have we forgotten jirai was mostly started by homeless teenagers? a big part of jirai is people who dont have much money. yet theres some ‘jirais’ who insist you have to have dark girly clothing, despite them being made incredibly expensive because of capitalism nowadays

dark girly was what original jirais were drawn to because it was cheap at the time, but also cute and trendy. thats no longer the case, and even if it were expecting people who are in a subcul with a lot of people not very well off on money to buy expensive clothes for them to be “jirai enough” is insane.

jirai is not what you wear. “jirai fashion” is anything a jirai wears. get it in your head
