If Obi Wan wounded and captured Maul
Obi Wan, staring at Maul, lying on an operating table unconscious: Look at this guy! He is covered in tatoos. He has them practically everywhere!
Obi Wan: *hesitates*
Obi Wan: *Lifts Maul's nightgown*
Obi Wan: He has them everywhere.

I just rewatched the Phantom Menace. Here are some thoughts:
+ Last time I watched it in English, this time in German. I was by no means prepared to have the Neimodian going “Hast du nen Knall?” (Eng: “Are you fucking insane?”). I laughed so hard.
+ German Jar Jar Binks is a little bit funny.
+ I said it in Clone Wars before the Jedi are really touchy and Qui-Gon really embodies that.
+ I always had the Jedi as really selfless and helpful in mind. Was kinda shocked that “fuck the council”-Qui-Gon gave so little fuck about the slaves.
+ Baby Anakin is so cute.
+ He mentions he wants to become a Jedi to free all slaves and I just realized he never got to do that.
+ The amulet he made for Padme reminded me composition wise of her funeral scene in the coffin and I’m not okay.
+ Qui-Gon mentions podraces on Malastare. Malastare is home planet to the Dugs. Sebulba is a Dug. That mf fucked off to Tattooine to do podraces, instead of his home planet. I personally think was too bad at podraces at Malastare.
+ At the podraces you can see Aurra Sing and someone who looks an awful lot like Fennec Shand.
+ I forgot how short Maul was without his prosthetics (especially compared to Liam Niesson lmao). I mean it makes sense for a stuntman to be short, so no hate to the actor, but he looks so much taller in CW.
+ The funeral scene is heart breaking. I don’t understand why Obi-Wan would put Anakin through that in CW.

Episode 1: On that day Obi Wan felt like Qui Gon turned his back on her. (I.e. a literal depiction of betrayal + fem Obi)

Bail took a deep breath. 'She's his sister. She is just as important to the galaxy as he is.' He shook Obi-wan by the shoulder. 'Anakin is gone. You did everything you could for him. It's time to let him go. It's time to be that person for his daughter. For my daughter.' Bail pressed a chit into Obi-wan's hand. 'Transport leaves in an hour.' Obi-wan lifted his incredulous gaze to Bail. 'I didn't want to leave you room to argue,' Bail said.
Obi-wan stared at the chit for several long moments. 'I just need a few things,' he murmured, mind spinning. He bent and brushed the still bacta-damp hair from Luke's forehead and pressed a kiss to it before he turned to leave.
Bail fell into step beside him, giving Obi-wan a pensive glance. 'It's gone far beyond mere protection, hasn't it?'
'Of course it has.' He swallowed hard. 'He's my son, just as much as Leia is your daughter.' Obi-wan strode into his suite and hefted a large knapsack to a table. He reached inside and gingerly withdrew a wooden box, wrapped in waxed canvas and oiled leather. With a slow inhalation, he flipped lid open, then folded back the fraying scrap of linen tucked around the two lightsabers nestled side-by-side in the box with shaking hands. He lifted the one he'd built after Geonosis from the box, the hilt heavy and awkward in his palm. A far cry from the days when it had been an extension of his arm. Even the kyber's thrum, once attuned to his heartbeat and the flow of the Force through him, felt sluggish. Obi-wan took in a deep breath, and tried to let his fears, his worries, and his doubts drift away, just like he used to. He hadn't used the Force in this manner in so long that he would need his wits about him. The Force that had once been a steadfast ally was now all but a stranger that dredged up painful memories. Meditation was one thing, it was a relatively passive activity. This sort of work required him to actively use the Force in a way he hadn't in years. He snatched the brown hooded robe from the bottom of the knapsack and muttered, 'Let's get this over with.'
