So, Wukong hates adults, right? Did he try to scare or hurt Macaque when they first met?

Or did MK and Mei stop the two from harming each other?

they first met when they were young (well, MK and Mei hadn't even appeared on the horizon yet)

explanation for comic: young cryptid Wukong had almost no contact with people (because he had not yet taken over much territory and lived very deep in the remote wild places) and had not yet formed a special opinion about them

and Liu Er had been on campaigns for many months, and he often appeared on the borders of Wukong's territory, because of which Wukong, one might say, got used to him

and when they met, Wukong took Liu Er for a "forest animal" and decided not to touch him

especially because in my headcanon, when they met, macaque used to be the shorter one then during the brotherhood they were around the same height and after that my man just skyrocketed while wukong barely grew an inch you bet your butt macaque is taking revenge for all the short jokes he had to bare

i even did some doodles about this a while back lmao
