Three ships: Agreed on the Leverage OT3, always. Also, I'll never be over Leslie Knope and Ben Wyatt from Parks and Rec, and my newest ship is Kalluzeb (Alexsandr Kallus and Zeb Orrelios from Star Wars: Rebels). Although, @kcrabb88 is happily dragging me into ObiQuin with her great fics!

First ever ship: I'm sure there were others, but the first one I remember being really into was Joan Girardi and Adam Rove, from Joan of Arcadia. I wish that show made the "best shows cancelled after two seasons" poll going around!

Last song: Battle Cries, by The Amazing Devil

Last movie: Bend it Like Beckham! I know I've seen this movie many times, but I still forgot that *spoilers for an over 20-year-old movie* Jess kisses Joe at the end? Why?

Currently reading: Angels in America (the revised and complete edition). Katie and I saw a staging of Part One: Millennium Approaches, and it reminded me how much I love some of those monologues.

Currently watching: Ted Lasso! I know some people feel weird about this latest season, but I really like it--I feel like the writers are smart and really know what they're about. Just finished the second season of Schmigadoon/Schmicago, too, which was really fun.

Currently consuming: Popcorn

Sorry that this took forever!!! 😭 I think I had COVID for like three weeks so it was hard to be awake and active. I tested negative, but I truly believe it was a false negative at this point, but who knows 🤷

A joke I made watching this with my mom last night....

Welp, chapter 7 of Five Peggats Each has just crossed the threshold of Ten Thousand Fucking Words™, and I'm still writing a huge chunk of it.... Like... I can't even read it in one sitting anymore. -_- (For reference, the other chapters have been about 4k each.) I thought my million-word chapters were a thing of my past, but I guess they're slowly catching up to me.

So anyway, the point is I thought I was gonna be able to post it last weekend, but I couldn't so I'm sad. :( Thus, for my own self-indulgent enjoyment, have an excerpt. Why not :D

“Obi-Wan?” he whispers. Obi-Wan doesn’t stir.  Now that they're alone, now that he's firmly lodged in his body, Anakin allows himself to be sick with the idea that maybe he just got Obi-Wan killed. Anakin shimmies his hips as far as his shoulder will let him go, and he reaches out with his toes. His heel sinks into Obi-Wan’s mattress, but only the side of his boot brushes against the fabric of Obi-Wan’s trousers. “Obi-Wan?” he tries again. He hasn’t seen Obi-Wan breathe since the loader droid came. His chin is tucked against his unmoving chest, and his lips are grazing the top of the pool of water there. “Obi-Wan,” he hisses, and there’s no response. Anakin grunts as he tries to point his toes. The muscle of his foot strains, threatening to snap, but he pushes harder, harder, until he can jab Obi-Wan in the tendons of his bad knee.  Obi-Wan’s eyes fly open. A mangled whine shoots through his mouth, and he flinches away. Anakin gasps. He’s alive. Everything hurts, everything is sick and gross and awful, but Obi-Wan is alive.
