The story tells how 9 people, on New Year's Eve, broke into the house of a happy family and killed the wife, leaving the husband alive but ruining his life. The guy decides to take revenge on these people and someone helps him with this.

That Time I was on Adventuring Academy

Ok it's a clickbaity title but I've been thinking a lot about where I was in this moment, and who I am now, and what an ENORMOUS difference there is, a verifiably ocean between moments.

We can get the obvious differences out of the way like:

my name

my gender

my camera situation

all of which have improved drastically I must say.

When I was asked to do this I had published my first game supplement ever, Neverland: The Impossible Island. And I LOVE it still. For what it is, it was a killer first project. A fully playable D&D setting for JM Barrie's Peter Pan setting, Neverland. Concept and execution, I did a pretty decent job.

Gang, I was SHITTING myself during this entire interview. And I don't really even mean just because Brennan was someone influential to me, someone I didn't know at all at this point, but I was new to interviews and being on a public platform too. I was even still new as a performer, which I would confidently say is my strong suit now. I was being held together by adrenaline. Now, it's kind of hard for me to watch myself stumble through that. I've come like...an exceptionally long way since then.

And I have more to say now than I did then. Brennan introduces me so kindly as a game designer but truthfully I wasn't yet! I had written a module for D&D, and that's all. Fine, and fun, and I did a good job - but I've learned so much and experienced so much and I have so much knowledge and love and feral, unabashed passion for games now that I wish I could tell this past version of me about. I get to share that now, every single week, on One Shot - introducing people to new games and beautiful artists.

What I care about in this industry has also grown and shifted. Back then I was still fighting my way through the horde of misogynists to create space as a seemingly feminine person in the hobby by getting my mits all over their favorite franchise (D&D).

Now, I want us free from corporate fast food games, I want people to see the magnificent iceberg of art and exploration and humanity that games have that we can experience. I want designers who are paid to create their own art, not serving a corporation's image for pennies. I want to radicalize this hobby against the colonialism and transphobia and imperialism that snuck into all it's roots.

Anyway I'm SO proud of who I've become and where this moment has led me and for how far away it seems. I've lived and I have grown and I've become someone I'm even more proud of.

((oh and one final aside - this was one of the most professional experiences I ever had, from not just Brennan but everyone who set things up behind the scenes. That also taught me a lot about what was acceptable and what was not, going into future, often less good, interviews. ))

'When Cillian Murphy took to the podium during Sunday night’s Golden Globes, his nose smudged in his wife’s lipstick, it was as if a door had opened on this Hollywood Neverland and an ambassador for the real world had stepped through.

Accepting the Best Actor in a Drama award for Oppenheimer, Murphy wasn’t so much un-starry as stonkingly everyday. Here was a normal person who had somehow beamed into peak Tinseltown and, if pleased, was also clearly a bit perplexed by it all.

The Oppenheimer win has made Murphy a frontrunner for the Oscars. In all likelihood, he will be up against a creepy Barry Keoghan in Saltburn, an overblown Bradley Cooper in Maestro, and a fervent Leonard DiCaprio in Killers of the Flower Moon. With the arguable exception of the grandstanding Cooper, all would be worthy winners. And yet, underdogs everywhere will be cheering for Murphy. He’s spent the past 20 years negotiating Hollywood on his own terms and has rejected Tinseltown’s showiness in favour of staying grounded and playing the long game.

Murphy always wanted to be an actor rather than a star. Such a choice could easily have condemned him to a lifetime of supporting roles. Or a hiatus in TV, to which he seemed exiled when he settled in for a long run as Tommy Shelby in Birmingham noir Peaky Blinders.

But his decision to turn away from flashy parts has proved inspired. He is that rarest of things: an experienced A-list actor who comes to the Oscars without baggage. Unlike DiCaprio, he hasn’t had to overcome a past life as a teen pin-up. Nor does he have to justify a lucrative stint in comic book films, as Cooper has with his time as Rocket Racoon in Guardians of the Galaxy.

Above all, Murphy goes into Oscar season as an antidote to the “look at me!” culture of the social media era. In an age when fame is regarded as the ultimate commodity – more important than awards or critical acclaim – Murphy would rather let his work speak for itself. He lives humbly in suburban Dublin with his wife and two children – and his great passion outside of acting is music, as demonstrated by his semi-regular presenting slot on BBC 6 Music.

That’s lifetimes removed from Hollywood, with its self-mythologising and turbo-charged fakeness. It is also of a piece with his career since he broke through playing a survivor of the zombie apocalypse in Danny Boyle’s 28 Days Later. Ever since, he has chosen his jobs thoughtfully. In so doing, he has assembled a body of work of which he can be proud.

He hasn’t been above popcorn. He was a memorable villain in Christopher Nolan’s Batman Begins, where he played the Scarecrow as a trippy nightmare. But even when shooting for the box office, Murphy has been studiedly un-starry. Careful to keep his ego in check, he’s often happy in an ensemble – hugging the background in A Quiet Place II and settling for an extended cameo in Nolan’s Dunkirk, where he was content to let Harry Styles and Tom Hardy hog the spotlight.

Hog it they did – yet it was Murphy who proved to be in it for the long road. Because he could go into Oppenheimer without a Hollywood aura, he disappeared into the role. If hardly obscure, he nonetheless assimilated fully into the part. Throughout that film, you were aware of its stars. Florence Pugh and Emily Blunt doing their best with under-written female characters. Robert Downey Jr trying to pretend he hadn’t spent a decade as Iron Man.

Murphy, by contrast, split the acting atom. He vanished into Oppenheimer with a performance that exuded humility and sincerity. Bookies have now installed him as a favourite for the Best Actor Oscar. If he wins, it would be a victory for knowing who you are and what you stand for and believing good work has value beyond short-term acclaim. Above all, his success shows that it is possible to stay grounded while scaling Hollywood’s giddiest heights.'

Well, going off my loose interpretation of cannon…bloodshed, probably

Harriet would have the biggest grudge since Peter Pan was basically the catalyst for the Hook family’s long history of bad shit happening to them (and might be old enough to remember some of it) she would chase Peter down and finish the job her father started by gutting him like a fish and taking his entrails as a trophy- anyone who gets in her way is just collateral

Harry’s just plain nuts, he would be the one to gamefy the hunting. He’d probably flirt with Wendy a little bit and tease her, but he wouldn’t maim her…the lost boys however, fair game, if they get within sword range, they’re getting sliced. Harry’s violent, but more so because he thinks it’s fun- he was raised by pirates after all. The only reason I think he would go fully off the rails with the bloodshed is if one of the lost boys went for his sisters, then he’s a worse version of Harriet

CJ’s like Harry, but she’s never been overtly violent- she’s chaotic, not a killer. CJ would chase but she wouldn’t maim. Most likely, she’d be the one looting and vandalizing, maybe burning. Peter Pan has a lot of treasure stolen from Captain Hook, she’d be the one to reclaim it…and then some. CJ would only get violent if she were cornered and her siblings weren’t close by, even then, she’d only disarm

Jeon Soyeon - Alpha Vampire

Jeon Soyeon is one of the most feared and formidable Alpha Vampires in the sisterhood. Nobody has ever dared challenge her nor came victorious over her. As the Alpha of Clan Neverland, she is the one in charge being the eldest and wisest of the members being over 800 years old. If you think you can sneak past her without her knowing... You are dead wrong. Soyeon has sharp Vampire senses and knows everything that goes on in her clan and her environment. It's her job as the Alpha to be the one who makes the decisions and ensures all their human kiddies are well treated and happy in her domain. She will not hesitate to draw blood if necessary.

Cho Miyeon - The Enforcer

She's the closest and most trustworthy of Lady Soyeon thus entrusting her to be the Enforcer after years of working with her. Cho Miyeon is seen as the most formidable parenting figure in the clan and will teach their children some manners if they misbehave but she knows raising human children isn't easy and takes patience. Her job is to make sure the children and her sisters are in check and whenever they must go out, she stays behind to watch over their kiddies it's an awe of sight to see how she can manage six kids at once without her sister's help.

Minnie - Blood Sister

The Thai Sister Vampire is known for them to be the most protective and loyal out of all kingdoms. Nicha Yontararak but most call her Minnie, she is business-minded and knows how to make a good bargain and protect the interests of both parties. She is in charge of teaching and schooling the Neverlands clan's children good manners and basic knowledge. She always ensures that each of them understands the subject and will jump to help if needed. Nevertheless, she enjoys her duties as seeing the children's innocent smiles warms her cold heart and soul.

Seo Soojin - Blood Sister

Another blood sister of the Neverland clan, Seo Soojin is in charge of helping Yuqi scout for dangerous and endangered orphans in the streets and territory of Clan Neverland and helps wherever she can. She'll even take Miyeon's shifts of babysitting so she can take a break as Vampires have their mental and physical limits as well. But looks can be often deceiving... She may be elegant and beautiful but that would instantly turn the impression of a cold-blooded killer and knows how to make people disappear if they dare mess with the clan.

Song Yuqi - The Scout Vampire

Song Yuqi is the quickest of them all and thinks on her feet in tight situations. In the field, she often encounters dangers from Vampire Hunters and other rogue Vampires that may be lurking in her clan's territory and reports the danger to Lady Soyeon before taking action. Stealthy and quiet, there is an unlikely chance you'll even see her as she knows how to blend in with her environment and you won't see it coming if you are ambushed.

Yeh Shuhua - The Youngest Blood

Yeh Shuhua, is the youngest blood sister of the clan but she plays her part as much as her older sisters. However, there is more grunt work as she cleans and tends to the house chores, making sure their children do not cause trouble or any ruckuses in their home but she does it all with grace. What Lady Soyeon is most impressed with is her ability to quickly resolve conflict if their children fight for whatever reason it may be and be a formidable mother figure so their children may grow for a brighter future. But the youngest sisters are often the deadliest as they do not hold back against their enemies and will even finish them off whether or not they are unarmed.

random question, what are your top five favorite regina looks in the entirety of ouat?

Oh my goodness where to begin?! I've done a similar list for Evil Queen looks so I'll list strictly Regina (Mayor) Mills looks. Other wise we'll be here for an eternity (because lord knows how good Regina looks in every dammed thing she puts on).

So let's begin at number 5. I simply cannot create a list of fave Regina outfits without paying tribute to season 3 blue blazer Neverland Regina. That silk blouse underneath, coupled with her "I'm so done with everyone's crap" attitude...*chefs kiss*

Next up at number 4 (while on the topic of silk blouses), we have Regina in a silk blouse with a little side boob coming for us 😏 I just love how little she tried to cover that up.

Next up at 3 is this spiffy little number she wore in season 6. Regina in any hint of red deserves a spot on this top 5 but I think this one takes the cake. I mean just look at how perfect she looks???

At number 2, we have Regina echoing Emma in this lovely yellow trench. Not to mention the way it matches her umbrella. And the fact that she wears this after Emma reveals she likes the colour...coincidence? I think not. This whole look just brings out the doe-eyed lil' bean that Regina truly is. I mean just look at how she looks at Emma here😭

And finally at number 1, we have what I consider the sexiest outfit Regina (mayor) has ever worn (please don't attack me I just love it so much). This dress made me the raging homosexual I am today. I saw her wearing this and immediately questioned my sexuality.

Now I'm SURE I'm missing some killer outfits because like I said, Regina could make my knees weak in quite literally anything she puts on, but these are some of my faves and the first ones that come to mind!!
