As Ain chased the trace of the El all the way to Altera, the Seed of Chaos was growing. This power of God that mutated before he even realized. The more he used this power, the more his body fell apart as if in protest, and Henir's influence became greater. But Ain believed he must use everything in his arsenal to complete the mission.

However, the longer he had to endure the pain, another thought started to invade his thoughts. Did he truly have to go through these lengths to complete his mission?

Ain sees countless Nasods being built only to be discarded by humans based on their need at Nasod Foundry.

He was just like them, created to complete the the mission, only to disappear after. Ain feels doubt towards his existence and despair and fear towards his future.

What shall he do? Feeling lost, Ain desperately chases after Elsword.

Even Elsword with his familiar aura was not able to calm his fears. Ain realizes once again that the Goddess is the only one who can take away his fears.

Ain leaves the El Search Party and heads to the Shrine of Dedication in Feita to reach the Goddess and confirm the meaning of his existence.

Once Ain arrived in Feita, he is shocked by the demonic energy surrounding Feita.

Even the path to the Shrine was swarming with demons, but Ain believe that all this chaos would wash away the moment he reaches the Goddess... Until he saw the El shard completely tainted by demonic energy.

'Even the El that I thought was solely the Goddess's can be corrupted by demonic energy...'

With his faith towards the Goddess shattered, nothing tied him down and Ain is completely swallowed by the large Seed of Chaos. There, he faced the core of chaos again. Covered in chaos, Ain no longer felt unstable from it.

At the end where everything is mixed together and scatters in silence, Ain realizes that everything must return to nothing. The mission given by the Goddess was also for beings that will eventually turn to nothing. He, who was created for such a mission, also had no meaning.

Ain abandons the Goddess and the mission that he trusted, and accepts the chaos that's been eating away at him.

When Ain comes out of Henir, his body begins to fall apart from the mutated power, and the overwhelming demonic energy, but that had no meaning any more.

The demons that blocked his way, the humans, all will face the same ending, becoming nothing.

Ain headed to the Underground Chapel to sort out his final thoughts on the Goddess.

HEADCANON.

Here me out. Kyo can sing. Like, actually sing. Been listening to Kenshi Yonezu (singer of CSM's Kick Back) for weeks now and I imagine that is how Kyo's singing voice would sound like (and yes I am aware that Kyo's va is a singer but his songs isn't my cup of tea but Kenshi Yonezu voice is too gorgeous and his songs are bangers!) And the only ones who knows his little secret is Shishou...and Hatsuharu.

Because occasionally after they (Kyo and Haru) finished their training early back in their middle school years, they'd spent a few short half hours at Shishou's, who was the one who bought the karaoke equipments because his beloved son has a beautiful voice pfft so the boys could release some stress by rocking and screaming some death metal or something.

This idea came out because I have been listening to Jpop too much 🤣. I hate his sperm donor, but my headcanon was that Kyo's biological dad and his mum were in the entertainment industry, his dad was a producer or somewhat, and his mum was a singer. It's just something that came to my mind after seeing all those records at the sperm donor's house.

Maybe Kyo knew who his mother really was; an up and coming artiste, but never got her chance to rise up and be a star.

Or maybe he doesn't, but inherited his mother's talent for singing without him knowing.

Anyway my point is, in my brain Kyo is a great singer, and it is something that he was exceptionally good at that he didn't care to admit, even if that talent could have won him against Yuki (because Yuki is multitalented in a lot of other things, just not the things Kyo's good at, like cooking, and driving apparently 🤣. I am biased but Yuki has always been the smarter of the two so he wins on that part).

This is just one of many headcanon of mine that I wish I have time to do fanfics about. I have so many ideas that seemed interesting in my head, but not when putting into words. Grammar is my enemy.

Well, I first set up my tumblr account thanks to my friend Steph/@cringeyvanillamilk. And because she had a goofy, drink-themed name, I decided to base my own blog name on a drink. And I decided to name my blog after ramune, a popular drink in Japan, which is known for the little marbles used to seal the bottles~!

And my blog name is more specifically a ramune bottle that I was able to get the marble out of. So the marble was on the loose!

Hmmm... The thing about me is that I rarely find myself liking villainous characters. I can appreciate villains for the roles they play but I've never liked a villain, platonically or as a fictional crush. Although, looking back, I did feel drawn to a villain character back in the day (although since then he has been reformed to heroism).

Mahonia: What place, thing, activity inspires you most and how do you express yourself when it does?

I think one thing that really inspires me is music. Especially the work of Kenshi Yonezu. I've written up song and ship analysis with his songs and based a fic around one of his works. I honestly think some of my characterization of the Faust twins has also been affected by Yonezu's music (and there will be some elaboration on that another day). Honestly, the stories and messages he conveys through his music really get to me. I feel inspired when I listen to his songs. Sometimes for better (when I actually write stuff down) or worse (when I just brainrot with the songs in my head/lh).

obv i had to put a shinee album in here somewhere… so hard to pick but i went w their first one bc it’s the most ~timeless~ despite the clear retro-y sounds.. the past few years i find myself coming back to it a lot even when i think some songs on different albums are a lot stronger. who else (in korea) in the last 10 yrs has been putting out debut albums like this? no one

yoga lin - fiction - 2012

i started listening to this album in 2014-2016? not sure exactly, but it’s had a grip on me ever since. the range between tracks is so good, and 浪费 (unrequited) and 傻子 (fool) are two of my songs of all time. this was only solidified when i finally got to see him in concert a month ago - really artistic and beautiful and so so cathartic to have the whole audience sing along together for like every other song :,)

kenshi yonezu - stray sheep - 2020

i don’t have a v deep backstory for this one or whatever tbh… adding this one in here for a little more genre variety but also i do rly like his music. i heard lemon in 2019, got obsessed w it, and then started listening to his discography in like 2020 after the pandemic started and i needed more upbeat music i didn’t understand to listen to while working. the vibes in his songs are always gr9 and also great driving music

hua chenyu - new world - 2020

found huahua some time in 2020 as part of my newfound chinese renaissance exploration or whatever haha. before then i wasn’t very familiar w a lot of chinese music beyond a handful of more famous artists, bc i didn’t Grow Up listening to that in my household and i didn’t have a great idea of where to explore online apart from youtube, but i found this album on spotify and became even more obsessed when i started watching all his tv performances. some people don’t rly like him bc of his ~scandal~ w zhang bichen which i understand n agree w to some extent but artistically he is really special and i’m always blown away by his live performances even tho i watch through a screen. he’s like kind of a crazy artist and i respect the way he channels it so much. his music is so good and this album was like, part of a Shift for me! wao

jonghyun - the collection story op. 2 - 2017

putting this one last bc it’s the most significant to me. i can’t listen to poet | artist often but i come back to this album more frequently. comforting and feels like a hug. and i’m always, always grateful that i was in seoul in summer 2017 and was able to go to two of his final solo concerts in july and see these songs live. 덕분에 내 평생이 따뜻해 💙
