Apparently a recent study on physical albums sales in kpop showed that it's not environmentally friendly because people only bulk buy them for photocards or to win fansign slots, with reports of not only libraries being swarmed with discarded albums/photobooks BUT ALSO hoards of albums have been found in the trash 💀
