heartless nobody
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: roxas x gn!reader (+xion)
summary: feelings like love should be impossible for a nobody like yourself and yet you fell in love with roxas...
a/n: absolutely no hate to roxas × xion! i love both of these characters so much (together & seperately) <3
Tumblr media
you should've know roxas would be with her.
today should've been the day where you finally confess to roxas. you had thought about it so much, thought about what you'd say or do when you stood in front of him. but instead of you, xion was the one with roxas, smiling and laughing with him, despite being a nobody.
feelings like happiness and love shouldn't be possible for nobody's like yourself. and yet, roxas was the one who had made you feel love, while xion was the one who first made roxas feel happy. you should've known you couldn’t compare to her. there was something between roxas and xion that you just couldn't compete with.
before the two noticed you, you slowly took a few steps back and turned around. you didn't need to stay and watch them. as you retreated to your room, you could feel your chest ache, as you thought about the two of them. if you didn't know any better, you'd say your heart was breaking. but a nobody like you didn't even have something like a heart…

You can do that correct?
Tumblr media
Text: If you wish to save her, to save all of Fontaine, all you have to do is kill me. That shouldn't be too hard for the former Graceful Assassin, correct?
Small writing piece underneath cut:
I open up up my eyes drearily and slowly, not entirely aware of what is happening besides the fact I feel lighter than normal, but when I do I'm met with a sight I didn't expect. I'm back in the Opera House, but the reason I'm feeling lighter is because it's filled with water?! Even more worrying, there's piles of bones on all the seats and all of a sudden I'm praying this is a dream.
"Hello?! Anybody there?!" I ask as best as I can with the water muffling my words, but despite no one hearing, I do see someone, Furina sitting on her usual seat and despite the room being filled with water I can see her tears.
With that I do my best to swim over to her. I've never been a good swimmer, not helped by my left leg not being as strong as it used to me, and this is a probably a dream, but if there's even the slightest chance this is real I have to get over. I've only formally met Lady Furina today but I can tell underneath the theatrics she's incredibly caring yet hiding something, and I want to try help her with whatever it is.
After what feels like an eternity, I finally make it over to Furina however as I reach out to her I find myself instead on the stage, which is miraculously dry, and on there with me is a woman who looks like Furina but in simpler clothes yet a more divine aura for lack of a better term.
"Apologies if I startled you," she tells me as I stand up, "I wishes to speak with you and this is the only way I could do so."
"Understandable but, what in the world do you want to talk about?" I ask as I get ready to summon Divine Rose in case this goes wrong.
"I take it you've heard about the prophecy correct?," she explains as she walks over to me, "well, not only is it real, it's deadline is fast approaching, it won't be long until all of Fontaine is submerged and the whole continent becomes like this, with only Furina and non natives like you still standing."
"It... it's real," I mumble in surprise before regaining my composure, "why are you telling me this?"
"Because I have a plan to stop it, but I need your help," the other Furina tells me, "for the most part, I just need you to keep doing what you're doing, stay close to Furina to keep her safe, and doing what you please outside of that, however when the time comes and I call upon you again, I need you to kill me."
.......... What?
"I can tell you're confused, as well as concerned, so allow me to explain further," she continues, "the only way to save the Primordial Sea water from dissolving all of Fontaine's citizens, is for myself to die and my Divine Authority to return to it's rightful owner. For the past 500 years I've been gathering Indemnitium to do it myself, however the Prophecy is coming true sooner than expected and I don't have enough, so I require some assistance. The assistance of someone with power over death, like yourself."
"I'm following now but... who in the world are you?" I ask feeling more confused despite getting answers, as well as nervous because I didn't want to use my Nobody powers again.
"I'm Focalors," she answers- wait what?, "the Furina you know is merely pretending to be me. Before you get mad at her, I put her up to it, another key part my plan needs to work is for the Heavenly Principles to believe the prophecy has been fulfilled, and as such, needed an Archon to weep upon the throne. Furina was perfect, so I cursed her with immortality to fulfil this role in the performance, a roll she's been performing for 500 years."
"You.... left her with that for that long?," I ask as my confusion starts being replaced by anger, "and I doubt you let her tell anyone either."
"Correct, and as much as I didn't mean to hurt her, it was the only way," Focalors confirms, "however, one way or another, her performance is almost over, but if it's to reach a happy ending, I require your assistance. And so, if you wish to save her, to save all of Fontaine, all you have to do is kill me. That shouldn't be too hard for the former Graceful Assassin, correct?"
I end up standing there for a moment as I try to process all of this. Like I said I told myself I'd never use my Nobody powers again, and after that I'm hesitant to trust Focalors, but not only do I not want everyone in Fontaine dying, after hearing what Furina went through, I want to help her even more. I.... I was already too late to save Strelitzia, I'm not going to fail to save someone who needs me again!
"..... I'll do it," I agree after deciding, "I'll help you in your plan, but, how much longer until it's time?"
"Thank you, and I don't know exactly, but not much longer," Focalors replies with a grateful smile, "just try to be there for Furina until then, and remember, Celestia cannot hear about this, so don't. Tell. Anyone."
"Hey, hey you idiot, wake up." Ugh... what... was that? Blinking a bit to wake up, I look up and what I see is a fully dressed Elrena standing next to my bed.
"Finally," she tells me looking relieved but also annoyed, "you know despite how much you were crying you really didn't want to wake up."
Huh? I was... crying? I rub my eyes and that confirms they are wet, but, there's something already in my left hand, and it's.... a Dendro Vision?!
"Holy crap- Navia get in here you gotta see this!" Elrena shouts in shock and excitement, but I just keep staring at the Vision in shock before eventually smiling. Yesterday, I went into my meeting with Furina hoping to understand her better, and well, now I do, and now I know I have to play my part in this 'show' to help her.

Favorite Place (Roxas/Kairi drabble collection)
AO3 / FF.net
Ch. 1: Bracelet
The auburn-haired girl caught up to her friend walking down the usual path that led to their homes. It became a routine walking home together after school and they always looked forward to spending that time with each other.
“Here.”
Kairi suddenly reached out to grab Roxas’ arm and placed a small, string object in the palm of his hand.
“What’s this for?” He wondered.
“It’s a bracelet, dummy. See?”
The girl held up her own arm, pointing out the same bracelet resting around her wrist, which was already full of other multi-colored bracelets.
Roxas playfully rolled his eyes, “I know it’s a bracelet. I was just asking why you’re giving it to me.”
“Hey, it’s not just any kind of bracelet,” she pouted, gently shoving him with her shoulder. “It’s a friendship bracelet. I made it for you.”
Oh.
She actually took the time to make something for him. It wasn’t much but it was still something. That little thought alone made him glad to have her as his friend.
“Heh, well that’s pretty cool of you to do,” he smiled warmly, slipping the bracelet on his bare wrist. “Thanks.”

Requested by a friend
Hermod - Stress
Three more assignments, one more day to finish reading the book he borrowed, three more days to return the two from the library, six hours before he should be back in his room for the night, half an hour before they all went to grab food together, one more week before his favorite pen would officially be out of ink and would work even less than it did now, and he should really return Eraqus’ backpack -now- before he leaves it in his room and forgets about it and…
Hermod ran a hand through his hair and settled on the edge of his bed. For a moment, the wistful thought of tossing his satchel straight on the ground crossed his mind, before it was quickly pushed away. It slid effortlessly off his shoulder as he stood and moved to hang it on the back of his chair. Eraqus’ bag, which the owner had forgotten after class when he ran out of the room with Bragi, was set gently on his desk. It just always seemed like he had so much to do…even when he finished everything in a timely manner.
The assignments in particular were purely extracurricular, something that he had enough interest in to approach Master Odin and offer to investigate on his own. They were simple and written, but would still take him some time to finish. Two books that he had borrowed from the city library were due to be returned soon…but he still needed them as references and to fact check what he would submit. One book he borrowed from Odin himself was supposed to be returned even sooner, and he was barely three quarters of the way through it.
And that was saying nothing of the great lengths he took earlier in class to prevent his friends from getting themselves into trouble during one of the Master’s lectures. A soft, exhausted sigh escaped his lips and he placed his hands on the desk in front of him and leaned forward to look out the window. Scala’s brilliant warm light shone into his neatly kept room, something he would usually enjoy if his mind wasn’t racing. He really should open the window. The fresh air would be good for him. He leaned just a fraction more forward, reaching out to unlatch the window, when his chest bumped into something that wasn’t usually there. Right…the backpack.
Returning that really should have been his first priority. It took him no time at all to pick up the errant bag and swing it over his shoulder, crossing the room quickly. He opened the door perhaps too swiftly, though, judging by the startled look of a very surprised Eraqus currently holding his hand up to knock on the door.
“Hey!” he started sheepishly, “We wanted to go get some food a little early, and Vor said she knows a really great place.”
The look of absolute sincerity from Eraqus was enough to drive some of the stress from his shoulders, and he smiled back at his friend. Rolling the other boy’s belonging off of his shoulder, he held it out like a makeshift peace offering.
“Yeah, I’d think that’d be great.”

Dearly Beloved
Tumblr media
(( In which you both realize it is the little things that matter…))
Yozora always seemed as though he was sad. It was something you noticed about him when you’d first met.
The way his gaze would flit downwards whenever those around him would smile, or how he would shy away from physical contact with others—
To you, Yozora was a mess of melancholy and hopefulness. Two things that tended to contradict each other in at least, some aspects—
He was an enigma…
You could only hope, that one day, you may come to fully know him.
Until then, however—
You were more than happy to remain by his side…
Yozora glanced at you, slightly puzzled by your behavior.
It was unusual for you to be so quiet in his presence.
You tended to take the lead in things like small talk, which he found quite refreshing…
He’d always struggled with connecting with others, not that he didn’t wish to, but that there were very few who gave him that chance—
You, fortunately for him, had given him the opportunity to get to know you…
“What’s wrong?” He asked, glancing at you. “You’re rarely this quiet.”
You offered him a smile, your expression thoughtful.
“You noticed that?” You asked, your tone surprised. “I was just thinking…” You responded, your mind threatening to wander off once more.
Yozora remained quiet for a moment. He hoped he wasn’t over reaching, as he glanced down, and spoke—
“What were you thinking about? It must have been something interesting, given how quiet you were…”
You laugh a little, shaking your head. “I was thinking about you, actually..”
Yozora looked up at you, his expression surprised. “Me? You find me that interesting…?”
You nodded, smiling at him.
“What can I say…? I want to know you better… It seems like you know me pretty well, but I guess… I feel like I struggle to understand you…”
You sigh lightly, shaking your head. “It’s silly, right?”
Yozora’s lips quirked upwards into a smile, and he shook his head.
“No, it’s not… Actually, I feel the same way half the time. We both seem to be overthinking things.”
You laugh at that, your expression softening. “Yeah, I guess so.. Well, there’s one thing I’m sure of…”
Yozora glanced at you, his expression curious.
You smile, your gaze trailing off to the distance.
“You’re very dear to me…”
Yozora’s eyes widened momentarily, before he nodded, breathing out a sigh. He glanced at you, his lips quirked upwards.
“You too.”

little falling star
Kairi was born in Radiant Garden, but she does not know it. Raised in Destiny Islands, she knows this place more. Or: Kairi, and how she is and is not of Radiant Garden.
on ao3 here, or below the cut; wordcount: 570
She hates it, sometimes.
The dissonance. The difference. The choking feeling it has, sometimes.
Kairi is glad to have grown up in the Destiny Islands. She's glad that she was able to live there, safely, able to grow up with Sora and Riku and Selphie and Tidus and Waka. Glad she got that good education, glad she was always encouraged by her adoptive parents. Glad she had that safe place to live and stay in.
But it doesn't make her feelings and less strong.
Kairi was born in Radiant Garden, and lived there for the first four years of her life. She knows this, now, though she didn't know for a long while. Kairi was a part of a culture of an entirely different place -- even her name reflects the culture, the hard consonants and softer vowels that Radiant Garden favored for young girls when she was born, as Yuffie and Aerith had said. Kairi's got the reddish hair and pale blue-green eyes that are so common, pale freckled skin compared to the darker shades that everyone had on Destiny Islands.
Kairi hates that she has no connection to the culture and place and peoples that she belongs to. No one knew what world she was from, and she can't blame them for that, but she still wishes. Wishes she had been told the stories of Gaia and Lucrecia and Vincent and Rinoa, all the people of folklore and legends. Wishes she had been taught how to cook that same comfort food that Aerith and Tifa cook so often. Wishes she was from Radiant Garden in more than only name.
The worst part is when Sora or Riku ask her something about Radiant Garden -- well-meaningly, she knows, but it still cuts, even if she pretends it doesn't. I don't remember living there. She wants to tell them. I don't remember anything about it. I know less than either of you do.
(She wants to scream at them, sometimes. She doesn't. She just smiles, says nothing, and makes a paper star or two or ten until they talk about something else. Kairi had made a lot of paper stars. The jar on her desk is getting full of them.)
And there's nothing she can do. There's no real way to connect with that past of hers -- not with the Keyblade training, not with the looming threat of the Keyblade War on the horizon, not with the way that Kairi knows there will be danger, soon, and she has to prepare to be strong enough to survive. Not with the way that her roots are so firmly in Destiny Islands, now, the way that she cannot imagine living anything else.
Kairi, at the end of the day, is just. . . lost. Staring out her window. Making paper stars. Wondering about that past she won't ever get to go back to.
(Sometimes, when it's dark out and the stars are barely shining, she thinks that she hates Xehanort. Other times, she hates herself. For not remembering that past. For not wanting to remember. Is it so bad to cling to her life on Destiny Islands? Is it so bad to want to stay where she's safe, stay somewhere that she knows, rather than risk all the danger inherent in being a Keyblade Wielder?
Kairi doesn't know, and that -- that's what scares her the most.
At the end of the day, Kairi is just. . . lost.)

Alrighty folks, I'm going to open my inbox only to a specific type of requests for a little while. Here's how it works-
You pick a kink from the list below, you send me a request with the character (characters, when applicable) and kink you want (name and/or number plz plus who's giving/receiving when applicable) and I'll write a short drabble based on it. This is basically just a fun way for me to get to write short fun stuff without sweating about larger projects (especially since I have commissions and such to put my actual energy into lol)
Please remember that all my other rules and preferences still apply- remember to include your preferred gender/gender identity for the Reader-insert if you have one, since if not included, I'll default to AFAB and/or fem.
As always, if I don't get to yours, there are a lot of reasons for that and you're going to have to live with it somehow- but I'll try to get to as many as I can!
And one last reminder: fandoms-wise, at the moment, I'm here for Fire Emblem, Genshin Impact, Kingdom Hearts, Jojo's Bizarre Adventure, and I might take a prompt or two for Stardew Valley and Rune Factory 5 (I know these two a bit less but there are a handful of characters I'd be thrilled to write for!)
Kink list below:

body worship
double penetration
car sex
office sex

overstimulation
dry humping
tied up/shibari

The day dies as his life dawns, and with that dawn, the moon rises in a dark sky filled without thousands of shimmering stars. With thousands of worlds appearing to welcome him into life, into existence, into the new form he’s now come to take.

“You don’t feel like you’re welcome here?”
Kairi quickly shakes her head. “The three of you are like a family,” she explains. She isn’t looking at him. “I don’t know. I just feel like I’m… Interrupting you?”
Oh. So that’s what’s up.
“Kairi…” Ven sits down next to her. “You’re not disturbing us. In fact, we like having you here.” And he would love to decorate the tree alongside her, but perhaps this isn’t the best time to say that. She might think he’s only saying it to make her feel better.
“I… Think I get your sentiment somewhat though.”

I can fix him, probably
Tumblr media
KH X GI AU: A rough summary of how their first meeting went down-
Below the cut, a slightly more serious drabble about this.
Of all the things I expected when I agreed to get those artifacts for Lady Kokomi, finding a different set telling the story of someone who's story sounds a lot like what mine would've turned out like if Roxas and Axel hadn't befriending me somehow only comes second on the weird surprises scale, the first being the fact that right after I read said story I got attacked by a boy about my height with purple hair and a really big hat. He also has lightning powers that could give Larxene a run for her money so I am very grateful that I am not a slouch in a fight because aside from one pretty bad hit he got on my cheek at the start the fight's been more or less even.
I can tell he's starting to get tired though, so I quickly summon Forget Me Not and go for a big slash, and while he mostly dodges it does knock him back onto the floor, so I quickly point the end of my Keyblade at his throat before he can try anything again.
"!! Hmph, not bad," he reluctantly admits, "not even a Vision in sight yet you managed to knock me down. Not sure if I should call you brave or stupid for doing that but it clearly worked. Who the hell are you?"
"Xion, and you aren't half bad yourself. Now, mind if I ask who you are and why you attacked me?" I fire back as I get a better look at my opponent. His clothes look standard enough for Inazuma albeit really well made, but what really catches my attention are his elbows. They're ball joints. Is... is he a puppet like me?
"My name isn't your concern, though if you want something to call me just stick with Balladeer," he replies sounding awfully smug for someone being held at Keyblade point, "and I was just trying to get my shit back but you got your hands on it."
"Awfully violent for something you could've just asked for," I tell him as I realise something, "but wait, these things, they're yours?" With that I put the golden set I found alongside Lady Kokomi's on the ground in front of him.
"Yup, that's it." He confirms and I resist the urge to drop my Keyblade. The person from the artifacts, the one who almost had me crying over what happened, they're still alive?! And... honestly a bit of a brat but honestly after everything I can't really blame them. Still, by what I heard after his friends betrayed him he found himself in really bad company so now I wanna do what I can to get him a better influence, like my friends were for me.
"Hello! Earth to Xion, you've been staring at me like a dead goldfish!" Balladeer shouts snapping me out of my thoughts as he puts his hat back on.
"My bad, just realising some things," I apologise as I dismiss Forget Me Not and start forming a plan, "and I didn't realise these were yours, so you can have them back no problem, but you did attack me for flimsy reasons, so you owe me."
"Owe you-?! Ugh, tell me what it is and if it's not stupid I'll agree." Balladeer reluctantly agrees after sounding so flabbergasted.
"You, me, we're heading to my place and we're gonna talk more over Seasalt ice cream!" I tell him with a grin making him look shocked and confused.
"Seasalt- you know what I hate overly sweet things so maybe that will cancel it out," he sighs after processing that, "but how do I know this isn't a trap?"
"Well, ignoring the fact I just met you and wouldn't have the time to arrange one," I tell him with a slightly smaller but still hopefully warm smile, "from one puppet to another, I promise I'm just here for a good time. Also taking down the Shogun but that's for another day."
"!! Ignoring your good taste in who to take out, you too?," Balladeer asks in surprise and when I nod to confirm he relaxes a little, "..... fine, I'll come, but only for an hour, after that I have a right to leave."
"Fine by me, let's go!" I agree as I grab Lady Kokomi's artifacts as we exit the domain. I may end up jinxing it, but I think this may be the start of a beautiful friendship.

Liz's Birthday Present (2022) 1 "Twisted Lore"
What if Kairi from Kingdom Hearts was the main character of Twisted Wonderland, as she ended up there looking for Sora post-KHIII? AU. Crossover fic. Drabble-y. Slight SoKai.
Twisted Lore
There definitely could have been worse things than being stuck at Night Raven College as their new janitor, Kairi thought, dodging the new ghosts in her dorm that seemed to be annoying Grim especially.
…Though she was still kind of annoyed that Crowley was making her clean, to earn her keep while she was here before she got sent back home, when it was partly his fault that she had gotten brought here in the first place. But it was what it was. And while she was working, Kairi thought that maybe she could look into clues about where Sora might be.
Because there was just something about this entire place that reminded the former Princess of some of the places that Sora had been to, or heard about himself, and then mentioned to her: The Dark Mirror in particular.
“I don’t like how you seem adamant on finding your friend Sora,” Grim complained. “You’re so focused on that, I feel like I’ll never become a student here.”
Kairi bit her lip at that; she had just told Grim her plan of trying to get Crowley to accept him with their working together—after they’d gotten rid of the ghosts through teamwork—and already he was doubting her? Though Kairi supposed she couldn’t blame him. It seemed like he had wanted this for a long time, and it was hard to feel like your dreams were dying. How long had she dreamed about staying with Sora once and for all, after all? And more and more, that whole idea felt like sand falling through her fingertips.
So, yes. Kairi thought she could understand Grim’s frustrations. So she promised herself she’d figure out how to get him what he wanted. Somehow, she’d get everything to connect, so this could all work out for everyone.
Walking out towards a lovely lawn—on perhaps the sunniest day that Kairi had ever seen—(a good omen perhaps?) Kairi noted that the students were practicing flying on brooms. And she only watched on wishing that that was her for just a second before she assured Grim, “I’ll get you to be a student here. Because you know what? Despite Crowley thinking I need to go home… I’ve realized I do want the kind of power taught here. Because that’s the kind of power to affect change.”
And Grim was too contrary to agree with her, Kairi knew. But the spark of emotion she thought she saw in his eyes seemed to tell her that he very much felt the same way.
And so, they continued on with their day and everything they needed to do.
Author's Note: So, you’ve probably noted that this is one of two Twisted Wonderland things I’ve made you. I wanted to make you something based on it, since you really love it. But I wasn’t sure either project would work out, so I started both, in case the other wouldn’t… But then both sort of did pan out, so you get both of them (I hope that’s okay). Yay! Also, this is sort of bare bones, since I’m still pretty early into the story, but I hope you can still enjoy it:) Happy birthday!

Luxord; "Unlikely"
Luxord - Unlikely
It was something that had always piqued his interest. A game of high stakes; win or lose at the flip of a coin, or at the turn of a card. A man made rich by good luck or made to lose everything by misfortune. He had seen many of the latter, far fewer of the former. But that is where the fun came in, was it not? A bet was hardly worth the coin if you knew the odds. Victory held a lot less savor when it was forced. No, he had always abided by the rules.
…not that the rest of the Organization ever shared his convictions on the subject. He could recall vague amusement (or as close as he could imagine it to be) as Axel or Xigbar or Larxene would try to upstage him at his own game. He would always catch them, of course. Not many things slipped past him during a game. But they were always trying to up their odds unfairly. Take a peak while he was shuffling, try to bend the rules if he wasn’t perfectly clear with them. Cheating, if he were to be completely frank. Something he wasn’t overly fond of.
Today, it was Larxene.
“Ugh, this game blows.” The cards in her hand dangled loosely from her grip and she fell back into the stiff white couch, crossing her arms in annoyance. “It’s impossible to win!”
Somewhere from across the room, someone grumbled a soft “you’re the one who wanted to play it”, which was a, seemingly, personal attack on the player. She pulled herself up enough to turn her body around enough to scan the room, looking for the culprit. But with no obvious suspects between Xaldin, Zexion, and Marluxia, she settled back into position with a huff.
“Unlikely, but not impossible.” Luxord corrected, lifting a finger from his hold on the deck to gesture towards her.
“Hmph. Same thing.” she spat.
“Is it though?” came another meddler, this one much more bold in his antics. Unlike whoever uttered the last remark, Xigbar had no apparent desire to sit back quietly. In a flash, he was leaning against the arm of the furniture, head turned to watch the game unfolding on the table.
“Hmph, what do you know?” However barbed the words were meant to be when they left her mouth, the edges were dulled with her irritation currently directed at the game.
He shrugged his shoulders nonchalantly and leaned towards them ever so slightly.
“Blondie’s got a point. You can beat him.”
The blond in question tipped a card slightly in Xigbar’s direction before he settled on shuffling what was left of the deck.  “He understands the rules.”
“This is stupid.”
“If you fold, you lose.” Luxord reminded her.
Blue eyes darted to the stakes they had laid on the table prior, plus a few bonuses of mission coverages written on paper thrown in to make it more interesting.
…and she had to admit, damn that looked nice.
“Well then. Why don’t we play to the end?”
Leaning forward, she took another glance at the cards in her hand.
“You’re on.”

Day 176, and we're done with the base sketches! *\o/* *celebratory kazoo noises*
I'll probably go in and fix some things and tweak others and probably even entirely redo a few more when I go through and ink/color/add scars, but that's a problem for Future Me™. For now WOOHOO I DID IT I DREW MIZU 25 TIMES WITH DIFFERENT EXPRESSIONS HUZZAH GO ME!!!!!!!! *more celebratory kazoo noises*
Drawing the same character consistently across 25 different facial expressions is hard, y'all. Fun, but hard XD
