The Way HomeThis scene from Bar Harbor Maine is the first in a series of acrylic and gouache paintings in grayscale. It is based on my own photo from a past trip. There is something mysterious about black and white art that reminds me of film noir. It also feels like a valid way to express how it feels to emerge from the Covid era-a world without color. A world where something is missing. This b/w painting will be mounted on a color painting yet to be completed.

Do you like turn-based combat? Dragon quest is all turn-based combat
All mainline entries feel different from each other despite combat being mostly the same
A good starting point depends on what kind of vibe you prefer :0
There's also lots of spinoffs! Like the dragon quest monsters games, where you recruit monsters to fight other monsters and people's teams
In those games you can also fuse your monsters to create new stronger ones! It's pretty cool and intricate
Not a rating
Yeah I normally like turn based combat, as long as it isn't Digimon world dusk combat because God that was awful
Also fusing monsters Together??? Like that actually sounds amazing ngl
Anyways thank you for this!! I'll definitely do more research into the different games and see what one looks the best :))
