So I know I haven't been online for like two weeks or possibly longer but I am back (kinda) and I come bearing a shitty drabble inspired by THIS post because ever since seeing it for the first time it hasn't left me alone.

Funnel cake turned into ice cream but whatever. Also Bobby as a longsuffering sidekick because I love Bobby, ok.

“Johnny, you can’t be serious!” Bobby hissed at his friend, trying to steer the blond away from the ice cream kiosk and, most importantly, the middle aged man Johnny was trying to chat up. “Come on, let’s go.”

“Fine”, Johnny sighed and followed him, but not before giving the old man a long look over his shoulder that spoke volumes. Bobby could swear he saw the man blush.

“Are you crazy?!” he exclaimed immediately out of earshot. “His older kid looks like she’s not much younger than us!”

Johnny just shrugged, pouting.

“Maybe I just wanted a free ice cream.”

☔is there a fic concept you have that you'd like to just explain and share because you're not sure you'll ever write it? If so, what is it?

i do have one. i hope to write it some day but i wanted to write a samtory fic in the future where sam kind of has a falling out with her parents, drops out of college and kind of has the worst time ever. she comes back to the valley after a while and robby invites her to stay at his place, which he shares with tory since they got married. tory has since then had a totally different life from sam, she became a lot more successful, she has a pretty normal life but seeing sam reawakens a lot of hidden desire and anger.

anyway, it’s a sort of samtory if they were lawrusso fic but with robby in the middle (who doesn’t know it yet but who is aro ace and kind of got married because he thought that’s what people did?)

in the background, johnny and miguel are doing great, miguel went to college and came back to work as a sensei in the miyagi-fang dojo for a bit. daniel is still married to amanda, still extremely repressed and also very unhappy since sam cut communications with him. sam’s return provokes a lot of réalisations for a lot of people and daniel finds himself understanding that he’s been in love with johnny for a long time.

i want to write it very badly but it would be sooooooo long.

3 ships: I guess they probably shouldn’t all be from the same fandom, huh? Because if so, it would just be my usual cycle of Lawrusso, Dutch/Johnny, and Johnny/Lyle. 😂 Those are the ones that live in my head rent free.

But if I have to pick ships from other fandoms...guess I’ll go with Stranger Things and Steddie, and IWTV and Loustat. 

1st ever ship: Look, I’m old. I honestly don’t remember. Xena/Gabrielle was one of the first to come to mind. And again, Louis/Lestat. Everything really does come back around, I guess.

Currently reading: Mostly just fic. I have a stack of unread books, but I just can’t summon the energy to start on any of them.

Last movie: Finally got around to watching Glass Onion over the weekend, which I really enjoyed. I need to rewatch it soon. And on New Year’s Eve, I rewatched Chicago. It’d been a few years since my last watch, so that was fun. Screaming along to “Cell Block Tango” is always therapeutic, lmao.

Currently consuming: Coffee. Trying to get my brain to function enough to write, but so far it’s not working.

Currently watching: Nothing really. I’ve got a Spurs-Knicks game on in the background, but I’m not actually paying attention. It’s close, but I know the Spurs will choke by the end of it, anyway. As for series, I haven’t started anything new recently. I keep thinking I’ll watch Wednesday, or maybe go back and finally watch Black Sails, but I haven’t found the motivation yet.

Currently craving: A freeze from Dutch Bros. Yeah, I’ve got coffee, but I want coffee I didn’t have to make myself. 😂

SPN: Sabriel. I mean like, there are people who ship Sam and Gabriel and then there are people who are wrong ahahahha xD

No but seriously, their character beats mirror each other, they are little brothers who got forced into situations they don’t wanna be in. Besides, tho Sam and Dean are the protagonists, the writers favored Dean that he became de facto the main character. Gabriel is one of the very few characters in the whole series who paid primary attention to Sam. I dunno, i ticks me, every time I think of I am done with this fandom I get fond feelings over them

Cobra Kai: Lawrusso. Oh my fucking god with these karate trainwrecks xDD No but, they kinda compliment each other too. Neither of them is completely stable in the head, Johnny is more outwardly trash, but sometimes I am like, you know, Daniel is kinda sad sod too xD Plus admire balls to the walls lets ruin our lived over karate kinda attitude. Mach made in karate heaven, I mean, what are the changes of finding that person who is just equally as fucking wild about the special interest. Besides I started karate classes myself because of these motherfuckers.

Jago & Litefoot: Prof. Litefoot/Mr. Jago :D I man, what I can even say, other than list Chronoclasm and tell me Litefoot didn’t just like declare his love in action right there. Not mention the the triangle drama with vampire, couple shenanigans on the run or in another universe. Jago was crying when he though Litefoot was stuck in that snowglobe and giving a full I love you speech. Only reason thy might not be in the books as canon is the fact that they’re both Victorian idiots who can’t express their emotions right.

Last song? Kiss from a Rose by Seal. I’ve been listening the Soundtrack album for Batman Forever on repeat for couple weeks now, I dunno. Gives me the feels.

Last movie? I watched the Puss in Boots in theaters. That was quite honestly the best movie of the year, not gonna lie.

Currently consuming: I have some sugar free ginger soda I bought from post xmas sale.

Currently watching: I am in the middle of Sophmore year on D20′s Fantasy High, even though I know I am not even getting more content for my shipping feels xD

Currently reading: I got a vintage edition o Yrjö Kokko’s fairytale Pessi & Illusia about a little troll boy and a fairy and that’s a classic. 

Currently craving: I just really want to eat all the sweet stuff, candy and chocolate and whatnot, but I am trying to be healthy so like. Suprssing those feels I guess.

3 ships: Lawrusso...uh...hmm...it feels silly if they’re all CK/TKK but I guess I’ve been enjoying writing lawguichi and I assume I’ll enjoy whatever I write next. Uh but I guess that’s sort of phoning it in so I do always enjoy Hannigram and I was going to pick an anime ship but then like twenty jumped to the forefront of my mind all of a sudden like opening a can of joke peanuts so I’ll just pick Tiger and Bunny though I haven’t watched the new season and I think I missed a movie.

1st ever ship: I’m wracking my brain for that one I honestly don’t remember. Like I remember my first fanfiction I ever read because an upperclassman just printed out a fic and shoved it in my hands and was like read this and it was sonic/shadow and I was like wtf is this? Currently reading: Comments so I can respond to them. I’m behind by five pages I think. But I’ve got an 8 hour train ride ahead of me, actually longer because then I have to take another one home. So I’m hoping to catch up though I also brought magazines and a little kids coloring book that my cousin gave me when I went to her kids birthday party. 😂 Also reading job postings and applying for as many of those as possible. Trying to be productive.

But the actual book I’m reading atm is Queen of Shadows, we’ve been slowly trudging through the series for book club. My app says I’ve got 6 hours left, those books are massive which you don’t notice until you hold the physical book in your hands, and since I’m reading them on an app I never notice.

Last movie: Bad Moms, I’d already seen it but my sisters wanted to watch something so I watched it while doing other things. I’m hoping to watch the new Matilda movie when I get home tonight, I saw the show in London a long time ago and am curious how it compares. Plus Matilda is like my childhood favorite book/movie/story.

Currently consuming: Starbucks mocha frappuccino and some pumpkin scones from a mix I made a couple of days ago.

Currently watching: I just finished Letterkenny and Wednesday and tried picking up Leverage Redemption again but it’s got annoying ads every five seconds so I don’t know if I’ll make it very far so I started The Bear.

Currently craving: a full time job and my own place. 😅 Freedom and independence I suppose is what that boils down to. So we’ll see how it goes this year. every fandom has the gay person’s straight ship. aka the straight ship that is so legitimately good and valid that people don’t ship it just because it’s straight and in the show.

for cobra kai it’s robby/tory (and damanda for the parent crowd)

for stranger things it’s lumax (and, in some cases, chrissy/eddie. i said what i said)

for hsmtmts it’s gina/ej. point blank period portwell is so good

i’ve been meaning to say this for a minute but like i think people in the st fandom should--what’s the word--acknowledge fanon content more, and like allow people to ship what they want (to an extent, guys) etc.

maybe it’s because i’ve been in a lot of fandoms where we relied on fanon content to carry the fandom (which is why i left sanders sides lol) but i think that stranger things is so rooted to it’s theories and whatever current ship is being portrayed, that people feel the need to shut others down in their fanon content.

for example, is steddie going to happen? most likely not, they’re going down the (imho basic) route of stancy. does that mean that no one should ship steddie or make content of them, and that the ship is inherently bad, because it’s not in the show? absolutely not.

concepts of things (especially ships) is what encourages creativity and content. i actually think the concept of mileven is pretty cool (but the way they show it in the show makes me not want to root for them). basically, just because a ship isn’t canon, that doesn’t mean we shouldn’t like them or make content about it. that’s literally what fandom is for.

for all of the ej slander we have endured this season, i am willing to accept an apology in one of four ways:

1.) ej gets an emotional scene in which he breaks down and has a heartfelt song dedicated to him, like all of the other struggling characters have gotten thus far (some have gotten multiple songs).

2.) ej gets a hot villain bop in which he corrupts the entire show as a last screw you all to the cast who has been nothing but inconsiderate of him

3.) ej gets a heartfelt ballad in which we can all begin to sympathize for him until it takes a sickening turn into a hot villain bop

"J-Johnny… I didn't want to talk about this over voicemail, but you aren't really giving me a choice. I found out yesterday that I have Breast Cancer." There was a pause.

"I-I'm dying, Johnny. Please call me. We need to talk about what's going to happen to our son."

When Shannon is diagnosed with cancer, Johnny decides to step back into eight-year-old Robby’s life. As if learning how to be a dad isn’t hard enough, Robby’s new best friend is Sam LaRusso, the daughter of Johnny’s greatest enemy.
