PetePorsche - 10/10

Adorable, amazing, brilliant, showstopping, spectacular! Best friend to lovers to soulmates for the win. Really pure ship. What else is there to say? Pete and Porsche will sneak away on little dates, mostly to eat and smoke. They will be partners in crime to all sorts of crazy ideas. Pete will definitely go and open a restaurant by the beach with Porsche. Pete and Chay will be best friends. Chay will also have to be the mom of the group because the other two morons don’t know what self preservation is. Pete’s grandma will be so happy that Pete has found such strong and beautiful boyfriend, she will start sending food to feed a small army claiming Porsche and Chay need to grow even stronger.

MacauChay - 7/10

Love them! I really do! But those little gremlins will kill each other if they date. I see why people ship them. They’re both from a broken family with only one brother to rely on. They’re both trapped in their circumstances and may find comfort and understanding in one another. They will absolutely hate each other at first, though.

ChanBig - 10/10

Did someone said Daddy Chan? I think we all saw that scene in ep1 and we collectively went - yep, they fuck. It’s the way Chan has all the power, the way Big doesn’t want to disappoint him. My daddy issues could never. It’s their power dynamic, it’s Big refusing to look at Chan’s eyes, it’s Chan being firm but gentle. I don’t need to say anything more, there are already amazingly slutty fanfics about them.

VegasTay - 10/10

This ship gets bonus points for the aesthetics alone, they are both gorgeously styled. I can see it happening as a one night stand. When Tay has finally had enough of Time’s bullshit, he goes to a club and sees Vegas there. Tay is ready to make some bad decisions. Vegas on the other hand has no idea what is happening, but one of Kinn’s best friends is flirting with him and he’ll be a fool to miss that opportunity. Vegas wrecks Tay’s world that night. Tay tells him he can leave marks. Vegas knows that his definition of “marks” is different from most so he controls himself. It will be so much more satisfying if Kinn’s friend does not regret this in the morning. Afterwards Tay tells the story of his shitty relationship and Vegas suggest murdering Time. Tay should have found that calm statement frightening, but he didn’t. He actually found it quite funny. Having his friend’s hot psycho cousin care more about his feelings than his actual boyfriend. Tay suggests doing that again, gathers his things and leaves. Vegas doesn’t know why he never told anybody about that night, maybe he forgot.

ArmKhun - 8/10

I’m taking points out because of the power imbalance and I’m giving points back because of the aesthetic. Diva Khun and Bodyguard Arm! Yes, give me more. The scene of them fighting the minor family with Arm’s car-bombs which were bedazzled in gems by Khun is what sealed the deal for me. They are an amazing team. Khun is such a fun and crazy character and I would like to see him in a more serious situation. What if he gets a gun pointed at him and goes into a ptsd episode while Arm has to be the best bodyguard and protect him but also later calm him down. The crack but also angst potential is astonishing.

KenBig - 6/10

Someone said they are the Mean Girls of KinnPorsche and it hasn’t left my mind since. Yes they are! Them just gossiping around and making everyone’s life miserable, love to see it. Don’t know if I can see them as something more serious than fuck buddies but I see the angst potential of both of them dying without knowing about what happened to the other.

ArmPorsche - 7/10

I’m seeing this starting as one sided love because notice how Arm looks at Porsche, that boy is in loooove! He was ready to go against his boss just to help Porsche. If Kinn was actually cheating on Porsche, those two boys would be game.

KinnPete - 6/10

Pretty sure this ship became famous after VegasPorsche left KinnPete in the dust in that alley. I can’t see this ship working, surprisingly because Kinn is a cinnamon roll when he’s in love and Pete is a psycho when he’s in love. But there is something really homoerotic about Kinn having trust issues and Pete being the only one he trust unconditionally. I can see it if the story takes a “dead dove do not eat” approach. With Porsche betraying Kinn and Kinn turning dark, and Vegas betraying Pete and Pete turning desperate.

okay, I'm here again. I'm lagging behind a little but I needed comprehension skills for starting this episode because my boys vegas and pete will be introduced.

Sometimes Ken misses the time when Big hated him, looked at him with sharp annoyance, a slight snarl on his lips, and rolled his eyes when Ken spoke. He misses looking at Big and thinking: I want to punch you, you fucker. Feeling furious was much easier than feeling invisible. Feeling not enough, never enough.

He wonders how it would feel to look at Big and not feel like his heart was slowly carved hollow, one glance at a time. How would it feel not to hear Big laughing and have the barbed wire wrapped around his insides tighten. Ken knows he is a sore loser, never mastered the art of being okay with not being first, and so it eats at him; the void in him grows and grows, and it hungers, and it wants, and Ken doesn't know how to soothe it. 

"Do you ever wish," he asks, rubbing a bite mark he left on Big's shoulder gently, as if he could erase it with his fingertips, "that you felt differently?"

"No," Big says, and if there was a light on, Ken thinks he could see the small, gentle smile on Big's face that nobody outside of their room ever sees. "I am happy just to be near him, to protect him."

Ken hums. He wishes it was enough for him.

It begins with Chan yelling at both of them for breaking the sacred rules of peace, "no fights between bodyguards", and being childish. It's Ken's second week on the job, and he has finally lost it and punched Big in the face. The pained whimper that Big had made before pulling a gun and aiming it at Ken's chest had been glorious.

"I will not have this," Chan's voice is snappy and cold, as his eyes throw daggers at both Big and Ken, "this is not a playground. I am giving you one last chance to fix this."

He walks them to Big's room, opens the door and waits for them to get inside, pushing Ken when he is too slow to move. 

"You have until Monday," Chan says, closes the door and then locks it. He adds through the now-closed door: "If you break the lock, I will know. If either of you dies, I'll kill the other too."

"But-" Big protests pointlessly, then shuts his mouth and turns to face Ken, scowling. There's a red mark on his face where Ken's knuckles met his skin, and it makes Ken gleeful. 

"Nice one," Ken says because Big does not know how not to show emotions on his face, and right now, he looks like one of those small, angry dogs that old ladies put in their handbags. 

"Fucking great," Big says, kicking the door, "it's all your fault."

"No, mate, that's all you for being such a dick."

It's funny to watch Big reaching for his gun, only to realize that it's not there, that Chan didn't give it back. 

"Well," Ken says, because he doesn't actually want to die, and he can see Big eyeing a collection of knives on his wall, "give me a tour. Are we sharing a bed?" 

He winks, changing his mind because getting stabbed might be worth seeing Big all flustered. And then, because Big is no fun at all, he sits down on the sofa, turning away from Ken.

By Saturday, Ken thinks getting shot by Chan might be a relief. It's not the multiple fights they have had in the past two days (although Ken's ribs feel bruised and sore, and his split lip burns). It is boredom. Someone, probably Arm by Chan's request, has turned off their access to the internet so they cannot watch anything on the TV, and they are not allowed to have phones or computers, and Big has nothing else in his room that is even remotely entertaining, so Ken is dying. He can feel the time moving agonizingly slowly. Every minute feels like an eternity, and Ken might just kill Big so Chan can end the misery.

"Shoot me," he says, from where he is lying on the carpet and staring at the ceiling.

"I wish," Big unexpectedly replies, and his voice has no heat in it. They have not talked to each other outside of insults. 

"How did humans survive without the internet," Ken wonders, not for the first time. "What did they do all day?"

"Fuck if I know," apparently, they are talking now. 

Except Ken doesn't know what to say, they are not friends and have nothing in common. None of Chan's bodyguard lessons or videos included the "How to talk with your annoying coworker" tutorial.

"My grandparents play board games," Big breaks the silence. "Not that I have any."

Ken sighs, his eyes travelling down the shelf across him, full of Big's stuff. They stop at a bottle of whiskey.

"Or," he says, grinning, "we could get drunk."

"I love you, man," Ken is wheezing with laughter hours, days, or weeks later when they have emptied two bottles of whiskey and popped open a random champagne bottle.

Big is grinning on the sofa next to him. He's wearing a stupid "I <3 New York" shirt that makes Ken giggle even more. 

"That's it," Big finally slurs, looking pleased, "that's how I got the job."

"Fucking legend," Ken says, and he would clap Big on the shoulder if his arms cooperated a bit better. "If I were you, I'd sleep with my eyes open."

Big makes an agreeing noise. "I did, for like a year. He still might kill me."

From what Ken has heard about Khun Vegas in the two weeks he has been in the main family's house, he really might. 

"You'll die a hero," Ken says, looking at Big and bursting into laughter again. 

Big is fucking awesome.

Ken doesn't know who is more surprised that they both make it out alive by Monday morning, them or Chan. Or maybe it's that Ken is teaching Big how to do a backflip, and they are laughing when he opens the door. The eyebrow rise speaks volumes. 

Ken moves in with Big on Wednesday.

Ken doesn't know when things change again; there is no whiskey this time. He's used to having Big by his side, used to having Big's back during the missions; within a year, he has learned every Big's strength and weakness, he knows where to cover for him, where to let Big balance out Ken's shortcomings. They quickly go from "Big" and "Ken" to "Big and Ken". Chan takes them on missions together or not at all, and they quickly become Khun Kinn's favourites, trailing him every step he takes outside the mansion. Ken is used to it, even to the ugly parts of it, the parts where Big gets hurt and Ken worries, or parts where Ken gets injured and feels ashamed of not doing better.

It shifts, and it's a sudden, terrifying realization, and the implication of it creeps up Ken's spine like a poison ivy. It's the moment when Big enters their room, eyes wet, face bruised, red, angry finger marks on his cheek, right after he has told Ken he must tell Kinn about his suspicions of Tawan. It's the moment when Big swallows a sob as he slides down the wall, shaking and trying not to cry openly, and Ken thinks I will fucking kill Kinn that it hits him right in the solar plexus and takes his breath away.

"Big," Ken says, and his voice trembles; he feels a little untethered and a lot like the ground beneath him is moving, shifting, falling open.

"He," Big whispers, and the despair in his voice makes Ken sick, "he didn't believe me."

Ken wants to say something, anything, but his voice is drowning; he is drowning. I'm in love with you, he thinks, and the thought is like a match, setting his insides on fire, blazing its way into Ken's stomach, settling in his bones, burning.

"Fuck," he finally says, mumbles, desperate to regain some control.

"What if he dies?" Big asks as he starts weeping, trying to hold his sobs, pressing the back of his palm against his mouth, and Ken feels like someone is slicing his chest open.

"It will be okay," he says because he wants Big to stop crying and fix this somehow; he wants Big to smile and laugh about Ken's dumb jokes. "We will figure it out. I have your back, remember?"

Big nods and tries to smile through tears. Ken reaches an arm out, and Big takes it and lets Ken pull him up. Ken's skin burns under his touch.

The first time it happens, they are drunk again. They are celebrating a mission gone well. Big cannot stop grinning because Kinn had praised and promoted him to the head of his bodyguards. He looks so happy. Something ugly warms its way into Ken's bones, and yet he cannot stop grinning back.

Big leans and kisses him. It's soft and warm and nothing like kissing anyone Ken has kissed before. The gentle nip on Ken's bottom lip feels like salvation.

Big pulls away and gets up, then reaches for Ken's hand, still smiling. Their fingers lock together, and Ken thinks that for someone more used to holding a gun than anyone's hand, he could get used to it. 

He doesn't care that Big turns off the light, the soft and sweaty heat of his body, the tiny whimpers, squirming, twisting and writhing, all of it outweighs the way Big murmurs and pleads Kinn's name, between the shaky breaths, it almost sounds like Ken's.

It happens again and again and again. It messes with Ken's head; he gets more irritable and sulky; something inside him wants to claw its way out, and it scares him. He looks at Kinn sometimes and forgets his job. He looks at Kinn and wonders how it would feel to tear him apart and have Kinn's blood on his hands, slimy and thick. 

He knows it would kill Big, so he stands between Kinn and a knife, between Kinn and a bullet, and between Kinn and the world trying to kill him. He smiles when Big hugs him after another well-done mission and swallows bitter bile when Big's eyes still follow Kinn.

"He will never belong to you," Vegas whispers, tempting, "while Kinn is alive."

Ken gives in.

If there were a kinnporsche season 2, what would you have included in the season bingo cards?

Bingo points because cards won't take all the shit I have to say

Antagonist Porsche. I didn't say villain because he's in the midst of murderers and horrible people. How much more worse can he be? But seeing as the show's mains from season one were Kinn and Porsche, I see Porsche shifting from protagonist to the person who stands in opposition to Kinn's goals. Because Kinn's goals are his father's goals and by the end of season one, Porsche had a gun to Korn's head. Porsche is not going to forget that. Especially considering he has access to minor family wealth AND Vegas (who also saw his father get shot by Korn). Which leads me to...

Vegas isn't going anywhere. I know we want Vegas and Pete to go find their happy ending, but they ended season 1 in the main family mansion hospital. The same place where Kinn stayed in episode 7 when he was shot. Vegas isn't going to run away from Korn. Especially since he knows (through finding out about Porsche's parents) that running away will never work. Korn will find him eventually and kill or punish him like Nampheung. Vegas wants vengeance for his wretched father and he knows running won't work so... Antagonist Number 2.

Kinn tries to save his relationship by buying Porsche a beachside getaway. In Episode 13, while Porsche was hesitant, while he was planning his escape, Kinn noticed that something was wrong. He's always been in tune with how Porsche feels. Even in ep3, he immediately knew Porsche was uncomfortable with the violence and asked Pete to take him out. Kinn will know something is up with Porsche. This time, Porsche would be more careful about his revenge and about destroying Korn. So it might be hard for Kinn to put his finger on what's wrong. But he will know something is wrong. His solution would be to buy Porsche that beachside bar in order to fix their relationship. Spoiler: it won't work but he'll get beachside sex that's incredibly cinematic with awesome audio.

Pete will have an episode. During a mission, or when watching someone get tortured, or anything. One day, he'll be fine one second and then he'll crumble the next. If this was real life (or unironically, fanfic) Pete would get REPEATEDLY triggered by Vegas' presence. Even when Vegas is trying to do something nice, he will be drawn back to the safehouse. This man was suicidal. That's not just something you walk off because your oppressor started smiling more. I see Pete going to therapy. I see him fighting to get back to his original self. It's impossible, but he doesn't stop trying.

Kim (as I've heard from novel readers) becomes obsessed with Chay. At first, it's social media stalking, but soon, it becomes physical stalking where he follows Chay around in the name of "protecting" him. He gets pretty invasive to the point that he has copies of Chay's keys, and has met with a bunch of Chay's classmates behind his back. Chay/Code is still a kid so I don't think BOC would put him in a precarious situation of following the novel entirely considering how hard Barcode took the break up scene. I doubt they'd go as far as including Kim's sexual assault. But I do think Kim would physically hurt Chay to control him. Something like grabbing his arm to pull him out of somewhere the way he did at that club. He might not even mean to hurt Chay but he would. ---- ALSO ---- Kim, while continuing his research into his family, will discover that Nampheung is still alive and he will take her from the mansion. He'll try to use her as leverage against Korn and will get whatever he wants because Korn wants her back. The thing is, till now, we don't even know what Kim wants or why he was investigating his father in the first place. But we know he wants something. We know he has the heart to kidnap Nampheung as much as his father does. That woman has the potential to be our very own most wanted mcguffin.

Chay takes fight lessons. They don't really work, but he does learn one move. Only one move. This one move is the thing that saves him in an emergency. And that emergency is the first time he gets the move right. He starts a singing career online that spirals into mini-stardom. It becomes a whole thing where their high school asks him to collaboration with their alumni-star Wik. Thus, Chay has to tolerate his ex for the sake of the collab. But don't worry too much about him. He's got that One Move in the bag.

Tankhun and Tem. Yes. Absolutely. Tem is going to fall in love with Tankhun and Tankhun is going to be so confused as to why this boy is suddenly everywhere. But, being the adopting father-figure, he takes Tem under his wing... until he realizes that Tem doesn't want to be tucked into a bed that Tankhun isn't in. (hihihihihihi)

Time and Tay will NOT break up. I know we've all prayed and casted and bound this relationship, but they are not going anywhere. They are as guaranteed as the sun rising in the morning. I don't even think Time will change. Tay has already tolerated EVERYTHING under the sun. What is he going to do now that will suddenly stick? Because I feel like he must have tried everything too. Time will just wait him out till he comes back. And we know Tay will come back. Tay will do everything except show himself some respect and Time knows this. Without Tem on the market, Time will find someone new to fixate on. Tay will get his heart broken again. But these two will stay together.

Someone... I don't know who... but someone will make a comment insinuating that Arm and Pol are running things on the side. It will never be outright, but the show will tease us with these two till eternity. They will leave clues about them being together, have dialogue that can only be understood in context of a secret relationship. But they will not make them canon, out rightly.

Ken and Big will show up in flashbacks. Because if Big was integral to Kim's plans, then that means he knows more about what Kim was doing than anyone. Big did for Kim what Pete did for Kinn. He was the one supplying him with information and doing half of the sleuthing. So if we're ever getting an inside of Kim's life, flashbacks of Big will be included. Same with Ken. Ken was the inside man who fed Vegas info. Once he died, Vegas couldn't get into the main mansion anymore. He had to have Porsche bring Pete OUT. Because Ken was dead. So... flashbacks will be included and Ken and Big shall return to grace our screens. :) (don't mind me. I just need a reason to have Nodt and Perth in the season)

Macau and Chay besties. We were robbed in season 1, but from what I heard from book readers, they were friends in the books. And on the show, they both go to the same school. SO, they know each other. I can imagine Chay moving into the minor mansion and realizing that this is the same home he's been having study time in with Macau. "Macau, are you mafia?" "Hehehe, nope!"

Jom will be our fish out of water in season 2. He will be the only one new to this whole mafia thing. Mr. Curious who will get in so much trouble trying to sneak into secure places in the minor mansion. He could even pretend to be a new recruit, after all with the tattoos and the way he dresses, he may as well be a minor family guard. With Porsche and Pete being too busy angsting over their problems, Jom will inherit the mantle of levity for the season.

Korn will die. I don't know who will kill him, but he will be so proud of that person because they would have played a good game and Korn would be getting a worthy successor.
