Rahul Gandhi rejects Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury’s claims, said stone pelting incident is ‘wrong news’
Congress leader Rahul Gandhi’s car was damaged near the Bihar-Bengal border. On Wednesday, Congress MP Adhir Ranjan Chowdhury said that the act is suspected to be stone pelting but Rahul Gandhi came up with a statement and said that the claim is ‘wrong news’.
Later a clarifying post on X on Congress's official handle read, "A huge crowd had come to meet Rahul ji in Malda, West Bengal. In this crowd, a woman suddenly came in front of Rahul ji's car to meet him, due to which the brakes were suddenly applied. Then the glass of the car broke due to the rope used in the security circle. People's leader Rahul Gandhi is fighting for justice against the injustice being done to the people. The public is with them, the public is keeping them safe,"
Chowdhury said that there were unidentified persons who threw stones at Gandhi’s car. “Maybe someone at the back pelted a stone amid the crowd...Police force is overlooking that. A lot can happen due to overlooking. This is a small incident but something could have happened too,” he told the press.
Rahul’s car was attacked while he was reentering West Bengal from Bihar in Malda's Harischandrapur area.
On Tuesday, Rahul’s Bharat Jodo Nyay Yatra reached Katihar after which he carried out a roadshow in Bihar on Wednesday. He was approaching West Bengal after that through Malda.
The incident happened in the backdrop of TMC chief Mamata Banerjee’s decision to contest the Lok Sabha elections alone.

Types of Households Shifting Services in Bihar
As Bihar experiences rapid urbanization and economic growth, the demand for household shifting services has soared. Families and individuals are frequently relocating within the state, creating a need for diverse and specialized services that cater to the unique requirements of each move. This article explores the types of households shifting services in Bihar, shedding light on the range of options available to those embarking on the journey of changing residences.
1)Local Household Shifting: Within City Limits
Local household shifting services in Bihar are designed for individuals and families moving within the same city or nearby areas. Local movers understand the nuances of navigating urban landscapes, ensuring a swift and efficient relocation process. The emphasis is on minimizing travel time and optimizing the use of resources for a cost-effective and timely move with packers and movers in Begusarai.
Local household shifting services are ideal for those who are changing residences within the same locality or city, offering a tailored solution to meet the specific needs of short-distance moves.
2)Inter-City Relocation: Crossing Regional Borders
For individuals or families relocating from one city to another within Bihar, inter-city relocation services come into play. These services involve a more extensive planning process due to the increased distance and potential variations in regional regulations. Professional movers specializing in inter-city relocation ensure the safe and timely transportation of household goods across different cities in Bihar.
Inter-city relocation services encompass all aspects of the moving process, including packing, loading, transportation, unloading, and unpacking. Movers may also assist with documentation and permits required for transporting goods across regional borders.
3)Domestic Household Shifting: Moving Across States
When individuals or families are making a move from Bihar to another state in India, domestic household shifting services become essential. This type of relocation involves a more complex set of logistics, as it extends beyond state borders. Professional movers experienced in domestic shifting manage the intricacies of long-distance moves, ensuring that belongings reach their destination safely and on schedule for packers and movers in Darbhanga.
Tumblr media
Domestic household shifting services include meticulous planning, secure packing, efficient loading and unloading, and reliable transportation across state lines. These services often incorporate tracking systems to provide clients with real-time updates on the status of their belongings during transit.
4)International Relocation: Crossing National Boundaries
For those venturing beyond national borders, international relocation services become imperative. Bihar, being a part of a globalized world, sees a growing number of individuals and families moving to foreign destinations. International household shifting services involve intricate planning to navigate customs regulations, secure packing to withstand long-distance transportation, and coordination with international carriers.
Professional international movers facilitate the entire process, from obtaining necessary permits and documentation to ensuring compliance with destination country regulations. Packers and movers in Purnia also provide services such as storage, shipment tracking, and assistance with settling into the new country.
5)Corporate Relocation: Business Moves and Employee Transfers
Bihar's economic development has led to increased corporate activities, resulting in a rise in corporate relocations. Corporate household shifting services cater to businesses relocating offices, as well as employees being transferred to new locations. These services are designed to minimize disruption to business operations and ensure a smooth transition for employees of packers and movers in Katihar.
Corporate relocation services may include office furniture and equipment relocation, employee move management, and assistance with temporary housing. The focus is on efficiency and minimal downtime during the transition.
6)Specialized Shifting: Handling Unique Items with Care
Certain household items require specialized handling during the shifting process. This could include delicate artworks, valuable antiques, musical instruments, or even pets. Specialized household shifting services in Bihar cater to the unique needs of such items, providing tailored solutions to ensure their safe and secure transportation.
Movers specializing in handling unique items employ experts trained in the specific requirements of delicate or valuable belongings. They utilize specialized packing materials and techniques to safeguard items that demand extra care during the shifting process by packers and movers in Aurangabad Bihar.
Conclusion:
As Bihar witnesses a surge in residential relocations driven by urbanization and economic growth, the types of households shifting services available have become increasingly diverse and specialized. Whether it's a local move within city limits, an inter-city relocation, a domestic or international move, a corporate relocation, or the transportation of unique and valuable items, Bihar offers a comprehensive range of shifting services to cater to the unique needs of each relocation.
Understanding the types of households shifting services available allows individuals and families to make informed decisions based on the specific requirements of their move, ensuring a smooth and stress-free transition to a new home. The evolving landscape of household shifting services in Bihar reflects the state's dynamic growth and its residents' changing needs in the realm of relocation by packers and movers in Sasaram.

Where have the children gone? New survey focusses on Bihar’s education crisis
The report reveals government schools in Bihar stare at abysmal pupil attendance and severe teacher shortage.
Tumblr media
Shedding light on the dismal state of the schooling system in Bihar and the impact of the post-COVID crisis, a new survey report titled “Where Are the Kids?” was released in Patna on August 4. The report, conducted by Jan Jagran Shakti Sanghathan (JJSS) in January-February 2023, is based on a survey of 81 government primary and upper-primary schools in Katihar and Araria districts of Bihar.
The survey findings reveal a grim situation where none of the surveyed schools meet the norms of the Right to Education (RtE) Act. The attendance of pupils in these schools is shockingly low, with a meagre 20 per cent of children being present on the day of the survey. The majority of these students come from impoverished families and marginalised communities, exacerbating the educational disparities. Flourish logoA Flourish chart
One of the most significant issues plaguing the schooling system is the acute shortage of teachers. Only 35 per cent of primary schools and a mere 5 per cent of upper-primary schools meet the prescribed pupil-teacher ratio of one teacher per 30 children, as mandated by the RtE Act. Furthermore, during the survey, it was found that only 58 per cent of the appointed teachers were on duty, raising serious concerns about the commitment of the teaching workforce in government schools.
The report also highlights the adverse effects of the Direct Benefit Transfer (DBT) scheme for textbooks and uniforms on economically disadvantaged families. With limited financial resources, many poor families are forced to make a difficult choice between purchasing essential textbooks and uniforms or fulfilling basic necessities. As a result, numerous children are left without proper textbooks or uniforms. Additionally, it is worth noting that almost all teachers are against the DBT system for textbooks.
The COVID-19 crisis dealt a severe blow to the schooling system, leaving a lasting impact on the learning outcomes of students. According to the survey, a majority of teachers expressed concern that a significant number of children in Classes 1–5 had forgotten how to read and write by the time schools reopened last year. Despite this alarming situation, little to no measures have been taken to support these struggling students.
Moreover, the report raises alarm over the increasing prevalence of cheap and dingy tuition centres that threaten to displace government schools. The unhealthy environment of such tuition centres poses risks to children’s well-being and hinders their access to quality education.
Addressing this crisis requires urgent action from the authorities. The report suggests strict compliance with the RtE Act, which includes ensuring an adequate pupil-teacher ratio in all schools. Furthermore, providing eggs daily with the midday meal could help incentivise attendance and improve the nutritional status of students. A crucial step towards restoring government schools would be imposing a ban on tuitions during school hours to discourage the exodus of students to private tutoring centres.
The survey report underscores the need for immediate attention and comprehensive reforms in Bihar’s schooling system. It highlights successful models, such as UMS Chargharia, demonstrating that the revival of government schools is possible. Only through a concerted effort and a commitment to children’s education can the state hope to overcome the challenges and create a brighter future for its young learners.
