— they recognize one of the zombies as their girlfriend
Tumblr media
pairing! aouad men x f! reader
warnings! zombies, blood, death, angst, swearing, hurt/no comfort, violence
note! this sat in my drafts for over a month 😭 i'm really sorry for not writing these days, school has been giving out tons of work lately and exams 😐 just happened a few weeks ago. writer's block added up to my problems too 🙄
Tumblr media
LEE CHEONG-SAN
cheong-san and su-hyeok were fighting the zombies trying to get near them as the others attempted to open the rooftop's door when suddenly a familiar face came into view, cheong-san froze when he saw yoon gwi-nam holding his now infected girlfriend by the collar of her uniform, he turned to the group who was trying to open the door as he tried to convince himself that he's just hallucinating.
but luck wasn't on his side as he didn't spot her, while gwi-nam smirked devilishly "what kind of boyfriend are you? leaving your girlfriend there to turn into one of them" the bully says as the other man's breath hitched, this caught the attention of the rest of the group, as they all turned around to see y/n in gwi-nam's hold.
gwi-nam threw the girl towards cheong-san as she tried to bite her boyfriend, gwi-nam squatted beside them and pushed y/n's head close to cheong-san's neck while he tried to take cheong-san's eye.
y/n was suddenly pulled back by su-hyeok causing her to get thrown towards the wall, su-hyeok was about to throw her off when cheong-san stopped him "NO! DON'T YOU DARE HURT HER YOU ASSHOLE! GIMME HER" cheong-san attempted to take his girlfriend out of his friend's grasp but it was no use as gwi-nam suddenly pulled cheong-san back towards him "YOUR SWEET LITTLE Y/N IS NOW DEAD! SO JUST GIVE ME YOUR FUCKING EYE ALREADY" su-hyeok took the opportunity and threw her back into the crowd of zombies
HAN GYEONG-SU
it happened in the science lab. when they all entered and he locked the door, he went to hug his girlfriend but to his surprise she wasn't there. looking around he didn't see a glimpse of her at all
"hey hey- where the hell is y/n?!" everyone panicked at his words and began to look around and even under the tables "crap. fuck...fuck fuck fuck she's not here"
he turned around to the door's window and there he got a glimpse of his grey hoodie that she borrowed in the morning. gyeong-su felt his heart drop when he saw the heart shaped necklace dangling around the zombie's neck, it was the necklace he gave y/n for her birthday.
he walked towards the door and put his hand against the glass, tears that he was trying so badly to hold back were now starting to fall "y/n...i'm sorry. i'm sorry for not protecting you. i'm sorry for breaking our promise" the group stared at him with sadness filling their eyes
"cheong-san...will you do me a favor?" he asked while his hands slid down the door's 'handle' making his best friend panic "hey! what the hell are you planning?!"
gyeong-su shook his head as a bittersweet chuckle left his lips "i'm going for y/n ok? you...survive with the others! so do me a favor and close the door as quick as you could" he smiled before opening the door just big enough for him to be able to get out but not enough for the zombies to go in
everything happened so quickly that cheong-san didn't even get a chance to speak but the last thing they saw was gyeong-su hugging y/n as the girl and other zombies bit him and while all that happened, gyeong-su was smiling as he pressed a kiss on his infected girlfriend's forehead
LEE SU-HYEOK
su-hyeok was holding cheong-san from behind to prevent him from running towards his infected mother but his grip weakened when he saw a familiar bracelet on the floor
completely forgetting the situation they're in, he takes the bracelet in his grasp and examines it and sure enough it belonged to his girlfriend. he stood up and looked around, hanging onto the last thin string of hope that his girl, the love of his life was still alive
but that string snapped when he turned around and saw a bloodied oh so familiar looking female zombie walking towards him, she's still pretty, that's the first thing that came to his mind when he saw her walking towards him
while the group was distracted and no other zombie seemed to noticed them he slowly walked towards y/n's figure, she attempted to bite him but someone suddenly hit her at the back of her head which startled him
when y/n's body fell he saw nam-ra holding a pipe, their class president leaned down and was about to break y/n's neck but su-hyeok stopped her from doing so
"don't" he exclaims and pulled nam-ra away from y/n's figure that was starting to stand once more, confusion was evident in nam-ra's face "spare her. we'll leave her here just- just don't kill her" su-hyeok says and pushed nam-ra to join the rest of the group that was now starting to run up the hill
a few zombies were starting to get near them but he took y/n's bracelet that fell on the ground and gave his infected girlfriend one last glance before running up the hill "i'm so sorry for not protecting you my love" he mutters to himself
YOON GWI-NAM
gwi-nam took a deep breath, inhaling the scent of blood and corpses. he looked around watching his infected schoolmates and classmates walk around the field, looking for something to eat
he laughed but when he heard a scream echo from the bathroom he felt as if he forgot how to breath, normally this won't affect him. he'd either laugh about how stupid the person is for screaming or run towards the sound to quench his thirst
but no, he didn't do any of those because the voice sounded awfully familiar and he didn't like it. not one bit.
slowly, he walked towards the bathroom.
"y/n?" he hears a thud along with soft growls which made him more worried than he already was. though it seemed impossible, he still had a small and thin string of hope
he was lost in trance, scared to go inside the female's restroom. but his train of thoughts were interrupted when someone bumped into his chest which caused him to look down, worry once again engulfing his body when he remembered what he went here for
his heart fell upon seeing her, his girlfriend.
she didn't deserve any of this. the world really is cruel. his first love, the first person who made him feel loved and appreciated had to experience all this torture while he just had to be lucky enough to be able to live.
sure, he felt happy being able to survive but what was he supposed to do? who was he supposed to protect? who was he supposed to love?
"why didn't i find you sooner, i'm a selfish bastard ain't i love?" he mutters to y/n who was plainly staring up at him after a few failed attempts of trying to go out of the restroom. he watched y/n stroll away, walking around the bathroom while he pushed the culprit that bit his beloved out of the room before shutting the door close.
he sat down and watched her walk around mindlessly, his head dropped down as tears started streaming down his blood stained face "fate is such a dangerous fucking game"
OH JOON-YEONG
due to the group being in such a hurry when entering the music room they failed to notice the two zombies inside, one being under the piano while the other was trapped to the corner by a table, cabinet and a few chairs
they were talking about what they were going to do with nam-ra. however while the others were arguing whether to kill her or let her stay, joon-yeong got distracted when he noticed the curtain that was somehow hanged in the corner slowly being pulled down
"hey guys- the curtain is-" his words caught the attention of the others but he stopped mid-sentence when the curtain fell. his mouth felt dry, shock engulfing him. it felt as if he was dumped with ice cold water when he remembered that his girlfriend ran after na-yeon, along with ms.park
the others were confused when joon-yeong's expression changed from being shocked, sad then irritated
there were tears in his eyes but the anger and irritation he felt for himself for allowing y/n to go out and na-yeon for probably killing his girlfriend
the others turned to look at where joon-yeong's gaze was, all of them practically turning into ice when they saw their now infected friend trying to get out of the restrains
nam-ra stood up and took a few steps near y/n. her breath hitched when she managed to smell na-yeon's scent from y/n's clothing
"na-yeon...she killed y/n" nam-ra confirms joon-yeong's suspicion making the said boy ruffle his hair out of frustration with tears streaming down his face as he did
it felt as if he was going nuts. he didn't know if it was from the pain or anger but he was sure that he wanted to kill someone and make their loved ones feel the exact pain he felt at the moment
JANG WOO-JIN
"i'm sorry" ha-ri says, she hugged her brother who was sobbing his heart out as he refused to believe what he just saw. his friends watched with sadness, they knew how much y/n meant to woo-jin considering how he never really stopped talking about her
woo-jin sobbed, memories with y/n replaying in his mind especially the last memory he spent with her
"WOO-JIN!" y/n yelled cheerfully when she spotted her boyfriend enter the gym, some of her teammates teased her while the others whined about wanting a supportive boyfriend as well
y/n just laughed at them and ran towards her boyfriend
"did you eat already?" she asked as she wrapped her arms around woo-jin's neck, the man nodded and raised a plastic bag near her face which contained her favorite beverage, a bottle of water and her favorite snack
woo-jin kissed her nose before her lips "here, i know you haven't yet" y/n lets go of woo-jin as she took the plastic from her boyfriend "thank you!" she exclaims
"don't go too hard on yourself alright? i have to get back to the classroom before class starts" he says, y/n nods with a smile. she was about to go back to her team but she noticed woo-jin staring at her with a mocking pout
she laughed and playfully rolled her eyes before kissing the man who did not hesitate to kiss back, they stayed like that for a couple of seconds before pulling away "love you" she whispers "love you too" and with that he walked back to his classroom with a smile
"what if...i stayed? what if i stayed here then maybe she would be safe in here!" he says between sobs, ha-ri could only stare at him. she wanted to tell him not to blame himself but she knew that her brother was too stubborn to listen to her because, he only listents and calms down when y/n assures him, she thought to herself as a tear made it's way down her cheeks
YANG DAE-SU
one of the things they didn't need during this kind of situation was to argue with someone but here they are arguing with coach kang
when coach kang caught a glimpse of dae-su he laughed mockingly before pointing at the student "you! you're- what's her name? AH! y/n, y/n l/n. you're her boyfriend right?" dae-su nodded, a sudden rush of worry and suspicion washing over him when coach kang mentioned her name
"what did you do to her?!" on-jo asked almost immediately which made coach kang smirk "oh nothing..i just bumped into her while she was running around the halls, looking for her lovely boyfriend"
it felt as if cold water had been poured down on him, he had had forgotten something in the classroom which is why he came back leaving y/n to wait for him in the cafeteria but it seemed that she ran out the moment she noticed some students acting weird
and after a few seconds of trying to process the situation the last bit of hope he had left when his friends didn't allow him to come out of the classroom the moment he entered as they assured him that y/n would be somewhere safe nearly snapped
"some boyfriend are you" coach kang mocked before his nose started to bleed, although he was already in the process of becoming a zombie it seemed that he was really determined to get into his students' heads as he said a few more words that could snap the students' string of hope
coach kang pointed at the door "look" they turned to where he was pointing at "it's her" and there revealed a teary eyed y/n but a look of relief was present on her face when her eyes came in contact with dae-su's
they quickly took the chairs and tables away from the door as coach kang started to turn before he bit min-ji on her lip. with cheong-san blocking coach kang, dae-su had to hold min-ji back from running towards their friends
dae-su threw min-ji to the ground before running towards the open door and dragging y/n along with them before she could protest. y/n's vision turned red making her halt, upon hearing a few growls that were getting near them at an awfully quick pace she placed a peck dae-su's lip before letting go of his hand
"stay safe for me ok?"
fear once again washed over him "what?"
"promise to stay safe for me" she repeated with a bittersweet smile as she pulled her sleeve up slightly to reveal the bite mark on her lower arm
"DAE-SU! Y/N! COME ON TO THE SCIENCE LAB!" woo-jin and joon-yeong yelled as they quickly walked down the stairs, y/n smiled and showed them the bite mark before running down the stairs and distracting the zombies that were on their way up
dae-su wanted to refuse, he didn't want to believe what was going on but with y/n shooting him a smile from down the stairs before completely becoming one of the infected he knew he had no choice
in the science lab, dae-su stared down at his fingers as y/n's words replayed in his head
promise to stay safe for me she didn't even ask it, it was more like she demanded it. he nodded to himself before he lets out a breath and he never breaks his promises. no wonder why y/n told him to promise, so he wouldn't give up

“Gyeong-su…” You heard Cheong-san say from behind you but it was like you were hearing it from underwater. The only thing you could hear was the sound of your own heartbeat.
And the thoughts that Gyeong-su might not have one soon.
As Gyeong-su wiped his nose to find it bleeding, he brought his hands up to see black and purpled prominent veins growing from underneath the cuff of his undershirt and he looked at them in shock, shaking his head and mumbling indistinctly.
He stood up and breathed shakily as he tried to speak while his chair skid across the flooring. “Hey, hey. What’s wrong with me? Something’s wrong!”
You stood up from your chair and stood in front of him. You grabbed his hands and he looked you in the eyes. You nearly started sobbing on the spot as you saw the whites of his eyes turning red but swallowed down the lump in your throat before smiling at him.
“Y-yo…” you tried the first time but couldn’t get the words out so you cleared your throat and tried again. “You just need a t-tissue. It’ll be okay.”
He nodded as tears filled his eyes. The both of you knew you were lying but it was okay to be delusional sometimes… right?
He’d be okay… right?
If you just kept repeating that then he would be okay.
Everything was fine.
Gyeong-su was fine.
You were fine.
Right?
You frowned as you heard the scurrying of footsteps behind you while you reached into your pocket to grab one of the crumpled tissues you had from earlier and gave it to him but he couldn’t seem to grab it and it dropped to the floor.
“It’s not true…” You heard Cheong-san say from behind you yet you kept all of your focus on the boy who was in front of you.
“Come on. Get rid of him. Get rid of him now!” You heard Na-yeon scream and just as you were about to yell at her to shut up you felt someone grab you by the hand and pull you away from the boy.
“No, no…!” You tried to complain and weakly pulled against the hands restraining you, already knowing who it was. “Su-hyeok, he’s not. Gyeong-su’s not! I was with him for half an hour, he’s not!” You tried your best to convince him and looked up at him just to see him trying to keep a straight face while tears filled his eyes. “No!”
“Gyeong-su, stay where you are!” You heard On-jo say from behind you which brought your attention back to the group as Gyeong-su had rushed forward but everyone stepped back into a corner to try and avoid him like the plague. “Stay back!”
“I swear, I’m fucking not!” Gyeong-su begged and your heart broke at hearing the confidence in his words faltering.
“I’m sorry, Gyeong-su. Please, stay back.”
You watched as the remaining bit of hope in Gyeong-su’s eyes vanished like a flame being doused by water. “I’ve turned, right?” He asked, his voice quivering. “Cheong-san, what do I do?” He begged for guidance that none of you could provide, especially not Cheong-san who was dealing with the fact that his lifelong best friend was about to die at the hands of a virus that turned the kindest of souls into a flesh eating monster.
“No, no. This doesn’t make any sense. Why would you…” He started, just as confused and in denial as you were when On-jo came up from behind him and tried to pull him away.
“Cheong-san…!” She begged but he just yanked his hand back.
“Let go!” His voice broke as he was finally coming to terms with what was written in blood red ink in front of him. “This cannot be true. Why would you suddenly…?” He shook his head, false certainty refilling his voice as he stepped towards his friend. “No, no. Gyeong-su you weren’t-”
“Step away. Don’t come any closer!” Gyeong-su yelled as he ran backwards in an attempt to put distance between his friend and himself. You stopped struggling against Su-hyeok’s hold a while ago and just let him hug you to his chest while you watched in shock.
“B-but, you were fine. Gyeong-su, you were fine!” You tried to convince him and yourself when suddenly his neck cracked to the side.
Na-yeon looked around frantically as everyone stood there in shock as their friend turned right before their eyes. “Hey! What are you doing?” She sputtered out. “We need to kick him out! We’re all gonna die!” She screamed and you suddenly found the voice you’d lost before.
“Shut up! He-” your voice dropped from its screaming tone to one barely above being completely silent. “He just needs a tissue.”
“W-what’s happening…? Fuck!” You could hear Gyeong-su desperately get out as he gripped his head like it was pounding.
Na-yeon ran over to the door and yanked the umbrella away that was blocking it from being opened. “Get out. I said, get out!”
“Shut the fuck up!” He screamed before discovering a newfound determination within himself. “I’ll leave by myself! I’ll leave. I’ll go on my own!” He started sobbing. “Why would I bite you? We’re supposed to be fucking friends. If I… If I leave, it will be better for everyone.”
Every step he took towards the door you could feel more of your hope for him to be okay being lost.
“Gyeong-su,” Ms. Park spoke up and you looked over to see she had walked forward to the front of the group to speak to him directly. “Why don’t you just go into the recording room until we can figure out-”
Na-yeon interrupted her before she could finish. “If he stays in here he’s going to kill us all!”
“Na-yeon!” Your teacher screamed at her.
“I’m just trying to stay alive,” she whimpered out.
“I’ll leave. I’ll get out of here on my own,” Gyeong-su grunted out while breathing heavily and staggering towards the door, using the table and chair on his way to support him. He turned to look at everyone around him but his gaze stopped on your shocked one for a moment. “Don’t worry,” he started sobbing more and your vision started to get blurry with unshed tears. “I’ll get out of here.”
“Gyeong-su!” Cheong-san begged as his own eyes filled with tears that had yet to stain his cheeks. His lips quivered as he tried to remain strong in front of the group.
“It’s okay. Thank you for everything. Stay alive.”
Right as he tried to open the door to leave, he turned around and started looking at all of you in terror while thrashing around and mumbling things under his breath before his body contorted in strange directions, his bones creaking and breaking until he stood up and let out an unnatural roar and growled at all of you. Dae-su started walking towards him and both you and Su-hyeok tried to grab his arm to pull him back, knowing your friend was gone, until he shook you off and rushed forward when Gyeong-su’s empty shell of a body charged at the group standing by the speakers. He threw him against the table in an attempt to save himself as well as his classmates. Just as the monster who you briefly viewed as your friend was about to attack again, the sound of a familiar tune filled the air.
While everyone was focused on the fight, Cheong-san had managed to raise himself onto the window and grabbed a hold of the rope, hanging off the side of the building with only that to support him. He sang their tune, the tune of Auld Lang Syne, and the body of his old friend came rushing toward him before Cheong-san jumped out of the way just in time.
The group had sat in shock for a while until some started to cry. Cheong-san had gone into the recording room and threw the table to the ground in a fit of emotional turmoil. On-jo had walked up to the door for a moment before deciding to walk back and to just give him space.
A gut feeling told you space was the last thing he needed right now.
You walked away from the spot you had been leaning against the wall with Su-hyeok. You had been comforting him on the loss of his friend as you knew he was grieving right now and didn’t want to focus on your own pain. He and Dae-su had hugged and were currently exchanging tissues.
That was what you had learned to do the best. Block out the pain. Be the emotionless girl everyone knew and few loved.
You walked over to the recording studio’s door before taking a deep breath and walking in. You took slow steps as you entered and saw Cheong-san sitting right underneath the large window on the wall of the door. He’d been crying until you walked in, that much was clear by his red eyes, glistening cheeks, and sniffles. He’d wiped them away and turned to look in the other direction of you. You walked over to him and sat next to him against the wall. You both sat in silence for a few moments before he spoke.
“I’m fine, if that’s why you’re here. You can leave now,” he spoke rather harshly but this time it didn’t affect you as you knew he was on stage 2 of grief.
Anger.
“Go,” he told you, his voice breaking at the end and he pointed towards the door where you came from but you just looked at his hand before looking up to him.
You sighed and felt your nose and eyes stinging but pushed it down.
“You don’t have to be strong with me, you know?” He was taken aback by your words and looked visibly confused. You sighed before looking down at your fingers where they were playing with the hem of your vest. “I know none of you like me, and most of you think I’m like my brother,” you took a deep breath before you built the courage to look back into his eyes which looked even more astonished than before. “But in the short amount of time that I spent with Gyeong-su in this recording studio,” you gestured to the mess in front of you as you looked at the book and string Gyeong-su had been playing with before everything went down, now places in the corner of the room. “I’d like to believe I was able to call him my friend, and I’d like to be able to call you one too,” you looked back up at him once again to see tears had once again gathered along his waterline and he was looking at you with his lips quivering as he still tried to hold back his emotions. “So I’ll say it again,” you grabbed his hand from where it was resting on his knee and gave it a friendly and comforting squeeze. “You don’t have to be strong with me, Cheong-san.”
There were a few moments where the two of you sat there and stared into each other’s eyes before a teardrop streaked down his cheek. Another followed after that one, and then another, and then another, until he had started sobbing and you brought him into a hug while hiding your own tears which slipped onto his shirt. You didn’t say anything, you couldn’t even try to think of something to say in a situation as bizarre as this one. You just held him in his time of grief.
After a few minutes when Cheong-san had calmed down, he wiped his eyes with his sleeve and pulled away from you. Standing up, he lowered a hand down to you so he could help you up and you gave him a small smile as you accepted it.
The two of you walked out and Cheong-san gave you a smile before walking over to lean against the window, looking out onto the field. This time you let him be alone as you walked over to sit down next to Su-hyeok who was on the ground. You mirrored his position with your legs bent and your arms resting on your knees. Your shoulders were grazing ever so slightly and he leaned over to bump into your shoulder ever so gently. You looked over to him and he smiled at you. You couldn’t handle the softness in his gaze so you blushed and looked away, knocking your own shoulder into his as he laughed lightly.
“That asshole,” you heard Dae-su sob after a little while when the grieving atmosphere set in again. “Gyeong-su, why did you have to turn?”
Na-yeon opened her mouth and you just knew what she was going to say next would piss you off. “I told you all. He was infected.”
“Well, are you happy now?” Dae-su said as he looked at her in despair, you quickly stood up and put a hand on his shoulder, squeezing lightly. He looked back at you and had a bit of a shocked look which you internally rolled your eyes at but stopped when he put one of his hands on top of the one you had resting on his shoulder. You smiled softly but it fell immediately when Na-yeon started talking again.
“You were all wrong. Only I was right. What would you even do without me?” Your head snapped over to her.
“Na-yeon. If you know what’s good for you, you’ll shut up and let us mourn the loss of our friend. Don’t be heartless on top of being a bitch,” you told her and just as you looked back at Dae-su, you saw her roll her eyes and scoff.
Just as you were about to talk again, Nam-ra started speaking. “Hey,” she paused and you looked over at her. “Maybe you did it.”
“What?” Na-yeon questioned her in an annoyed tone.
Nam-ra grabbed everyone’s attention as she walked over until she was standing right in front of Na-yeon’s sitting form.
“I saw everything… Na-yeon,” Nam-ra told her, accusing her of something that had yet to be revealed.
Na-yeon stood up to be face to face with the class president. “What? What did you see?” She asked and seemed to get on the defensive quickly which had suspicion rising in your gut.
“You are the one who did it,” Nam-ra revealed, yet everyone was still confused.
“Who did what? I didn’t do anything to Gyeong-su,” she defended.
“I didn’t say anything about Gyeong-su,” Nam-ra told her, which kind of confused you.
It’s kind of inferred because we were talking about his death less than a minute ago, but okay.
“Knock it off!” Na-yeon told her, raising her voice a little.
“What are you talking about?” Wu-jin asked as Su-hyeok and Cheong-san - who were both minding their business - turned to look at the scene.
“I didn’t do anything,” Na-yeon insisted.
“While we were all watching Gyeong-su, you were in the back alone,” your friend explained, then turned and pointed at the broken mop that laid against one of the cabinets in the room. “You wiped that blood with your handkerchief.”
She hesitated before replying in a shaky and slightly fearful voice. “No, I didn’t.”
“You wiped that on the scratch on Gyeong-su’s hand.”
At Nam-ra’s explanation, everyone had a shocked look on their faces, unable to comprehend that their classmate was the cause of their friend’s death. Even you had nothing to say and your hand went limp on Dae-su’s shoulder, only being held there by his own, which tightened on yours.
“I did not,” Na-yeon tried again to defend herself but it was getting less and less convincing as Nam-ra was insistent on proving her to be the murderer of Gyeong-su. The innocent boy who was everything good yet died for nothing.
“It’s in your pocket,” the other girl voiced.
“So what?”
“Take it out.”
“No.”
“If you’re so innocent you’d take it out and show us,” you sneered at her and your hand closed into a fist while tightly gripping the fabric of Dae-su’s vest.
“I said no,” she insisted while looking at you and slapping away Nam-ra’s extended hand. You glared and she visibly shrunk in on herself.
“Should I take it out?” Nam-ra paused for a split second before reaching for Na-yeon’s pocket until the girl pushed her hand away and slapped her face, most likely a lot softer than she intended to.
“Fuck you! Who the hell do you think you are? Huh? Class president?” She mocked before Nam-ra sent a hard slap across her face and her head snapped to the side.
“You never treated me like president.”
Despite the situation at hand, you smirked slightly as you saw your best friend standing up for herself and just being a complete badass. You let go of Dae-su’s shoulder and went to lean against the table beside where he sat.
“Nam-ra, that’s enough!” Ms. Park exclaimed as she sped-walked up to the two girls to break up the argument. She looked back and forth across the floor as she tried to figure out what to say before continuing. “Nam-ra, do you realize what you’re saying right now? If that is true, it means Na-yeon killed Gyeong-su.”
“It’s true. Na-yeon did it,” the girl confirmed. You looked over at Cheong-san as he watched. His eyes were filled with so many conflicting emotions: anger, sadness, betrayal, remorse. “She killed him.”
Na-yeon scoffed and rolled her eyes before she reached her hand into her pocket. “You fucking cunt,” she exclaimed angrily before throwing the handkerchief in Nam-ra’s face. Dae-su had to grab ahold of your sleeve to keep you from rushing forward. “There. Happy?”
Nam-ra, who seemed unaffected by Na-yeon’s treatment, reached down to pick up the cloth from the floor and inspect it. “This is blood.”
“I wiped Gyeong-su’s hand,” she claimed and you scowled as you could see the cloth.
“This is his blood?”
“You can’t tell?”
“If it was his fucking blood there wouldn’t be that much of it, you cunt. He’d stopped bleeding 10 minutes into staying in the studio room,” you told her and her eyes flashed with fear but her expression remained the same.
“Then put it on your wound,” Nam-ra told her in an attempt to show either her innocence or her guiltiness. “Wipe yourself with it if you’re so confident.”
You could see her searching for an answer. “Like his blood is so clean? He was a zombie.”
Nam-ra threw the cloth to the floor and stepped closer to her offensively. “He was just fine until you infected him with your handkerchief.”
“Na-yeon… you-” Cheong-san started and started marching towards Na-yeon until Su-hyeok held him back.
“Damn it! It wasn’t me!” She screamed while crouching down and picking up the handkerchief, hovering it above her wound as she looked around for someone to tell her to stop, that they believed her, anything for her to not do it.
Ms. Park, ever the mediator, ran up to her and grabbed her wrist, pulling her hand and the handkerchief away from her scrape, trying to pull it from her hands but Na-yeon resisted. “Don’t do it. Stop it.”
“Let go,” she whimpered as the teacher tried to yank it from her hands.
“I said to stop it. Give it to me.”
“Leave me alone! Fuck!” Na-yeon screamed while breathing heavily. She let go of the handkerchief and stood up with teary eyes. She looked across the room at everyone, “I should just die too then, huh? That’s what you want, isn’t it?” Nobody answered and so she sighed, looking away before turning back. “Why is Gyeong-su better than me? That dirty welfie pushed me,” she whimpered.
“You little cheat!” You yelled at her while trying to rush forward but Dae-su was still holding onto your sleeve. Su-hyeok abandoned his spot as the one to hold back Cheong-san to wrap his arms around you, restricting any movement of your arms while you struggled and kicked your feet.
“Na-yeon,” Park said after a while of silence, “You didn’t…”
“So you did do it,” Cheong-san spoke, devastated, until he raised his voice to yell at her. Dae-su rushed forward to hold him back. “How could you fucking-”
“I didn’t kill him, okay?” She insisted and you could hear your heart pounding in your ears with rage. Rage and loss. “Gyeong-su fell, but he got up and ran. He’s still alive. He didn’t die, he just turned.”
“You mother fucker! They’re the exact same fucking thing!” You yelled out at the same time On-jo spoke.
“Are you kidding me right now?”
“Stop ganging up on me!” She whined and threw her hands around like a toddler having a tantrum. “When I said he smelled, you all laughed. You all made fun of him too. Don’t try to act all innocent now.”
You thrashed around harder as you felt your eyes burning and your cheeks wet and you finally realized you were crying.
It had been a while since you’d done that.
Dae-su lost his grip on Cheong-san and he ran towards Na-yeon, Su-hyeok unable to stop him because of you in his arms already.
The boy pushed the girl to the ground and breathed heavily. “How could you kill him?” He screamed while Ms. Park told him to stop it. Na-yeon kept her head down.
“You’re… a murderer.”
Her head lifted and you saw tears falling down her face but you had no sympathy at all.
“I have no friends at all,” she whimpered out.
“I wondering fucking why,” you growled.
“I don’t need any of you. Fuck you,” she then stood up and shakily walked out of the room, Wu-jin rushing after her just as the door closed and Ms. Park moved to stop him.
“Listen,” she started and you were finally released from Su-hyeok’s grip after you stopped struggling. “No matter what happens, you stay alive. Also, you must never take a life. If you cause someone else to die, life becomes meaningless.”
She looked at you all with a remorseful and fond gaze and you were sure you knew what she was about to do. “All right?”
“Ms. Park?” You whispered shakily and she looked at you with a small smile before turning and running out the room, rushing after Na-yeon.
“Ms. Park! Wait!” Dae-su yelled and ran towards the door and Wu-jin held him back to the best of his ability.
“Dae-su, don’t go!” he begged.
You had never felt so helpless. Your feet seemed to be glued to the floor and your eyes stuck to the door where she had stood only moments ago.
Dae-su started sobbing into Wu-jin’s shoulder and your heart broke for him.
“Fuck!” You heard Cheong-san scream followed by the banging of his fist against a computer. You didn’t have the energy to stop him, even though you knew if he did it too much he could seriously injure his hand.
You were sitting in the corner next to Su-hyeok who had an arm wrapped around your shoulder, pulling you into his chest as you were too much in shock to cry; again. You saw On-jo walk up to Cheong-san as he was staring out the window but you couldn’t hear their hushed whispers.
“I feel like it’s my fault,” you said suddenly, only a breath above a whisper. Su-hyeok looked down at you in surprise and confusion.
“What’s your fault?”
“Gyeong-su.”
He sat up from his leaning position against the wall, bringing you with him, and looked you in the eyes. “How is it your fault? You didn’t do anything!” He tried to convince you, still whispering so the others wouldn’t butt their way into your business .
You let out a sad laugh as you felt your nose burning. “Exactly. I didn’t fucking do anything,” you wiped your nose slightly with the back of your hand to subside the sting. “I didn’t notice what she was doing. If I only noticed and was a little more attentive then Gyeong-su would be alive! It’s my fau-”
“No,” Su-hyeok insisted as he brought your head back into his chest to keep the guilty thoughts at bay. His heartbeat worked just enough for your soul to take a breath. “No, (Y/n). It’s not your fault. How could you have possibly known what she was going to do. You didn’t need to be attentive at that moment because it was someone who was supposed to be loyal to the group and not fucking kill someone. That is not your fault. Thinking like that will just drive you insane.”
At his words, a small sob escaped your lips and your body started to shake with your silent tears as he trailed his hand up and down your back. His lips were pressed against the crown of your head as he whispered the reassurances that you were needing.
After you calmed down and wiped away the tears on your face with your sleeve, you sat up and gave Su-hyeok a grateful smile.
“Thank you,” you breathed.
“You don’t need to thank me.”
It was then you noticed how close the two of you were, faces only inches apart and you could see his eyes travel from your own down to your lips a few times. You backed away with your cheeks flushed and gave him a small smile. He seemed delighted with the effect he had on you and that made your cheeks burn even hotter.
“I’m going to go sit by Nam-ra, I haven’t really spoken to her much in the past day,” you told him, avoiding eye contact as you stood up.
“Okay,” he smiled and got up himself before winking at you and walking over to lean against the counter where Wu-jin was sitting. You took a breath to cool your cheeks and calm your nerves before going over to sit next to Nam-ra.
“Hey there, prez,” you greeted and she met you with a cheeky grin.
She nudged you in the side. “Hey there, lovergirl. How’s it like in paradise, hm?” She teased in a whispered voice and you covered your face with your hands.
“Stop that, we’re just friends!” You whined softly and she giggled for a moment until her face slowly fell back into a frown.
You didn’t want to ask if she was okay because you knew the answer would be no. Nobody was okay right now, Nam-ra wasn’t any different. Instead, you just grabbed her hand and held it in your own affectionately while she leaned her head on your shoulder.
You stayed like that for a while until Cheong-san spoke up and broke the silence. “I didn’t hear anything at all. I just couldn’t hear anything.”
“Like what?” Su-hyeok asked but Cheong-san didn’t lift his gaze from where he stared at the floor.
“I mean after Na-yeon went out and then Ms. Park went after her. I didn’t hear anything after that.”
“You mean, screaming?” Su-hyeok asked and Cheong-san finally looked up at his friend to confirm.
“Yeah.”
“Maybe they didn’t die, then. They wouldn’t have been quiet if zombies were biting them,” Dae-su spoke his thoughts. “They must be alive.”
You let out a hum of acknowledgment while everyone else stayed silent and he huffed in annoyance, feeling left out. “Why won’t you respond? No one answers me. I’m always talking to myself,” he looked down and played with his tie. You couldn’t help feeling bad even though you were the only one to acknowledge his thoughts, albeit with only a hum.
Just as you were about to say something, On-jo beat you to the punch. “I think you’re right.”
“Forget it,” Dae-su waved her off with an eye roll but she continued.
“I didn’t hear anything either.”
“Me neither,” Hyo-ryung threw in her own thoughts. “ I was scared because I didn’t know how I’d feel if I heard them screaming, but I didn’t hear anything.”
“Come to think of it, neither did I,” Joon-yeong added.
“Then I’m right. They’re alive, right?” Dae-su asked and Joon-yeong nodded in confirmation.
“Should she be alive?” Ji-min asked angrily and you turned slightly to look at her, Nam-ra still resting her head on your shoulder, unmoving.
“What do you mean?” Joon-yeong asked.
“She’s a murderer. She killed Gyeong-su and walked out of here on her own. Is it even right for her to be alive?” She asked angrily, using rage as a coping mechanism for everything that was happening. “Aren’t you all being fake?”
“What about Ms. Park? Should she have died too?” Wu-jin questioned and Ji-min was quick to reply.
“Is that our fault?”
“Either way, we’re responsible for what happened,” he argued.
“Why is that? What did we do wrong?” She asked and you turned back to looking at your hands which were interlocked with Nam-ra’s, unable to look at the emotion in Ji-min’s eyes anymore. “Na-yeon killed someone, then played the victim, and chose to leave on her own. All because we didn’t listen to her,” She defended her own argument and Wu-jin remained silent. “If no one’s on your side, is it okay to kill?” Everyone stayed silent as they churned her question over in their brains. “Ms. Park acted like we were wrong. We didn’t tell Na-yeon to go out there. We didn’t tell Ms. Park to go out there, either. Why should we feel bad? What the hell did we do wrong?” Hyo-ryung leaned over to hug Ji-min and comfort her but the hand she placed on her shoulder was shoved off.
You noticed On-jo looking down at the table and a teardrop falling down her cheek and you reached over to grab onto her hand with your free one, squeezing gently. Surprisingly, she didn’t look shocked by your movements or the fact that you would do something like this, she just gave you a watery smile and sniffed before slightly wiping her nose on the sleeve of her slightly bloodied jacket.
Speaking of jackets, you realized you still didn’t have your own after using it to cover up Hyeon-ju when she came into the classroom. Although it wasn’t cold right now, you were sure it would be later, especially with the broken-open window.
“Hey,” Su-hyeok spoke up and interrupted everyone’s thoughts. “I feel weird saying this, but-”
He was interrupted when Wu-jin smacked his stomach. “Don’t say it.”
Su-hyeok groaned and took a strange moment of silence before continuing with what he was going to say. “Does anyone else have to go to the bathroom by any chance?” Nobody responded. “Am I the only one?”
Dae-su raised his hand slightly. “I do.”
“We have to go, too, actually. But we can’t go out,” Hyo-ryung spoke on behalf of her and Ji-min.
“I also have to go,” you added in and everyone’s head snapped towards you, making you shrink back in on yourself and press your cheek against the crown of Nam-ra’s head in embarrassment.
Joon-yeong sighed before pressing his forehead against the table.
“I’ve had to poop for a while,” Dae-su spoke up again and you held back the smile that threatened to take over your face.
“Dude… that’s… ew,” Wu-jin told him as he threw a pencil at him which was placed near his sitting spot.
“Why are you blaming me for this? Su-hyeok’s the one who brought it up. Poopings not a crime.”
“It’s not a crime, but-” Wu-jin told him with an amused face.
“But what? Don’t you need to go?”
“Yes, I do. Not poop, but, you know…” He informed.
“What about you?” Dae-su asked Cheong-san as he pointed at him, pleading for anyone to be on his side.
“I don’t… Pooping? No.”
He turned to Hyo-ryung. “Don’t you need to go?”
“Why are you asking me?” She whined.
“Why are you getting annoyed?” He shot back.
“What do you want from us? We can’t go out, anyways.”
Dae-su sighed deeply before his eyes caught on yours and he shot up straight. “(Y/n)!”
You smiled, amused, and Dae-su looked ecstatic at your expression. “Yes, Dae-su?”
“Do you need to go? Do you need to poop?” He asked, practically begging you to agree.
Your head tilted a bit as you looked up while thinking. “Yes,” you finally replied.
His hands shot up in victory. “Really?”
“No,” you laughed and he deflated like a balloon back into his seat with a playful glare. “I do have to go though.”
He sighed out again before he looked at the window. “I have an idea.”
You sighed and slapped your forehead, knowing exactly where he was going with this and not liking it one bit.
Dae-su walked up to the window, leaning against it slightly. “First, the girls and the guys will take turns.”
“Where?” Hyo-ryung asked, not understanding the context clues or deliberately being ignorant in hopes of him choosing a different answer.
He looked at her before gesturing to the window in front of him. “Here.”
She scoffed. “You’re crazy.”
“Stop it, man,” Cheong-san said and rolled his eyes at Dae-su’s strange suggestion.
“Why?” The boy asked with a slight whine. “The girls can wait in the other room, and the guys can just pee out the window.”
“What about… poop?” Wu-jin and you groaned out while shrinking in on yourself as you were sure you knew exactly what his idea would be.
He pointed at Wu-jin before looking back at the window. “Poop. Well…” He was silent for a moment as he thought before he slapped the frame in realization. “You can take your pants off and hang out the window,” he explained and climbed up the window so his butt was hanging off on one side while he held onto the window frame. “Like this.”
You couldn’t help yourself from snorting at his demonstration. “Outside!” He went on as you hid your smiling face underneath the collar of your green sweater. He stepped down from the window. “Like you’re taking a dump off of a cliff,” he then squatted down before continuing. “Like this.”
“What reaction is he hoping for?” You heard Wu-jin whisper before you spoke yourself.
“You seem to know a lot about this, Dae-su,” you teased. “I’m guessing you’ve had a lot of experience with pooping off of cliffs.”
He looked at you with an unamused look and you couldn’t help yourself from bursting out into laughter that everyone else joined in on as Dae-su rolled his eyes in annoyance. Nam-ra lifted her head from your shoulder and hid her smile behind her hand.
“I’m being serious!” He exclaimed over the laughter.
“Stop being ridiculous,” Hyo-ryung told him with an eyeroll after she calmed down.
“But someone has to hold you, so you don’t fall!” He quickly added when he saw a break in the giggles.
“How are you going to wipe your butt?” Joon-yeong asked him.
“Well, someone else should.”
“What is he saying?” Hyo-ryung facepalmed.
“Idiot.”
“Let’s just hold it,” Ju-min told everyone. “If the rescuers come-”
“It’ll take a while for them to get here,” On-jo looked at her as she interrupted her before looking down at her hands woefully. “It may be the same outside of the school.”
Nobody moved. Nobody spoke. The joking and laughter filled atmosphere was replaced with the sullen one as everyone thought of the situation they were still in.
“I don’t know how long we’ll be stuck here, but my dad always told me to separate the bathroom from where you sleep if you find yourself stranded,” On-jo continued, sounding like she had an idea.
“What do you suggest?” You implored.
“We create a makeshift bathroom for the time being,” she said confidently.
“Where will we create a bathroom and how?” Ji-min inquired, confused.
“Right there,” On-jo pointed to the recording booth and everyone turned to look.
“That’s smart, if we do some things to make it more private it could be the perfect place to make one. Good thinking,” you praised her and she blushed slightly as she looked back down to her hands while a small smile graced her features. You stood up with a slight hop before turning to On-jo and clapping your hands together. “Okay, boss lady! First order of motion?”
She tried to hide her smile but failed as a small laugh escaped her. She stood up herself and turned to look at the group of girls. “Nam-ra and you guys, try to look for something to cover the window.”
They nodded before scattering across the room to find things they could use.
“Cheong-san and Joon-yeong,” both boys turned to her at their names being called. “Make something that can absorb urine and feces to use as a toilet,” they nodded and got to work. “And then the rest of you…” she paused, knowing they needed something else but not sure what it was.
“A screen?” You suggested and she snapped in your direction in appreciation.
“Yes! A screen.”
“A screen?” Wu-jin asked to confirm in slight confusion and On-jo nodded.
“Yes, a screen to block.”
Wu-jin, Su-hyeok, and you walked into the recording booth and looked around. The both of them seemed stuck on what to use but you saw something immediately.
You walked over to where a few filing cabinets were and started moving one of them so it was positioned parallel to the wall with the window. Going over to start moving the second one, Su-hyeok realized you had been doing the work while they were just watching. He slapped Wu-jin’s chest before jogging over to you with a smile.
“How about you two move that one,” you pointed over to another filing cabinet on the other side of the room. “And I’ll move this one so they can be ‘walls’ on each side of that one,” you then pointed to the previous filing cabinet you had moved which was across from the window.
Su-hyeok frowned before moving over to where you were and going on the other side of the filing cabinet you were about to move. You reached over to smack the back of his head. “I don’t need help, idiot. Go help Wu-jin,” you pointed to where Wu-jin was struggling to move the filing cabinet on his own despite trying to seem like he wasn’t. Su-hyeok turned and rubbed his head where you smacked him before you could see the smile and blush that blessed his cheeks. He mentally slapped himself.
All she did was slap me on the head and call me an idiot, why the fuck am I smiling?
You laughed as you watched him walk away and he blushed harder at the sound of it.
Oh… that’s why.
After moving the two filing cabinets, you moving yours comically faster than the two boys did and rolling your eyes before helping them, you walked out of the room to see Dae-su laying his head down on the table. Cheong-san and Joon-yeong were almost done with what you assumed was the makeshift bathroom.
You walked over to them and rested a hand on Joon-yeong’s shoulder as you leaned over to look at the basket. “Is this the homemade toilet?”
Joon-yeong jumped at first before relaxing. “Yeah, we’re trying to figure something out for where to sit, though. With just this, everyone would probably just have to hover above it.”
You nodded and looked around for a second before something caught your eye and both of them lit up. You practically skipped over to the seat next to Dae-su and grabbed his neck pillow from where it was resting and walked back over to the two boys.
“Put this on top, I think this might be the best option we’ll have,” you suggested and placed the pillow on top of the rags in the basket.
“Dae-su's got a big butt, so let's…” he said as he opened up the button that held the two ends of the pillow together and spread it a bit.
“Perfect!” you smiled and opened the recording booth’s door for the two of them as they brought the basket inside. Walking over to where Nam-ra, On-jo, and the rest of them had set up a little circle of chairs, you sat in the one next to where Nam-ra was standing just as everyone was rushed out of the room by Su-hyeok who slammed the door harder than he probably intended to. You laughed.
“Do you want to sit down? I can pull up another chair,” you suggested to your best friend but she just politely shook her head with a smile. You held your hands up in mock surrender. “Okay, if you say so.”
After a little while, it was your turn and you used it quickly before grabbing a hand sanitizer bottle from one of the cabinets and pumping a little into your hand.
“Oh, thank god!” You heard and turned around to see On-jo, followed by Hyo-ryung, beside you. “I was worried about that. Even if we’re in a zombie apocalypse, I don’t really want to go to the bathroom and not wash my hands,” the bob hair cutted girl said in relief before holding her hand out. You put some in her hand and then some in On-jo’s as well and both grinned at you gratefully.
The bottle got passed around as everyone took a little and then started chatting.
“At least there are cops and soldiers out there, right?” Hyo-ryung questioned hopefully.
“But if you watch the movies, they can’t do anything either, right?” Wu-jin answered with his own question.
“I’m hoping that this situation will be different from the movies, that this thing will have a cure and everyone outside of the school is doing just fine,” you muttered with slight optimism. Hyo-ryung smiled at you and grabbed your hand.
“Exactly, and they always save everyone in the end.”
The door slammed shut and you noticed Joon-yeong, who had been standing outside of the door, waiting for his turn, had gone inside and Dae-su was standing on the other side with the tissue box you all had designated at the toilet paper in his hand.
Everyone’s face had turned sour as the smell of the recording booth flooded out with the small time the door was open.
“Shit!” Su-hyeok exclaimed as you all plugged your nose or wafted away the stench with your hand. “Why don’t you just stay inside?”
“Does it smell?” Dae-su asked cluelessly.
The door to the studio opened again before slamming as Joon-yeong came running out. “S-shit.”
“What?” Dae-su asked again as Joon-yeong ran towards the window to get some fresh air. “Stop being so dramatic. It doesn't smell at all.
“Oh, it does more than just smell. I’m pretty sure the zombies will bust down the door just because of that,” you joked and grabbed a piece of paper from behind you to use as a fan and blow away the air.
“Sit somewhere else,” Hyo-ryung demanded as Dae-su sat in the seat next to her but he just ignored her and she rolled her eyes.
You looked up at Nam-ra and saw that she was just staring off blankly out the window. “What’s up? What are you looking at?” You asked her.
She took a breath and hesitated before speaking her mind. “There’s nobody there. There are no lights on in the stores and apartments out there. They all ran away.”
“Or died…” You added depressingly.
“What do you mean by that?” On-jo quizzed.
“No one’s coming here to save us,” Name-ra stated.
“Why do you have to be so pessimistic?” Joon-yeong asked as he shifted uncomfortably under the change of tone in the air.
“Don’t you know my mom?” She shifted so she was leaning against the wall with her arms crossed over her chest. “She would’ve torn the school apart looking for me, but she isn’t here yet.”
“So, what do you wanna do?” Ji-min asked in a bitter voice and Nam-ra turned to look at her, annoyed.
When you realized she wasn’t going to reply, you replied on her behalf. “I think she’s just trying to point out the facts, even if they are depressing,” you looked up at Nam-ra to see if your assumption was correct and she nodded.
Ji-min turned to face you. “We all know that no one’s coming. So I think we should just figure out what we’re gonna do next.
“We have to wait to be rescued,” On-jo vocalized. You all looked to her and you especially knew that she might have the best knowledge of what to do in a situation like this considering she had some information passed down to her from her dad. “We can’t leave somewhere safe to go somewhere dangerous.”
“But from the place where we are right now, we’re not exactly in a visible spot for someone to see and rescue us from,” you told her, knowing that even if rescuers showed up to save people, they would most likely go to the roof first before anywhere else if at all.
“And what if nobody comes?” Nam-ra added on and you nodded.
“We haven't been waiting that long yet,” the girl insisted as she stared up at her.
“How long do you think we have to wait? Do you think we should wait until we die?” Nam-ra asked in a slightly snarky tone which you winced at but didn’t make any move to interfere.
“No,” On-jo clarified. “I’m saying let’s wait as long as we can.”
“But when will we know when we can’t?” You asked and On-jo just looked at you, her mouth opening and closing a few times before she looked down at her lap.
“I don’t know… but there’s no way we can go out right now, anyway.”
“It’s probably because it’s nighttime. I’m sure somebody will come in the morning, maybe. There are a lot of choppers flying around,” Su-hyeok pointed out and everyone looked out the window to inspect the sky for a second before leaning back. He let out a sigh. “Let’s just wait until tomorrow, and we’ll see.”
Everyone nodded in agreement when Joon-yeong took in a deep breath and ran back into the recording studio while plugging his nose which you and Hyo-ryung slightly giggled at. Su-hyeok looked down with a smile at the sound but you didn’t notice it from how you leaned forward to talk to Hyo-ryung. You also didn’t notice the questioning looks that On-jo passed back and forth between you and Su-hyeok.

“How about you, Cheongsan? What do you think of (Y/n)?”
The said male looks up from the foods in front of him to his friends, catching their curious gazes.
They had been talking about (L/n) (Y/n), the most feared delinquent on campus who actually doesn’t seem that much of a delinquent because of high grades and the lack of involvement in bullying. You were quiet and did nothing but to mind your own business in class, occasionally talking back against teachers that called you out for being late or skipping classes, and sending death glares to everyone who tries to get close.
You were an odd delinquent; involving yourself in fights only when necessary, accepting the teachers’ call for help, aggressively helping people who tripped in front of you, only minding your own business, and not minding people who accidentally spilled their drinks on you. You act how a delinquent shouldn’t, and it seems like you’re only called that is because you’re not afraid to speak out your thoughts no matter how hurtful it is, you’re intimidating and scary, and you beat up people.
His friends have stated their own opinions about you, mostly positive and only a small amount of negative, while Cheongsan continuously ate his food with his head hung low, since he didn’t want to partake in it. Though, he should’ve known his friends would not miss a chance to hear everyone’s opinion.
He looks at the table three rows away where you sat quietly alone, eating your favorite food and reading a book. That’s also one thing that makes you so unlike from other delinquents.
You look handsome like this, sitting in a way a delinquent would with all your focus fixed on the book. It’s almost as if you’re a godly, unrealistic being painted on a canvas by a professional and perfectionist painter.
Cheongsan didn’t understand why everyone found you so intimidating and scary; in all honesty, he thinks girls should be screaming, squealing and freaking out over you like those girls in cliché romance anime with handsome main character from how insanely and unbelievably attractive you are. But, in all honesty again, he would be irritated and annoyed if that actually happens.
“He seems fine to me,” Cheongsan answered Gyeongsu’s previous question with an unenthusiastic one as he forced himself to look away from your figure.
An unsatisfied look appears on both Gyeongsu’s and Suhyeok’s face as the others groaned at his lack of cooperation in sharing a throughout opinion, clearly disappointed. “What the fuck is that answer, you moron? There should be more to it like gossips about him and how you think of him.” Gyeongsu complains, smacking his arm.
Cheongsan raised his brows at him before his lips forms a pout, something that always happens when he’s thinking.
Unbeknownst to him, your eyes shifted from the book to his direction, a subtle smirk spreading across your face at the sight of his pout. You took out your phone and opened the camera, zooming it on his face with slight difficulty from how far he was. You then pressed the shutter button, successfully capturing him into picture as you opened gallery to save it in a specific folder.
Gathering his thoughts, Cheongsan finally opens his mouth to speak. “I think he’s handsome,” All of his friend’s jaws dropped. They did not expect that answer. “And I also think it’ll be fine to sit next to him or be close to him as long as you mind your business just like he does and if you don’t bother him that much.” He shrugs, taking one glance at you to see you’re on your phone instead.
“Have you tried sitting next to him?” Suhyeok asked curiously.
“No,” Cheongsan shakes his head. “But I’m not scared to try.”
Gyeongsu looks at him incredulously. “How are you not scared or intimidated? He’s scarier than Gwinam, and that says a lot.” Suhyeok nodded while pointing at Gyeongsu to show his agreement.
Cheongsan only shrugs at his question.
Since the beginning, he was never intimidated by you for unknown reasons. You were just so handsome, so attractive, and so godly that Cheongsan forgot to be scared. Though, your straightforwardness, honesty and the ability to speak out your thoughts without hesitation no matter how brutal or hurtful it’ll sound intimidated him a lot.
He assumes that’s probably why so many people are intimidated. No one can be completely honest and truthful nowadays in fear of being hated or disliked by others.
As his friends began talking among themselves after getting bored, Cheongsan looks at you once again only to catch you already staring at him. He makes sure his friends aren’t looking and smiles, subtly waving his hand to acknowledge your presence. He sees you nod, covering the smile that appears on your lips with your phone so no one can see it.
Cheongsan goes back to eating his food with butterflies filling his stomach and heart beating rapidly against his ribcage.
Perhaps, everyone being intimidated by and scared of you isn’t so bad when he’s the only one who can do things like this.
Tumblr media
Shit, what the fuck.
Cheongsan panicked internally after escaping the zombies that suddenly appeared out of nowhere in the cafeteria, alongside Onjo. The two of them managed to escape in a room filled with survivors; Gyeongsu, Wujin, Jimin, Nayeon, Hyoryung, Isak, Minji, and Joonyoung. However, the person who Cheongsan hoped to be here was nowhere to be seen.
He rushes over to the windows to search for you outside, but all he was met with was total chaos, people running everywhere for their lives as zombies chase after them.
Someone banging on the door catches his attention and he turned around to see white-covered Daesu being let into the classroom by Wujin, who almost closed the door on him. That settled an uneasy feeling within Cheongsan and his stomach twisted, making him nauseous as worry clouded every bit of his being.
He saw you exit the cafeteria before the outbreak happened and haven’t seen you ever since, which only worsened the awful feeling in the pit of his stomach.
Were you bitten? Did you turn? Where were you?
“What happened to your face, huh?” Wujin’s voice snapped Cheongsan out of his thoughts, looking at Daesu who looked like he’s been slapped with a powder or something.
“I don’t know, some crazy jerk sprayed me with fire extinguisher.” Daesu answers while wiping his face with a clean towel he found hanging by the drawers. Onjo avoids eye contact at that. She was spraying fire extinguisher to keep the zombies away, she didn’t know Daesu’s there.
Gyeongsu raised his brows, “A fire extinguisher?”
“Yeah, damn it.” The bigger male pants, resting his hands on his knees after wiping his eyes. “What’s happening?”
“Who knows?”
“Trains.” Cheongsan stated as he approached them, “Train to Busan.”
“The movie?” Daesu gives him a puzzled look.
“Aren’t they zombies? It’s the same thing.” Everyone looked at each other, contemplating whether what Cheongsan’s saying added up. It was crazy, but he kinda has a point. “Watch this, it’s true.” He pointed outside to convince Daesu before pulling him towards the windows when he still doesn’t believe it.
Gyeongsu also tries to walk over, but was reminded by Joonyoung of the door and went back instead to hold it close, curiosity plastered on his face.
“Shit, what the hell?” Wujin curses upon seeing the chaos.
All three of them flinches with a curse when a hand slams on the window in front of them, only to see it’s Suhyeok. They quickly help him get inside and he turns around to hold his hand out to Namra, who you helped rush up the ladder. You were next to climb up quickly as Suhyeok and Namra helps you get inside, barely missing the zombie-turned teacher from getting your leg.
Suhyeok breathes heavily and drops on the floor with his eyes wide in shock, adrenaline wearing off. “It’s that, isn’t it? Zombies.”
You sighed, turning to look outside.
For the first time, you learned minding your own business doesn’t apply to all situations. You would’ve been bitten by those nasty zombies if it wasn’t for Namra — your only actual friend in the campus — coming over to drag you away along with Suhyeok, because you were ignoring people who ran and screamed thinking they’re just playing childishly. She knew you wouldn’t spare anyone a glance, so coming to save you was a right choice.
Cheongsan came to stand beside you while making sure nobody would see your mouths moving. “Are you okay? I was worried.” He said barely above whisper.
“I’m fine, and they can’t get close to me anyway.” You replied, giving him a side-eye. Cheongsan scans your figure to make sure you were saying the truth, before he was annoyingly interrupted by a female body getting herself between you and him.
“Are you okay, (Y/n)?” Nayeon questioned, feigned concern lacing her tone as she pulls your arm to turn you towards her, beginning to run her hand all over your body to check for any injuries. “Are you hurt? What took you so long to come? I texted you.” She pouts.
Irritation quickly bubbled within Cheongsan’s chest at her attempt of making herself look cute and adorable. He forgot the rumors about Nayeon liking you.
With an uninterested look appearing, you quickly grab her wrist to keep her from further harrassing your body. “Keep your hands to yourself, Lee. Can’t you see I’m not bleeding? If I was hurt, there would’ve been blood on me. It should be obvious. And I was too busy reading a book to notice your text.” You waved your hand dismissively as your straightforwardness once again causes everyone to wince.
“That’s gotta hurt for a girl who has a crush on him.” Joonyoung mutters under his breath.
Your eyes shift to Cheongsan’s direction after feeling jealousy radiate from him, and he catches the look that they said— I’m glad you’re here.
That’s right, you don’t care about anyone but him.

“Who the hell does she think she is?”
This class couldn’t get any worse. You thought while sighing deeply as your back leaned on the seat, head thrown back with closed eyes.
This argument between Nayeon and Gyeongsu is a complete nonsense that Nayeon started to get on his nerves for no apparent reason. Giving a fuck is an irrational thing to do when it comes to this stupid girl who does nothing but to whine for others to start doing something. She doesn’t want to save anyone, she wants to be saved.
Talk about self-centered narcissist.
You opened your eyes when Gyeongsu let out a scared yell all of a sudden as the sound of door opening echoed throughout the room, pushing your head forward to look at the person that entered.
“Coach Kang.”
Rolling your eyes, you threw your head back again to stare at the ceiling, finding it more interesting than anyone or anything right in this moment. The Coach is your least favorite person; he’s a fucking egotistical jerk that thinks women are men’s toys. He thinks he’s hiding it well, but you can see it from a mile away.
“Are you guys okay?” Coach Kang’s trembling voice asked and he sighs in relief after Gyeongsu nodded together with everyone else.
Gyeongsu approaches him, albeit hesitantly. “What about you? You weren’t bitten?”
“No. Of course, not. I’m— I’m alright.”
Your brows furrowed. Something’s odd. He shouldn’t have this much difficulty in breathing. Even if he ran all over the campus, his breathing would’ve just been heavy or out of breath. His voice shouldn’t shake this much, as if he’s trying to hide something.
“Hey, guys. Let’s block the door first. Get moving, hurry!” Coach Kang starts to lead the students as they began to help moving the seats to block the doors, attempting to stack them high.
You stood up from the chair but remained in your place, watching him move around and instruct the survivors. There’s a wave of negativity in your gut, like something’s not right, that you shouldn’t trust him too easily. You scan his body thoroughly, until your eyes froze at the nasty bite on his arm.
Your breath hitches. This motherfucker’s gonna kill everyone.
As Onjo and Isak moves to help, you quickly grabbed both of their arm to keep them in place. They looked at you surprised since this is the first time you’ve ever approached anyone by yourself. “What’s wrong?” Onjo asked, and Cheongsan stops after seeing you holding them.
“Don’t get close,” You warned, voice low and whispering. “He got bitten on his arm.”
Their eyes widened and almost instantly, looked at the Coach’s arm to find out you’re telling the truth. But then again, you never lied.
“Coach Kang. Your arm.” Onjo doesn’t hesitate to speak. You gently squeeze her arm in encouragement and praise. Being honest saves everyone, believe it or not.
“What are you doing? Come help us!” The Coach yelled.
“You have a bite mark on your arm!” Onjo raised her voice, causing everyone to freeze and look. Wujin flinches backward when he noticed the bite mark as the others began to feel fearful once again.
Coach Kang sees his own arm and begins to panic. “I wasn’t bitten. No, no. I—” He quickly rolls his sleeve down, “I— I wasn’t bitten.”
“It’s a bite mark.”
“I said it isn’t. Don’t talk back to me, okay?” His voice gets aggressive. You stare at him intently. He shouldn’t get close.
It was Isak who spoke next. “It looks like you were really bitten.”
Coach Kang seems to get angry at that as he raised his voice, “I wasn’t! How many times must I tell you?”
Isak felt you squeeze her arm as well. You wanted her to stand up for herself and her classmates. “Then why the hell are you hiding it!? Just show it to us!” She raised her voice and stepped forward as you went beside Onjo, sharing a look with Cheongsan. You knew she’s important to him.
“I think you should leave now.” Isak quietly said.
“What?”
“Get out of here immediately.”
“You want me to go out there?” Kang pointed at the door, “After all I did to get here? You want me to go back out?”
“You were bitten.” She doesn’t back out. Standing up against teachers is scary, but getting bitten by zombies and turning into one is terrifying. She thanks you internally for encouraging her. “Come on, get out. I SAID GET OUT NOW!!”
“Cocksucker!” Kang yelled. “How dare you yell at me like that?”
You scowled, glaring at him, pulling both Onjo and Isak behind you when Kang steps forward. Your protectiveness usually only kicks in when Cheongsan is the one in danger, but right now, he wasn’t the one that needs protecting. This girls, who can easily be overpowered by the coach.
“You little... Get over here. Come here.” He was showing his true colors at this point, and you clenched your jaw in anger. “NOW! You won’t come? Hey.” He makes a move to advance and you stepped in front of the girls as they quickly hide behind you.
Everyone stops when blood starts to run down Kang’s nose as he turns his back to wipe it.
“Onjo, don’t—!” Onjo ignores your warning, smacking a backpack against the back of his head. You cursed and pulled her back behind you again, watching as Kang turns around and shoots her a glare. Cheongsan immediately rushes over to you, realizing you might get involved in Kang’s rage.
“You fucking bitch.” He cursed, raising a hand and steps forward only to drop on the floor.
You ignored everyone’s gasps and mutterings, turning around to push Cheongsan, Onjo and Isak away knowing he’ll turn. Cheongsan grabs your hand that was pushing him and pulls you so you wouldn’t be close to Kang. The crunching of bones filled the noisy air together with Nayeon’s fearful beg to get Kang out of the room.
Soon enough, a growl erupts from Kang and he launched himself onto Minji, pulling her down on the floor, unfortunately getting a bite of her face. Daesu rushes over to hold zombified Kang back, throwing him on the lockers. You all looked to see a chunk of Minji’s skin beside her mouth gone with blood coating the place.
While Daesu’s in shock, Kang stands back up with a growl and advanced towards Wujin and Suhyeok, who both fortunately avoided him as the latter attempts to fight him off. Cheongsan grabs the table right on his side and uses it to trap Kang against the wall, struggling to do so due to Kang continuously shoving to get a bite out of him.
“Cheongsan!” You and Gyeongsu both yelled as he runs to help and pushes the table more on Kang.
“Shit.” You muttered when Minji begins to turn after getting kicked by Nayeon, feeling the survival folding knife through the fabric of your pants in your pocket.
Using it to kill them would probably make everyone mistaken you for a murderer or perhaps, even torturer, but was that really important when all of your lives are at stake? You don’t give a fuck about everyone except Cheongsan, anyway. But won’t he judge or hate you for bringing a knife at school? Won’t he be afraid of you just like everyone else is?
You thought carefully, before Daesu’s struggling voice snapped you out alongside Cheongsan’s and Gyeongsu’s grunts.
That doesn’t fucking matter. If you don’t kill them with whatever you have, everyone’s gonna be dead, even Cheongsan.
“Whatever,” You sighed. “Fuck this.”
You quickly ran towards the two and pushed them away, ignoring Gyeongsu’s “what are you doing!?” thrown in your direction. Holding the table with one hand, you used the other to whip the knife out and press the two buttons on the handle, the sharp blade instantly making an appearance. Everyone widened their eyes in shock as you don’t hesitate to stab Kang’s head repeatedly with your knife, its force causing his blood to stain your uniform and a small amount of your face. You only stopped when the growling and struggling died down, dropping his completely lifeless body and the table on the floor.
Everyone flinches when you turn around, finding the unbothered and casual look on your face unsettling.
They watch you twirl the knife as you shifted your gaze on Daesu, who was holding zombified Minji that tried to bite him. You cock your head to the side. One slit on the neck should be enough.
Your stare was enough to force Daesu into throwing Minji on the floor as you don’t waste time to grab her hair and stab your knife deep into the side of her neck, before slitting it by sliding the knife towards other side with great force and fast movement. Blood splatters on the floor as she goes limp.
It didn’t even take you thirty seconds to successfully kill two zombies. Maybe you’re more terrifying than those cannibals, everyone thought in sync.
You walk over to the towel that Daesu used to wipe his face with and begins wiping off the blood on your knife, leaning against the lockers. Cheongsan approached you — shrugging Gyeongsu’s alarming hand off his arm — and he sees your body tense almost immediately.
“Did they get to you?”
You look up in surprise at his caring, concern-filled voice.
He gives you a comforting look, having an idea on what you’re feeling right now. You neither regret nor feel guilty about killing them, but you were afraid of a possibility that his thoughts about you might’ve suddenly changed. After all, you’re aware of how even the slightest action can change a person’s thoughts about anyone. Let alone as big of an action as murdering a zombified teacher and classmate.
You silently shake your head, pressing the buttons to make the blade disappear into the handle.
“Then, that’s great.” He smiles, gratitude plastering his face.
“Thank you, for saving us.”
Tumblr media
You dropped on the floor as soon as the door of recording room shut behind you, knees growing weak and tears stinging your eyes.
Gyeongsu’s gone. Nayeon did it.
He was Cheongsan’s bestfriend and to think that the girl who liked you was the one who killed him? It fucking made you feel shitty. Guilt devours you from the inside, spreading all throughout your veins and blood as you taste the bitterness in your mouth. There’s no fucking excuse to what she did; Gyeongsu was trying to help and she went all out accusing him of things that didn’t happen — and then goes on killing him without remorse just to prove her point when he didn’t turn.
“You did the same thing to Coach Kang and Minji!” Her voice bitterly haunts your ears.
You did kill them, after they turned into zombies. She wiped a zombie’s blood on Gyeongsu’s hand purposely to make him turn. There’s a big difference. You never wanted Kang and Minji to turn, even though the former pissed you off to no end. No one deserves to be a zombie.
She probably thinks you’re a hypocrite now, maybe even others who stayed quiet the whole time Namra was confronting Nayeon. They must be terrified of you yet they haven’t left you alone to die or kicked you out. Come to remember, they didn’t stop Nayeon from going out on her own.
A knock sounded from the window and you look up to see Cheongsan staring at you worriedly, gesturing to the lock. Unlocking the door, you let him inside by scooting away and watched as he sit beside you after locking it again, leaning both of your back against it.
There was only silence while you two stared blankly at the wall of recording room, grieving over a bestfriend— in your case, a classmate.
“You didn’t do the same thing to Coach Kang and Minji, you know.” He suddenly spoke, breaking the silence. He shifted to face you and also make himself comfortable. “You killed them because you had to, otherwise we would all be dead. Nayeon didn’t have any reason to kill Gyeongsu. Everyone agreed on that.”
“Really?” Your eyes finally met his.
Cheongsan nods with sincerity coating his face. “They understand, and all of them are actually thankful you were brave enough to kill those two. No one thinks you’re the same as Nayeon.” He takes your hand in his and rubs it comfortingly, to which you responded by squeezing his hand back.
You play with his fingers, tracing them and tangling them with yours as you avoid eye contact. “I’m sorry about Gyeongsu...” He frowns at the look on your face. “I noticed something’s wrong with Coach Kang, but I didn’t notice anything when it came to Nayeon. I feel like I should’ve, specially when I’m the one who usually notice small things in this group, and I can’t help but think it’s—”
“It’s not your fault.” Cheongsan immediately interrupted, voice firm and unwavering. “None of us knew what was gonna happen. In fact, I think we’re the ones at fault because we told Nayeon to come here and apologize to Gyeongsu when that was probably what she wanted us to do. You tried to stop us, but we didn’t listen.”
You look up at him, seeing guilt and sadness in his eyes. You intertwined your fingers and Cheongsan doesn’t waste time to hold your hand back. “It isn’t your fault, either. We all carry the burden of not being able to save him, don’t beat yourself up.”
“It’s just—” He sighs. “I’m his best friend. Well, was. I could’ve done something more.”
“But you did, Cheongsan. You kept him from hurting you.” Cupping his face with one hand, you smile to reassure him. “I’m sure the last thing Gyeongsu wanted was to hurt his bestfriend and end up turning him.”
Cheongsan sighs and leans on your touch as he closed his eyes. It feels warm. He believed your words— even you knew Gyeongsu is a kind person who would never dare lay a hand on anyone he treasures. He was poor, but he had the richest heart among all people. Which is why what Nayeon did is even more unforgivable and frustrating.
Why does kind people have to always be the target to cold-blooded people? They might be easy to manipulate, but you still didn’t understand. Why was the world so cruel?
“(Y/n)?” Concern instantly plastered your face at how his voice trembled and he cleared his throat, feeling tears gather in his eyes.
“What is it, love?”
“You’re not gonna leave me, right?”
Cheongsan was afraid. You could easily tell. He was afraid of losing you like he lost Gyeongsu, of seeing you turn into those cannibalistic monsters, of seeing you die. You’re the only thing that kept him sane in this apocalypse. If he lost you, he would have no will to survive anymore.
You frown, wiping off the tears that spilled on his cheeks with your thumb. “I would never leave you, Cheongsan. It’s not gonna happen no matter what. I’ll stay by your side until we can be safe together, okay? Don’t cry, baby.” Bringing your other hand to cup the other side of his face, you gently pulled him to press a kiss on his forehead.
Cheongsan felt butterflies filling his stomach. Even in this zombie apocalypse, you never fail to make him feel loved and tinglish.
No one would probably believe you’re actually this soft and gentle when it comes to your lover. People always assumed you were rough and aggressive, and that you’re far from boyfriend material type. Little did they know you make sure everyday that he knows you love him, even though you can’t be close to each other in school.
You look into each other’s eyes before Cheongsan wrapped his arms around your neck and pulled you close to capture your lips in a lingering kiss.
It’s a life or death situation — feeling each other’s presence and kissing each other’s lips mattered more than hiding your relationship. Nothing should matter anymore than you and Cheongsan, and how you would live knowing the grim reaper can suddenly knock on your door anytime.
Right now, you just wanted to focus on the feeling of Cheongsan’s lips more than the zombies probably lurking outside the broadcasting room.
Tumblr media
Gathering around the bonfire created by Namra’s lighter, everyone shared their own stories that no one has heard before. Hearing Namra open up made you smile, knowing she never got to do it with anyone up until now because no one bothered to befriend her. It’s actually why you two got along, being the black sheep of Ms. Park’s class.
You didn’t join them on bonfire, only listening to them share their own life stories as you leaned on the railings with both elbows rested on the surface. After dealing with so much crap and Gwinam going for your boyfriend’s head, you needed a well rest and a smoke to calm yourself, as well as to make the stress dissolve even just a bit. Though, dealing with zombies is honestly much better than dealing with school full of shitty students and teachers.
At some point, their conversation shifts from life story to crushes and you resist the urge to chuckle. Talking about crushes is probably the most mundane yet comforting thing to do in the middle of zombie apocalypse because it gives everyone a feeling as if they went back to a time when everyone wasn’t eating everybody. It reminds them of what they were doing when this apocalypse wasn’t a thing.
“How about you, Cheongsan? Do you have a crush?”
Their question made you puff a smoke as your thoughts wandered. Cheongsan can choose whether he’ll tell them or not, you suppose it doesn’t matter now since practically everyone in Korea is a zombie and not many would care anymore if two men are dating each other. Besides, you also wanted to care for him openly without worrying about someone finding out.
You assume Cheongsan nodded in reply due to various noises of curiosity leaving the other’s lips. He, too, probably doesn’t care anymore.
“Really? Who is it?” Onjo asked with surprise and tease lacing her voice, looking at him and waiting excitedly for his answer. Everyone anticipated it as well, some even growing impatient.
Cheongsan doesn’t say anything, instead points at you, who had your back turned to them.
All of their eyes follows the direction his finger pointed at and as soon as you entered their visions, their jaws drop in sync. Joonyoung looks at his finger and you back and fourth as he also pointed at you, mouth moving but no sounds coming out. Suhyeok had his brows raised, shock evident, staring at Cheongsan in disbelief. Hyoryung, Jimin and Daesu all covered their mouths, while Wujin, Onjo and Namra looked at him dumbfounded.
“You have a crush on (Y/n)!?” Wujin was the first to break everyone’s shock, beginning to look at you and Cheongsan back and fourth.
“How come you didn’t tell us? We shared our opinions about him in cafeteria, but you didn’t say anything about liking him.” Suhyeok shoots him a look, betrayed that Cheongsan hid it from them while they were idiotically telling what they felt and thought about his crush.
“Well, I did say he’s handsome.” Cheongsan defended himself. You subtly shake your head with a smile, realizing he must have said it so his friends would take the hint. “And to be honest, it’s not a crush anymore.” He shrugs.
Confusion is next to appear on everyone’s faces at his words, but Cheongsan stands up before they could ask what he means.
They watch as he walks towards you, and couldn’t help but notice that you immediately faced him as soon as his footsteps entered your ears. You inhaled one puff of smoke and threw the cigarette on the concrete floor. As if on instinct, Cheongsan steps on it to put it out. Your interaction was so natural that had everyone thinking if you often do it when you’re together.
“What’s up, Cheongsannie?”
He doesn’t respond, instead brings his hand up to tug your uniform with a pout. It’s a gesture he always does when he wants you to kiss him.
Without hesitation, you slip your hand on his face and leans forward to capture his adorable pouting lips in a kiss as Cheongsan closed his eyes, fist gripping the fabric of your uniform. You heard few of them gasp before you pulled away and ruffled your lover’s hair.
“Satisfied?” You smirk, licking your lips.
Cheongsan smacks your hand away and grumbles about you ruining his already ruined hair, red tint on his cheeks unfortunately visible. His heart pounded rapidly against his chest at first time kissing in front of people.
“Don’t worry, darling. You still look handsome with ruined hair and blood all over you.” Throwing him a teasing compliment, you leaned forward again to kiss his forehead, something that became a habit of yours after you started dating him.
“Fuck you,” Cheongsan playfully curses while pinching your side and shoving you away, though the smile on his face betrayed him.
You scoffed smugly, “You wish. We’re still in the middle of apocalypse, moron.”
“(Y/N)!!”
You laughed, avoiding his hand that tried to smack you over the head and runs over to the bonfire when Cheongsan starts chasing you, using Daesu as a shield. Now, all of them were shocked of how playful you are — a big contrast to how you are in school everyday.
“(Y/n), stop hiding behind Daesu.” Cheongsan panted as he glared at you playfully.
You childishly stuck your tongue out, which made Cheongsan roll his eyes while amusement crosses everyone’s face. “Only if you can make him move away.” You said smugly, knowing no one can force Daesu to move.
Your boyfriend gives you a look before shifting his gaze on Daesu, “Can you move, please?”
Much to your displeasure, the said man scoots away without hesitation and chuckles when he hears your gasp of betrayal. “What the— You traitor!” You smacked his arm quite strongly, causing him to wince and hold the arm that you hit.
Everyone laughs; it feels weird to see you be childish and playful when you’re usually calm, collected, cold and quiet, but they were happy nevertheless because you finally showed a side that you never did. However, they find it also sad how this is the only time they got to see you be playful, when they have just little chances of surviving. They regret fearing you just because you look intimidating. You may have a resting bitch face, but that doesn’t mean you hurt everybody on sight. They should’ve figured that out before.
Cheongsan comes to sit beside you (after successfully smacking the back of your head) with a yawn, exhaution finally showing itself on his body. Your eyes softened as you tugged his arm and Cheongsan let himself fall to your side. His head softly lands on your lap, facing the night sky, and you immediately bring your hand to massage his scalp. Cheongsan sighs in content, closing his eyes.
“Rest, darling. You need it.” You softly say. Everyone can’t help but stare at how gentle you are with Cheongsan.
“You need to rest too,” Cheongsan mutters with eyes still closed. “You and Suhyeok fought those zombies off more than we did.” He feels you shake your head.
“It doesn’t matter. We’re all the same in terms of exhaution.” You take his hand in your unused one to press a kiss on his knuckles. He opens his eyes, feeling butterflies clouding his stomach again. “And besides, I have to protect you from Gwinam. He’s after your head, who knows when he’ll come back.”
“He’s actually after my eye, but you don’t need to protect me all the time, you know.” Intertwining his fingers with yours, Cheongsan looks at you with worry in his eyes. “If you keep thinking about me, you’ll eventually forget to protect yourself. I don’t want you to get hurt or bitten.”
A smile spreads across your lips.
He might be right and it’s probably too dangerous to think about your boyfriend before yourself when zombies can grab you anywhere and anytime, but knowing he’s worried made you feel happy, warmth spreading from your heart outwards.
Cheongsan notices your smile and lightly hits your shoulder with his free hand, pouting. “Why the hell are you smiling? You rarely smile yet you’re smiling at the possibility that you could die protecting me. It’s not funny. Stop that.”
You only let out a chuckle in response to his scolding.
The others can’t help but smile when they heard the sound of your laughter for the first time as Cheongsan continues to simultaneously threat and scold you at the same time, refusing to stop until you swear you’ll look after yourself too. They found yours and Cheongsan’s couple interaction cute and entertaining, some even feeling as if they missed an opportunity to tease the two of you when zombies didn’t exist. It made them feel sad, but at least they found out before it’s too late and could still have an opportunity to tease.
“If you really—”
“Relax, sweetheart.” You interrupted, giving his hand a squeeze. He opens his mouth to object, but you beat him to it. “If you really think I’m going to forget about myself, then protect me instead. That way, we could prevent the worst from happening, hm? How does that sound?”
Cheongsan goes silent as he thinks about it for a while, then squeezed your hand back to let you know he settled his mind. “Okay. Sounds good enough.”
You grinned, leaning down to kiss his lips before petting his hair after pulling away. Greatly satisfied with your suggestion, Cheongsan closes his eyes to get himself to sleep, his free arm wrapping around your torso as he snuggled closer to you, wanting to feel your presence as much as he can. Shrugging your blazer off, you laid it over him to serve as a blanket.
“This is our first time seeing you smile,” Suhyeok spoke when silence fell. You look up to see a soft look plastered on his face. “I don’t mean to tell you what to do, but you should smile more.”
The others nodded their head in agreement. “You look good smiling.” Jimin compliments, receiving another nods of agreement from everyone.
You shrug, “I naturally don’t smile that often. He makes me laugh everytime, though. If you want any reaction out of me, just bring Cheongsan and let us talk. You’ll get a smile or laughter.”
“That’s probably because you trust him more than anyone else.” Onjo smiled, eyes soft. You nod while smiling, gently playing with Cheongsan’s hair.
“You don’t trust anyone that much.” Claimed Joonyoung. “So seeing you be freely yourself around us, it made me think how we gained it over the times we’ve spent together in this zombie apocalypse. Thanks for, you know... Trusting us.”
You flash them a smile. “Thanks for trusting me, too.”
Maybe letting your secret out wasn’t such a bad thing even before the apocalypse, with an exception of those gangs you beat up that may or may not use Cheongsan as hostage to get back at you.
Nonetheless, you were glad that your boyfriend had revealed everything out in the open — you’ve gained not many, but enough support. You’ll forever cherish this day, even if there’s little hope left to survive.

I Found You |Su-Hyeok|
Tumblr media
(Spoilers)
I tapped my pencil against my desk listening to whatever the teacher was saying. I looked at the board and saw some notes to take. I took my time writing wanting it to be neat. I try my best to look presentable, wanting to meet my parents proud. It's not like they were strict I want to make them proud even though they aren't pushy. It's nice hearing my parents talk to my family about my grades. It wasn't just for them, I wanted to impress Su-Hyeok. We've talked before and we're pretty good friends but I want to be more. Will he know that? Absolutely not, I like being with him and I don't want to ruin our friendship even if I wanted more. I smiled to myself waiting till the bell rang so I could talk to him on the way to the cafeteria. He'd go sit with his friends unfortunately for me, I lost a friend because I wasn't cool enough so I end up talking to random people every day. I wasn't that talkative but I managed to talk to two other girls I wanted to show her I didn't need her. Once the bell rang I packed up my stuff and went outside the classroom to wait for him.
"Jesus, you scared the shit out of me," I said looking at Su-Hyeok grinning.
"Your so easy to sneak up on" He chuckled as a smacked his chest lightly.
"I am not, I just didn't expect a random voice to be right behind me," I said as we made our way to the cafeteria. "How was class?"
"Boring"
"Fooling around?" I asked jokingly raising an eyebrow.
"Maybe," He said smiling.
"Well my class wasn't that great either, I felt like I was going to fall asleep" I sighed. "But I have to work hard"
"No, you need to relax a bit." He said putting his arm around my shoulder in a joking manner, unfortunately. "You need to do something fun and not spend all your free time studying."
"I'll have you know I binge-watch shows and listen to music"
"Didn't you dance and sing in middle school?"
"Yes"
"Do you miss it?"
"Every once and a while I regret quitting," I said. "But there's nothing I can do now"
"You could still sign up," He said. "I'll even watch you perform"
"Maybe" I smiled.
"That should be a yes," He said. "I want to see you dance at least once"
"Like I said maybe." I smiled as he took his arm off my shoulder as we made it to the cafeteria.
"Can't wait for you to say yes later today" He said before walking over to his friends.
I sighed and looked for On-Jo and I-Sak. I saw On-Jo wave her wand to signal me over. I walked over and sat next to her.
"Why is your face all red?" On-Jo asked as I brought out my lunchbox.
"Su-Hyeok" I mumbled. "He's so oblivious"
"Everyone knows about your little crush except him," I-Sak said pointing her chopstick at me. "Just tell him"
"Absolutely not"
"Oh come on," On-Jo said.
"I don't want to lose him," I said taking a bite out of my apple. "I'd rather suffer"
"Don't be overdramatic" I-Sak said
"I'm not"
"Anyways how did you do on the test in Science?" I-Sak asked.
"I got a 95," I said proudly.
"I'm surprised it's not a 100" On-Jo joked
"Oh whatever," I said nudging her smiling. "And you?"
"Looks like we've got to clean up," She said changing the subject. "We'll be back we're just putting our trays back"
"Alright," I said watching them leave.
"Hey, Y/n? I know we don't talk much" I looked up and saw Cheong-San standing in front of the table. "Could you help me out with something?"
"Uh, sure? Depends on what it is" I said packing my lunch box.
"Can you tell On-Jo to meet me in front of the school later, I have to tell her something"
"I think I know what it is so of course" I grinned as he blushed.
"Don't tell anyone okay?"
"I won't," I said standing up. "Good luck"
"Thank you"
"Don't mention it" I smiled and watched him walk away.
I stood waiting for On-Jo and I-Sak to come back. I started to daydream till I heard a bunch of steps. I looked over and saw a bunch of students running in the cafeteria. Someone closed the door on the rest and banging was seen through the glass that it shattered open. Students flooded the cafeteria as chaos quickly spread. I was getting bumped into left and right. I stood up on the table to see what was truly going on. My heart dropped at the sight. People eating others and quickly turning into monsters to spread whatever was going on. I looked around for a place to run but it was almost impossible to leave. The sprinklers went off making everything worse. I saw Cheong-San help On-Jo go through a window and sighed in relief at least one of my friends will survive. I felt an arm tug on me and saw Su-Hyeok pulling me down by my hand.
"We have to go," He said as he grabbed a chair as if it was a shield to run outside. I almost slipped on but quickly caught myself
We ran to the stairs and I followed Su-Hyeok. I wasn't bothered to pay attention to the fact that we were holding hands. We stopped seeing a man on top of a ladder before falling down. As they were distracted we moved the ladder so we were able to get to a window.
"Be careful" He said as he climbed up The window opened and he was pulled through. I started to climb but the ladder started shaking. I looked down and saw a few zombies grabbing the ladder. I felt a hand grab mine as my breathing became shakier. The ladder officially collapsed and the only thing keeping me from the ground was Su-Hyeok's hand. "Don't let go! I've got you okay?"
I looked up horrified and Su-Hyeoks face mirrored mine. I had nothing to grab onto and my hand started to slip from his.
"Hold on a little more okay?" He said panicking. "I'll pull you up I promise! Guys help me!"
I felt more force pull me up but it made my hand slip more. His eyes were tearing up as he looked at me. He was using both of his hands but they kept slipping. I looked down and saw that the zombies walked away from where they just were. I could make a run for it and find someplace to find safety.
"I'm sorry" I whispered as my hand slipped from his.
I fell to the ground and quickly got up running for my life.
"Y/n!" He yelled trying to get down the building but his friends pulled him back.
His scream drew all of the zombies to that building point but I still had to close calls. I never looked back as I kept running forward. I looked at the big tree coming up close that led to a classroom window.
"Here I go" I whispered and did my best to climb the tree I yelped as I saw my foot being grabbed at.
I stomped on it with my other foot holding the tree branch for my life. Once the hand let go I made it to the top. The branches kept creaking as I slowly made it to what looked like the music room window. I looked through the window and saw the coast was clear. I carefully opened the window and climbed in. I sighed in relief until I heard the piano go off. I looked over and saw a girl trapped underneath the piano. I slowly moved back until I fell out of the classroom. I closed the door and noticed that she wasn't going to escape from under the heavy object. I sighed quietly sitting against the wall closest to the window. Fear finally had time to take over as I sat and watched what used to be my classmates bang against the window of the classroom or walk away bloodied with no emotions. I dug my head into my knees crying softly. A day passed by and my head hurt from crying all night and not sleeping. I was too scared to close my eyes just in case a zombie came in. The hallway silence was filled with a bunch of noises and I quickly got up. Before I could do anything the door opened and shut as I started to climb out of the window.
"Y/n?" I heard a familiar voice say. I turned around and saw a person holding a guitar in a bloody uniform.
"Cheong-San," I said stepping down from the window. "You're alive"
"I thought you died," He said as we whispered back and forth looking at the door in front of us.
"Is Su-Hyeok okay?" I said urgently.
"He's safe, don't worry," He said putting his hand on my shoulder.
"Thank fuck" I whispered.
"Stay back," He said referring to the girl under the piano.
"Don't worry she hasn't moved since yesterday."
He just nodded a few minutes later we heard voices come from the intercom. I flinched and hid behind Cheong-San as the Zombies ran to the speakers.
"Cheong-San are you there?" Dae-Su said over the intercom.
"Cheong-San do you hear us?" My heart rate spiked hearing Su-Hyeok's voice over the speakers.
"Told you," Cheong-San said rubbing my back.
"It's me Su-Hyeok. We'll come to you so stay put got it?"
"Don't come here Moron, you can't come here" Cheong-San said walking to the speaker as if it actually does something.
"Shh," I said and continued to listen to what he was saying.
Su-Hyeok kept reassuring Cheong-San they were coming but little did they know it took my whole power to get him to shut up to listen to the announcement.
"And Y/n you better be safe okay? I still have to get that yes from you so I can see you perform."
I nodded to myself but saw Cheong-San planning his escape. I grabbed his hand and pulled him away from the window. "Stop it!"
He was about to fight back till On-Jo came over the speaker.
"Cheong-San please stay still," On-Jo said making him stop fighting my grasp to leave. "I know you never listen to me but listen just this once"
This took Cheong-San out of his dazed state and sat on a desk his head in his hands.
"They'll be fine," I said sitting across from him. "Believe in them okay?"
"Yeah...."
This time music did blare in the speakers as I watched the zombies run to either side of the hallway. My leg bounced anxiously waiting to see if anyone ends up coming to get us. After what felt like forever we heard footsteps coming from the hallway and the door opening. I looked up and saw a group of people. Dae-Su went up and hugged Cheong-San and On-Jo looked over.
"Y/n?" Hyo-Ryung said. "I did see you on the drone camera"
"Drone camera?" I asked confused.
"Never mind that I'm glad your alive" She smiled.
"Where's Su-Hyeok?" I asked as On-Jo hugged me I started to struggle in her grasp trying to leave. "Where is he?"
"He was behind us," Dae-Su said.
Suddenly the door started to bang frantically. There was a voice telling us to let them in. Cheong-San hesitantly opened the door as Nam-Ra and Su-Hyeok ran in. I made eye contact with Su-Hyeok who ran up and hugged me.
"Thank god your okay," He said his voice shaky. "How did you do it, I thought I lost you"
"I thought I lost you too," I said I pulled away from the hug to look at him directly. His face was bloody and he had a bruise on his face. "What happened?"
"That's not important" He smiled gently. "What's important is that I can see you again"
"I should've told you this before but I really like you, when I was stuck in here I thought that I would never see you again and you wouldn't know my feelings. I got scared that I wouldn't be able to tell you and-" my rambling went off as I felt a pair of lips on mine.
"It's okay, I'm here" He cupped my cheek. "And I really like you too so don't scare me like that"
"I won't ever again"
"Promise?"
"I promise," I said hugging him and he let my hair. The soothing made me feel like collapsing from exhaustion but my happiness kept it away. I heard two people clapping at our confession.
"Shut up," Su-Hyeok said.
Even though this is one small moment in the hell hole that we have ahead of ourselves that I'm not sure I'm ready for it. This moment was the happiest little did I know the chaos that was just beginning.

a CHEONG-SAN X FEMALE READER fanfic
Genre: soft romance, horror with fluff and comfort.
Warnings: mentions of death, gore and dark, suicidal thoughts. A few cuss words too.
Synopsis: you were always thoughtful and caring, never thinking twice before putting others above yourself. This didn't change after the outbreak, it only pushed your actions over the limit. It's only a matter of time before the consequences arrive.
Author’s Note: I AM SO SORRY! I deeply apologize for the HUGE delay this story and many others had. I had lost motivation and my mental health went down the drain after I got covid, The stress I felt whenever I tried writing was terrible and I needed more time away from stuff. I’m slowly coming back and noting many ideas for future stories. And I am so sorry if the ending of this story seems lazy or just cheesy...I am so sorry :( It’s been months without writing. I hope this story was what you had in mind though, again a huge apology for the delay. I hope you are doing okay dear anon! Much love <3

You could no longer recall for how long you've been trapped in the school, and neither could your classmates remember when it all began. At first, it had been all about survival and playing the waiting game for rescue, counting the days for it's arrival. The sounds of helicopters who flew by had brought hope, a glimpse of that small chattered hope was all they had. But they never came. The sound of planes and sightings of soldiers had brought strength to keep going, to wait. But they never came. Slowly, that loop of false hope took it's toll on your former classmates upon realizing you all had been forgotten, left behind. Left to die.
While at some point most gave up, you stood your ground and worked hard to adapt to everything that happened around you. The outbreak, the infected, survival. Your efforts not only gave the group emotional support, but provided them with security, supplies and a warmth that was lost since day one.
Although you were never an athlete, never fit in the category of an athlete and never had what it took to be one, you still had focused short workout sessions that lasted from 5-10 minutes, working on your strength and stamina in hopes of being more of a support when facing against the infected. You had also come up with ways to fight back using furniture and materials around the school to the group's advantage, hoping it would make it easier to deal with the infected when the time came. You had done practically everything in your power to help.
But with every passing day, it became clear the road ahead all of you wouldn't be easy to cope with. Upon loosing friends and family, you had watched the same happen to your fellow companions and your feelings were thrown into a deep pit of helplessness. You could feel fear and doubt clawing at you. Loss wasn't something you could fix, wasn't something you could reverse and bring it back. No, you watched it and took it in. You had accepted, accepted that this perhaps was what would happen to all of you one day. You had watched your friends cry upon seeing their loved ones turned into homicidal infected, with only rage driven instincts lingering in their now empty minds. You couldn't help them.
You knew that giving into frustration and letting that pit of dark, insane driven thoughts take over you would only worsen the already sensitive situation. That small spark of hope you brought to all of them was all they had to hold on to, and that couldn't be destroyed. You couldn't worsen things between you and the others, especially Cheong-San.
Cheong-San had shown a lot of support towards your ideas and workout sessions, being of great help with some of them even. He stood constantly by your side, assisted and protected you while on high alert for anything that could bring you harm. Even though you had his company, he liked to silently watch and listen. Almost as if he were a ghost, observing you from the shadows. Cheong-San loved how willing you were to survive and to implement that same energy into your fellow companions, supporting them even when you were brought down. However, he was well aware that was one of your facades to strengthen others and not you. You were risking your life so others could survive.
Despite seeing right through your actions, Cheong-San stood quiet and didn't protest against what you've done. He couldn't. You had given your best to get where you were now, as well as the group. They all needed that support, that positivity only you had. Cheong-San acknowledged that destroying it would most likely get everyone killed. You included. He had asked you multiple times if you were okay and keeping yourself just as healthy, but you had dismissed him time after time.
You weren't dumb, you could understand and appreciate he was worried and you knew he wanted to help but you would never in a million years let him risk himself like you were doing. You'd put him above the others and yourself if need be, you'd make sure he survived even if you had to be left behind. Cheong-San was everything to you, your only source of happiness and you would be lying if you said you weren't grateful for the things he'd done for you. He'd done a lot, more than necessary even. Now it was your time to fill in that spot, to repay him somehow.
...
The day had gone by rather quickly, forcing you and the group of survivors to take some refuge and rest in the comfort provided by what used to be a classroom, tiding it up and making sure it was secure enough for the night. It had been a rough day, rougher than any other and that was being generous.
While your classmates drifted off to sleep, you had stayed awake to work on one of your many plans on how to get out of there as soon as the sun rised, and as you hadn't slept properly in a long time you thought it wasn't a big deal to stay awake again. Every classroom was temporary, it had to be, otherwise you'd have infected coming in from every side. You learnt the hard way that they will follow their rabid instincts to go after uninfected people, searching and ravaging every corner to find them after a long period of time. And they bring in friends, they are never alone.
With a small piece of paper and a pencil, you worked smoothly in your plan, drawing and writing every idea you had into the blank spaces. You were standing, your left hand serving as support on the table while the other held the pencil loosely. The classroom was dark and the only source of light came from outside, the night's natural light shinning right through the small gap in the window and right into your paper. The table was placed next to the window and you could have a better view of what your school had become, of what it's former students had become. You shot them glances while you worked, the silent snores of your classmates and the usual moans and grunts from the infected outside serving as the only source of sound to keep you sane enough. The sight didn't bother you anymore, nor did the sounds. Or so you thought.
You were so concentrated in your plan you failed to notice the tall figure approaching from behind you, hand were felt on your hips and it was enough to startle you for a brief moment, until the touch was recognized and you relaxed. The touch was gentle and smooth, a touch you so learned to appreciate and love. As you turn around, you are met with Cheong-San's tired expression, already telling you that he hadn't slept ever since you all had arrived to the classroom.
''Cheong-San, why aren't you sleeping?'' You questioned, keeping your voice low as to not disturb your sleeping classmates and quickly shifting your attention back to the paper in front of you.
''I could ask you the same thing...'' Cheong-San mumbled, making you pause your writing momentarily to look up at him again. He sighed, knowing exactly where this was going.
''Cheong-San-''
''No, stop-''
You finally raise your voice, shooting him a glare. ''Cheong-San, please.''
You hated raising your voice at him, especially when there are others around. But you couldn't and wouldn't have this conversation, it was complicated and you had something else to focus on, the arguments you both had usually lasted for an hour or two. This wasn't the time.
''I don't want to talk about this now, not again. I-I know you worry about me but please just let me work on this and I promise I'll go to sleep, okay? We need this right now, they need this. Please.'' You implored, a frown making itself present on your face and all those pent up emotions catching up to the recent events.
''And what about you? You've been working on...these plans and-and preparations for far too long. You don't even take care of yourself do you? You barely talk to me now too...'' He sighed, removing his hands from your hips and crossing his arms ''Do you have any idea how I feel?''
You paused. He just pulled that card, and you were furious.
‘‘Excuse me?’‘  You began, blinking in shock at his question. ‘’I- I don’t have any idea how you feel?! Why do you think I’m doing all of this? For myself? I’m doing this so you can all fucking survive, so I can protect you! I don’t want you or the others to end up like my damn parents, can you understand that? Especially YOU! I fucking love you and- and- I care about you so damn much and I want to protect you, you’ve done that to me so many times I want to repay you!’’
At this point you were crying, the sniffles could be heard all across the classroom and your classmates stared in shock at the scene taking place in the corner. They woke up with your yells, you hadn’t noticed how loud you’ve gotten as you ranted. Cheong-San stood still in front of you, his eyes were wide and they had a hint of sadness in them. Had you been hiding all of these feelings from him?
‘‘I-I’m sorry, I can’t- I can’t-’‘ You broke down crying and Cheong-San was quick to catch you in his arms, holding you tightly. ‘‘I’m sorry, I’m sorry.’‘
The warm embrace Cheong-San held made you feel at home, made you feel safe. It was a hold you never wanted to loose, a hold you wanted to cherish forever. Cheong-San understood that and never wasted any time on giving you that, he wanted you to smile and tell him your problems. He knew that this time would come and hoped he would be able to make you change your mind, but the outcome clearly didn’t turn out as expected. He had been hesitant at first, silently watching you from his resting spot in one of the corners, but seeing you awake to work on the plans again made his heart clench in guilt. Your classmates had gone back to sleep after a while seeing as Cheong-San had it under control, not that them interfering would make things any better. It was something between the both of you only.
Cheong-San’s emotions were all over the place, his thoughts scrambled to get proper words out of his mouth without hurting you any further but it seemed so hard. Your mind was way too overwhelmed, he was worried that whatever he tried to say would make it worse, he was insecure. Cheong-San then opted to whisper sweet nothings into your ear, telling you he understood. And he did, he really did. He made sure his hold was tight so you could focus on that only, focus on the embrace.
The hug and sweet words seemed to work as your body relaxed under his touch after a few minutes, your sniffles could still be heard but you weren’t crying anymore. That dark pit of emotions you felt was no longer there, the uncertainty that had clawed at you was gone, the feeling of helplessness was gone. All you could think about was the hold that reminded you of old times, when things were more simple. At some point, Cheong-San pulled away from the hug and looked into your watery eyes. He smiled at you, and that smile was enough to let you know you weren’t alone.
No words had to be said, that smile was the source of your strength, the source of your happiness that you seemed to have lost long ago. The source of your hope.
The source of your survival.

All of us are dead
- how they kiss you [Rqs by @kvneh0 ]
Tumblr media
Cheong-san - Best kisser ever, gives the most passionate kisses ever, He's rough but in a good way? All kisses get heated up really fast, He would grab your face and tilt it in a way of guiding you, I don't know why but I feel like he definitely is desperate when it comes to kisses, like he wants to feel you [not in that way...well maybe], at first he was a total amateur but the more he practiced with you the more he got addicted, he's definitely addicted to your lips, he would stare at them whenever he got the chance too, he's just, a good kisser
Onjo - soft like the chick [🐥] she is, she loves giving you pecks, like no matter where you two are at she would peck your lips, I feel like she isn't into kissing in public but she would definitely give you pecks whenever she feels like it but when you guys do kiss, she's super gentle, she gets a bit shy but she never backs out of a kiss, she always let's you take the lead and she definitely plays with your fingers while kissing too, when it gets heated, like I said she let's you take the lead and goes with the flow
Su-Hyeok - He's a slow kisser, he's rlly gentle, he likes to appreciate your kisses, he really likes to carreses your face or hair while kissing you, time to time he would pull on your bottom lip or lick your lips, he just likes tessing you, oh and he definitely likes to watch you while kissing, he would open his eyes just to see you up close and admire you, when you guys pull away, all thats on his face is blush and a smugish smile also can I add he definitely loves using his tongue?
Namra - Honestly...I feel like she's very hesitant, like she never kisses you first, when she starts warming up to you, she gives you a small peck time to time BUT when she gets more confident, she enjoys it, a lot, she definitely takes the lead, she likes to place her fingers on your neck and press down gently while kissing you, she would be soft at first but slowly get rougher, she would be a slow kisser, she likes to take her time, she never kisses you in public though! Only pecks in public
Gwi-nam - definitely an awkward kisser, you can't tell me otherwise, he would be aggressive just because he doesnt know how to be gentle, not because he wants to be, in public he rarely kisses you but when you guys do kiss in private, most of the time it gets really heated and ends up with you two sleeping together, a little small detail I wanna add is that in bed he doesn't know how to be gentle so afterwards he kisses all the love scars he left on you because he felt guilty for hurting you [only when you're sleeping though, he has too much pride to do it while you're awake]
Group:
Gentle with a hint of roughness [if that makes sense...] they act all high and might but when you kiss them, their eyes would widen but afterwards they just melt into the kiss, their hands would roam around your body, your hair to your ass, they just love your kisses, afterwards they like to tease you about it but on the inside they are definitely not flustered then you
Gyeong-su, Min-ji, Wujin
Awkward!! They would try to kiss you but end up kissing your nose because their eyes were closed from how nervous they were, they attempt to kiss you many times but fail so you always kiss then first which makes them blush, they are super soft, very stiff though but, it's adorable
Joon-yeong, Daesu, Hyo-Ryung, Nayeon

Chapter One
Harabeoji lays on the hospital bed, unaware that the world continues without him.
You're his only visitor today. The room is cold, and his heart monitor fills the silence since you won't.
You don't know what to say, where to start.
Do you tell him that he needs to wake up? That since he fell sick, your step-grandmother used his coma as an opportunity to move everyone from your family home (sans yourself) and that her son, your half-uncle and proxy, is already making deals to have the line of succession passed to him instead?
Seoul is too far from Hyosan for you to visit him, to remind him to keep fighting and to keep vigil at his bedside, but they moved his treatment here anyway. Have already brought themselves a sky-line apartment right in the centre.
If you told him that they've left you alone, that they've left you behind, would that be enough to wake him up?
On your lap, you've brought a collection of Western comic books you've been reading to practise your English and since you need to fill the quiet somehow, you pick one out to read:
The Walking Dead, it says.
If Harabeoji finds your pick distasteful, he doesn't say.
(You wish he would).
Tumblr media
In a class-room setting, the Vice-President is meant to ensure that there is strong communication between the Class Reps and the President. When the President is absent, it is up to them to act in their stead. To lead the class through ever-changing situations with a clear head and mature outlook.
At times, you enjoy being responsible for such tasks. The position gives you a sense of purpose on days when you feel set adrift, makes you feel more present as you tend to your responsibilities and resolve minor conflicts. Those are the days you feel like an ordinary student, responsible only for the happenings of your class.
Other times however, it's a bitter reminder. Of Harabeoji who's counting on you to do good, of the dynasty you're set to inherit in his name and of the interests you've had to sacrifice in favour of activities more appealing for Universities overseas. Like being Vice-President.
Joon-Yeong insists you should have been Class President when the positions are first announced. It's unfair Nam-Ra gets the position because of her Mother's bribery when you're not only first in class but have given up more to commit to your school's night self-learning programme and your new role.
He says it with an air of indifference as he crosses his arms, but his eyes burn behind his glasses. You think it's because losing the Presidency to a friend will make the loss hurt a little less, and because it would excuse you from not hanging out with him and the others as much as you used to.
You don't point it out to him, though. Joon-Yeong has to come to his own conclusion for things to stick. Instead, you make a show of pointing your finger right at his nose as you order him–and the others watching–to call you "VP" henceforth.
It's not much, but if you show that you're not upset with the position you're given then your friends have no grounds to be angry on your behalf. You just hope that overtime, they'll come around about the Class President you do have in the meantime.
You did in the end, hadn't you?
Tumblr media
Speaking of your Class President, Nam-Ra always complains about the music playing on your headphones whenever she slides into her seat next to you, but it doesn't stop her from leaning over your textbook to assess your work.
You respond by turning your volume all the way up so the melody of Auld Lang Syne rattles your ears, mouth curling when she nods begrudgingly at your answers.
There isn't much she'll find to begin with, but it's routine; Nam-ra grumbles about your music in the morning as she looks over your work (way better than her rhythm techno beats, mind you), and you pretend this isn't her odd way of showing her friendship.
Silently, you offer her a piece of Poki from your half-opened bag, your own show of friendship, and she accepts the treat after a long, drawn out moment. Even though she doesn't say anything, you can see her face soften in the corner of your eye, and beyond the obvious, you're glad that she's not actually mad about your song choice for today.
"Wake me up when Ms. Park comes," you say after a moment, falling into your normal position as you cross your arms over your textbook, cushioning your head as you close your eyes. Nam-ra predictably grumbles at your command, but doesn't make a move to disturb you.
And drifting off, you hope that today is another calm day.
Tumblr media
It's not.
Hyeon-Ju's bloodied entrance is too shocking for the day to be anything but calm.
Even when she's whisked away by Ms. Park, Su-Hyeok and a few others to the infirmary, the shock gives way to unease and the feeling settles under your skin before you can do anything about it. It makes you itch to do something, anything.
Ms. Park instructs you all to resume studying but hearing what Hyeon-Ju said and seeing her state in general, more than half the class group together to brainstorm what happened between your classmate and Mr. Lee.
Nam-Ra seems to be the only one actually studying and while it looks like you are too, with all your pens laid out and your head tilted down to your book, you're actually listening in on the chatter around you. Pulling out your stationary was just a show of solidarity, if anything.
From what you gather, no one seems to say anything that corroborates your unease or the sense of foreboding that's taken root. Dae-Su's idea is perverse, Wu-Jin is quick to slap him on the back of his head, and I-Sak returns with a troubled face before the others can chime in.
At once, everyone turns their attention towards her, even Nam-Ra, but the weight of someone's stare grows heavy on the side of your face so you turn to other side of the room instead, catching Gyeong-Su's gaze just as he snaps his head back to I-Sak.
You're sure he knows you caught him staring at you because the tips of his ears are pink, and his posture is rigid as he faces the front. If you weren't feeling so agitated, your skin still itching, you'd smile at his embarrassment.
How long will he wait before he confesses?
"–What happened? Is Hyeon-Ju okay?" Wu-Jin chimes. He kneels next to I-Sak when he asks, and you begin tapping your finger on your desk when she speaks, pulled back to the matter at hand.
When you saw Hyeon-Ju last, the poor girl was delirious as she stumbled into the room, eyes fluttering as she tried to stay awake. Her face was bloodied, her hair was matted and when she collapsed by Ms. Parks' feet, she could could barely move.
However, the Hyeon-Ju I-Sak left in the infirmary sounds like a completely different person.
Having to be restrained as she thrashed on the bed. Hissing. Biting.
She scratched Ms. Kim, I-Sak says.
There's a cold sweat running down the back of your neck the more you imagine it, different scenarios flitting through your head in quick succession, but when I-Sak mentions some weird shot Mr. Lee injected her with, the agitation you feel reaches a crescendo.
You stop tapping, deciding that you need to see things yourself.
Nam-Ra glances at you from the corner of her eye, and you hope the look you flash her doesn't belie your nerves.
It turns out though that the Class President must consider you more of a friend than you realised (the kind of friend that you cover for), because her mouth twists like she knows you're up to something but doesn't push.
"I'll find a mop to clean up the mess," you lie, grabbing your bag.
"Hurry back," is Nam-Ra's cool reply.

This is a multi-fic story.
I intend to post this story on Wattpad and Ao3 shortly. Maybe even Quotev and FF.net, too.

[A DAY BEFORE THE OUTBREAK...]
roses, tulips, lilies, they usually were in every storefronts window. signaling perfectly how the season was changing soon and quickly, the flowers were now missing and/or wilted. you were going to miss seeing the bloomed flowers for a while. winter took the invitation swiftly, the wind blowing your hair away from your eyes proved that fact. the sun still shines down onto people's heads, as usual, it confidently shows it still has a job to do upon the season changing. the solid road you were walking down had green grass sprouting from between the cracks a little, a visual of a younger you playing with it while your mother was arguing on the phone with someone flashed by in your mind.
couldn't recall what it was about exactly. “y/n, you have two feet facing forward and yet somehow you seem to be walking backwards,” your father retorted to your slow walking. you snapped your head up to see he was a few feet away from you, jogging to catch up. “yeah, sorry.” you mumbled. not in the mood to argue so early into the day. especially on a weekend, the two days where you could only worry about how you would get your dad out the house.
your first thought when your father had told you he was leaving to run errands, you weren't necessarily thinking you had to be a part of it. well, it seems everything you don't expect always seems to happen to you. adding this to the list. “welcome!,” the store owner announced as you two walked in. you bowed when making eye contact and as you rose up the older woman couldn't help but send you, what only you could assume to be, a motherly smile. you gave a small smile in return, her warmth made it hard not to. “hello miss, we were wondering if you had any chamomile tea?” your father asked the lady with a high pitched tone, obviously trying to sound kinder than usual. you couldn't help the smirk on your lips when the woman quickly left her station and went to retrieve said herbs. you placed your hands on the counter and tapped your fingertips in a rhythm. “so..” you trailed off as your dad turned his head towards your direction.
“why do you need chamomile tea?” you asked while staring at the broken sign that stated no leaning on the small statues that were lined against the wall of the store. “just.” was your fathers answer. you exhaled while closing your eyes, you were used to your father not actually wanting to have normal conversations with you. in spite of that, it was still in fact draining to not have a communicative parent. and the only times he did want to speak to you, was because he needed to ridicule you for every decision you made in this life. it makes you ponder about what you must've done so awful in your past life.
you turned around to lean your back against the counter and stare out the windows with your arms over your chest, your thick green cardigan making you feel comfortable even if the atmosphere did not. looking out onto the street you see three grown women pass by, then a boy that seemed close to your age, maybe a little older, on a bicycle slowly cruises by the windows. to say he was handsome was an understatement, your mouth slightly parted as he looked into the windows of the shop you were in and looked directly at you. it wasn't a certain look he gave you, just the fact he did stare at you before disappearing past the window where you could no longer see him. making your throat dry and your heartbeat a little faster than usual. your feet led you off the counter and outside the open door to where he had disappeared to. he was crossing the street to the corner bike store, parking his bike outside and entering. you blinked before turning back to see your dad now chatting with another older lady about different tea’s. “dad, im gonna check out the-“ he waved you off, not even turning his head to spare you a glance. you shook your head from the sudden hurt and quickly jogged over to down the street to the sidewalk. your mind now focused on one thing and one thing only.
one someone, to be exact. upon entering the bicycle store you were greeted by a younger women whom you bowed to in response. you weren't sure if you fitted in with the rest of the people shopping in here. you still pretended to look at the bikes that were on display in the windows and throughout the store. looking up, you noticed a familiar tall and fit boy who was looking at bike tires that were hung up. swallowing in hopes of smoothing your vocal chords out from the dried cracks of anxiousness. you proceeded to walk slowly more and more to him, though one step came with an intrusive thought. “you see him and what are you gonna do about it?” you turned swiftly toward a wall full of chains for bicycles.
your heart began to beat harder at that. what are you going to do now? you probably seem like a stalker now, he's obviously gonna recognize you from the other shop. you need to leave, you need to leave now. “you own a bike?” a voice cut in to your own conversation. your head whipped to the side to see the said boy was now standing beside you and not where he was leaning over a few feet away prior. “uh, me?” you ask dumbly. he nodded with a smile that his eyes turn into slits, you blinked before answering, “no i don't.” oh no. “i-i mean that's why i'm here. y-ya know, to buy one.” the boy nodded slowly at your words. you weren't quite sure if he believed you or not. he then points to the chain you were once having a staring contest with, “maybe you should get the whole bike first.”
you nodded before nervously chuckling, to which a heavenly giggle escaped his throat. something that made your heart flutter at. “can i give you some advice though?” you nod quickly. he smirks at your quick reaction to his words. “don't try and get one of the trendy ones right now, they'll only go out of style as quick and usually they break down as easily.” your eyes stuck to his lips as he spoke to you. wow, he really was very handsome. you couldn't help your ears from gaining heat at the fact that he still stared at you as you did him.
“yes, i understand.” you softly responded with a starstruck face. “good.” his voice lowered. the boy looked down at your body which made you shy instantly. “also those shoes are good for bicycling, so don't even try to waste your well-earned money on some new ones.” you furrowed your brows before looking down. “ah, yes, i wasn't planning on it.” you reassured him while mentally hitting yourself for getting into your head like that when just speaking to this nice guy. “im y/n.” you stuck out your hand politely. “my names kyungho.” the name fit him perfectly you noticed.
he nodded before saying a gentle, “see you around then, y/n.” it was as if your heart punctured outwards of your chest and grabbed onto his sleeve when he was walking away, but instead you said “w-what kind of bike do you have?” you asked for the first time in a louder tone. he turned with an eye-slinting smile before responding.
Tumblr media
the sun was finally done being confident for the day and began relaxing by 6pm. its winds and clouds taking over for the exhausted sun. “come back for dinner, y/n!” your father shouted while heading into the apartment building, you nodded before pedaling off on your new bike that you had recently bought the next day. you sold most of your old toys to nearby neighbors and finally, 19 hours later and you purchased the black version of the bike kyungho had. you pedalled off down a street, the feeling almost rejuvenating. not having a specific path you wanted to take, you just followed the sun as it set and the skies soon turned orangey-pink. you cut through wind so fast, your clothes were practically second skin.
it was different. very much different. it made you wonder as to why you never thought of purchasing one of these before. it beats walking, that's for sure.
while you skidded down many empty streets and just enjoyed the outdoors for once, you came across and intersection, you slowed down and drifted onto the sidewalk. slowly cruising towards the crosswalk. thats when you noticed it was the same intersection where suhyeok saved you from. a faint hint of your ears getting warmer made you grow angry. you knew one-hundred percent then, that you couldn't control who you liked. because even when you don't want to, that prick still somehow squirms his way into your arteries like a blood clot. an infectious disease that can only be cured if you rip your own heart out before he consumes it. shaking your head in order to clear your mind, your ears pick up laughter. you turn to see a chicken restaurant and eating inside were a few of your classmates. onjo, cheongsan, isak, and gyeongsu. they looked rather happy.. and warm.
you looked away in defeat, leaning onto your bike and rubbing your head. for once in your life you were not gonna live the same day over and over. tomorrow, you were going to change for good, that was something only you knew at the time, but soon everyone would see it too.
meanwhile, in cheongsan’s chicken, “yah, is that y/n-ah?” isak spoke as she covered her mouth from keeping chicken spewing out. everyone turned to see the young boy with his head in his hands and brushing his hair away from his face in frustration. cheongsan and gyeongsu looked back at each other before returning to their food. onjo looked at the two boys who were stuffing their faces once again, “we should invite him to eat with us,” she began and continued when everyone looked at her with surprised faces. “hes always alone. no one should be alone throughout high-school, it makes school even more unbearable. plus, isn't he woojin-ah’s friend?” she asked and immediately was met with gyeongsu shaking his head slowly in a grimace. “he tried to ..befriend him again but i think woojin just didnt wanna be apart of drama.” he explained while now picking at his food.
“drama?” onjo asked with a slight undertone. almost accusing cheongsan he had done something wrong from just answering her question. “y-yeah, you know about y/n and myunghwan..” cheongsan trailed off as onjo became angrier by the second. “y/n was just being himself, this whole town needs to grow up already. he never hurt anyone, he just had a stupid crush and wanted to tell him.” she stated with fire in her eyes. isak raised her eyebrows at her friends tangent. “do any of you know the guy?” isak carefully spoke up. everyone then proceeded to shake their head. “only y/n knows.” onjo answered while now pushing away her chicken while she tried to calm down. “and myunghwan and his goons.” gyeongsu added while looking down at his fork nonchalantly.
“that guy that snitched should go to hell.” isak stated with crossed arms and a small pout. finally, understanding y/n, when her friend put the situation in perspective for her. “yeah, i will never like a guy like that.” onjo announced seriously. cheongsan gulped and gawked at his childhood friend before continung to eat his food.
everyone was quiet, seemingly done with the conversation until gyeongsu spoke up, “if youre still a little angry, can i have that piece?”

Suhyeok x Reader Imagine: Child
Ps: Y/N is a black girl
Tumblr media
As we were all sitting around the fire discussing about what were our plan for the future if the apocalypse never happened, Dae-Su said “Bare-Su it’s your turn to talk”
He took few seconds before answering “If the whole zombie thing didn’t happened, I would’ve graduated high school, then I probably would’ve gone to Seoul to study, rent an appartement and live with Y/N.” I turn my head to look at him when he said that.
“You want children with her or something?” Asked Joonyoung
“Yeah, but I want to marry her first” Suhyeok softly said
“Really?” I finally said, touched by his words
“Yeah, I’ve been thinking about this for a while now”
“Would you like having a boy or a girl?” I asked.
He took a few seconds before answering “I want to be a girl’s dad. She would look just like me, but with your beautiful curly hair, skin and your personality. She’s gonna be absolutely beautiful”.
He looked at me with a smile (like the GIF) as he described the way he imagine our futur daughter. A small silent went by before Cheongsan said “ Damn bro you’re completely whipped for Y/N”.
We all chuckled at his comment, while Suhyeok roll his eyes, annoyed but with a small grin.
_____________
I think I’ll write another thing about y’all child. Tell me what you guys think!

Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
⸻ E tambem, hm....me desculpa pela briga..
⸻ Pensei que não iria me pedir desculpas! ⸻ Você sorriu dando um beijinho na bochecha.

I just read your Cheong-san × Reader fic and I'd love to see a part two. TuT <3 Maybe you could explore how the reader was still upset/hurt (or both lol) about/by what Cheong-san did, and Gwi-nam's reaction? 👀
PART ONE
AHHH SO SORRY IT TOOK ME SO LONG TO GET TO THIS. school can really kick your butt. ㅜㅡㅜ
word count ;;  990
genre ;; cheongsan x gn!reader, angst, romance, angst with semi? good ending, gwinam x gn!reader, cheongsan a big of a wussy…
warnings ;; language, cheongsan can be a dick, gwinam gets soft, THIS WILL NOT FOLLOW THE PLOT BUT MIGHT HAVE SPOILERS SO BEWARE.
summary ;; recap of part one: cheongsan is dating y/n but still has feelings for onjo. when gwinam is coming to get his revenge on cheongsan and bites y/n, cheongsan still feels some type of way.
part two: gwinam now knows about what happened, his reaction wasn’t the best at all. in his mind, all he could think was getting cheongsan dead. gwinam thought about y/n though. as they were scared and yet confused and didn’t know what to do. he tried to comfort them in the process. (WARNING: feelings may arise.)
BIG NOTE: IM SORRY IF THIS IS SO RUSHED !!!!!!
note: if you want a part three please let me know!!! This is before I finished writing so idk if I added a cheongsan and gwinam ending. If I do, you guys may request for an afterwards! But most likely I may not do it since I like to leave everyone In their own imaginations 💀💀 but also I may do it since I really do enjoy gwinam! I finally got something from school done and I’m hoping I won’t be set back that much anymore with things I’m doing.
TAGLIST: I didn’t know if you guys all wanted to be tagged but since you commented and have been waiting for so long. please enjoy :D @simpfor-gwi-nam @minaanyl22 @blueturkeyfarmland @istantxt @snixx2088 @dreamzluvrr @jjnnnyy @mitsurisfavgf

gwinam is the type of man to have zero remorse and give zero fucks about anyone. but now, he has one scared person who is (height). he thinks that no matter what height you are, now you have to be brave and try to survive but as the two are half zombie, half human. or maybe full zombie, and just have a good IQ…
gwinam has to be able to comfort you but in a way he’s never done. he’s always never wanted to tease you. he thought you were nice but in reality it’s probably because you’ve always known him as gwinam and not the toy of bullies and apart of the bullies. no one would call him by his name but you. he enjoyed it. he liked it a lot. gwinam knows that he has to be able to comfort you. he takes you to a room that’s been empty for a while.
“listen, i know i’m not the best person who can comfort you but i promise i won’t ever hurt you. cheongsan did… and… i…i can see why you would go back to him… because obviously you still have feelings for him and all that bullshit. but don’t go back to that nerd. he’s just into that other bitch or whatever. fuck him. you’re better off with me.” you smiled at his words because the boy struggled a bit to find words to help with somewhat of comforting you. you smiled at gwinam.
“thank you gwinam. i’ve always tried to help you in some way by calling you by your name. i wanted you to change your ways but obviously not everything works out, obviously not with me… haha… but i appreciate your advice.” you told him.
you both leave the room and go on. you both just walk in silence and then you give him a hug. you did appreciate his advice and you’re deciding what to do. you should choose. you can’t have both of them. as gwinam has been there for you crying your eyes out. as hearing cheongsan confess his dying love for fucking onjo. which grew a strong hatred for her and cheongsan. you just didn’t know what to do.
you just stayed with gwinam for the time being and gwinam just kissed your head. you looked at him in shock. it’s funny how feelings can arise in the matter of a few days, isn’t it? it’s very weird. but you liked it. gwinam felt right… but so did cheongsan.
gwinam and you started holding hands and you looked up to smile at him. as you guys walked you approach a bunch of zombies and found the group.. cheongsan and the others..
CHEONGSAN ENDING:
you lead gwinam to cheongsan and the group. allowing him to grab cheongsan but instead of letting gwinam take cheongsan and kill him. you elbow him in the eye and then kick him in the shin. you grab cheongsan and tell them all to get out.
“leave now.”
you fight off gwinam as much as you could and then run. you ran as far as you could. you ended up catching up to them.
“are you fucking crazy?”
“you could’ve died you idiot???”
“what is wrong with you?”
“why did you go with that disgusting freak?”
“are you okay?”
“did he hurt you?”
you were still panting so suhyeok and namra tell them to give you space. you were so crowded. you finally started to catch your breath and started to explain everything.
“so we ended up talking, he didn’t hurt me, but i missed you guys. i missed you all. i missed you too cheongsan… and i realized that i really love you and it’s okay if you still like onjo I guess. not like we were out and everyone knew we were dating so I mean whatever…”
cheongsan ends up pulling you into a kiss and hugs you tight.
“never leave me again.”
you guys walk to the safe zone and they clear you all. but namra and you have to go into another zone for some other help since you guys are like half zombies. you never thought it would be better here.
GWINAM ENDING.
you helped gwinam take cheongsan and the others make it out with onjo fighting them to get to cheongsan. you snarled at her and made her back off. you allowed gwinam to fight cheongsan, you saw something in the air and immediately told gwinam that you guys had to go.
“get one last punch and we gotta go babe.” you say to him and he gets it in and leaves the bleeding cheongsan left to die and get eaten.
you both run as fast as possible and leave. you guys hear the explosion, it was so fucking loud. your ears were ringing so bad, it hurt like hell. you held onto gwinam though. made sure he was still there. he also held onto you. you both were panting and as you caught your breathes.
you smiled at each other. you guys got away and got some revenge on cheongsan. “let’s not go to the safe zone. I bet it’s safer here anyways for us half zombies I guess…” he agreed and pulls you in for a kiss. it took you by surprise… it felt like fireworks and it just felt right and not wrong. it felt like butterflies. it felt like the best feeling ever. you both just walked around and smiled at each other. it made you happy and him. he protected you and fed you since you got scared to still. he made sure you were being fed though. you were his everything just as he was yours.
you felt so free with gwinam. the man made you feel so alive. he felt like home. you absolutely loved it. you wished nothing but to continue to feel this feeling over and over until you guys are dead.

The Star Crossed Masterlist
My All Of Us Are Dead Masterlist
My Navigation and Masterlist
Warnings: Na-yeon. Word Count: 4,147
Waking up was always the hardest part of the day for you. Your body resisted it with all its might and sometimes the temptation was too strong to resist.
Or at least it would be if you didn’t have an older brother there to smack you with a pillow until you got up.
Your arms instinctually went up to protect your face as you screeched when your attacker would not stop. You heard Gwi-nam laugh as you rolled around in your bed, trying to avoid the insistent hits of the fluffy pillow. Finally, he stopped. He was grinning until it turned into an annoyed scowl.
“I have been trying to wake you up for the past 30 minutes, now you only have 15 to get ready for school or else I’m leaving you here.”
You knew the threat was empty and he would wait all day for you if you needed it but you still practically leaped out of the bed at his words.
“Okay, okay! I’m sorry! I’ll be ready soon, I promise!” You quickly rushed to the bathroom to start your morning routine, brushing your teeth only until you were satisfied they felt and smelled clean before going on to styling your hair into a simple but cute hairdo. Quickly getting changed, you rushed out of your room and slid into the kitchen using your socked feet. Grabbing a quick breakfast time you could eat on the way, you rushed to put your shoes on.
When Gwi-nam walked out of his bedroom, unrushed and calm, you looked at him, confused.
“Why aren’t you rushing?” You questioned, slightly out of breath and slowly catching on as his lips tilted into a large and mischievous grin. You looked at the clock on the wall of your living room and looked back at him comically slowly. It was 40 minutes before you needed to leave. “Oh, you little shit! I’m gonna kill you!” You stood up, one shoe still untied but that didn’t stop you from running after him as he ran away and laughed loudly at your reaction.
You and Gwi-nam walked across the crosswalk, both walking in a comfortable silence until you both saw them.
Myeong-hwan and his 'friends.'
The small smile you wore as you walked dropped as soon as you saw them.
“Have fun,” You whispered to Gwi-nam, trying to keep the bitterness out of your tone. It seemed to work because he just gave you a small smile and ruffled your hair which you smacked him for. Ignoring the way his entire persona changed as he walked over to the group, you put your headphones on and turned your music up until you could no longer hear the chatter of the people around you before walking into the school and heading for your classroom, knowing the bell would be going off soon.
You arrived just as the warning bell went off and went to sit in your assigned seat next to the window beside Nam-ra. She was already there, early as always, and you gave her a small smile before sitting down, taking your headphones out and putting them away as well as turning your phone off completely and taking out your old one. Luckily, you hadn’t been caught not turning in your phone yet and Ms. Park continued to believe the phone you turned in each day without fail was your only phone.
You were a good student, why wouldn’t she believe you.
Ms. Park was one of the only people in the school - including the teachers - who never really looked at you based on who you were related to, which you were always grateful for.
You slipped your actual phone into your backpack just as all the other students started to flood into the classroom.
You saw one person in particular who walked in. She always sat behind you, relatively quiet and you only ever saw her hang around one person who you assumed was her close friend if not her boyfriend. You never really knew her or anything but you remembered her name from it being mentioned in passing. Hee-su.
You turned around as you saw her walk unsteadily to her desk which sat right behind Nam-ra. Her skin was as pale as ash and her face seemed lightly shiny with a thin layer of sweat. She clutched her stomach almost in pain.
“H-hey, are you okay?” You questioned her hesitantly. Rightly so as she looked up to you in a panic and stared at you with a slightly terrified look in her eyes.
“Yes,” she said almost too quickly. You felt hurt for a moment as you figured she was just scared of you because of your brother like so many others were until you saw the fear in her eyes. This wasn’t a fear directed at you but more of a fear of getting found out, of being caught. “Y-yes, I’m fine.” Her hand found its way back down where she almost imperceptibly caressed her sweatshirt covered stomach. You let out a silent gasp and she looked at you with an unbridled amount of terror when she realized you had figured it out.
You gave her a hesitant and small, but extremely genuine, smile as you slowly reached for the hand that she had resting on her desk to give it a small squeeze. She returned the smile after a moment of her face being in complete shock as she was completely shocked by your actions. You let her hand go and turned around just as you noticed two girls behind her putting on sweatpants underneath their skirts. You let out a small faint laugh as you did see them. Although you stopped doing that years ago, it was always a perk to know how to change your clothes in public even while wearing a full set.
A large group of boys gathered your attention once you turned back around and you watched them as they talked and laughed with each other. You didn’t bother listening to their conversation but you just watched as your arms formed a pillow on the desk for your chin to rest on and you dreamed about what it would be like to be a part of a group like that.
Suddenly, the girl you knew as On-jo stormed into the classroom, obviously annoyed, and threw a backpack at Cheong-san who just smirked at her as she sat down. You smiled lightly as you saw their interaction, they did this every single day without fail and you couldn’t help but find it endearing. Anyone with eyes could see that Cheong-san liked On-jo except for her apparently.
Even though you didn’t know any of the people in your class, you knew all of their names. Perks of being the outcast you guessed. You hardly had anyone to focus your attention on so you focused your attention on the people around you. You had Nam-ra but she was always absorbed into her schoolwork.
She had disclosed her insecurities and fears before: how she was scared to let her grades drop and her mom to get angry at her; how she was scared to open up to anyone else and get to know them because of how her mother would compare her to them as well as because she never really knew how; how she was hesitant to let you over to her house or even just tell her mom about you because she wasn’t sure how she would react to you being apart of the Yoon family. Though Nam-ra never judged you based on your family for even a second, she knew her mother would.
It hurt at times but you understood.
So you decided to get to know your classmates through your ears and their voices.
Getting snapped out of your thoughts when the right classroom door opened again, you noticed a familiar tall figure walk in and take his bag off before walking over to the group of boys who were still talking about a girl who worked at a store they had went to.
You heard Wu-jin make a comment about smelling his feet from across the classroom and you let out a small giggle.
One which caught the attention of the talked about boy and he looked over at you with his brown eyes. He shot you a small smile before walking over and draping his arms over the shoulders of Gyeong-su and Cheong-san.
“Then I’ll break his fingers-” Wu-jin started but was cut off as a familiarly irritating voice filled the air and Na-yeon walked in.
“Hey!” Unfortunately for Gyeong-su, he was sitting on her desk so he gained the full force of her wrath.
“Whoa. What the fuck?” Joon-yeong exclaims as Na-yeon walks up to them and he flinches slightly at her presence which you stiffle a laugh at, not bothering to pick your head up from your arms as you continue to watch them, waiting for what would happen next.
“Get off of there. You stink.” Na-yeon said to Gyeong-su and he got quickly got off, a little confused by her harsh demeanor.
“Oh, okay. My bad,” he said while getting up. “What’s the big deal? Sorry.” He tried to use his sleeve to wipe the surface of the desk off before she yanked her bag off and smacked his hand away.
“Cut it out! You’re so dirty,” she insulted.
Gyeong-su blinked once as he comprehended what she just said to him. “Hey, what the hell?” He asked, you could hear the slight trace of annoyance and hurt beneath the calm outer tone he portrayed.
Cheong-san came up behind him and wrapped his arms around him to prevent him from starting something in the classroom. “Hey, just let it go,” he said as the bell chimed.
“What the hell is your problem?” Wu-jin asked as he walked past her and she elbowed him in the ribs.
At the display of slight aggression, you lifted your head from your hands and Na-yeon noticed immediately. The fight went out of her eyes and she just stood there, looking at you fearfully as you sat back in your chair and glared at her with your arms crossed and your head tilted ever so slightly to the side.
The others did not seem to notice her lack of involvement in the argument anymore and continued asking her questions before Ms. Park entered the room. “Hey, you punks.” Her tone implied how tired she was of dealing with her students’ shit and you turned your head to the window to hide your slight smile at it. “Come on guys. Take your seats. Come on, move it!” She rolled her eyes as she got to her desk and placed her things down as the class finally settled down and everyone was in their seats.
“Hi there,” she said to the class, her face still portraying her annoyed face until she heard half of the class repeat her greeting back to her, some even waving childishly at her. She smiled. “Hi. Good morning. Time to hand in your phones, everyone!”
Starting with the front row, everyone stood up to hand their phones in and place them into the grey box with little numbered rectangular holes marking each one for the phones to fit in until the end of each day. Before you could even consider standing up, Nam-ra grabbed your phone from where it was placed on your desk and started walking towards Ms. Park’s desk with it. It was something she had offered to do the second day you had started chatting and considering each other to be friends and she had done it ever since.
After everyone had given their phones over, Ms. Park started speaking again. “Who’s in touch with Hyeon-ju?” Nobody answered but a few looked hesitant. “Nobody? So none of you have tried calling her today?”
Joon-yeong cleared his throat before speaking, “Uh, we cleaned the science lab together yesterday, but I haven’t seen her since.”
She sighed, “Okay, if anyone hears from her sometime within the next few days, let me know right away, okay?” Everyone nodded and replied with ‘Okay’s.’ She pulled one of the phones from the box and started doing something with it as she started going back to the topic of school. “Exams start soon, so get your acts together.”
You could see from in front of you the two “brothers” fighting as Wu-jin saw Dae-su holding his phone underneath the table when suddenly his and another phone, you guessed either On-jo’s or I-sak’s just based on location, rang out with a notification.
“I heard that,” Ms. Park let out a little groan of annoyance. “Hand over your phones, please.”
As Dae-su and I-sak stood up to go and turn their phones in, Dae-su made a show of holding onto his phone for dear life with two hands as Ms. Park tried to take it. It slipped from his grasp and she gave him a certain look as he backed away and gave a slight bow in apology.
Noticing one of the phones was not what she knew it should have been, Park took it out and saw it was On-jo’s number slot. “On-jo. This is your phone from last year.” The class snickered. “Take it please.” As On-jo did the walk of shame to replace her old and broken phone with her new and working one, Ms. Park placed the box in one of her drawers. “I will be back in a few minutes. Nam-ra, please watch over the class in my absence.”
Nam-ra gave a nod and Ms. Park smiled before walking out. True to her word, she was only gone for a few minutes before coming back in and starting the class.
For the majority of the class, you just drew little figures and doodles in the corner on your notebook, not writing much down and only paying attention through listening. Because your brother took this class last year, you would often sit down with him at the kitchen counter after school and do your homework with him. Being too skilled for your own grade, he would always print a copy of his work for you to do. You would whine and complain each time but it was nice to have something a bit more challenging - especially something like learning a new language as complex as English - since you were constantly bored in class.
Little did you know it would lead to you being bored in most of your classes the next year too. Oh well, at least you were fluent in English now.
“‘In fact, none of us are completely free from prejudice. We all have preconceived ideas about others.’” Ms. Park recited in English before switching back to Korean. “Here, ‘free from’ means the lacking in or unencumbered by. Anyone want to interpret this?” She started tapping on the wall as she waited for someone to volunteer. Just before she was about to pick someone to answer, the scraping of a chair against the granite floor was heard and you turned in your seat to look at Hee-su as she stood up. She looked even worse than she did before. “Okay. Hee-su?”
Ms. Park smiled in relief as she waited for her to respond only to get a shaky and quiet reply back. “I need to use the bathroom.”
“Oh, okay. Go.”
You gave Hee-su a reassuring smile when she looked down at you in a panic and you could see some of her anxiety melting off of her shoulders before she grabbed her bag and slowly walked - or wobbled - out of the classroom and in the direction of what you knew to be the nurse’s office.
Just as you were about to turn back around, your eyes caught on another’s. Su-hyeok sat there and was looking at you with a soft look in his eyes and his lips upturned into a small smile that he seemed to only have reserved for you based off of how you’ve seen him smile around his friends.
To be honest you weren’t sure if you should feel special or left out.
Giving him a small smile back, you turned back around in your seat just as the teacher called on Nam-ra to answer and she expressed her interpretation of the quote.
“The truth is, all of us have some sort of prejudice. We all have preconceptions about other people,” she said confidently and you looked down to hide your proud smirk while twirling your pencil around in your hands.
“Hmm, okay, nice,” Park praised before directing her attention to Su-hyeok who was drawing and smiling into his notebook, obviously not paying attention to what Nam-ra was saying or anything being taught. “Next, Bare-su. Stand up.”
Some of the students let out small giggles as they heard what she called him. “Yes?” he asked, unsure of why he was being called on.
“What’s with ‘Bare-su’?” She asked and he just stood there for a few moments in silence as he comprehended her words. Luckily, or unluckily depending on who you ask, Joon-seong answered for him.
“It’s short for Barefoot Su-hyeok. Bare-su for short.”
“He hates wearing socks. He’s so weird about it,” Dae-su interjected after Joon-seong was finished before looking back at Su-hyeok and maintaining eye contact while saying, “I can smell it from a mile away,” and plugging his nose dramatically as his face scrunched up as if smelling something extremely gross.
You let out an airy laugh that you thought was quiet enough to not be heard, especially under the noise of your classmates laughing as well, but Dae-su practically gave himself whiplash from how fast he spun around to look at you in surprise.
It was no secret you were not the most expressive of people at the school, competing with Nam-ra for how little you showed most of the time.
Although just like her, it was a defense mechanism.
“Okay, Bare-su,” Ms. Park said after her own laughs had calmed down. “What did Nam-ra say a minute ago?” She interrogated and you could basically see how Su-hyeok froze under her gaze.
Dae-su, who still had been looking at you in shock, whipped back around to face forward when you caught his eye and gave him a small and unsure smile.
“Uh…” Su-hyeok started and you looked back over at him only to see him looking at you almost in a plea for help. You were sure to everyone else, though, it just looked like he was looking at Nam-ra.
The whole class mocked him and he smiled while rolling his eyes. “She was absolutely correct. A hundred percent,” he confidently stated and the class, including Ms. Park, all laughed at his attempt to get out of the situation.
“What was her absolutely correct answer then?” Ms. Park didn’t let up.
“Hmm… All right,” he started again and shot you one last hopeful look. “I-huh?”
Everything stopped when the left door slid open and a bloody Hyeon-ju walked into the classroom. A few students stood up and walked toward her before she collapsed onto the floor with Ms. Park just barely catching her. At that, everyone, including yourself, stood up and rushed over to the scene. You slid onto your knees to kneel beside your teacher, ignoring how your knees ached from the impact, and placed your fingers over her pulse to find her heartbeat extremely irregular; speeding up to a BPM of 160 then slowing back down to a 40.
“Her heartbeat is irregular, I’ve never felt or seen something like this. She is also sweating profusely despite being very cold. She should be covered with blankets to help sweat off whatever infection she’s contracted as well as taken to the hospital immediately.” You told Ms. Park in a low tone that only the people in the small circle surrounding the girl could hear.
Then, you could hear the soft and slurred words she was saying, leaning your head down closer to hear what they were.
“Ms. Park…” she whispered, her eyes unfocused and head lolling back despite being in Ms. Park’s arms.
“Yeah, it’s me. Do you recognize me?” Said woman asked.
“He grabbed me… The science teacher grabbed me and locked me up.”
Ms. Park, as well as most of the other students, had a shocked look on her face before she shook it off. “He locked you up? The science teacher? Mr. Lee Byeong-chan?”
“He tied me up…” Hyeon-ju sounded more slurred yet scared by the second as she continued with her story.
“I told you, didn’t I?” Na-yeon said arrogantly from behind the scene.
“Na-yeon, shut it,” you spoke out quietly while taking off your jacket and using it to cover Hyeon-ju’s startlingly still body. You assumed it must have been because of the shock.
Because of your concentration, you didn’t see the petrified look on Na-yeon’s face and how she bowed down slightly toward you.
“I suggest we take her to the infirmary at least, there you should call for an ambulance to come and get her so she can be put into more suitable hands,” you started to take over the situation since you could tell Ms. Park was obviously too shocked and shaken by what was happening that all she could do was hold Hyeon-ju in her arms. “Su-hyeok, you’re the strongest so you should carry her there,” you looked him in the eyes as you spoke and could see the determination lighting a fire within them. “On-jo, I-sak,” both girls stiffened at your voice being directed at them which you tried not to let affect you or your voice and continued with your instructions. “You two should go along with him and Ms. Park to be of any assistance they might need. The nurse is alone today so she might need help.”
Both girls nodded at your instructions and you quickly grabbed Hyeon-ju to help situate her onto Su-hyeok’s back. Just before they all left, you whispered a quick, “Be careful,” into Su-hyeok’s ear and he only gave a very mild nod before rushing off with the three girls.
You all sat there as you waited for the teacher and students to get back, most ignoring Ms. Park’s instructions of staying in your seats and doing your school work in favor of gossiping or playing cards with each other.
You sat with your headphones in and your music playing just loud enough to blare out the noise of everyone talking as you rested your head on your arms once again. When I-sak came in, you lowered your music and heard her talking about what happened with the girl.
“It’s no joke. She was biting people and thrashing around!” As you tried to gather all of her symptoms together and come up with a diagnosis, the closest thing you could come up with was just a cold with how little information you were given. The biting part didn’t make a whole lot of sense.
Whatever the science teacher did to her must have been something extreme.
Before you knew it, the bell had rung and neither On-jo nor Su-hyeok had returned so you wrote a note on a sticky note for Su-hyeok and waited for everyone to leave the classroom. Nam-ra told you she would save a spot for you at your normal lunch table until you told her not to worry about it and you were more than likely just going to eat it while underneath the cherry blossom tree like you did most days anyways. She nodded in acknowledgement and gave you a smile and a wink as she saw the name written on the sticky note. Once everyone had left, you walked over to Su-hyeok’s desk and placed the sticky note on his desk. As you went to walk away, you noticed a drawing of the top half of a girl holding a flower in the top right corner of his open-notebook. She looked familiar but you couldn’t place your finger on it. Noticing the slight pang in your chest, you shook your head and just decided you would ask him about it when you guys were to call next; maybe even earlier if you could catch him when nobody was around.
After grabbing your lunch and heading down to the garden section where only a few people hung around during lunch, you situated yourself underneath the cherry blossom tree and started munching on your food. With your headphones in and your music playing, you were unable to hear the screams of terror that were slowly getting louder as they approached you.
As you leaned your head back against the tree trunk, the rhythmic beat of your favorite song playing through your ears and the rest of the world canceled out, you didn’t notice the horde getting closer.

☆ Envy
★ Synopsis: Feeling envious of one certain class mate of yours is practically inevitable at this point. Good thing your lovely boyfriend is there to make you feel better!! | ★ Su-hyeok | ★ No warning‘s
Tumblr media
The feeling of a loved one becoming distant is the worst feeling ever.
And god it was happening to su-hyeok.
Su-hyeok very frantically tell‘s On-jo his problem a little too fast, causing her to look at him in confusion. "….Huh?…. Explain just a little bit slower Su-hyeok, please." He slow‘s down and tell‘s her his problem again. "Y/N is mad at me, i think… but she‘s ignoring me, getting distant and i’m worried. Do you know what‘s wrong? Maybe she told you??"
On-jo look‘s at Su-hyeok with slight confusion, again. But then slowly realizes what he‘s talking about.
On-jo look‘s at Su-hyeok with slight confusion, again. But then slowly realizes what he‘s talking about.
A few day‘s before all this; Y/N told On-jo that she had a classmate, a certain classmate that people weren’t too fond of, including Y/N. That classmate being Nam-ra. Now On-jo would’ve told Su-hyeok about this little discussion, until she remembered that Y/N asked her not to tell anyone, in which on-jo promised not to. On-jo doesn’t break promise‘s.
"No i don’t, sorry Su-hyeok" On-jo say‘s with a slight sadness in her tone, following right after with a "But you should really talk to her, instead of coming too her friend you know." Which made Su-hyeok feel a bit guilty; even if he knew it was true.
"Yeah your right, thank you On-jo" He exclaim‘s, earning a small "Your welcome" and a smile from On-jo. He leave‘s the library feeling a little ashamed he didn’t talk to you first, but that was the least of his worries right now.

That‘s all you heard from your phone, but you too much in your own world; crying, to see who it was.
"Y/N, are you still at school?“
"I need to talk to you"
"You okay? You usually answer pretty quickly"
Phone call
"Y/N?"
You finally reach down to check your phone; just to see several frantic message‘s from Su-hyeok. You were going to call him back until you remembered the small tear‘s in your eye‘s and the slight whiny-ness in your voice that he would be able to hear over the phone, so instead you just text him.
"Sorry sorry, im okay! I was just talking to someone. What‘s up?" You say, hoping to god he would believe that stupid lie. Another message pop‘s up saying "It‘s alright don’t worry, i was just wondering if you were still at school? And if so where you are? I need to talk to you about something" Oh! He want‘s to break up with me! Which was the first thing you though of when reading that message, causing another small amount of tear‘s to leave your eye‘s.
Not wanting to respond, since you knew he would come to you and well. You were a sobbing mess, but you suck it up, wipe your tear’s and reply. "I’m in classroom 2-A!" Luckily he took long enough, even if he was running as fast as he could; meaning you got a chance to look presentable again.
But not getting a reply from him back started to worry you, until the door slammed open. Seeing your boyfriend; clearly worried and breathing heavily from how fast he ran, and him seeing you. Crouched down on a wall, on your phone.
Here it is… god is this really where he leaves me?? On the floor of some classroom heartbroken?
"Y/N!! I’m so happy i found you, i wanted to talk to you" He shut‘s the door, slide‘s down on the wall next to you, he look‘s like he want‘s to say something but he doesn’t, he just sit‘s there.
After what felt like a eternity of sitting he ask‘s, "What‘s wrong? Did something happen? You‘ve been so distant lately, i’m worried." That‘s not the question you thought he was going to ask but either way; not wanting to answer, you stay silent for a second. He reassure‘s you that you don’t have to tell him, and all you can say is "I’m sorry, i don’t mean to be distant but, i’m fine! Just really busy" Which you both could tell was not only a lie, but a bad one.
"That‘s not true and you know that. You can tell me anything." You knew that was true, you really could tell him anything but you just had so much worry for how he would react, but after a moment of building up the courage you say, "I’m envious." The word‘s that fell from your mouth surprised Su-hyeok, "Of what?"
You say quietly but loud enough for him to hear "Nam-ra." which obviously he was confused cause he is incredibly oblivious to Nam-ra‘s feeling‘s for him.
"Nam-ra? Your envious of Nam-ra? Why?.." He asked as if it‘s the most confusing thing in the whole world, which made you chuckle in a "God your cute but so so stupid" way. "Why?? Have you not heard everyone since the day we started dating?"
"Tell me, i will sit and listen." Knowing that Su-hyeok isn’t one for long discussion‘s, those word‘s made you feel special. You sat there with a slight tint of red on your cheek‘s, praying he couldn’t see. After a few second’s you said.
"The day we started dating everyone was saying; "Su-hyeok and Y/N? Really? I mean.. i knew they were friends and all but i alway‘s excepted Su-hyeok and Ms. prez to date, what a bummer." And i tried to ignore it for as long as i could but god, hearing every day that your boyfriend and your friend would be better together then you and your boyfriend get‘s really fucking irritating. Especially when that friend has feeling’s for you."
He look‘s at you with confusion and slight anger in his eye’s, "She has feeling‘s for me?- Wait who the fuck is saying that??" after a few second‘s of Su-hyeok asking frantic question‘s, you put your hand over his mouth for a second to give him a chance to breathe. "Yes she has a crush on you. I love you Su-hyeok but god you are so oblivious to people‘s feeling‘s." You say with a small chuckle coming after, "I’m so sorry, Y/N. I didn‘t know she liked me like that… i’ll make sure to talk to her!" he say‘s with such a genuine smile. Every time he smile‘s at you, you can‘t help but feel so good inside.
Before you can say thank you, he beat‘s you to talking "But, I wanna know who‘s saying those thing‘s. Im gonna beat em' up for you!" He say‘s i’m a sort of jokingly tone, but follow‘s it up with "But seriously, no one should be saying that. Your the only one for me dear, you pretty, sweet, perfect, wonderful, caring. Nam-ra is a good friend but she has nothing on you, I love you." God those word‘s made you so happy, they made you feel like you were floating. "I love you so so so so soooo much, and thank you Su-hyeok, you alway‘s know exactly what to say to make me feel better. It‘s kinda scary if i’m being honest!" you say leading off with a chuckle.
"Of course, it‘s called boyfriend‘s intuition! I know exactly what you need and how your feeling, that‘s just how great i am!" He say‘s jokingly, "Oh! Also, can you pretttyyyyyy please help me out with the homework tonight? I didn‘t study…" How predictable, though you wouldn’t mind spending time with him tonight.. "Of course you didn’t, but sure." you say in a very teasingly voice. "THANK YOU! IM SAVED!!" He shout‘s, causing you too laugh and think..
God my boyfriend is a dumbass, but he’s so cute so i guess i could ignore that!

Helloooooo! Can you write about All of us are dead boys reactions when the reader tell them to be pregnant? Sorry for my awful english <3
Oh, you're fine love! Your English is better than mine! I hope it's okay that I've only done the main 3 boys!
--
All of us are dead boys reacting to you telling them you're pregnant
Disclaimer: This is set before the zombie outbreak
Warnings: pregnancy mentions, f!reader, established relationship, slight angst, mentions of sex and unprotected sex
Lee Cheong-san:
"You're what?!" "You heard me, I'm pregnant. And before you ask, yes it's yours."
He opened his mouth as if to say something, promptly closing it again, visibly distressed. He didn't know what to say or do, slightly intimidated by your passive-aggressive attitude. Obviously he knew you were probably just scared and worried, he was too.
Unable to put his thoughts into words, he simply walked up to you and gave you a big, comforting hug, carefully rubbing your back when he heard your muffled sobs.
He didn't care about his shirt being ruined, nor did he care about what anyone would think - all he cared about was your well-being. There was nothing he wanted more than to show you he'll love and support you no matter what. He didn't have a plan yet but he'll come up with one. You were both young, yes, but you didn't have anything except each other.
When he finally let go of you, the both of you had a long, serious conversation that left you mentally exhausted but you weren't scared of the future anymore. At least not as much as you were before confronting Cheong-san. He handled it better than you expected, despite the fear still present in his eyes.
Lee Su-hyeok:
"Is it a boy or a girl?" You were prepared for everything, and I mean everything, when you finally decided to have this conversation with him, but his question, and his genuinely hopeful tone caught you off guard.
Despite trying to approach the situation in the most calm, mature way you could possibly muster, you couldn't help but chuckle both at his words and his expression. A part of you was thankful for his silliness, you felt the fear and pressure constantly lingering since you found out you were pregnant, finally disappear.
It took a while for him to understand that it's too early to tell but when he did, he assured you that he will love the baby no matter what. That he will love you no matter what.
You didn't think he realised, but that was the first time he's ever told you he loved you, despite being together for a while now. He's never been the best at expressing his feelings and you've always been patient and understanding, but you were so happy and so proud of his reaction, proud of him for stepping up and taking the responsibility.
Ever since he learned about your pregnancy, he was constantly acting like an excited puppy, asking questions, following your every step and making sure you're okay, and actively participating in every step of the way. You truly couldn't imagine a better father for your child.
Yoon Gwi-nam:
"Are you sure it's mine?" he asked, after a solid couple minutes of silence. You spent the whole ride to his apartment mentally and emotionally preparing yourself for the conversation, but his question, as valid and predictable as it was, still hurt you.
Yes, you were sure the baby was his. In fact, you've never been more certain about anything in you life. Afterall, he was your first. Your first love, first kiss, first time having sex. First time having unprotected sex.
It took him a while to convince you to try it, a million times he assured you nothing bad will happen and that it will feel amazing, for the both of you. And while the second part was true, the first one turned out to be a lie. Whether accidental or not, you didn't know, but here you were, baring the consequences.
This conversation was even more awkward and anxiety inducing than you expected, but you were proud of yourself for going through with it. He didn't really say much, didn't show any emotions and after you left, he disappeared for a few days. You didn't see him, didn't hear from him, nothing.
Just when you accepted the fact that he couldn't handle the new responsibility and prepared yourself for a lifelong single parenthood, he suddenly came back, although for a while you weren't certain whether it was really him or some long lost twin he's never told you about.
For the first time since you've met him, he was caring, protective and treated you with respect and kindness you've never seen from him before. You knew it wasn't easy for him, just like it wasn't easy for you, but you appreciated his efforts. Probably more than he knew.

Am I still alive?
Tumblr media
A/N: for a long time, of course, I didn’t write about this series, oh, I miss my era when I wrote about them every day.
The reader fights to the last, but she still bites, but she is still alive and can walk and talk, which means that she will be able to protect her friends. hambie! reader
- Guys, we need to calm down. Let's make a plan. But all I want to say is I love you guys. We must fight to the last, be careful look every corner so you don't get bitten.
- Calm down?! Are you serious y/n? We may die, but you? Joon Yeong said in annoyance.
- Let's make a plan.
~~~
- Great plan! I agree, we just need to get out of here quickly.
Everyone got dressed and prepared so that no one would bite you, etc. You were sure this plan would work. Now you are all following the plan.
You completed your building and found chocolate..? Food. It was overdue but what's the difference the most important thing is food
- Guys, I found chocolate! Let's take one bite
- Thank God at least something.
You started biting off the chocolate and handing it to everyone, it was Dae-su's turn. He took a bite completely. What about Joon Yeong?
- Bro are you serious? After you, Joon Yeong.
- Oh God I'm sorry Joon Yeong I didn't mean it honestly I thought you already uh took a bite
- Come on, let's get out of here.
You opened the door and quickly began to act, everything is fine but the zombies are surrounding you, you have to fight them off. You see that Jun Yong gets bitten and quickly went to his territory pushing him away from the zombies. Crap neck hurts..
- What the fuck, y/n you're a moron, what's wrong with you?!
- Im okay you know, I just have to leave you guys.
You climbed up the building and went outside, a bunch of monsters attacked you, but you looked at your friends with a smile and gave them a sign to leave as soon as possible. Many gave you one last look after realizing that you can't be saved.
They got out of this shit.
- We did it! Everyone is alive? And we are lucky that the monsters went to one side!
- Hey guys are you okay? Joon Yeong?
- Y/n she sacrificed herself so we could escape...
- You're only joking soon.. Oh shit oh shit is she really left there?
- Cheong san calm down.. She stayed there so that we could survive..
- Shit... We.. we have to continue this way.
"meanwhile with you"
Damn your head is spinning and your neck still hurts, what the? Are you still at the gym? Oh shit, you have bites all over the place but now you have a good sense of smell and hearing. This means you can find your friends.
All have been considered, but they must make it to the shelter. Will it all end like this? Will you just rot in the gym?
You could hear your friends as they walk through the woods, you decided to follow the sounds and decided to speed up. The path was long but you were able to find them. You decided to lightly and quietly follow them
You touched Joon Yeong's shoulders, and he screamed at the sight of you, turning everyone's attention to you.
- What the hell? Are you alive?
- Am I still alive?
- Damn don't scare us! And don't sneak up on us like that!
- Okay, guys, let's not be distracted, after all, we must find shelter and live in peace.
You hugged everyone, realizing that you and Nam-ra are the main defenders from zombies, you were so happy for yourself.
