After a decade apart, Kurama and Ami finally reunite.

Really went and joined another dead fandom, huh... just take this and don’t look at me. I’m sad and gay and love them.

Anyway, I hope I either inspire someone or maybe I write a short fiction myself about this...

Pairings: YusukexKuramaxYusuke, somewhat KuwabaraxYusuke (but one sided mostly)... and then YukioxKuwabara

Genre: Hurt, Romance, AU, Gender-bend

Note: Kurama and Kuwabara are females. Yukina is male, his name is Yukio. Kuwabara's name is Kaguya. Kurama's name is Sayuri.

Sayuri means "small lily" and Kaguya means "radiant night". Yukio means "snow". "Radiant night" is punnish.

My vision of Sayuri and Kaguya:

Sayuri will look like Kurama, but a female version. She is BEAUTIFUL and SMART.

The truth is, I don't seek to change their personalities, so a female Kuwabara would be the same in personality. She's a tough girl yet also a hopeless romantic. She's a good person, but will kick your ass if she has to.

Kuwabara's female body will be tall but not as nearly as tall. She will be curvy, voluptuous. Her style of dress? Well, as a guy Kuwabara wanted to be macho, but as a girl Kuwabara would strive to dress feminine. She wouldn't be ugly! All you mother fuckers out there who think she would be need to stfu! Girls are built differently than guys! NATURALLY. Anyone who denies this is BLIND. Since Kuwabara is very masculine in both face and physique, a female Kuwabara would be the opposite. Mind you, since she's a tough girl, she'd work out and be tone and muscular. She's a fighter, more so than Shizuru.

Plot of fiction:

Kuwabara is sad that her long awaited crush, who she believe reciprocated her feelings, leaves her and dates Kurama who she finds out he dated before her and that he was never over Kurama. Technically, Kuwabara was just the rebound girl.

if you had to Ship/pair the innerscouts (not including sailor moon) and outer scouts with characters from yu yu hakusho who would you pick the writer of sailor moon married the writer of yu yu hakusho I I have seen alot of sailor saturn x hiei stuff

Oh hell...Man this is tricky. My thoughts...

Makoto with Kurama (Shuichi Minamino) -It wouldn't be just for the plants, though I think those would be an added plus, but I think both suffer from similar thoughts. Kurama seems to be a bit guilty about taking on the life of a child who's body he's inhabiting, and probably sees Makoto struggling with the loss of her parents. Both can be very deadly when they want to but both also want the most normal life out of the group they are with. I think they'd get along due in part to their compassion and loyalty and don't get them mad attitude helps a lot. If anything I think Kurama would find it amusing to flirt with Makoto, only to find himself blushing at how sweet she could be and caring. It would put the boy in a tail spin as it were. Ami with Hiei for me -I know it's a weird ass combo, but I can see it working out more than people think. Hiei for all his cool stand-offish-ness is a kind brother who loves his sister. He's also someone that is very smart and understanding to his team mates, even if he acts like he's not. Ami, for her part is someone who can honestly keep up with his coolness, but also bring out the kinder side of him. Beware the quiet ones, as she can be as deadly as he can, and he probably would be inspired by her smarts and bravery. Also I think they would get along with both of them wanting to know about things, and just hanging out. He strikes me as the sort who would happily just sit there while she was doing homework and chill just watching her and wanting to cheer her on in his own way. And she'd probably be one of the few to get under his thick skin and get him to blush and react to things. Minako and Yusuke -Okay hear me out on this one. Both of them have a serious nature under the clown persona they built. Yusuke is a wanna be tough guy who tends to come off as a jerk with a heart of gold. But given how he died in the first place, its showing there a lot of compassion in there. He pushes himself to the limit for his friends and is willing to do whatever he has to to protect them in the Dark Tournament. Dude doesn't back down, and he's no idiot, though he acts like one and stubborn at that. Minako can come off as boy crazy and a ditz at times, but she's really not like that. Her dreams may seem huge but over all, as with Yusuke, her desire to be an idol is over all to bring love and happiness to everyone. And isn't that what food does too? Also she's as stubborn as he is, and willing to keep away from her friends to protect them. As with Yusuke she doesn't back down and pushes herself to the limit to fight for her princess and even steps up when Usagi is in a blue screen of death. There's a reason both of them are leaders to their respective groups. I honestly think that Yusuke would probably be the type that is like, "I'm not going to your concert" then show up in the front row with flowers or something for her. Minako would always cheer him on, and the boy can cook so she probably would love that aspect of him. Rei with Kuwabara -Now this one is really weird but I think it works. Kazuma is a loyal brother who cares deeply for his sister. While he comes off a a goof ball, he's also one of the strongest emotionally of the group. He won't go down, even if you bash him in and is someone who has a gentleness to himself. He's protective and someone that would admire Rei for her charms as well as her mind. He's also so opposite her father and more then likely would be someone that could see through the perfection that Rei has and notice the flaws that make her human. I also can see him making her laugh with how dumb he can be. On the other side let's be honest Rei would help him with his homework and also show him ways to encourage his spirit to make him way stronger. If anything the boy would be blushing all the time around her because he would see her as wonderful and help willingly at the shrine forgoing things just to be around her.

Well that's my thoughts on it. I hope it satisfies your curiosity.

Kamisama Kiss, Vol. 25

I haven’t done a full review of Kamisama Kiss in over 7 years, but it’s always been near the top of my want to read shoujo titles, and I’m impressed with it for lasting 25 volumes, which is more than four sets of Karakuri Odette. (Does anyone recall that series? It’s been about one fandom generation since it came out.) I was wondering what the author was going to do with this final volume, given that almost everything was resolved in the previous book. And it’s true, this is a victory lap of a sort, a light and cheerful final volume devoting itself to wrapping up the romances and getting Nanami and Tomoe married and living in the human world. It’s well worth the read, though, as it’s a well-told victory lap, and will put a smile on your face.

You’ll note the cover art is a bit different from the ‘wedding pose’ cover that the regular edition had. I picked up the Limited Edition, which comes with this alternate cover and a separate, hardcover minibook that features all the color pages from the series, as well as an epilogue chapter taking place several years later. I think it’s worth shelling out for the extra edition – the art is gorgeous, even if pretty small (this is still the size of a regular manga volume) and we also get one of those ‘extra chapters’ that always tend to happen in Hana to Yume series but so rarely get collected into North American (or indeed Japanese) volumes. Without spoiling anything, fans of Akura-Oh and Ami will absolutely want to pick up the Limited Edition.

As for the main event, I like how it shows that even after all this time, Nanami still has a tendency to sublimate her own desires if she thinks Tomoe will be uncomfortable or dislike anything, and I like the fact that the entire cast serves to clamp down on that and give her the epic wedding that she (and the series) deserves. As for the other human x supernatural pairings, Ami and Kurama is left up in the air, mostly as Kurama has not gained as much experience with human emotion as Tomoe has, but it’s pretty clear that she’s not going to be moving on. As for Himemiko and Kotaro, they’ve got a few more things conspiring to keep them apart, including some of what Nanami has dealt with before (the “they must be unhappy, it would be best if I left them” feelings), but they also have a very good reason to stay together, and the result is dealt with subtly but will put a smile on your face.

As will the entire volume, really. Kamisama Kiss has had its fair share of drama, and so after all the near deaths and trips to the afterlife it’s a relief to see such a sweet ending. Admittedly Mizuki may not agree with me, as Nanami and Tomoe becoming human means a parting from the spirit wold, but even that may be only a temporary thing, we discover. As with most really good manga, finishing this series makes a reader want to go back and start over from the beginning.
