Kylie Cosmetics Creme Lipstick in Creme Brulee

Hi guys,

We finally have a new Kylie Cosmetics lip product. We all know Kylie is famous for her liquid lipstick formula and now in her vegan formula she has released a collection of matte and creme bullet lipsticks. I have only ever tried her liquid lipstick formula so I'm really excited to try something new . Since I have enough matte lipsticks for now I decided to get one of Creme Lipsticks (£22.00) in shade 333 Not Sorry.

Before we get into this lipstick itself let's chat about the packaging. When I picked up the lipstick I originally thought I got the wrong shade because the outer packaging had a red lipstick swatch on the front but it turns out they all do so don't let that trick you. The lipstick itself is in the very pretty baby pink Kylie Cosmetics packaging with Kylie's name across the bottom of the lipstick.

Now back to the Not Sorry Lipstick, I picked this shade because it was the lightest shade in the shade range. It's a gorgeous pink toned nude shade that I personally would like everyday. This formula is a creamy lipstick so it sits on the lips effortlessly but has longer lasting  colour  payoff compared to other creme formulas. Now do you need this product? If you are a fan of Kylie Cosmetics and are a bit over liquid lipsticks then I think you're gonna like this formula. But I would say you can find some gorgeous cream lipsticks at the drugstore for half the price.

Makeup Monday: Aveena Teague, AKA the Sunwell

I went heavy on gold sparkles for this one since Anveena is the incarnation of the actual Sunwell. The only thing I really struggled with was whether or not to do my hair like the comic version (curly) or IG version (above), although as you can tell, I decided the comic version was far superior. I’ve never actually been a fan of Anveena’s IG model, but she played a pretty small part in in-game content.

I didn't get dressed much this week (yay period pain), but I did get dressed today to go get coffee with the boyfriend, and then to go surprise my mom! Today is her birthday and it killed me that I couldnt be with her, so I drove to her house and sang her Mananitas from the front yard. It's a Mexican celebration song that she always sings for our birthdays and I didn't want her to not hear it. Definitely worth the drive even if I didnt get to hug her! FINAL NOTES

I am impressed that I’ve managed to fit so many products in such a teeny pouch, it’s out of character for me as I carry so much on a daily basis, I am one of those everything but the kitchen sink people. When I was deciding what to carry with me etc. it wasn’t a one moment thing, I’ve added and taken away products through time and my ‘philosophy’ almost is based on being able to do a pretty decent full face if I had to on the go. 

I love Transport for London although the service is disgusting most the time, it is just a quicker way to get anywhere (I hate traffic!) other than walking. Unfortunately the Tube makes you feel pretty icky and after a 12 hour day, I want to be able to just wipe my face off on my little train home- and there come handy my wipes if you were wondering. I also am prone to getting fed-up midway through the day and removing my make up, plopping my hair into a bun and getting my jobs done. Again, hence the wipes- I carry travel size versions in my bag. 

Another theme in my make-up bag is multi use- I double up bronzer as eyeshadow if I need it, lipstick as blush and so on. This is more efficient and space saving. I don’t have a particular lip shade I carry either, they all accumulate in my bag until I clear it out

Finally aside the make up I carry the obvious hand sanitiser, a travel size body spray/deodorant and a 30ml perfume (Dior Blooming Bouquet). Chewing Gum is pretty essential to my life too.

Makeup Monday: Tyrande Whisperwind

Even though the colors resemble cotton candy more than Tyrande, I love this look so much. I think I’ll probably end up wearing this on Halloween (with a few adjustments) since it’s the night before Blizzcon, so if you’re going, come take photos with me!

My current obsessions: July

I know the month just started but these will last the whole month. Here I’m going to discuss my favorites right now and anything that’s currently going on (watching, reading, etc.)

App: it’s hard to pick a favorite app but I guess I would say the New York pass app. I’m busy finding things to do in New York and since were getting the pass I like looking at it to see what to do.

Beauty product: I don’t get a ton of new makeup often so I’m gonna stick to a couple at a time. Currently I’m obsessed with the Kylie cosmetics kybrow highlighter sticks and passion creme lipstick.

Movie: breakfast at Tiffany’s. My all time favorite classic is currently my favorite. I’m going to New York this month so of course rewatching favorites that take place in New York is a must. I’m gonna rewatch it again before I go because last time I tried my dvd scratched.

Binging gossip girl for the next two weeks (I’m currently almost done with season 2) before New York

what have you tried from kylie cosmetics, & what did you like and not like?

i've tried her royal peach eyeshadow palette, the kkw lipstick collection, & damn gina gloss. the royal peach palette is ok, it's not the best eyeshadow i've ever used. the colors are really pretty, but they take a little more effort to make show up even with a base and a primer. I love the kkw creme lipsticks though, all the colors are gorgeous!! I don't like how matte lipstick looks on me personally, so the formula for the kkw lipsticks is BOMB!! it's a mix between a gloss and liquid lipstick, totally amazing. i like the damn gina gloss too, it's really pretty & not super sticky :)
