crying during succession again
#the scene where hes wrapped up in ghe blanket specifically#like i know exactly what it's like to be in that room with all your family and one of them is being so cruel in front of the rest#and you want to say something but everybody's just walking off now#and theres just that incredible tension and you all want to cry but you have to just keep lushing forward#kendall is always just pushing forwars#and thats why he keeps failing is he doesnt *really* have a reason#what he wants is to be loved by his father and he thinks if i cant have that i can remove him from the equation and replace him#but he just keeps getting confronted with how desparately he needs his father and his siblings#and they *keep fucking him over*#because *theyre* just pushing through too#like the surface tension of water but its just the lies everyone has strung together#if one person said something maybe that would break the cling and the whole thing would fall apart#but theyre all too scared when theyre sureounded by each other#and rhen his girlfriend holding him while hes wrapped up in the blanket#that feeling like a scream inside your chest#just utter hopelessness#every direction you look theres a block in the path#theres no way out except for. well. you know.#but he has kids and his partner and his ex wife#he cant#God. i have BEEN THERE!!!! FUCK!!!!!!#this show. i missed it
