I love how many formal portraits I find in which people included their cats. 📸❤️ Ca. 1890 - 1900. Source.

Gilded Age Garden Set
This set is inspired by The Gilded Age tv series, based on the January CC poll. This will probably not be my last Gilded Age themed set, there are so many amazing hats and hairstyles! Enjoy :)

Recently I was lucky to see Moulin Rouge the Musical and I absolutely loved the production design. While most of the 1890s settings are richly jewel coloured to fit the Moulin Rouge atmosphere, there's a scene where two of the characters go for a walk on the promenade, which in stark contrast is made up of lovely pastel shades. Since the 1890s are one of my favourite decades for fashion, I immediately knew I had to create an inspired lookbook.

I was in need of boater hats for my boys to cover their heads in warm weather. Too tired to search the internet and in an intense fit of procrastination I decided to create my first custom content!
“Keep reading” to Download:
The hat is not perfect (e.g. doesn’t fit many female hair meshes), but it includes classic colours that are true to its worn era (1880s-1920s). Men didn’t wear light coloured boaters which were rather worn by women and children. Of course mix and match however you like.
