on unrelated news I’m really entertained by how walder frey’s whole thing is. he’s a rambling old man, tired of the other nobles looking down on him, so he will get angry at any perceived slight, real or imagined. the fact that he knows he is called the late lord frey but he thinks it’s because people are mocking him for his age and wish he would die already, and not because he only ever shows up after the battle is won. he thinks the arryns won’t let him foster his kids at their place while he fosters theirs in return because they believe they’re too good for his children like anyone who takes one (1) look at lady arryn can’t tell that she is certifiably batshit crazy

but also he just has SO many sons of daughters (and grandsons and granddaughters and bastards and grandbastards) because this insecure ninety year old can’t stop fucking apparently. just drowning in pussy. so he’s desperate to get them placed into other noble families to stop having literally fifty of his children in the house. he just. really wants his kids to move out

Every time I make progress on Léa's written story in English I think "wow this flows so much better than the French version ! Should I rewrite it AGAIN ? Why does my writing sound more natural in English than in my first language ???".

There are already a few things that are there in English but not in French ; Léa use they/them for themselves while other characters use she/her and they don't dare to correct them & the story is written at the 3rd person but still from Léa's point of view, so there's a moment where Léa feel a disconnect with how characters view them, while it's lessened in French since they use she/her in French at that time. Yeah they go by they/them in English before they look into other pronouns than elle (she/her) in French (well they sort of looked into it but il/lui & iel didn't fit), and me being the detail freak that I am, I can't bring myself to change this fact in the French version... Also yes at the beginning Léa are written to be a petty, somewhat self-centred teenager and not a super reliable narrator. Even if I'm using the 3rd person in English (because Léa mostly think in French so writing in full English at the 1st person seemed weird to me), things are still very much from Léa's point of view ; they keep insulting Amy and painting her to be a stubborn idiot while they fail to consider the wants of the characters they're supposed to be a fan of. Yep yep, at the beginning they also think it's all a dream so they get even more of a main character syndrome. That's supposed to contrast with the attitude of Mobians & other characters ; even through Léa's petty belittling of Amy you can tell she's nice and competent. Léa mostly keep the snarky remarks to themselves, but still Mobians are sooooo nice to them and it's supposed to seem odd to the reader. You have Sonic remarking Shadow's unusual super delicate welcoming attitude towards Léa (Sonic just think it's unusual, not impossible from Shadow), which, while not explicitly stated, is especially surprising since Léa are a mysterious entity who fell from the sky without a single scratch that he's supposed to report on for G.U.N. ; with Shadow's more suspicious tendencies it's surprising to Sonic & Knuckles. And at one point you get an explanation as to why the Mobians are so so SO nice to Léa to an unusual degree, but at first you just have a few seeds here and there. Purple is a lore-dumping machine LOL.

Anyway sorry for rambling this much, I didn't see it coming either.

My character's patron has been stuck in a ring for A While and didn't get to know about the world, and then my character found her and rambled about the world and explained what animals were and her patron loves seagulls and she made a little winged cat that kinda looks like a seagull 🥺

She created tressyms (winged cats, they're So Cute) because my character taught her about animals 🥺

Also i took another warlock level and picked pact of the chain (my character's a multiclass, i only had 2 warlock levels) and adopted the little guy my patron made, he's my familiar now :3

Crushing stage bc I realise I haven’t hc’d this much but I see Evren going out and getting coffee, and he’s all dressed down in sweats and he bumps into Miko there, and it’s probably a moment like that when he realises he likes her bc he’s looking at her at 8:30am and instantly gets butterflies in his stomach.

^ he definitely also insists on buying her a hot drink, and then they’d probably sit with each other. And he’s feeling *not very* confident at all, but he likes the fact that he can smile and chill around Miko.

I can’t get over Miko being a social media babe, soo I feel like when she’s with Evren then he gets involved too. Soo she’d have a YouTube video recorded and asks Evren to do a voiceover for it and he’s up for it.

It’d go like “hii, it’s Evren. Miko asked me to do a voiceover for this video because she had to cut her last live short after…receiving a very important text :) but anywayy, let’s get into it” and “soo here she is waking up, looking as fucking radiant as ever…there she is with headphones on listening to music that definitely isn’t mine…and she’s wearing— wait, she’s wearing a hoodie that is mine; one I thought I lost, actually, so thanks for that, babe”

I hc Evren turning up to Miko and the team’s practices regularly, and just standing at the side with his dad and Javier’s like “Miko, she’s been playing well” “I wouldn’t expect anything less” and Evren would stand off to side so Miko wouldn’t realise he’s there, and just look and watch her skills in awe.

I have a feeling that when Ev’s in the studio, and it’s stupid o’clock in the morning, and he has writer’s block but knows he has to finish a song; he’d either scroll through his and Miko’s texts or call her on FaceTime and realise he just wants to chat to her a bit, and he’d definitely call her his muse.

I’ve had way too much fun thinking about Rosalie and Miko having a great relationship with each other. When she’s around, I see the two of them shopping together, eating out, Rosa would ask about Miko’s family etc, and they’d talking about all the stuff they’re comfortable with. I see Rosa saying something like “Javier’s being a good manager to you, right? tell me if isn’t and I’ll give him a talking to” and I just see her rambling about how happy Evren is

Oo, I’m not sure how close Miko and Léa will end up being in game, but in hc I see Léa asking whether Miko’s up for helping her and Cypress plan a surprise birthday party for Evren.

^ and you mentioned that Miko would’ve written Ev something and got him cute stationery for his birthday, and during the day I imagine him saying stuff like “you know, I’m totally fine spending the whole day with you”

For parallels with that crushing hc, when he was in the crushing stage I see Ev writing a song and there’s a verse about Miko in it that doesn’t mention her by name, but the fact that he mentioned coffee with a gorgeous girl at 8:30am pretty much shows it’s about her.

^ and I imagine one random morning Evren would go “I wrote a verse about you in one of my songs, before we got together. When we bumped into each at that cafe”

Instead, her ramblings fell on deaf ears as hazel eyes remained fixated on two figures a few ways in front of him. A blonde and her date. Léa. Beautiful, sphinxlike Léa. The singular woman Romeo couldn’t help but come back to time and time again. She’d ruined him, really. Permeated every crevice of his mind like a wraith hellbent on being remembered. Perhaps that's why the jealousy consuming him was nearly overpowering. Granted, Romeo's reputation for being territorial was well-earned, but with Léa—-  it rose to new heights, likely due to the fact she wasn’t really his to claim. Yet the more he watched her mingle (and god forbid, flirt) the less the label of their relationship mattered. Whatever was happening, he didn’t like it thus he made his way over, abandoning the brunette without so much as a word. Weaving his way through the crowd, long legs allowed him to reach her rather speedily. “Léa,” he announced, a flurry of angry words halted on his tongue. He wanted to ask what the fuck she was doing, but their public position wasn’t lost on him. Hence, he allowed the frigid jealousy in his gaze to speak for him as he glanced between the two bodies before him. “Who’s your date?” @pennedby​

Some random detail but I think that once they get into that sort of thing, Léa pace around while doing dance-like movements with their legs when giving their "evil monologs".

Exe paces around less often, but he moves his hands quite frantically whenever he gets passionate about something. It was already in the OG lore and I liked it so I kept it. He's somewhat self-conscious about it but he can't help it.

I imagine Léa just, twirl and jump around whoever they're talking to while they're rambling about how much of a powerful "monster" they are or something. I guess it would be funny to have Shannon being piss scared of Léa ever since they snapped at her after gaining more power on Earth, while Léa are just circling around Shannon at a uneven pace and belittling her. It'd look like a mix of a lion circling its pray and a weird ballet. If Léa stop pacing around you though it probably means they're ready to attack for real, or at least they want the victim to think that.

In general, once Léa merge with Claire they retain all their quirkiness but now they are an actual threat no matter the dimension, so they can go from "cute" to "threatening" whenever they want.
