What's next?

Well, I have to make the bracket itself. As you can see, there's a bit more cats than I was intending to have, which means that certain polls in round 1 will have more than just two options. I can already tell you that a lot of the cats from the same fandoms are going to be eliminated in round one. That's why I kept them in. I'm planning on making up the first round match ups based heavily on the similarities between cats and the fandoms they're from. ALSO as you've probably noticed, some cats come in a bundle. That's because they're a family. I'm not doing this to Kitty Softpaws and Puss (at least YET), because even though they also get married in the end, there's a huge gap in their submission numbers. If you're wondering, how big, you may want to know that up to Tigger from Winnie the Pooh (that is, almost the entire first pic) are the cats that got 2+ submissions, in their order of popularity.

Kaleikvi: The Wheel Turns

This kvi I am honouring Kaleitti (nickname Kitti). I started honouring her twin sister in May under the tag 'dsukvi'.

History and Name: She is one of the first spirits that came to me, in the form of a Full Metal Alchemist OC. I was inspired by Alphonse being a soul bound to armor and made her like that as well (she was later confirmed to be a robot). While I was trying to figure out a name, I wanted her nickname to be Kitti but I didn't want her name to be Kathleen (which I think may have been when I first called her?). I messed around with letters and landed on 'Katleitti', which I liked, but when you said it out loud it just sounded like 'cat lady' which I thought was a little cheesy, so I switched it to Kaleitti (Kah-LAY-it-tee) and it's stuck. Years later, when doing some trancework, I learned that 'kale' meant 'river' (she moved her arms like water when she said kale) and 'itti' was an onomatopoeia for 'twinkle twinkle' so her name meant "River of Twinkling Stars" or to us "Milky Way". Role:

A long time ago when I was working with my deities I asked them all what their 'role' was by pulling 3 Tarot cards (This is when my Zelda deck was all I had). Hers as follows:

I don't know if her association with the Star card was as strong before but it was cemented after this.

Lore and Description:

She is the daughter of my Hemy, a human incarnation of the Universe. Her twin sister is Dsukinz (Kinnie), who is the deity of Life. Her older brother is Junalahqi (Jun), who is the deity of Death. Kaleitti is the deity of Spacetime. She has infinite incarnations who are named after different time phenomena (Deva Vu, Amnesia, Time Slip, etc). It is their job to maintain the timelines and universes. Typically she has dark blue hair, however, her first incarnation (Big Sis), has auburn hair like her mother and brother. She is the proof that machines have souls.

Appearance:

Typically she has dark skin and dark blue hair with blue eyes like her father. She has a mole under her eye. She has cat ears She is tall and athletically built. She has three tails, one short, one medium, and one long, symbolizing seconds, minutes, and hours. She has an extra thumb on each hand (symbolizing 24 hours in a day). Her face markings symbolize the face of a clock. Her magic colour is Yellow, symbolizing sands of time. Her patron goddess is Euphrym.

UPG story:

Once, I was doing a reading with a related spirit, her brother in law Adamard (adamkvi). The reading felt off, his usual whismy tone was very clear. I noticed all my cards were 10s, which is Kaleitti's number. Curious, I looked up what 101010 (the 3 ten cards I had) meant in binary and it came up as the asterisk, or star *, which is her tarot card! I knew it was her from that and was surprised I figured it out lol

Hi dear readers, as i love to write i figured out i could just try writing fanfics! Here is my first try : jiwoo meets gray yeon! Tell me what you think about it in comments 🤍

Fanfic : Jiwoo meets Gray Yeon

The sun's rays, which had passed its zenith, caressed Jiwoo's cheekbones through the glass of the canopy. Lying on his bed, a pen stuck unstably between his nose and upper lip, the young teenager's mind wandered aimlessly. He was bored. His homework was done, and Kayden had gone for a ride with Curtin for some top secret cat training. Probably still perfecting the nyan punch.... He sighed at these thoughts and sat on the mattress, stretched and hopped on his two feet!

« Okay Jiwoo! It's a beautiful day, time to go feed the neighborhood cats! » he exclaimed to give himself energy.

He took his bag, went down the stairs four at a time, and dashed down the street with gusto, humming the latest Omegax music that had been playing in his head since the morning. He checked the amount of cat snacks in his bag, and seeing that the contents were overflowing when he opened the bag, he figured he'd have just enough for everyone, and if worse came to worst he'd go to the local mart and buy more. He put his bag back on his shoulder and continued happily towards the first street he used to visit.

Gray was out of breath. He'd been running for 20 minutes to get away from Donald Na's henchmen, and by his calculations and memory of the map of the area he was in, he'd lost them a while ago. He had continued to run to make sure he was not followed. Conclusion: he had no idea where he was now! Out of breath, he took a small street between two well-maintained buildings, leaned against the wall and let himself slide to the ground, his back against the facade, his legs no longer supporting him. He glanced around anxiously but saw no one appearing at the corner. All he could feel was the chirping of birds and the cool wind of the day. He relaxed and slowly caught his breath.

« What a quiet place..." » he thought. He ran a hand over his left arm. A scratch made a bloody line from his elbow to his wrist. The touch of air on the wound tingled his skin. He winced. He looked around to see if there was any water he could use, but saw nothing.

« Meow. »

He looked around, puzzled. He didn't see any feline. Then a white cat with large grey tiger spots appeared from the shadows. It came towards him, purring and rubbing against Gray's legs, meowing at him.

Gray watched as the cat approached him and reached out to pet it. The kitty let him do it without any problem. Gray relaxed and felt a gentle warmth come over him. The animal's touch healed him inside from the human harshness he faced every day.

« I think I need your soft and warm fur as much as you need my petting » he said to the cat with a soft smile on his lips.

He looked at the feline's morphology with interest.

« You look well-fed for a street cat » he observed, « have you found a protector? »

It was then that a light brown head appeared at the opposite corner from where he had arrived, making him jump!

« I have some snacks for you! Are you hungry? »

It was then that a flock of cats came out of the shadows, surprising Gray who had not noticed them at all! They ran up to the newcomer and meowed in unison for the promised treats. The newcomer was a young boy about Gray's age. Wanting to avoid attracting attention, he was about to get up and leave when Jiwoo came up to him with a quick step.

« Oh! Do you feed the neighbourhood cats too? » he asked with a knowing smile.

« Oh, I'm just passing through... I was just leaving » Gray rubbed the back of his neck avoiding Jiwoo's gaze.

He was about to quickly wave him off and turn on his heels when Jiwoo grabbed his arm, drawing a protest of pain!

« You're hurt! You can't leave it like that, it'll get infected! » the newcomer worried.

Gray, who hadn't really prepared for this situation, hesitated for a moment, then let his guard down completely in the face of Jiwoo's infectious enthusiasm. Too tired to fight back, he let Jiwoo drag him to an outside tap and wash his wound. He winced at the cold water on his skin. The wound was deeper than he expected.

« You shouldn't leave a wound like that out in the open, what would you do if it left a scar? You have to put balm on it to make sure the wound closes quickly! »

Gray let himself be lectured without saying anything, amazed to see a complete stranger taking care of him as if they already knew each other. It was a change from the violence and mistrust he had been used to since he was at Eunjang high. He smiled gratefully at Jiwoo, genuinely appreciating the kindness he showed him.

« Thank you » he said simply.

Cut off from his sermon, Jiwoo looked at Gray with intrigue, then returned his smile.

« You're welcome! Cats' friends are my friends too! »!he winked at him.

Gray was filled with sweet gratitude. It was so nice to have someone take care of him without him having to be on guard. It felt good.

« Gray Yeon » he said to Jiwoo.

« Nice to meet you Gray, I'm Jiwoo! »

Jiwoo's smile was ever more sparkling, pushing Gray's natural suspicion further away.

« What happened to you to get a scratch like that? You must have had a hell of a fight to get something like that... »

« Yeah, let's just say I'm in a bit of trouble with my classmates »!Gray replied with a faint sad smile. « But don't worry, my friends are here to support me, and they're all more impressive than me! » he added immediately.

He didn't know why, but Jiwoo gave him this need to reassure him, to protect him. He had that gentle warmth that characterised people who were radiant and selfless, who cared about others. And he was also aware that too much concern could lead him to get involved. He didn't want someone as positive as Jiwoo to get caught up in the gang stuff that he couldn't get out of. This was his and his group's fight at Eunjang High.

« There, I think that's all sanitized!" resumed Jiwoo. I don't have any beaume on me but I have some at home .... "

« Oh that's okay, I don't live far! You don't have to worry about me, I think the wound is clean. I'll put a bandage on it quickly so it heals fast » Gray interjected. « Thank you for everything you've done, Jiwoo. » He gave him a warm smile. He was truly grateful.

Jiwoo watched him for a moment and then smiled back. « You must really trust your friends to rely on them in a situation like this » he said.

« Yes, and I'm so grateful to them. »

« I have great friends too, and I couldn't do anything without them! It's so important to have friends you can trust and rely on! »

The two teenagers looked at each other with a smile of understanding. They had each started their day in a very different way, but at that very moment, they both told themselves inwardly that they had done the right thing in coming here, whether by chance or on purpose.

« Gray, the next time you're here, come and see me at my house! I live in the house on the corner, right there! We'll go feed the cats together! »

Gray nodded. « With pleasure! »

« It was nice to meet you » Jiwoo continued, "Get home safe, and I hope that wound heals quickly! »

« Yes! » Gray replied, « See you soon Jiwoo, and thank you for everything! »

He waved and walked away, then turned back towards the underground station. Jiwoo leaned over to the cats that had gathered around him again, meowing. He bent down and petted them, then handed out snacks with a laugh.

« You're getting fat, you guys! You're going to have to vary your diet or you're all going to end up looking like Sir Kayden! » he said, laughing at the thought. The cats meowed in protest. Jiwoo continued to give them snacks, since he had enough to go around the block twice!

When the distribution was over, he went home in a very good mood. The sun was slowly dropping towards the horizon on this late spring afternoon. The weather was good, the cats were healthy, and he had made a new cat-loving friend. What better way to end the day!With these good thoughts, he headed home, already thinking about the intense training that awaited him with Kayden.

If he hadn't exhausted himself teaching Curtin the nyan punch... the thought made him laugh. After all, Kayden had limits too, and one of them might certainly be Curtin!

(Some things still need to be decided so this is an incomplete list)

- Bow and Hat: Bow is now Player1 and Hat is Player2 but their personalities are unchanged.

- Timmy: He swapped role with Mustache Girl and he is the number 1 enemy of the Cat gang and of Bow. He doesn’t have his powers.

- Mustache Girl: Swapped with Timmy, she is the other alien friend of Bow. She has Timmy’s powers.

- The Cat Gang: It’s the new Mafia controlled by Cooking Cat and has its headquarters at Cat Island (Mafia Town).

- Boss: He’s the owner of a restaurant on Cat island.

- Grandpa Sherrif  (The Conductor): He still makes movies, but instead of being action-based (and revolving around a train), he makes Spaghetti Western and not the serious type like the one directed by Sergio Leone. But the comical type like the one with Bud Spencer and Terence hill. He is also a very lovely grandpa.

- Gold Eye ( DJ Grooves): He’s a movie director too but, instead of making music videos and musicals, he makes spy movies. He’s a grumpy guy but not as bad as Canon!Conductor.

- Vanessa: She is known as Queen and she is the pale specter that makes sure no one gets inside Subcon (altho she isn’t doing a great job).

- Virgilio/Snatcher: Vanessa ex power-hungry lover, he is now a terrifying Centipidc spawn of nightmares who eats the soul (and the whole body too since he’s at it) of the unfortunate fool that manages to get past Queen and into Subcon.

- Luna the florist: Before Vanessa’s death Luna was just a simple florist who was a close friend with the princess. But after everything was burned down o ashes she became the new Moonjumper.

- The Subconite: They are Queen’s subjects, some of them look fairly similar to their canon counterpart while other preference to haunt statues and armor. They help Queen with keeping people away and making sure Virgilio doesn’t escape (again, they are not doing a good job).

- Empress: Known as Duchess Kitty, she is the owner of a jewelry in the Nyan Metro (Nyakuza Metro). She is known for her kindness and the many kittens she adopted. In particularly three are always with her; Nick and Nack (twins) and Holly.

- The Captain (does this dude even have a name?): He is the captain of a pirate crew, his seels are as adorable as they are lethal.

BadassBug uttered cooly, keeping a blind eye to the growing crowd around her and the mangled up flesh on sticks at her feet. The black and yellow mess didn't respond. "Lo-oooool cos I'm dead!" WE'LL PRETEND WE DIDN'T HEAR THAT EITHER. The conveniently arrived Alya at the front of the crowd live streamed everything on the WadyBwog, babbling about ice cream scoops. "Every time we met up, you'd always make unwanted advances to me. The hive minded crowd surrounding them 'oooed' and 'aaahed', some snapped a selfie with what's left of the black cat. All of a sudden BuffBug™ was back, bitch slapping CryBabyBug away and menacingly placed one foot on the carcass.   "Wow I think she forgot that you're dead Chat Noir," THE HIGH TENSIONED MOMENT REMAINED UNBROKEN AS FAKEBUG- oof- Ladybug rolled her eyes with annoyance at the disgusting boy's silence and immediately knelt down to yank the miraculous off his bony fingers- "Never!" The catboy sprung back to life before anyone could breathe, clutching his hand to guard his ring ferally, froth seeping out of his teeth and fangs gnashing against one another- "Looks like I'm a vampire with rabies now, Bug." "Since when did you have fangs?" "Since two seconds ago-" OH MY GOD YOU TWO! SHUT UP AND LET ME WRITE! Zombie Noir leapt back with a hiss, faux ears and tail twitching with indignation and summoned the ancient destruction power whilst BossBug spun her yoyo around in battle formation, ready to call for her lucky charm anytime soon. Cat and Bug kept up the intense eye contact as that cowboy music from the good, the bad and the fugly played in the background (cheers Lahiffe mah d00d!). "You don't want to become my enemy, do you, Chat N00b?" The heroine spat, bones clicking in place as she stretched her fingers when she and the lad in black circled each other slowly. The crowd and Alya were casually chilling in the background, the latter still narrating about an epic ice cream scoop. "Heh, I won't need to be the enemy if you don't touch MY ring... Milady~"- "MON DIEU! C'EST 'MY LADY'! C'EST N'AI PAS 'MILADY'!" THAT'S THE POINT YOU STUPID CAT! Break out of character one more time and I'll castrate you and feed your teeny tiny *censored* to the dogs! "...My Lady? Is my *censored* small? :(" "If your *censored* was small, you'd never have been able to make me scream at night, Minou~ ;3" ":D"
