when things go so badly all you can do is laugh

I really enjoyed the technical for the singular reason that all the bakers found humor in the disasterous results. It went so badly for everyone that everybody just broke out laughing. It uplifted my spirits to see them find the funny side to everything instead of feeling terrible about themselves for failing to execute Paul's stupid demands. Because sometimes finding the humor in a situation is the only way to make it through.

They laughed and they laughed together.

I love this baking family who are becoming tight knit right before my eyes!

It wasn’t just a laugh. He was giggling. He was literally physically adjusting himself because he was laughing. A wide-grinned and teeth showing smile. His face was red. He was wiggling his fingers to try and keep himself from laughing. But when this little girl is behind him laughing and prodding at him, how can he not? And him fully giving into that laughter just makes her laugh more which, in turn, makes him laugh more. While momentary, he is happy right now. He’s experiencing joy, even. Sure, it faded soon enough. But this moment? When they’re trying to sleep and probably at a time of night where laughter is easier to come by, no matter who you are, it’s easier. They’re not running or fighting or surviving or killing. They’re in the comfort of each other! And they get to just be for the night. And because of her, because of some stupid dad joke she memorized from her book, he laughs. Something she’s wanted to accomplish from day one. A not a blow-air-out-of-your-nose laugh. A real laugh. And she got it. And he, for probably the first time in a long time, got restful sleep.

I think all the blogs are still here. Some may have switched names, and some may be inactive. I haven't been as active myself with posts and shenanigans because real life has been amazing, but busy.

@whosthisfkingguy and I are still drumming up silly crazy stuff though....mainly for our own amusement and sometimes as an unhealthy coping mechanism. Sometimes here, sometimes via our texts 😂 occasionally we rope in others...like @aninnocentpervert 😂😂
