’s like watching two robots have a conversation because Sue mentions that Dustin is single and Robin is just like, “And…short?”
Eddie is not in the video but you can hear his wheezy laugh next to her. Erica’s just like, “Would you use your inhaler or die somewhere else?”
(5)Dustin posts a video of Steve standing by the window, clearly lost in thought as he stares out at the road. You can see Eddie sneaking up from a distance but instead of scaring Steve, he takes him by the hand and spins him around so they’re facing one another. Dustin isn’t close enough to hear what they’re saying but you can hear him mutter ‘gross’ when Eddie presses Steve up against the window to kiss him.
Steve’s the one to pull Eddie towards the stairs going to the studio, but they don’t actually make it down them because Hopper pulls Steve away to talk to him. There’s an argument between the party in the comments of the video of if this counts as ‘Steve and Eddie sneak off to make out like teenagers in the studio’ because they don’t actually succeed in sneaking away.
(6) Every single person playing gets a video of Hopper looking at Eddie and asking if he’s on drugs. Eddie says, “I don’t doOoOo drugs, Dad. It’s just marijuana.”
Dustin gets an extra point for catching Steve’s eye roll. Eddie has repeated that phrase at least a hundred times since Dustin told him about the Russian elevator.
(7) Max and Dustin both score a point with ‘Steve and El pull a “prank” on Eddie’ and it’s just Steve very confidently claiming that he can roll a nat 20 easy-peasy just by rolling the dice in a special way. Eddie obviously calls bullshit and then Steve rolls a 20 three times in a row.
After the fourth time, Eddie narrows his eyes at Steve and then spins around until he spots El on the other side of the room and points at her like “YOU!!!” No one watching understands this video. There are fights in the comments about what the hell is even happening here.
(8) Max is the only one with ‘Eddie says ACAB’ on her card. She posts a video of her handwritten card and then pans the camera up to Eddie. They’re all sitting around a bonfire later in the evening. Steve’s practically in Eddie’s lap as Eddie says, “-exactly what I mean, ACAB! All cops are bastards!”
Steve: Not Hopper
Eddie: Especially Hopper! Are you kidding me? Do you know how much weed he stole from me?
(9) Mike catches Steve and Eddie sharing a cigarette on the front porch later that night. It’s only after someone edits the video to remove the sound of the wind that you can kinda hear Steve say ‘It’s just that this is kinda it, right? I opened the door and she slammed it in my face.’
Most of the conversation is inaudible, but Joyce catching them and taking the cigarette from them is not. Neither is her shooing them back inside and finishing the cigarette herself.
(10) The party members all end up staying the night and everybody sleeps in the living room since Hopper and Joyce have Steve and Eddie’s bedroom and Wayne has the guest room. Steve and Eddie sleep on the couch because Eddie’s back can’t handle the floor. Max and Lucas get an air mattress, and Dustin claims the other side of the couch with El since they’re the only single people there. Everybody else is on the floor
Max wins bingo with a one-two punch the following morning with Mike complaining that Steve stepped on him with his big ass sleepwalking feet and Dustin posting a picture to his Instagram of him, Claudia, and Steve with the caption “best moms a guy could have.”

((ooc: Okay ya'll it's time to put your thinking mickey ears on and your listening mouse ears on too because it's time for a guessing game: Did anyone notice that no fucking complained about Hosty being in the Streching room before the inside of the manor got updated?
Tumblr media
I'm asking this because I notice after the update of the inside of the manor out of the clear blue someone bitched about Hosty appearing hanging there if you put all puzzles in places ya'll I think I saw lots of Karens/Kents a mile a fucking away that didn't like the new inside of the wallpaper of the manor and we're upset that we're the original was gone.
Tumblr media
So probably what happened was a bunch of Karens/Kents threaten Disney to get Ghost Host remove due to over the new look/new wallpaper of the Haunted Mansion which is pretty fucking stupid. Who agrees with me on this? Remember the post I made about Hosty getting removed by Disney?Yeah that propably what happened.
Tumblr media
I mean let's just say for an example a Karen or a Kent decide to threaten Disney to remove Hatbox Ghost because they we're disturbed his head in the hatbox when his head appeared in there?Lots of people would ON THE INTERNET would have a pissy fit of who said that basically these Karens/Kents get mad over the dumbest things that shouldn't get mad over. They enjoy getting a target on their backs don't they? But for Halloween of 2021 I'm gonna dress up as him and have a custom skeleton of him hanging outside to trigger the Karens/Kents because we're born with 0 brain cells!
Tumblr media
But I really didn't notice this until after the update of the new inside of the manor. So this makes lots of scence now to me because if you look at the original wallpaper.... This post here on instagram:
instagram
And the new wallpaper of of the manor and update...... BINGO!Karens/Kents got into a childish fit because the original wallpaper of the manor was removed! So they go upset and went into a fury of blood massacre looking for the manger but couldn't find them so the species of Karens/Kents so they threaten Disney to remove Hosty in the Streching Room!
WHO AGREES ME WITH ME ON THIS?!I certainly do!))

"I've Got To Go!"
Friday 2nd October 2020
Hello again everyone! I am back again with my second post of the day. This post will be covering Friday's episode of EastEnders. I'm just going to jump straight into it as I'm sure we have a shed load to get through.  So, the episode starts with Mick and Linda discussing the evening plans of going to the Drag Bingo! Linda is really looking forward to a night out with girls after being in lockdown for so long. Mick obviously has his concerns, as it's going to be the first time she's going to be surrounded by alcohol in a long time. Linda is instantly insulted by her husband, even though he states how proud he is of her for getting off the booze, he can't help but worry. She tells him that she hasn't had a drink in months and she knows what she is capable of, she knows she'll be able to handle it. Mick apologises to wife, insists that he was in the wrong and she should be able to enjoy a night out with her friends. Something does tell me though that something is going to happen? Whether Linda can't handle the pressure and takes a swig of alcohol and relapses? We shall have to wait and see?!
At the Mitchell household, Phil is sat with Ben and Callum, Phil is sat looking at news on his tablet about the car crash regarding Raymond. As he's doing this, Callum and Ben are having their own discussion about Callum's support worker and talking about how he's helping him to cope with what he's witnessed recently. Callum assures his boyfriend that his support worker is really helping him, just being able to talk things through about what he's thinking and feeling really helps. Ben is glad that Callum is seeking help with his recent traumatic experience - he turns to his Dad saying how much things have changed since his day, but Phil - obviously - hasn't been listening to the conversation. He turns the switch around and leaves the room. Ben and Callum are both a bit surprised as Phil makes his exit.
At the restaurant, Max is sat reading the newspaper as Linda brings in his dry cleaning. She's surprised to see him sat there while she's struggling with his clothes, she asks him whether or not he was planning on picking it up, he truthfully says "No", saying he'd gotten too used to the personal touch. She smiles, sarcastically as she goes to leave. As a friend, he asks her whether anything was wrong, she apologises to him for her rudeness and explains she'll be looking forward to a night out with her girls when work is over, she informs Max that it's Drag Bingo night at the Prince Albert, he Max insists that he joins them and he'll be happy to buy the first 2 rounds. Linda accepts his offer and invites him along! I have to be honest, I do like the little friendship they've got going on, I just hope it'll be nothing more than that!
Suddenly, we can see that Denise has answered her door to someone, that someone being Phil!!! Denise seems surprised to see him, do you think she's suspicious that he knows about Raymond? She begins to apologise for slagging him off the other day. At first, Phil seems sympathetic, he states to her that his visit has nothing to do with her slagging him off, he admits there's no easy way for him to say what he's come round for to say, so he tells her straight and informs her about Raymond. Firstly, Denise plays dumb, as Phil gives her all the information he knows, Phil soon realises that she already knew!
Meanwhile, at the Taylor household, Karen is acting coy with Mitch. The last time we saw them, they almost kissed before Gray walked in on them. Karen is still reeling from recent events, she tells Mitch to forget what happened, for as far as she is concerned its was nothing! But Mitch can't let it lie, he asks what would've happened if Gray hadn't have walked in. But Karen reminds him that their daughter has just died, her head is all over the place at this moment in time, she can barely lift her head off her pillow most days. As they are having this conversation, Billy walks in asking if they're both okay. He tells them that it's nice to see them talking again, as he leaves Karen reminds Mitch that she and Billy are happy. Mitch asks her though, whether that is true, is she really happy? Karen worries as she contemplates Gray telling the children about her and Mitch, but Mitch is unsure how to respond to her, what is he supposed to do about that? She looks at him in pure dismay!!
Back with Denise and Phil, he is furious that Denise already knew about Raymond and didn't even think about informing Phil. She tells him that there simply wouldn't have been any point as neither of them are allowed contact with him. She explains that she only went to the hospital to make sure he is okay, but then she lets slip that Ellie found out who she was - and instantly Phil is eager to know who this Ellie is - Denise explains to him that she's Raymond's Grandmother. Phil can't believe what he's hearing, he reminds Denise that it was actually her who wanted to give up Raymond, Phil wanted to keep the child. She argues that it was a mutual decision, she softly tells him it would be impossible for him to have contact with the boy now, but he is insistent as he marches out of the house.
Back at the Mitchell household, Ben is making dinner as Callum is discussing taking Lexi out for an ice-cream, he explains to his boyfriend that doing something with the family would help him, considering he still can't stop thinking about the orphaned little boy (Raymond). Ben sees that it would be a big support for Callum so he agrees, it's then Callum basically says that you've got to look after the people that you care about! Ben looks at him with loving eyes and he admits that that is one of the reason why he loves him, because he cares so much, plus it'll also be a reason why he'll make an amazing copper! Ben then goes on to say that also perhaps, working for his Dad may not be such a good idea, but Callum doesn't want to hear it and tells him to end the conversation there.
At The Prince Albert, Linda is finally joining the Drag Bingo party. She finds Sharon and Max waiting for her, she goes up to the bar to buy them both a drink. As she does so, Mick informs her that out of the goodness of his heart, he's made her a drink with no alcohol in it! He even puts a little umbrella in her glass just so she knows it's hers. Mick is of course just doing the decent thing trying to look out for his wife, but it's clear that Linda isn't happy about it. Is she feeling like he doesn't trust her? She sadly takes the drink Mick has made her and walks away. Can I just also point out that I LOVE the fact that they've got the same Drag Queen for this Drag Bingo, who also performed "Proud" on their special Walford Pride episode! I LOVE IT! And also such a beautiful Drag Queen! Amazing! Tina notices that Mick is looking upset, she approaches him and tells him to forget the whole situation with Frankie, she can see that it's Linda who's on his mind, she promises him that as long they are both at the club, Linda will be okay! Back at her table, Max compliments Linda's glass saying that the umbrella looks cute, Linda is sarcastic as she responds with "Thank You" - Max can see something is wrong, he asks if she's okay, she simply shrugs it off, but I think we can all see what's about to happen, right?!
Meanwhile, Mitch decides to pay Gray a visit, as he enters he asks whether the children are home, Gray isn't really very welcome to his Father-In-Law. He asks him instantly what he wants, Mitch decides to go for the gentle approach and basically explains to him that Karen is worrying about what he saw the other day and whether or not he'll tell the children. He explains with everything that's going on right now, it may be for the best if the kids don't know. Gray seems to be insulted that that is all he's come round for, he's annoyed to the core that that appears to be all he cares about. He reminds Mitch that his wife has passed away and that he is hallowed under! That is how things are for him right now! It's then that Gray starts to say some nasty things towards Mitch, saying how lucky Chantelle was to never have him in her life, Mitch can't bare to hear the things he has to say but deep down, he knows he's right. He agrees and he says he's sorry. He can't begin to explain why he wasn't there for her as he can't even remember. Even when Chantelle met Gray, he wasn't in her life. As Mitch apologies, Gray is surprised by Mitch's reaction as he slowly begins to cry.
Back at the Drag Bingo event, Max appears to be enjoying his bingo experience, that is until someone beats him in getting all the numbers. Linda approaches the bar where Mick has made two new drinks, one for Max and one for Linda, Mick just so happens to mention that there's vodka in Max's drink. He also instructs her again that glass with the umbrella in is hers. We all know he's doing this out of love because he cares for his wife and wants her to be safe and not wanting her to fall off the band wagon. He politely asks his wife to look after the bar whilst he fills up another pitcher. As he disappears, it's then the sound goes fuzzy, the music drowns out the noise of the club and the Drag act hosting the Bingo. Linda is looking down at the glasses, they look exactly the same, only hers with a umbrella in it. At this moment in time I am shouting at the TV screen - "No! Don't do it Linda!" - but it's too late, she switches the umbrella into the other glass and takes a swig of Max's alcoholic drink, not just one but two big gulps! She takes a huge sigh of relief, as if she's been wanting a drink for so long. She turns around to walk back to the table, but we can see Max is staring at her, has he just witnessed everything? Has he just seen her down some alcohol? What is he going to do?!
Back at home, Jack returns to find Denise in a state. Denise reveals to him that Phil knows about Raymond. She's in despair of what Phil is going to do, she speculates to Jack of what plan Phil is going to do. She's worried he'll find a way to get contact to Raymond, she frets that Phil is going to make Raymond a part of his family, just like he did with Dennis. However that is of course just Denise's opinion, I simply just want to say that Phil doted on Dennis. He loved that boy like he was his own, he even ended up adopting him. Phil has always been big on family, regardless whether they've been caught up in trouble, family always comes first for the Mitchells. Jack promises Denise he won't let Phil get to Raymond, but Denise informs him that it's already happening. I am hoping here, that Denise and Phil will put their differences to one side and perhaps fight for shared custody of Raymond. I'm really intrigued as to where this story is going to go!
Back at the gay-bar, Tina is looking pretty pleased with Frankie. She informs her that she's got the job after such a successful event. Frankie tells Tina how much she loves working at the Prince Albert, as they begin to grow on their friendship, Sharon approaches the bar, she's won a round of Bingo and won an inflatable guitar! She tells Tina to make her way over the Vic so they can borrow some whiskey, she gives her the keys and tell her not to worry as Ian can pay for it, they laugh as both Tina and Frankie leave to get the alcohol. Outside the bar, Linda is confiding in Max. She can't even understand why she had a gulp of his drink, she's opening up to him, asking whether is this what it's going to be like from now on? Her being the alcoholic of the Carter of the family? Will Ollie end up growing up not being able to trust his mother? She explains to Max that she looks into the future and sees Ollie coming over to find his Mum in a mess. Max tries to reassure her, she's not an awful person, he understands what she's feeling, its then he decides to open up about his demons. He reveals to her that when he came out of prison, he used to hurt himself deliberately with cigarettes, burn himself on his arms so he could hide it from his family. He admits it did hurt but it was worth it because it was his way of dealing with it, his situation, his emotions, his feelings, his thoughts, everything. He tells her not to be ashamed of having a slip up, everyone makes mistakes and it doesn't make her a bad person. As Max is saying all this to Linda, it looks as if they have come to fully understand one another and they've somehow connected more in recent weeks, as they share a look between them, Sharon emerges from the bar all giggly and giddy from having a good time. She's waving her inflatable guitar around claiming that she's a winner! Max and Linda giggle at their friend, she's clearly enjoyed herself. Linda tells Max to put on his knight in shining armour act and take Sharon home.
At the Mitchell's, Jack is paying Phil a visit. He comes peacefully and tries to explain that Denise is worried about Raymond, more worried about the fact that Phil will try and get involved in his life. Phil informs him that Raymond is his son and he has rights, but unfortunately Jack responds with the fact that because he gave him up, he lost those rights 3 years ago. He warns him to stay away, to make sure that Phil gets the message he blackmails him, he warns him that if he doesn't keep his distance, he'll tell the police about the assault he did on him before Christmas, covered him with petrol and held a gun to his head because he believed he was having an affair with Sharon. Phil scoffs, he tells him that it was months ago and the police are hardly going to care for something that happened almost a year ago! It's then that Jack informs him that he is a sworn police officer, if he comes across any crime he has to report anything his is witness too, and if he does decide to talk, it may cause the police to start looking more closely at Phil.
Meanwhile, at the Vic, Tina and Frankie are making their way in through the back door to grab some alcohol, as they search the shelves Tina is complaining on what a mess Ian has left the room in. She states that Mick would never have left the room in that state. Frankie suddenly reveals she's found what they're looking for. Tina praises her and tells her to grab a few bottles so they can make their way back. As Frankie and Tina smile at each other, Tina takes her opportunity and leans in to kiss Frankie - but she backs away and apologises. Tina is obviously left feeling humiliated, is Frankie not gay then? But then also, I suppose Frankie can't get involved with Tina in that way if there's a chance she could be family? I do feel sorry for Tina as it looked as if they were both getting close, it's a shame as it would be nice for Tina to find love again.
Back at home, Denise is waiting for Jack to return, she doesn't know he's paid Phil a visit, she's sat waiting anxiously on the stairs, we hear the door latch and the door opens, she looks up longingly and Jack reassures her that everything is going to be okay. Denise is left is absolute relief! As this is happening, Phil is left reeling with his thoughts as Ben enters the room. Quick question - does Ben even know about Raymond? Is he aware he has a half-brother?! Something tells me I'm about to get my answer any moment now - As Ben comes in asking whether his Dad is okay, Phil tells him to take a seat, he obviously has some news he needs to tell his son. (Oh yes, he clearly knows!) Phil informs Ben that he's found out news about his brother, Raymond and that it just so happens that the accident Callum witnessed, was the one Raymond was involved in. Ben is clearly shook by this news, he asks whether he's been to seen him. Phil admits that he has and he states that no matter what anyone says, nothing is going to stop him from seeing his son!
The final scene of the episode, Linda is overlooking the barrier of the Prince Albert. Max finds her and joins her on the balcony. He informs her that he's managed to get Sharon safely home and he left her sound asleep on the sofa with a bucket next to her, just in case. As they share a little laugh, Max asks if he can tell her something, but it strictly has to stay between them. Linda promises not to say anything to anyone ... there is such a long pause, I'm beginning to think he's going to say he's fallen in love with someone he can't have (ie: Linda) ... or whether he was going to reveal some big secret that was going to kick off another big storyline, however he suddenly says "I hate Bingo!" ... and honestly, I'm left feeling disappointed, I was hoping for something big then but it turned out to be nothing. Anyway, Linda laughs and Max asks he whether she's okay, she says she is and they slowly turn to face one another, Max shuffles to be close to her, they lean in and they both share a very quick kiss. Linda pulls away very suddenly, but then - something brings her back and they kiss, for a much longer period. Linda pulls away for a second time as she realises she's made a huge mistake. She quickly makes her get away, insisting that she has to go, Max calls out after her, but she runs down the stairs and rushes back to the Vic as she weeps.
A very interesting ending to the soap I have to say, I did kind of hope that Max wouldn't cross that line with Linda, but now he has ... is she going to be the one thing that is going to be constantly on his mind? Is there going to be a Max and Linda affair or is it just going to be the one off? Will Linda come clean to Mick and be honest about what's happened. Will Phil actually get contact with Raymond? Oooo we have a whole new week to look forward to starting tomorrow! I once again apologise for the lateness of this post, but I hope you'll all enjoy reading as much as I enjoy writing them. I'll be back tomorrow following Monday's episode. Enjoy the rest of your evening folks! Goodnight! xXx

Every Upcoming Blumhouse New Horror Movie For 2021 and Beyond
https://ift.tt/2Jkmo81
In just over a decade Blumhouse Productions has gone from a very smart agile indie to possibly the most significant horror production company out there. It’s slate is huge, it most quickly and cheaply, trusts in its creators and favours originality and genuine scares. Though the pandemic has meant certain release dates have had to move, or not as yet locked in, it’s clear the Blumhouse juggernaut is showing no signs of slowing. It has several film in production, with release dates set for 2021 and even more movies in various states of development.
We’ve rounded up the latest on all of Blumhouse’s upcoming horror movies. Note: we have not included TV, we haven’t included anything which is clearly not a horror and the projects which have been in development hell for many years are summarised briefly at the end. We’ll keep this updated so pop back for all your Blumhouse needs.
Image from 2013’s The Purge
The Forever Purge
Release date: 9 July 2021
This fifth installment of the The Purge franchise will reportedly be the last with creator and writer James DeMonaco promising a ‘really cool’ end to the series. This movie was originally scheduled for a summer 2020 release – filming wrapped in February 2020 – but dates inevitably shifted and now it’s aiming for Summer 2021. While DeMonaco wrote the script, the movie is directed by Everardo Gout who’s best known for his work on National Geographic series Mars. The movie stars Ana de la Reguera and Tenoch Huerta with Josh Lucas and Will Patton.
Welcome to the Blumhouse (second batch)
Release date: 2021 tbc
This imprint which launched in October and streams on Amazon Prime will get another four installments in 2021. The series once again aims to give a platform to upcoming and underrepresented voices. The movies are:
Madres
A pregnant Mexican-American woman and her husband move to a migrant community in California where she starts to experience strange visions and phenomena. Is it the legendary curse? Or is something more sinister going on? This is a first feature from Ryan Zaragoza and stars Tenoch Huerta (The Forever Purge) Ariana Guerra, Evelyn Gonzalez, Kerry Cahill, and Elpidia Carrillo.
The Manor
Residents of a nursing home are haunted by supernatural forces in this film from Soulmate director Axelle Carolyn. Barbara Hershey stars as a woman who’s recently moved into the home following a stroke who suspects malevolent beings are at prey and needs to convince everyone around her she doesn’t belong there at all in order to escape.
Black as Night
Teenage misfits battle vampires who are attacking New Orleans’ disenfranchised in this feature from Maritte Lee Go which sounds like it might appeal to a young female demographic as well as the usual Blumhouse fans. It stars Asjha Cooper, Fabrizio Guido, Craig Tate, Keith David, Mason Beauchamp, Abbie Gayle and Frankie Smith.
Bingo
Set among an eldery community in the Barrio of Oak Springs, Bingo sees a stubborn group of friends lead by the matriarchal Lupita who keeps them together a family, face their toughest threat yet when they discover their Bingo hall is to be sold to a powerful force. Gigi Saul Guerrero, who directed an episode of The Purge TV show and also a segment of Blum’s Into The Dark horror series takes the helm.
Halloween Kills
Release date: October 15 2021
Originally planned for October 2020, this follow up to David Gordon Green’s 2018 Halloween reboot (which was a direct sequel to John Carpenter’s 1978 Halloween) will now arrive in October 2021 to carry on the saga of Laurie Strode (Jamie Lee Curtis) and her family in their ongoing battle with Michael Myers. The previous installment was a smart addition to the franchise dealing with themes of PTSD in the wake of what Laurie experienced as a teen so we have high hopes for this. Blum has said the movie will be “Huge” and “Intense” and will feature returning legacy characters from the original.
Halloween Ends
Release date: October 14 2022
The third part of the reboot trilogy is planned for 2022 and will bring to a close this part of the saga. Ahead of the release of Halloween Kills it’s difficult to predict which direction part three will take us in but if IMDb is to be believed Laurie, her daughter Karen (Judy Greer) and Granddaughter Allyson (Andi Matichak) will be in a final showdown with The Shape.
Paranormal Activity 7 (as yet untitled)
Release date: 2022 TBC
Announced back in 2019, Blumhouse is supposedly planning a seventh installment to the found footage franchise, with Oren Peli the creator of the original Paranormal Activity attached to write. No plot details have been released yet and it’s possible the unexpected events of 2020 have affected plans for this. The latest in the franchise – 2015 Paranormal Activity: Ghost Dimension is the least profitable of the series but still grossed $79M worldwide from a budget of $10M.
Vengeance
Release date: 2021
This is the directorial debut of actor and comedian BJ Novak (who was one of the writers on the US version of The Office, where he also played Ryan Howard), which follows a radio host from New York (also played by Novak) who travels down South in an attempt to solve the murder of his girlfriend and discover what happened to her. The movie co stars Logan’s Boyd Holbrook as well as Ashton Kutcher and Issa Rae. The production began in March 2020 but was put on hold due to COVID19, but has started back up again and Blum says they’ve almost finished shooting what he describes as “a cool, offbeat movie”.
Five Nights At Freddy’s
Status: Pre-production
Currently in pre-production is this adaptation based on the popular horror video game franchise where a night security worker at a restaurant called Freddy Fazbear’s Pizza is terrorised by sentient and murderous animatronic characters who come alive after dark. The movie was originally optioned by Warner Bros with Gil Keenan to direct but is now with Blumhouse under Chris Columbus. Despite delays, Blum is confident this is still very much on the cards telling Inverse “”It’s still active. We haven’t quite figured it out, but we’re getting closer every day.” The videogame franchise featured several sequels and spin offs so if Blum and Columbus can make this a hit there’s every possibility for multiple sequels.
Wolfman
Status: Pre-production
After the massive success of The Invisible Man, long time Blumhouse collaborator Leigh Whannell has signed on to tackle another classic Universal monster with the Wolfman. This is one of the strangest but most exciting titles on Blumhouse’s slate with Ryan Gosling attacked to star as a man who is cursed after being bitten by a werewolf. Gosling is a massive talent, Oscar nominated twice, who is selective with his projects so we can only imagine the script must be something special.
Mother Nature
Status: Pre-Production
Announced back in May Mother Nature marks the directorial debut of Jamie Lee Curtis herself. An eco-horror co-written by Curtis and Russell Goldman who’s head of development at Curtis’ company Comet Pictures, this is the first film in a three year first look deal Comet Pictures has with Blumhouse. Details are scant but it looks like this will be themed around climate change. “I’m 61 and my motto now is: ‘If not now, when, if not me, who?’” Curtis told EW. Well quite.
Untitled John Ridley Paranormal Thriller
Status: Pre-production
Novelist, screenwriter and director John Ridley is set to write and direct this chiller based on this article entitled ‘Project Poltergeist’ which tells the true story of a young boy who is purported terrified by supernatural occurrences in a public housing project in the 1960s. “This is an incredible true-life narrative of a young man dealing with horrors – both paranormal and racially systemic — in a community that is scarred by hate, yet ultimately brought together by hope,” said Ridley, speaking to TheWrap. “I really appreciate Blumhouse’s commitment to telling stories that seek to entertain audiences even as it challenges them.”
Patrick Wilson in Insidious
Insidious 5
Status: Pitch
It’s been ten years since the very scary first installment of Insidious, one of the franchises that really helped put Blumhouse productions on the map, and the series shows no sign of disappearing into the Further just yet. A fifth film is apparently on the cards with star Patrick Wilson set to direct. The film will focus on the Lambert family ten years on as son Dalton prepares to go to college. “We’ve had a lot of luck with first-time directors who are actors, even Jordan Peele (Get Out) or Joel Edgerton on The Gift,” Blum told Den of Geek.
Caroline Ward in Host
Untitled Rob Savage project
Status: Pre-production
Sure the defining horror movie of 2020 has to be Host, a low budget indie written, shot and released in just 12 weeks during lockdown, a Zoom horror which perfectly captured the zeitgeist. After rave reviews, Savage and his team, screenwriters Gemma Hurley and Jed Shepherd and producer Douglas Cox signed with Blumhouse for a three picture deal. In typical quick and dirty style they’ve already begun work on the first of these features, which will reportedly be scarier and more ambitious than Host. Definitely one to watch.
Untitled Dracula project
Status: Treatment
Announced back in March, Jennifer’s Body and The Invitation director Karyn Kusama is attached to another Universal Monster project – a new adaptation of Bram Stoker’s Dracula. Kusama told the Kingcast podcast that it would be a fairly faithful adaptation which will lean into the idea of multiple voices and points of view to tell the story, and perhaps present a slightly different version of the Count himself. “I would just say in some respect this is gonna be an adaptation called Dracula but it’s perhaps not the same kind of romantic hero that we’ve seen in past adaptations of Dracula,” said Kusama.
Untitled The Thing Remake/Untitled John Carpenter/Blumhouse Project
Status: Pitch
January of 2020 saw rumours that Blumhouse was working on a new iteration of The Thing, based on the (relatively) recently unearthed longer version of the story the movie is based on Who Goes There?, by John W. Campbell Jr. – the longer version is called Frozen Hell. Though there are two separate entries on IMDb for this project they are clearly the same ‘Thing’ – the ‘Untitled John Carpenter/Blumhouse Project’ suggest the Halloween 2018 director David Gordon Green maybe attached.
Firestarter
Status: Script
This new adaptation of the Stephen King novel has been kicking about since 2010 but there has been some movement recently. Zac Efron has been cast in an as yet undisclosed role and Blum has promised a “faithful” adaptation. At one point Akiva Goldsman was attached to direct, then later Fatih Akin but as things currently stand The Vigil director Keith Thomas is the frame to re-tell this story about a young girl with the telekinetic power to set things on fire. There was a previous adap of this story released in 1984 starring Drew Barrymore and directed by Mark L. Lester, with a miniseries Firestarter: Rekindled broadcast on the sci-fi channel in 2002, so this sits within remake territory.
Untitled Elizabeth Moss Project
Status: Pitch
This is a proposed adaptation of Virginia Feito’s novel, Mrs. March, with Moss producing and set to star. The novel will be published in 2021 and has been likened to Shirley Jackson. According to the synopsis it follows an upper Eastside housewife “who unravels when she begins to suspect the detestable protagonist of her husband’s latest bestselling novel is based on her”. Moss’s Love and Squalor productions with partner with Blumhouse on the project
Also in development:

This is the only shower that I was completely aware of. 😛 I think hiding and the concept of surprise is not something my Mom considered. 😛 About 40 days before our wedding, my mom kept asking me of my weekend schedule because she wanted to plan my bridal shower. She was that blunt!! Haha.
Unfortunately, one of the unexpected things happened 15 days before my wedding. My Mom got Shingles! Shingles!!To be honest, I was worried for myself. Have I contracted Chickenpox when I was a kid? No. That’s exactly why I was extra cautious! I’ve seen my classmates before who had the illness, even my siblings. Thus, I know how the battle scars can never be removed and I was only days away!!
My Mom was very understanding. She was thinking of the wedding too but the bridal shower was near and we can’t ignore her sudden shingles. I didn’t want to continue this because I know my mom won’t be there and I know that she was the one who planned everything together with my sister. But she really wanted to throw me a send-off dinner.
Tumblr media
I’m in my staple wardrobe because obviously, it was no surprise. 😛 It was held in a small function room of Mama Lou’s in BF Paranaque. ❤ The room can hold around 15 – 20 people. They still had a table for my gifts and a table for the props and all.
The guests were a bit older than the usual guests during a bridal shower. Thus, the games that my sister planned were games that can be done on paper and while seated. There were: What’s in your bag? How well do you know the Groom and Bride? Guess who, Bride or Groom? Word Search, Bridal Bingo Card. My Mom and Sister also prepared some prizes. ❤ ❤
Tumblr media
I absolutely had the best dinner. ❤ Everything that they served was delicious! and mind you, this is the first ever cheesecake that resonated to me. RESONATED? Hahahaha. My husband is a huge fan of cheesecakes and we would normally order separate cakes but man! The Mango Cheesecake of Mama Lou’s is the bomb!
Tumblr media
After several games and our sumptuous dinner, time to unwrap what they prepared for me. ❤
Thank you Tita Grace & Tita Aileen for the Pillows. Thank you Ninang Irma for the set of Utensils. Thank you Ninang Baby for the Dish Rack, Thank you Tita Evelyn for the matching towels. Thank you Tita Karen and Tita Carol for the cash. 😛
Thank you Ate Ives for the All purpose Shelves. Thank you to my sister for the set of glasses. Thank you Rox for the Bowl Server. ❤
A special thank you to my sister who planned the games, prizes, decor and even hosted the whole night. Thank you Ate Ivy for co-hosting. Thank you Rox for helping decorate the place and thank you to my brother who drove me and dropped me off.
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Thank you everyone for spending your Saturday Evening with me, for participating in the games and for bringing a little something to help us start our married life. ❤ Thank you. ❤ ❤
EVERYDAY: Bridal Shower (Family) This is the only shower that I was completely aware of. 😛 I think hiding and the concept of surprise is not something my Mom considered.

The DC Collaborative has seen an increase in membership and programming activity of more than one third! nearly 50,000 students were served through the Arts and Humanities for every student program due to the partnerships with members and the Field-trip Experiences grant through the DC Commission on the Arts and Humanities.

Following the initial presentation, the virtual Drag Ball will be available to view on Twitch for 24 hours and on YouTube for one week.
