I initially wanted to animate it, and it took me four months of procrastinating on that to realize I didn't like animating it.

I was watching the first RQG Q&A and someone asked "if you could spend an evening with one NPC who would it be" and Lydia imidiatly chose Wilde.

And like, I know Lydia likes Wilde but I was under the impression she started liking him during the later sessions like everyone else but nope. Her only problem with him was flirting with Bertie and nothing else. Ben on the other hand is shocked anyone would choose Wilde and is very against it.

Bryn is convinced by Lydia.

James implied he would enjoy if it was the real Oscar Wilde and suggested Bowling with Byron, he and Ben played aliterations and it's really important to remember how funny James always is.

But the funniest part was Alex picking James silly joke going "what if you were expecting the great party and Wilde took you to Laser Quest" and deciding that he actually would love to take Wilde to Laser Quest. Not his NPC either. The real victorian poet.

okay deliriously mad about this specific bit in an f/oa review. YOU HAVE JUST PLAYED. A GAME. ABOUT FOUND FAMILY. where hermes in multiple instances expresses the fact he feels more at home in the underworld, doesn't have a good relationship with his father anymore and feels as though he is always playing a role on olympus. if you fucking choose to stay on olympus despite building a relationship with the wider cast and hermes, OF COURSE he is going to reject any advances and break off a budding relationship. BECAUSE THE PC HAS JUST PROVED TO HIM THAT THEY HAVE NOT LISTENED OR TAKEN TO HEART ANY OF THE THINGS HE'S BEEN WORRIED ABOUT. the pc chooses to rejoin a community that ostracizes the people he cares most about and essentially does what hera does, use the underworld as a getaway from olympus when it suits them, without caring deeply about the underworld itself. like cmon. some criticism i can get but this one.. KEEP MY WIFE'S NAME OUT OF YOUR MOUTH!

Actually folling on from that, any headcanons about who Osiris/Saint/Timur/Gheleon etc. were in their first lives pre-resurrection?

Head’s pretty empty for most of these guys but you’ll be shocked I’m sure to learn I am one that believes Timur was definitely a Braytech engineer. What that entailed exactly I can’t say but his fixation on Clovis Bray (TM) and his fascination with Felwinter as an Exo, and the Golden Age and its tech, all really points to me as something kind of hard-wired in there. And I do say engineer specifically thanks to that wild little lorebook entry The Iron Lord’s Tale with him from last season’s Dragonslayers book and the WILDLY specific use of /cavitation bubbles/ to slay a gotdamn Ahamkara. That’s something you don’t really see outside of the realm of mechanical engineering and usually is even more specific to nautical engineering so I feel like that was less a description of what happened and more a specific explanation of what he intended there (even if he did almost fucking wreck himself in the process, the dumbass 💜). Meaning he was in the know of that kind of stuff and I doubt he learned it in the Dark Age. Meaning he was raised that way.

ANYWAY I actually think about this a fair bit (because Timur and I am constantly rotating the blessed man in my head like a potato in the microwave but also,) because I Lowkey want to take some of the sort of bio-mechanical anatomy illustrations we see around the Exoscience centers and formulate a big back tattoo design for Timur. Like, heart-lungs-spine or such that would definitely scream CB aesthetic if you knew it but maybe he wouldn’t having never landed himself on Europa etc. but! I digress.

Generally, I’d like to think Risen don’t change as much as some, like Osiris, worry between lives. Idk what it’s attached to, but I guess I have some belief that there’s some integral personhood that sticks around through rezzes or resets or timelines or whatever.

Don’t ask me what the fuck that means or how it works with Banshee tho.

i find the people that claim topmew have never played games with each other and get mad at other people for saying that so funny because like my brother in christ their first date was literally a laser tag game where they were shooting at each other and talking about how to trick each other and ended with them not even being official anymore at the end. like what do YOU think that means

So! I've been working on the My Home(TM) kitchen in Design Home, and I've got it juuuuust about perfect (or as much as it can be within the limited options of design home), but I keep going back and forth on which rug I want. And then I thought, why not ask tumblr? So, behold:

Option 1:

I've always wanted a yellow kitchen, but there was no option to make the walls yellow in design home, so a nice bright yellow rug seems like a good compromise. However, my yellow/multicolor floral accent chair doesn't shine as well against this background.

Option 2:

The blue complements the rest of the kitchen well and gives my table and chairs a solid background to pop against. However, I worry it makes the room too dark and the color palette too cool for my goal of a bright, sunshiney kitchen.

Option 3:

Purple is my favorite color (quelle surprise if you know me at all, lol) and it's a good inbetween tone-wise I think. However, I worry the pattern of this rug is a touch busy.

If you pick the fourth one, you're legally obligated to tell me what rug you're thinking of. Also legal disclaimer that I am not bound by the results of this poll and I'll probably make up my mind on my own eventually, but I'm curious to see how things shake out, and also I lowkey wanted to show off my home designing.

Heroblight Ganon and Cucco Zelda. 

I want to make clear that Link’s spirit has been evicted from his body, and that’s Ganondorf’s consciousness that has taken residence within it, so the character technically isn’t an evil Link.

Ganondorf doesn’t actually like being in Link’s body very much. He misses being tall, and buff, and not constantly hungry. Zelda takes offense to this, because at least he’s not poultry, thank you very much.

About Link’s injuries: While fleeing from the rampaging Guardians 100 years ago, Link tried to block a laser blast with his shield, and while his reflexes saved his life, his left arm was still severed, and the flaming debris from his exploded shield burned his face and ear. The Sheikah managed to recover the arm and put it in the Shrine of resurrection with him, which reattached it, but while it’s still useable there isn’t much feeling in it, and his left eye is blind (Ganondorf compensates for this with the Malice Eye in the helmet). The malice on his face covers the burn scars and clouded eye.
