I had yet another angsty DBH dream. This time it was Kara, Alice and Luther going on a trip i think, idk they were at the airport for whatever reason. They’re standing outside waiting for a cab and Alice is inside for some reason. Then out of nowhere there’s an emergency and everyone in the airport is fleeing, alarms are going off, etc. Kara rushes back inside to go get Alice except she can’t find her anywhere. So she’s panicking and desperately looking anywhere she can, trying to ask people for help but it’s absolute chaos. Eventually she’s forced to evacuate along with everyone else by airport security, and when she goes back outside she finds Alice is with Luther and they were looking for her. Kara full on breaks down in tears hugging Alice on her knees.

It was so genuinely heartbreaking to think about even in a dream it’s sadly very accurate to Kara’s story and her trauma and I both love and hated how my brain came up with it so well

Debunking all the reasons Charlastor is “wrong”

“Alastor is aroace!” He’s just ace. And ace people can be in relationships and believe it or not they can have sex. It’s not your place to define someone else’s asexuality. (Also it’s a bit sus how I never see anybody bring this up in any post about literally any other Alastor ship…)

Charlie has to be the safest person ever. Not only is she the second most powerful being in Hell, but her Protection Squad™️ consists of her ex-exorcist angel girlfriend, a spider demon from a crime boss family, a former overlord gambler, a cyclops maid that will stab anybody if you simply tell her to, a snake war general with hypnotic powers, the motherfucking cannibalistic radio demon who has killed hundreds if not thousands of people just cause he can, and her father who is literally the FUCKING DEVIL

Codependent charlastor is so hot. Yes Alastor is a merciless overlord with an insane amount of power but he will not be able to function if he is not within 5 feet of Charlie for the next hour. Yes Charlie is the princess of Hell and she could very easily take care of herself but like why would she want to when her emotional support demon is right there and willing to do it for her

“Characters a and b need to go their separate ways at the end of a Disney sequel to show their growth and development” is so tired and dumb. I need Zootopia 2 to do the opposite. Make Judy and Nick so insanely dependent on each other that it’s borderline unhealthy and it remains that way for the entire duration of the film. Have them get separated during a big chaos scene and make them go absolutely feral. Nick panicking like he did in the first movie, screaming and hurriedly looking everywhere for her. Judy becoming so stressed and anxious that she instinctively reaches for Nick’s paw only to go crazy when she realizes he’s not there.

Obsessed with an insane height difference between Charlie and Alastor. Bro literally towers over her. She has to get on her tiptoes and grab his shirt to pull him down just to kiss him

I know majority of people think “haha Nick does stupid shit and Judy has to keep him in control” which don’t get me wrong is a funny trope, but I like to think canonly it’s the opposite.

I’m not saying Judy does stupid shit on purpose or for no reason, but she is very case-focused and will stop at nothing to finish her job, even at the risk of her own safety. Girl puts her life on the line multiple times throughout the movie and arguably if it weren’t for Nick she would’ve ended up dead. He is much more concerned with their safety and making sure they both make it out okay from dangerous situations.

So yeah, Judy is just as capable of putting her life at risk, and Nick is the only one actively keeping her alive

Literally every single flavor of charlastor is perfect. Alternate canon where they have a romantic arc of Charlie bringing out a soft side to Alastor while he makes her stronger and more confident in herself? Perfect. Alastor being completely utterly obsessed with her even though his feelings are unrequited and Charlie only sees him as a friend at most? Perfect. Human 1920s AU? Perfect. Alastor is his creepy, vile, menacing self but around Charlie he’s an absolute sweetheart who does anything for her bc she’s the only exception? Perfect. Demon Alastor hunting for prey x unsuspecting human Charlie? Perfect. Vise versa, demon succubus Charlie x human Alastor who summons her to cause chaos and instead he falls in love with her? Perfect.
