>> link saaie VJF verslag
Olivier Naert (°03; /-60kg; no JRL; Bavikhove): 5° (2 own - 9 dln)
-- Alexandru Preda (°??; Rou; /-55kg; 148° CRL) is een Cadet (u18), die tot deze zomer vocht in /-55kg, maar zowel op de ECup’s van Zagreb (0 own) als Bucharest (1 own) de poules niet overleefde.
-- Sebastian Fudulu (°05; Rou; /-55kg; 103° CRL) is eveneens een Cadet (u18): op de 5 ECup’s waar we weet van hebben (Porec; 2x Bucharest; Zagreb; 9° Bielsko-Biala) behaalde hij in totaal 5 overwinningen op 12 wedstrijden;
Verliezen doet Olivier van:
-- Pietro Andreini (°04; Ita; hier 3°), een 1ste-jaars u21, die 4 ECup medailles won bij de u18.
-- Artem Horban (°??; Ukr; hier 3°): 9° Paks’22 u21/-60kg na 2 own.
Ray Marinx (°04; /-66kg; no JRL; JC Koksijde): 9° (1 own - 22 dln)
-- wint zijn eerste en enige kamp tegen thuis-judoka en Cadet Claudiu Oancea (°05; Rou; 66° CRL);:
-- verliest vervolgens in 1/4-fin tegen Yan Raskin (°03; Ukr; hier 5°) : 3°NK’18 u18/-50kg; in zijn Cadet periode géén top-8 op ECup’s; out (0 own) op de ECup u21/-60kg Malaga’22;
-- verliest zijn 1ste repechage tegen Cristian Miceli (°03; Ita; hier 7°): 5x top-8 ECup’s als Cadet (1 medaille: goud Coïmbra’18 /-50kg); hier in Cluj zijn 5de junior ECup, en een 2de 7°-plaats, na Lignano eerder dit jaar.
Hooray for overseas players. Finally launching in Jap server cos China server is kinda pain in the ass. Now we have Chinese, Korea and Japan version. But probably will be F2P player for Japanese server cos I invested way too heavily for China server. And China CV is much more suitable for the characters, in my opinion. And I can switch to Jap CV for Chinese server too. And it is gonna be a long wait cos currently China server is at Chapter 19. But on the brighter side, more people to fangirl with me!!! taken from: weibo http://fx.weico.cc/share/37118188.html?weibo_id=4285945043798379

At 19, Tong Nian (Yang Zi) has the whole world at her feet. A brilliant IT programming student, with stellar grades and an equally impressive social media following built around her covers of Japanese songs, Tong Nian never has a problem meeting new people or making friends. But that all changes the day Han Shang Yan (Li Xian) walks into her life.
A genius in his own right, Han Shang Yan is one of the world’s top professional gamers. A legend in the world of esports, Shang Yan is used to living in the spotlight but never once has he let it his position get in the way of his profession. Always working towards that next win, he has never let himself be distracted by the people around him, especially when it comes to women.
Smitten by Hang Shang Yan the moment she first lays eyes on him, Tong Nian tries to find a way to approach her new crush, but can never seem to find the words. Every attempt she makes ends up failing miserably. Cold and uninterested, Shang Yan barely even recognizes Tong Nian’s existence, or so it seems.
Could Tong Nian’s persistence catch the eye of a man who sees no one? To Tong Nian it may seem impossible but everyone knows, anything’s possible when it comes to love.

My thoughts on this drama :
The title of the drama is off putting. It even sounds silly. The story is not. It's about friendship. It's about teamwork. It's about unity toward a same goal. And you know what, it's beautiful! My main dislikes about the drama (and that's what made the rating go down) are the overly bubbly main female lead (too childish, too pink, not clothed well enough) and the repetitive flashbacks that ended up looking like fillers to make it look longer... Otherwise, the characters are all amazing in their own right, and you cannot help to like them all. A special thought for lil' Demo, who's too pure for this world. The main male lead is extremelly charismatic, in the brooding way (but damn when the guy smiles, it's night and day). The gaming/computer programming competition were interesting, though I'm still a bit confused as to what CTF was (I feel like they never explained it in details). A great watch, I recommand.
I need help looking for a face claim.. I have a Taiwanese character who I might have a sibling, I'm not sure if she will, but I would still want to ask just in case if I actually decide to create a sibling for her. The sibling could be a brother or a sister. Taiwanese, or someone who could pass as Taiwanese if I have to use someone who's Chinese.

Anime Names Kanji Series (Sort of) #4: Mr Love Queen’s Choice
Instead of anime names kanji this is actually otome game names hanzi (hanzi = Chinese characters). But who’s counting. (Me. I’m always counting.)
I did a quick rundown of the four love interests’ Chinese names on the delightfully named Discord server Thots of Mr Love (hilarious folk), so I might as well also post it here.
For the people who don’t know the game but have a compulsive need to read everything I post on this shitty Tumblr, MLQC is an otome (female-oriented dating simulation) mobile game from a Chinese publisher. In China, the game was and remains a smash hit. The plot premise is that you play a young woman (age 22) who has inherited her late father’s television production company and is trying to keep it from going under... but more importantly you have superpowers, called “evol” (people who possess evol are “evolvers”). And you are basically a living McGuffin and everyone is trying to kidnap and/or kill you, but fortunately for you, four handsome young men with ~mysterious connections to your past~ are there.
The setting is “Loveland City” but it’s definitely Shanghai. Like there’s the Pearl Tower and everything. The game can’t seem to decide whether the English localization is set in China or not. Or rather, they don’t want to point it out but also can’t be bothered to get rid of the many, many, many mainland Chinese references.
I’m going to use their surnames as spelled in my fanfic Queen’s Choice(s) but the canon English game gives them first names only, even when this leads to awkwardness. You will notice I... forgot to finish this sentence when I first posted this. WHOOPS. You will notice that I deliberately did not use pinyin to romanize the surnames of Victor and Kiro, because of my headcanons about how they fit into the larger Sinosphere. (Short version: Victor’s family has been internationally prominent for a while; Kiro is a Hongkonger. Also I was today years old when I found out that the preferred spelling of that in the Oxford English dictionary is as a one word with no spaces)
Victor Lee 李泽言 Li Zeyan “Lee Dzuh-yen”
Richie Rich here has one of the most common Chinese surnames, Li or Lee, which means “plum”. “Ze” means “a pond, a marsh” and by extension “pond-like” which when used to describe something like a colour would be “lustrous, sleek, glossy”. “Yan” means “words, speech”.
Gavin Bai 白起 Bai Qi “Bye Chee”
As a curiosity, this is the exact same name as an actual important historical guy whose nickname was “the human butcher”, YIKES. “Bai” means “white” like the colour. “Qi” means “get started, begin, arise”.
Lucien Xu 许墨 Xu Mo “Shwee Mwo” (if you speak a language like German or French that has the sound represented in IPA as [y] then “Shü Mwo”)
Xu means “permit, allow”. Mo means “ink”.
Kiro Chow 周棋洛 Zhou Qiluo “Joe Chee-lwo”
Of all four names, this is the name that sounds most like somebody just took a sound and made it into characters. Zhou means “around” (original meaning: field). “Qi” means “chess” as a board game category, primarily bringing to mind the games of “go” or “xiangqi (Chinese chess)” rather than Western chess, although the same word is used for it. “Luo” is a term used in river names and is very common in sinicized foreign words.
Basically the Chinese name sounds like an adaptation of a foreign name, rather than sounding like a typical Chinese name. Which makes sense for Kiro’s “exotic” image (and other, spoilery reasons).
Learn Chinese in Chinese stories|Chinese Idiom |Li Bing Constructed Dujiangyan
"Tian Fu zhi Guo" means ‘ The land of abundance’, which refers to the Chengdu Plain in Sichuan Province, where giant pandas live. In the early years ,the flood and drought disasters in the Chengdu Plain were frequent, and its prosperity benefited from a hydraulician named Li Bing, who construced Dujiangyan two thousand years ago . Dujiangyan eliminated the floods, irrigated the Chengdu Plain and made it become the land of abundance .
Liu "Zz1tai" Zhi-Hao, Top-Laner für Royal Never Give Up, kündigte seinen Rücktritt aus der Profiliga der Legenden während des Team-Jubiläumstroms am 27. Dezember.
