Just witnessed the Lakshadeepam festival at Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. This happens once in six years. 100,000 lamps are lit. All the four Vedas are recited. Overwhelmed…. detailed blog post tomorrow.

We celebrated Pongal/Sankranti by witnessing the Lakshadeepam festival at Sree Padmanabhaswamy temple. The Lakshadeepam festival starts in the evening. So we all took bath again in the evening and I started the year with a beautiful Mango yellow Cooptex silk saree.
