As much as I believe in and love a lot of the artwork I’ve produced and sold over the past couple of years, I’ve always known that I was at a point where I’ve reached the most that I can do, with everything I currently know how to do. So after seeing an advert for the Academy of Art in SF, I entered the undergrad online program and am on my way to (finally) getting my BFA in illustration. This past Wednesday marked my last day of school for the summer semester, and I am SO excited for the next 3 or so years to come! After the 2 classes I had taken this summer, I can already see the dramatic improvement in my technique, and I can’t wait to produce even more great art that i can share with all of you!!! I have tremendous gratitude for all the support that I have gotten from all my family and friends, and I can’t wait to see where all this new education will take me!! The fall semester will introduce me to the world of digital art, and I can hardly wait!!! Importance of firm determination.

We must determine everyday to be a better version of ourselves! There would be times, when we will fail. However the important thing is to re determine that if I could not do it today, I will do it tomorrow! Like this we will be able to ignite the flame of hope in our heart! It is the heart ❤️ that is important! Determination should be backed with prayers. That is chanting Nam MYOHO renge kyo. Let's pray that each and everyone in this world must stay happy!

A SGI é uma organização que abraça a fé no budismo transmitido de forma evolutiva a partir de Shakyamuni para os mestres eruditos na Índia, considerados bodisativas, tais como Nagarjuna e Vasubandhu; para o grande mestre Tiantai e o grande mestre Miaole, na China; para o grande mestre Dengyo, no Japão até chegar a Nitiren Daishonin. Segue a legítima linhagem humanista do budismo, de respeito a todas as pessoas e à dignidade de vida, que se estende desde Shakyamuni.

Dentre os sutras Mahayana, a SGI baseia-se no Sutra do Lótus e promove na atualidade ações e atividades da prática da fé em conformidade com o espírito fundamental do Sutra do Lótus demonstrado por Nitiren Daishonin com sua própria vida.
