Ichijiku (Tigress)
The gentle caress of water lapping at my skin never ceases to soak all of the anxious worries out of my body while I float about the surface tension of the pool. Even when Mirio jumps in and sends me swirling around, I only laugh and sweep my arm across the waves to soak him in retribution.
“Mirio!” I cackle, swimming over and wrapping my arms around his neck. “I was trying to enjoy the pool!”
“Well, I just helped you enjoy it a little quicker.” He winks, pecking my cheek.
“Is that what it was?” I shake my head and roll my eyes, earning me another kiss as he squeezes me close. “What am I gonna do with you?”
“Hm, I don’t know that I’d go for much on Amazon.”
“Are you kidding? You’d go for Lemillion yen!” I giggle, screeching when he blows a raspberry against my neck. “Ah, that sounds so gross!”
“We’re both covered in water! What did you expect?” Mirio laughs.
“A warning at the very least!”
I pull back so that we both go sprawling in the water. Of course, Mirio uses his quirk to get the upper hand, and the next thing I know he’s body slamming me and a torrential flood showers upon us. When I surface again, I throw my legs around the back of his shoulders and ruffle his hair on purpose.
“You will cower before meee!” I cackle.
“Never! I will not bow to your goddess-like charms!” He dives in and water shoots up my nose as I’m dragged under.
We both come back up sputtering and coughing and laughing.
“I didn’t think to plug my nose.” I gag, huffing all the excess water out of my nostrils. “You traitor!”
“Well I got my just desserts because I didn’t think to plug mine, either!” Mirio snorts, shaking his head and wiping his nose.
“You were the one that dove!”
“I didn’t think that far ahead into my plan.”
Laughter echoes across the pool as we both cough out the remaining water in our lungs. Then I glide over to the edge and heave myself out, standing and finding my towel. I wrap it around my shoulders and sit at the edge as Mirio continues floating.
“Aww, are you done already?” He pouts.
“Already? Mirio, we’ve been swimming for two hours!” I roll my eyes, sticking my feet back in and dousing at him with a kick. “If I stay in there any longer you’ll be dating a raisin!”
“I’d still love you if you were a raisin!”
“Aww, would you love me if I was a worm?”
“I just told you I’d love you as an inanimate raisin! You think I wouldn’t love you as a worm?” Mirio swims over and settles between my calves as he rests his head on my thigh. “Of course I’d still love you if you were a worm. Though, admittedly, I would miss this version of you.”
My fingers comb through his hair as I look down at his cheeky grin. I scoot aside so he can climb out and sit with me, and then lay my head on his shoulder. Both of us watch the rays of light hit the water and the neighbor’s cat sunbathing on their patio. A bird visits the birdfeeder standing nearby and hightails it the second he sees us.
That afternoon, I’m reminded of the simple joys of life as the summer sun burns it into my skin and I smile.
. . . . .
“Mirio, no. Mirio, don’t you dare!” I scream as he picks up a roach from inside the tent and holds it out to me. “You know I hate roaches!”
“He’s just a little guy. If you hold him, you won’t be as afraid.” His blue eyes gaze so innocently at me even though he’s holding the little demon in the palm of his hand. “Come on.”
“He is not little! And no!” I snap, hopping a few feet back. “I’m already tempted to tell you I’m sleeping in your room tonight and burning the tent. Just get it away from me!”
“If you insist.” Mirio smiles and disappears to the front yard for a few minutes.
Only after I’ve scoured the surface of the tent while he’s gone do I trust it enough to lay my sleeping bag down. I scream again when he sneaks up and attacks my sides.
“Mirio Togata, stop scaring me or I’m going home!” I whine.
“Nooooo!” He wraps his arms around my waist and pulls me down on top of him. “I didn’t mean it. I take it all back!”
With my back to his chest, he tucks his face in my neck and I squirm. It takes a moment for my body to relax after all the adrenaline his antics have caused. But eventually, I sigh deeply and lay against him, closing my eyes and reveling in his closeness.
“Do you still love me?” He murmurs against my ear.
“Of course I do.” I crane my neck and kiss his cheek. “But if you try to make me hold a roach again and it’s not a matter of life and death, I will murder you in your sleep.”
“Noted.”
Awkward limbs fumble around each other as we both get back to setting up our sleeping area. My eyes scan for more creepy crawlies while Mirio seems unbothered. When a bug flies into our tent, I panic before it lands and I recognize the large moth.
“Oh, so you’re fine with this huge moth, but the second you see a roach…” Mirio smirks.
“I can’t help it!” I grab my pillow and smack him with it. “Any bug that my brain thinks shouldn’t be bigger than a quarter freaks me out! I’m fine with tiny roaches and beetles. But the second they get too big, they’re fair game!”
“Haha! I love you so much.” He coos.
“I love you too, you permeating punk.” I stick my tongue out at him.
At long last, we both crawl into our sleeping bags and cuddle in close. I shut off the lantern when it’s time for sleep and steady my breathing. Sleep doesn’t come easily, but just as I’m starting to fade, Mirio’s voice calls out to me.
“Hey, Ichan?”
“Mm?”
“Why did you decide to become a hero?”
Silence blankets us as the crickets stall for me with a song. Childhood memories flash through my mind. Yelling pervades most of it, but there was laughter too. Playful running around the house gets sprinkled in with the consistent angry accusations my mother would always throw at my father and me.
“You know how I grew up,” I begin, glad for the darkness cloaking my expressions. “There might have been a lot of suffering, but there was some good in it too. I decided to be a hero so that I could offer a little bit of good into peoples’ lives when things go wrong. I want to be reliable, so no one else has to suffer the same way I did.”
The silky sound of skin sliding over sleeping bag stretches across until I feel his hand squeeze mine. Tears prick at my eyes and I swallow them down, turning to tuck my head into his chest, dragging my sleeping bag with me.
“I didn’t grow up in the same manner, but that’s how I feel too. I want everyone to be capable of smiling.” Mirio whispers, stroking my hair and planting a kiss on my forehead. “What would you have done if you hadn’t gone down the pro-hero path?”
“Something artsy.” I say. “I’ve thought about it before. I think I would have either started my own business as a baker or maybe sell some crochet goodies of mine.”
“I still have the stuffed bear you made me.”
“Really?”
“Sure do.”
“What would you have done, Mi-kun?”
“Mom says I would make a good lawyer.” He chuckles. “But I think I might have become a comedian or motivational speaker.”
“I can see that.”
“Or maybe if you’d started a bakery, I would have owned a flower shop so our lives could have still intertwined.” He kisses my cheek. “I can’t imagine a life without you.” “Me either.” I agree, heart thrumming as I hesitantly add. “You’re like my family now, Mirio.”
“You’re my family, too.” He reassures, his hold on me tightening. “And one day, I’ll buy you a nice ring, and we’ll get married, find a house, and have a big family.” He sighs pleasantly as he trails off. “Just me and you against the world.”
“Forever?”
“Forever.”

🌻 [#BnHA] Sunny Birthday 🌻
Today, June 21, is my birthday, so like every year, I made this drawing as a self-gift 🎁💖
These past few months some things have happened in the fandom I'm usually in. Things that I haven't liked and that have made me feel uncomfortable, have "killed" my love for many things 👎🏻😓
On the other hand, I also had personal issues that have kept me away from it, so I started working on drawings of my own stories, until something happened that made me recover my love for Mirio Togata (which, btw, didn't disappear, but I put aside because of toxic people) and interest in "Boku no Hero Academia" ("My Hero Academia") 🦸🏫
So, here is my comfort character of these last months, Mirio Togata, hugging my avatar, Majo Pierce. A hug like that, makes anyone's day!! ☀️🧚
Without more to say, I hope you like it!! 🌺 And Happy Birthday to me!!! 🎉🍰🥳

Requests and Rules
I will currently take requests for Demon Slayer and My Hero Academica for the following characters. (If you're not sure about a request, you can still submit it, and I'll get back to you :) )
MHA
Shoto Aizawa
Oboro Shirakumo (loud cloud)
Keigo Takami (Hawks)
Toshinori Yagi (Allmight)
Shoto Todoroki
Katsuki Bakugo
Izuku Midoriya
Hitoshi Shinsou
Mirai Sasaki (Sir Night Eye)
Miro Togata (lemillion)
Rody Soul
Tenya Iida
Tensei Iida
(If there is someone you want that is not listed, you can still send a request, and I'll see)
Demonslayer
Giyuu Tomioka
Sanemi Shinazugawa
Genya Shinazugawa
Kyojuro Rengoku
Shinjuro Rengoku
Tanjiro Kamado
Inosuka Hashibira
Sabito
( If you want a character not listed, feel free to still send a request)
Please Note: I will do past ships with characters listed and not listed, for example: Past Tengen x Reader with Present Rengoku x reader.
I will also do none romantic ships with people listed and not listed.
Rules/ Things I won't write
Yander
It's fine if you like that stuff, but I just can't write it well. Now, that's not to say i won't do a, for example: character x (y/n) where (y/n) has a stalker and is saved by the Character of your choice.
Incest
This is self-explanatory.
Smut
I'm not good at writing explicit scenes. I'll write spicy scenes that fade to black and imply that something occurred, but not smut.
Polyamory/ Polygamy
I myself am not Poly and feel I would not be able to properly write such fics. So, no Rengoku x Tengen x Y/N. But I will do love triangles like were (y/n) has to choose one or the other.
Male (y/n)
I'm not a male, so I don't think I'd be all that good a writing (y/n) as one since I don't know the male experience. (Sorry to all my guys out there, but I mostly write in second person, so you can imagine (y/n) as a male)
OC's
I won't do OCs, but an exception is for example would be: Endeavor, and (Y/n) were together as teens, and (Y/n) got pregnant, and he left her, now he's trying to make things right with his son.
(Y/N) is still in the story, but the main focus is her son and his relationship with Endeavor, and (Y/n) and him are in no way getting back together.
Please try to be specific and give me a lot of details.
Example request:
Tanjiro x (Y/n) where (y/n) is Rengoku's younger sister (not a demon slayer), and they meet after Rengoku died on the train. They end up connecting and becoming pin pals, and over time, fall in love.
Tanjiro comes to visit her and Senjuro, and Shinjuro (who is now sober) pulls him aside and tells him to stop waiting on asking (y/n) out because if he doesn't, he'll regret it. He heads Shinjuro's advice and asks (y/n) out.

Making Choices
<-❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀->
Mirio togata x oc
It doesn’t matter your profession if two single individuals spend more than a little bit of time with each other they think you’re dating, but they were on the money. Now irresponsibility is leading to some consequences.
<-❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀—❀->
“So, Aro I hear that you are very close friends with Lemillion and Suneater,” the interviewer asks as I think for a moment.
Looking at my visor I chuckle anxiously. “Yeah, we grew up together. They’re the best brothers I could hope for.”
He visibly winces. “Brothers, nothing closer than that.”
“Well, seeing as their and my personal lives are discreet; I’d rather not share any more information about that.”
“You’re right we shouldn’t pry too much.”
The following questions were more invasive than that last one. God, I just about buried myself in my wings by the end of it. I felt relief when my coat finally felt to the ground at my apartment door. Working as a pro hero can be hard when flying heroes weren’t able to access a lot of emergencies, damn Hawks set too high of a standard. I didn’t fail to notice the shoes that sat in the gekan. A bit of energy returns to me as I walk farther in.
“Welcome back Sunflower,” Mirio’s grin shined brighter than the sun itself.
“Alright Mr. Sun. Put those pearly whites away before you blind me again,” I tease as I sit on the stool. “How was your day?”
“It was a day, but how was yours?” he places a plate in front of me. “Your agent told me that you had an interview today.”
Groaning I put my hands together in a silent prayer over my food. “Do not remind me, I thought it would be a simple question. But no, they seem so interested in who we take to bed. It’s not enough for them to have all eyes on us at all times. Poor Kyoko can’t catch a break.”
He sits next to me and nods. “I hear you there, I always thought that the interviews for you were a bit much.”
“It won’t change now, it’s just a vicious cycle. All I need now is something life changing to happen to make me need to disappear from heroism and start anew somewhere else,” I joke as I continue to eat.
Mirio frowns. “You need to be careful with stuff like that Yoru, remember the last time you said something like that?”
Swallowing my food, I take a sip from the cup next to me before sighing. “Do not remind me. I was terrified when you lost your quirk. Why would anyone ever abuse another person’s quirk like that?”
“You know as well as I do that there are bad people.”
Shaking my head, I look at my finished food then to the man next to me. “A reminder was uncalled for Mirio, I mean our entire job description is to catch those kinds of people in the safest way possible. My wind can only reach so far, if it wasn’t for you and Tamaki; I would have failed a lot time ago.”
“No, I’m sure you’d be fine without us,” he smacks the small gap between my pairs of wings.
Mirio would visit my apartment often, that was possibly where the question in our relationship came in. the truth was, I didn’t know where I stood with him. I still saw him as someone I was close to, but I didn’t know his feelings and I couldn’t just force him to tell them to me. It was maybe a week after this particular visit that I noticed something different, at least with myself. I couldn’t keep food down at all. This lead to me passing out because of my high calorie intake. Going to the doctor only made me terrified. Inviting Tamaki to my apartment I try not to break down when he walks in.
“Yoru, what happened? You seemed really worried on the phone,” he calls.
“What am I gonna do Tamaki?”
He raises a brow looking at me. “What do you mean?”
Tears flood my vision as I try to form the words. “I’m pregnant, and I can’t tell Mirio.”
“What? But I thought you two had a thing going on?” he frowns.
“I know, but he hasn’t exactly told me anything. So, I don’t know,” my shoulders shake as I try to piece the information in my head. “You’re the only person I could turn to.”
“Alright, well. Sit down first, you’re scaring me.”
Doing as he says I frown. “What now?”
“You should tell Mirio,” he admits. “I mean don’t get me wrong, I’m just making a suggestion. In the end what you do it up to you Yoru, but I feel like he has a right to know.”
I nod. “Okay, I’ll tell him. But only if it seems like he’s okay with it.”
But instead of telling him I sit in the hospital looking at my cuts and watching to woman heal me.
“What were you thinking fighting while pregnant? You’re so lucky that you’re a patient or I’d whoop your ass myself,” hisses the blue haired girl.
“That it’s my job and my state of being should not be a consequence of people getting hurt,” I grumble. “Look it won’t matter soon. I’m leaving for America.”
She drops a bit of water almost drenching the floor. “What?!”
I nod. “I can’t just disappear here and raise this jellybean. I came to this conclusion on my own okay.”
“What about Mirio?”
“I told him not to tell you,” I pout.
“Tamaki and I are getting married, he wouldn’t be able to keep secrets if it weren’t for work,” she rolls her eyes.
“I’m not gonna tell him,” Looking to my arm as the skin starts to repair itself, I mumble. “I haven’t seen him since.”
“Aro!”
“It’s for the best Kyoko, I’ll get in touch as soon as I get my grounds. Besides I’ll be fine over there, if anything it will be an adventure with extra responsibilities,” I mumble feeling the weight of something heavy on my back. “Promise me that if I need help, you’ll answer my calls.”
Kyoko looks at me and frowns. “You’re too damn stubborn for your own good.”
“I’ll be back, maybe in a year or two.”
I actually didn’t return to Japan until three years later. Holding my bright blond toddler in my arms I chuckle as she points at everything around her. So excited to see so many things.
“Mommy everyone is speaking the language we speak at home,” she giggles.
“Yes, we’re gonna be living here from now on,” I smirk as I rub my nose to hers. “Let’s go find our apartment, okay?”
She nods enthusiastically. Three years ago, anyone would be able to recognize you just by the short wispy green hair and your two sets of wings protruding from your back. But now your hair was rather long just from not caring to cut it. Just as I get ready to walk across the street the weight in my arms disappears. These people are stupid.
“These people make it too easy,” laughs the villain.
Keeping myself rooted to the ground I shout after them. “Hiyori, don’t you dare activate your quirk!”
Usually, people would panic as their child gets taken away. Hiyori was already pretty used to this and kind of sends me a side eye. Three years old and has almost been kidnapped many times. What I didn’t account for? Her quirk was exactly like Mirio’s. Trying to call the police or even keep an eye for how far away she is. If I could fly to her I would. This itch to run after and take my child back would end.
“Mommy, I want ice cream after this.”
I laugh dryly as I hear my daughter’s voice. “If we get back to the apartment before night fall, I think I’ll order sushi.”
“Why are you so calm?”
Looking to the person next to me I grin. “I was a hero; my daughter will be fine. This isn’t the first time someone has tried.”
To my surprise my junior saves Hiyori. He locks eyes with me, and I almost see him burst into tears as he grins wide.
“Senpai, I thought you died,” Deku sobs.
Narrowing my eyes, I sigh. “How many of y’all wrote me off as dead? Rude much.”
“Rude.” Hiyori agrees as she holds my hand tight.
“I’m sorry, I should get back to work,” he mumbles.
“Say bye to Mr. Deku, Hiyori,” I suggest as he tries to walk away.
“Bye, bye uncle Deku.” She grins with a big wave of her free hand.
He gives her another smile before walking away. Taking my bag and Hiyori’s hand we walk toward our apartment. I was excited for a floor level place, with Hiyori’s quirk showing signs so early on, every day was a nightmare. All the boxes were already there thanks to Kyoko and Tamaki. Without their help this whole idea of moving back to Japan would have been a dream. Hiyori wastes no time running around to survey the area. I begin tearing into boxes to at least give us a place to sleep for the night. As night falls upon us the toddler gets sleepy, and I sit up putting small things away like dishware and cutlery.
“Walking straight into strangers houses is very unbecoming of you Mr. Togata.” Pulling myself up on the counter I push the few things that I wouldn’t be needing to the top .
“Well, you’re not a stranger sunflower,” he laughs.
Sliding down I look at him with a frown. “Who told you?”
Mirio wasn’t always a serious person, but he could be.
“Just get out.” Turing back to the dishes I put things back more aggressively. “Please.”
“Why did you leave?” God it hurts to hear him care so much.
Putting the cup down, I turn to him again. “It would have been better if you pretended, I didn’t exist. Like you have been for the past three years.”
“That wasn’t my fault! You disappeared without so much as a note,” he growls.
“Don’t raise your voice,” I state walking across the way to the hallway.
“Why?”
“First of all, I have neighbors, you’re going to wake someone up.”
“No.”
Hearing the padding feet. I quickly turn to pick up the whimpering child. Hiyori nuzzles into my shoulder grabbing my shirt in her hand. Mirio pauses. Many emotions run across his face, but only two was prevalent when he looked at me. Anger and hurt.
“Oh, so you left to go have someone’s kid?” he scoffs.
I freeze in place. “Right, I didn’t tell you because you disappeared and didn’t contact me before I left.” My head hurt as the small wind swept in front of me.
“Mommy, what is Daddy saying?” Hiyori asks as she sniffles.
“Don’t worry baby girl, Mommy is gonna have to talk to Daddy for a little bit.” I whisper to her.
Mirio the slow processing person he is, has a confused look on his face.
“You’re not leaving right? That mean guy tried to take me away from you and I don’t want you to disappear on me,” she whimpers.
I hold her tighter. “My little feather of sunlight, I’m not going anywhere until you don’t need me anymore.”
Content with my answer she lays her head down and I force my quirk to stop. Sitting on one of the boxes I look at Mirio and motion for him to stand in the kitchen. Hiyori was already half asleep, so I only needed to put her back on the bed. Walking to the only room we had set up I lay her down gently. She nuzzles into the pillow, and I take careful steps out of the room. Mirio still standing in the kitchen looks at me with so much pain.
“Why didn’t you tell me?”
“What? That I was pregnant? That I was scared? Or how depressed I was to not know if you would even be happy about the news?” I whisper.
“That she’s mine.”
“Because, we had just started getting stable in our positions. It wasn’t hard for me to slide away from the spotlight,” thinking about what happened before I sigh.
“Sunflower, please. Why didn’t you tell me? I would have been so happy?”
I glare. “Not even a week after I left you had someone new on your arm. I’m not dense Mirio.”
“That was a misunderstanding.”
Picking up a new box I shake my head. “Mirio, I talked to Tamaki. It wasn’t a misunderstanding.”
“But as soon as I found out you were gone, I looked for you.”
“Mirio. Please, you’re only hurting me more by trying to keep just trying to justify it. I don’t want to wake Hiyori up again; her schedule is already ruined from the flight.”
He looks at me. “Will you talk to me again?”
Rolling my eyes, I grip the box firmly. “If I’m up for it. But right now, after almost losing my soft sun, no.”
“Alright, I’ll see you later Sunflower,” he mutters before leaving.
Time always moves so slow, while also going too quickly. I spent my time fixing the apartment. Hiyori has a room to herself, but she didn’t like being separated from me. She often had accidents with her quirk, and I wasn’t sure what I could do. Before I knew it, we’d been living in Musutafu for almost two months. I didn’t have to worry about work things for at least another month, but I couldn’t sit still. Hiyori wanted to go to a daycare and Tamaki wanted to check and see if we settled in well.
“So, you move in and didn’t call us until now?” feeling the sharp smack of the girl next to him I frown.
“Kyo, on the first day here a villain tried to kidnap Hiyori. I thought I’d have to fighter her if her quirk activated while he was in the air.” Recounting the event, I also let them walk past me. “And Mirio just walked into my house like it was the most normal thing ever.”
Tamaki grumbles. “He always does whatever he wants to.”
I nod. Hiyori runs up and looks at Tamaki with a grin.
“Uncle Tamaki look I’m not a jellybean anymore,” she chuckles.
“You’re right,” he bends down to pick her up.
“What did you tell her?” Kyoko giggles.
“That the last time she saw you two in person that she was no bigger than a jellybean,” picking up the plates and setting the table I sigh. “But him sneaking in wasn’t even the bad part. He got mad at me and woke her up. Hiyori was having a hard time adjusting after the flight.”
She looks at me. “Mommy, when is Daddy gonna come by again?”
“I don’t know honey.”
“Oh okay.”
This earns confused looks from my friends.
“Is it really that easy?”
I can’t help but roll my eyes. “Hiyori is very smart, but please remember that she is three and a simple answer will satisfy her curiosity. She also has a very similar thinking pattern to Mirio.”
“That’s sad.”
The rest of the night was filled with conversations and catching up. But as they were leaving Tamaki pulled me aside while Kyoko played with Hiyori.
“You know if you need a job, they still want you back if you’re willing.” He informs me.
Looking at Kyoko and Hiyori, I shake my head. “Tamaki, I can’t. I only moved back because it would be easier to make sure that Hiyori isn’t kidnapped. They are lax on their rules in America, but their punishment against villains is ruthless.”
“I know but I hate feeling like I helped end your hero career,” he sighs.
“That was my own doing, but it would have happened one way or another,” I point out.
Hiyori runs over to me, and I pick her up. But just as they get ready to leave someone is at my door. Tamaki frowns but let’s our friend walk past him. Kyoko seems conflicted as she is almost dragged out by Tamaki. Mirio looks at me sadly but adjust the things in his hands.
“I want to talk.”
“Fine.”
With the closing of the door, I turn back to the living room. Mirio walks in behind me and I sit on the couch letting Hiyori lean against me. She was already tuckered out and that just meant that she would be asleep before I really talked to Mirio.
“I’m sorry for acting the way that I did,” he sighs before taking a seat on one of the chairs.
Rolling my eyes, I pat Hiyori with a mumble. “Right, there’s only so far you can take things like that before something bad happens.”
“I know that.” His eyes seem to get darker before he speaks again. “I should have talked to you before. I should have—”
“Are you only going to talk to me about what you should have done?” Standing up slowly I try to make sure that the sleeping toddler won’t slip from my grip. “I’ll put her in bed, just wait here a second.”
Hiyori grips my shirt tightly as tears seem to fill her eyes, she was running warm, but it wasn’t something that I was worried about before. Pressing her forehead to mine I frown.
“What’s wrong?”
I turn toward Mirio and shrug. “I don’t know. She doesn’t usually cling this tight to me.”
He walks up and I’m reminded just how much he towers over me.
“Can you check her back?” Adjusting my hold on her I wait.
He does as I ask and frowns. “She’s got some red stripes on her back.”
My eyes for wide. She was growing wings, this late? It’s gonna hurt so much for her.
“Shit, I was hoping that she wouldn’t have to go through that too. Sunshine, could you get some hot water I have to put a hot cloth on her back to help some of the pain,” I mumble.
Walking into my room I lay my daughter on her stomach before dimming the light and fixing her shirt. Mirio was fast with getting some water, I pull one of the cloths from the bedside table and dip it into the water. He sits on the other side of the bed while I place the cloth on her back gently.
“Thank you,” I sigh.
“You’ll probably hear me say sorry for the rest of my life, but I want to spend more time with you and Hiyori.” Mirio’s hand sits on mine.
Looking at his hand and back at his face I sigh. “We can see.”

~Sun Showers ~ Mirio x Fem!Reader/Oc (Chapter 1)
Tumblr media
Synopsis~ Quirks are as much a blessing as they are a curse.
This is the reality Toogata Mirio is confronted with upon interning with Nighteye Agency. It is hard to create a program that can counsel all the different varieties of abilities that can manifest in a quirk. Most follow a basic formula that is easy to adapt and control... while others fall through the crack with a quirk that does not fit into counseling parameters.
When Mirio responds to a flyer that is seeking help for a final art project, he encounters a girl who clearly is one the few who has fallen through the cracks. The more he gets to know her the more he learns how unstable her quirk is.If she doesn't gain control, he fears that she might become one of the many who become another problem in the system. A statistic that is "treated" and lost.
He can't let that happen.
He won't let her fall. ~

Chapter 4
Wanted to post a full version on Tumblr as it might be easier for some to read. Hope you enjoy <3
                                                  *    *    *
Mirio thoughtfully thumbed the green flyer in his hand as he looked around himself trying to gain somewhat of a handle on his surroundings. The one thing he knew was that he was currently at Tsukuru High School…. And that was the current extent of his knowledge. Currently, he was in decent sized courtyard that had a strip of grass planted down the center with benches dashed along on either side. Around the courtyard was a string of tan doors situated under white awnings, but for the life of him, he couldn’t figure out where their room markers were. This school wasn’t nearly as big as U.A. so he had figured it would be no problem finding the room mentioned on the flyer! Alas… he was gravely mistaken.
Mirio quickly brought the flier back up to his face reading it over for a third time now-
~Wanted ~
Nude models for final art project.
3 session commitment.
Will compensate time with a paid in full dinner.
This is professional - I really need to pass my class.
I promise it will be a good dinner!
If interested meetup time is from 3pm-5pm at classroom B32a at Tsukuru High School.
I will be there every day, please consider!!
Please!!
- 3rd year, Ueno Yua
He had discovered the flier while patrolling with Bubble Girl and knew immediately he needed to help out a fellow student in need! Especially after they asked so kindly, and he would get free dinner out of it which was an especially nice bonus!
It all worked out perfectly, Sir Nighteye had him doing patrols from 11am till 1pm, then a check in from 1pm till 2pm, which would give him more than enough time to get across town to Tsukuru High within the time stated on the flier! Unless he got horribly lost… which he did- because for some reason this school decided not to mark their classrooms!
Mirio released a deep sigh just as he felt a small tap on his shoulder. He froze, glancing over his shoulder to see a pair of big grey eyes looking up at him from underneath deep cyan hued bangs.
“Excuse me? Are you lost?” The girl’s voice was gentle and soft, so soft it took Mirio a second to hear what she had said, “ Um, pardon? Are you lost?” She repeated a second time a bit louder when she realized he couldn’t hear her.
“Oh!” He brightened into a smile, finally pulling the flier away from his face, “I am lost, how’d ya know!?”
The girl, who appeared to be around his age, pointed to his uniform. Mirio’s gaze followed her finger to where it was pointing inches away from his chest.
“We have different uniforms.” She stated politely, but very matter of fact.
He looked back and forth between the two of them, quickly noticing the differences. While his uniform was the standard U.A. green and white, this girls’ was white with a red and blue plaid on her short skirt and tie.
Mirio released a quick laugh, “ Yeah I guess that is an easy tell, isn’t it?” He looked back over to her and held out the flier for her to see, “ I’m here because of this flier. I am looking for room B32a, do you know where that is?”
The girl blinked as the flier was thrusted in her direction. She looked over it briefly before her eyes widened and a huge smile spread across her face.
“That’s me!” She suddenly pressed her hands together in a cheer. Her voice still soft but now filled with excitement, “That’s my flier!”
“Wait, this is your flier!?” Mirio couldn’t help but smile along with the girl’s new infections excitement. It was a complete switch from the quiet demeanor she had displayed just moments ago. Now she was bouncing in place, her short hair bobbing on her shoulders, while she practically glowed from ear to ear.
… It was pretty cute.
“Yes! I’m Ueno Yua!” She quickly grabbed his hand, pulling him into an overly excited handshake.
Mirio laughed, “I’m Toogata Mirio, nice to meet you, Ueno!”
“Oh, thank you so much for coming!” She quickly turned, shifting her grip to pull him towards a nearby room, “B32a is right over here!”
Mirio stumbled behind her as she practically dragged him under the awning pathway that lined all the classroom entrances. It wasn’t until he was underneath that he finally spotted the classroom numbers above the door.
They were there the whole time!?
Jeesh.
“You can’t see the numbers if you aren’t under the pathway.” Yua pointed above the door. She looked back at Mirio to see defeated realization etched across his face.
Her smile instantly sunk with concern, “Ah…I should have wrote it in the flier! Maybe that’s why others haven’t shown up…”
“You mean, you haven’t gotten any other models?” Mirio straightened his posture as she released his hand to pull an ID card out of her skirt pocket.
“You’re the first.” Yua pressed the card to a black reader pad next to the classroom door. With a light click, the door was pulled open and instantly the smells of solvents and paints waft out of the room.
Mirio was instantly consumed with curiosity as he entered. It was nothing like any classroom he had seen before! There was a whimsical chaotic-ness to the room. Wood easels were spewed about with no real organization in mind. Some held canvas’, some did not, but all of them were spattered in an array of paint stains which gave each easel its own unique character.
Behind the forest of easels, on the far back wall, was a large metal trough sink. The counter space surrounding it was piled with different sized cups and containers. Mirio grinned as he continued to take in the room. While the classroom was colored in grey and white tones it was the aftermath paint splatters and spills across the floor and even the walls that gave the classroom its warmth and color.
While Mirio explored the room further, Yua walked over to her easel that was set up near the center of the room and began to prep her station.
“Thank you again by the way,” She spoke out to Mirio. He paused in his current exploration of a large shelved wall that house nearly every color of paint one could imagine. “- for coming to model. You saved me, I would have failed my project.”
He grinned back rubbing a finger under his nose.“Well, that is what heroes do!”
Yua curiously tilted her head as she fiddled with some of the paints on the small table next to her easel, “Oh! You’re a hero?”
“Well, working on it.” Mirio made his way back towards her, “I go to U.A.”
“Really!? Wow, you must be something then!” Yua excitedly squeezed the brushes in her hands tighter, “I get to capture a future Pro- hero in my painting!? It really is my lucky day!”
Her actions caused him to chuckle, she was definitely an easily excited person.
Now Yua’s attention wasn’t even on him anymore. She was looking up towards the ceiling completely encapsulated by her thoughts, whatever they might be.
Mirio had a hunch though.
He could see it, the passion she had about her work. It made him even more pleased that he decided to answer the flier. It wasn’t what one would consider “normal” hero work but he was helping someone in need so it definitely counted in his book! As a bonus, she seemed to be really nice as well.
“Okay.” Yua finally breathed out seeming to gather her thoughts just as Mirio reached the painting station she had created around her easel, “I know exactly what I want now.”
She sat down her brushes before walking towards the center of the room. Yua turned motioning for Mirio to follow her as stepped up onto a raised platform that was draped with a thick red sheet.
“So you will be posed here,” She gestured beside herself, “ - and If you could go ahead and get undress I will adjust the lighting.” Again her eyes drifting to the ceiling in thought while she chewed lightly on her bottom lip, “I was thinking about a kneeling pose.”
Mirio watched as Yua knelt down on the platform resting on her right knee while her left leg stayed up in a bent position.
“Like this!” Yua guided, “Oh I will need to get you a cushion for your knee…” She noted feeling the pressure of her own on the hard surface, “- but then I’ll have you lean over your leg and look to the ground.”
Mirio nodded, studying her examples carefully, “I can definitely do that!”
“Wonderful!” She popped back up to her feet with a smile. Once again she pressed the palms of her hands together happily, “I have a cushion over here we can put under your knee once you cha-”
Yua’s voice froze she turned to see Mirio instantly phase out of his entire school uniform,
“What happened to your clothes!?” She quickly rubbed her eyes with her fists making sure she had just correctly seen a man permeate through clothing.
“Oh that’s just my quirk. Pretty nifty huh??” Mirio stepped away from his clothes with a smile, “So you just want me over here?” He stepped up onto the platform.
Yua stared at him with unwavering eyes as he stepped up next to her. She had figured he was in shape being at U.A. and all but she never imagined him being in that good of shape. His physique completely through her off guard, but in a great way, this was better than anything she could have hoped for!
Mirio could feel her gaze carefully trailing over his form, examining him with what he could only describe as… inquisitive intrigue. Still, when her bottom lip was captured between her teeth as she slipped into another bout of deep thought, he couldn’t help the tint that rose to his cheeks.
She was really too cute to be making a face like that while he stood next to her naked!
“...You really work out huh?” Yua finally released her lip.
Mirio couldn’t help the snort of a laugh that escaped him, “Oh you know, on occasion.” He teased.
His voice seemed to snap Yua out of her daze as she quickly covered her mouth with her hands. A mortified wave of emotion washed over her features upon the realization she had just been staring at him in the most unprofessional way possible.
“Sorry!” She quickly bowed, hoping that she had not made him too uncomfortable…. That was until she realized she was now face to face with his crotch.
Yua’s eyes widened in absolute horror, “Sorry again!!” She squeaked, immediately covering her hands over her eyes and tripping over her feet as she tried to turn away from him.
“It’s okay!! It’s okay!!” Mirio kept repeating. He slapped a hand over his mouth in an attempt to conceal his laughter and not embarrass the poor girl even more, but the series of antics that had just unfolded was too much.
While Yua squatted down into a ball rambling of apologies, Mirio suddenly felt himself begin to sweat as an intense wave of heat hit the room.
“It’s alright Ueno! No worries!!” He tried to reassure her as his laughter finally calmed.
The shroud of heat that suddenly encompassed the classroom was now thickening the air like a sauna.
“Ueno, I’m sorry, but do you feel like it got really hot in here all of the sudden??” Large beads of sweat were now accumulating his skin. This wasn’t in his head, the temperature definitely changed in the room.
As soon as the words left his mouth Yua’s string of apologies halted. She removed her hands from over her eyes, lifting up her palms to take in the new sensation around them.
“… It’s me.” Yua’s voice softened as she returned her hands to cover her face, the red tint on her cheeks deepening.
“Pardon?” Mirio leaned down trying to hear her better. She was talking softly again and he could barely hear her. His hands fanned his face furiously as he waited for her response, it was getting hotter by the second!
“My quirk!” Yua forced her voice to speak up, “It’s … it’s because I’m embarrassed.” She slapped her face a few times with the palms of her hands in an attempt to knock out the embarrassment.
At her words, a light suddenly clicked on in Mirio’s head, everything made complete sense now!
“You don’t need to be embarrassed Ueno!” He quickly jumped into a crouch in front of her, “I’m the one that's naked, I should be embarrassed!”
“No, no.” She shook her head and began to pinch her own cheeks, “ You’re the model, I’m supposed to make you feel comfortable, but I just bowed my head into your crotch!”
There was a warm haze to everything in the room now. The temperature was getting close to unbearable. It quickly became obvious to Mirio that Yua did not have very good control of her quirk…. If any at all.
“You’re not the first person to get up close and personal with my willy, I’m used to it!” He tried to brush off her concern, until he saw her eyes widen through her fingers, “ Wait… that didn’t come out right.”
A sudden spike in heat forced Mirio to cringe. He could barely breathe at this point, it felt as though he was about to burn alive, but he couldn’t just run out and leave her alone. He had to think of a way to help her. He was a hero, he could do this!
“So get this,” Mirio forced up a smile, steam was now beginning to swirl around them. He had to work quickly, “I tell dad jokes, but I don't have any kids…. Guess that makes me a faux pa.”
Yua peaked up at him through her fingers to see the huge grin he was holding even though his face was turning beet red from the heat.
“So when does a joke become a dad joke?” Mirio paused for a beat, “….When it becomes apparent!”
Yua couldn’t contain the smile that broke through the cover of her hands as he continued.
It was working! Mirio could feel the heaviness of heat in the room begin to dissipate along with the swirls of steam. Now he just had to land the big finisher!
“Did you know… your Japanese when you go into the bathroom, and you’re Japanese when you come out of the bathroom, but do you know what you are while you’re in there?” He raised a brow in Yua’s direction with a pause making sure he had her full attention, “European!”
At his last word, Yua’s laughter broke into the room instantly causing the wave of intense heat to dissipate.
Mirio couldn’t contain the deep sigh he released at the sudden temperature change. He felt like he could breathe again! His chest rose and fell with each breath as he began to cool down. Sweat was dripping down his face but he couldn’t help but genuinely smile as he watched Yua laugh.
It was a deep laugh, a hearty laugh… a nice laugh.
“Those... were horrible.” Yua’s laughter slowed into a chuckle before she flashed Mirio a grateful smile.
“Hey now!” He tried to wipe the sweat that was still dripping into his eyes away with his forearm, “You laughed. You thought they were funny!”
“They were funny and horrible.” She locked her eyes with his, “Thank you, Toogata.”
“Any time!” Mirio straightened his posture, “Though I’m sorry, I’m so sweaty now.” He looked down at himself, he was literally drenched in a sheen of sweat.
“No, no,” Yua looked over his form with him, “This is actually perfect, don’t wipe any off! It’s defining your physique, and with the right lighting you’ll be even better to paint now!” An excited glow was back on her features.
Mirio smiled as he watched her quickly rush about - grabbing a pillow, adjusting the standing lights around the platform, and situating the red sheet across the pedestal to her liking. She was back to being passionate and focused as though they both weren’t just nearly baked alive.
He could tell though, this probably wasn’t the first time an incident like this occurred. Though her overall disposition was bright there was a lingering sullenness in her eyes he just couldn’t shake concern for.
Once Mirio was in the position Yua wanted, she quickly skipped over to her easel and got right into laying paint down onto the canvas.
“So if you don’t mind me asking, what is your quirk? Cus honestly that was pretty crazy!” He tried to speak as upbeat as possible, he was so curious but hated to trigger another occurrence.
“Oh….” Yua responded, slowing in her painting a bit as she thought through how to answer his question.
“- And I mean crazy in a good way!” Mirio quickly added, turning his head towards her so she could see his smile.
“It’s weather.” Yua spoke up after finishing a few strokes on the canvas, “It’s triggered by my emotions, so… I have a hard time controlling it….”
“That’s pretty sweet though!” Mirio chimed in making sure she wouldn’t have a chance to feel negative. He could tell from the way her voice was softening it wasn’t something she was necessarily comfortable talking about, “ So you could make it rain, or snow, or anything like that?”
Yua couldn’t help the smile that pulled at her lips from the enthusiasm of Mirio’s questions. She found the positivity over her quirk pretty refreshing.
“I can.” She answered, splitting her attention between him and the canvas in front of her.
“So which emotion would make it snow?” Mirio thoughtfully inquired, “That would be awesome for on a hot summer day!”
Yua paused from her painting to study Mirio for a moment, she had never thought about her quirk in such a way before,
“… I don’t know,” She went back to her work, shading in the contours of his back, “It’s often rather random, …many times I don’t even realize it's me right away… Honestly, I try to avoid triggering it.”
“All quirks take practice, gosh I still lose my clothes on a regular basis!” Mirio poked fun at himself, trying to lift her own spirits.
He didn’t know Yua at all, but the thought of her feeling such turmoil with her quirk made he himself feel downhearted. There were still red marks on her cheeks from where she had been pinching herself earlier, trying to get her quirk to stop. She was really struggling, perhaps even more than he initially realized in the moment.
“I can only imagine.” She giggled, “Doesn’t it get frustrating though?”
“Well yeah, of course!” Mirio glanced over his leg to watch her paint for a moment, “But it also makes people laugh, so I think that’s a pretty great trade-off.”
He watched Yua captured her bottom lip in her teeth, she was thinking again, contemplating something important.
“You really like to make others laugh, don’t you Toogata?” She finally released her lip, turning to dip her brush into a jar of gamsol before dipping it into a new color of paint.
“Absolutely! I mean you never know whose around that might need a pick-me-up. Laughter can really change a lot for people, also… it’s just fun don’t yah think?” He flashed her a bright grin.
“Yeah… ” Yua made eye contact with him for a moment before turning back to her work, “It is…. so where would you like to eat after we are done?” She completed a few more strokes before picking up some more paint on the tip of her brush, “I definitely owe you a good dinner after this session.”
“Oh yeah!” Mirio nearly forgot, “My payment!”
“Have you been to Kaiyo Joō?” Yua smiled, focusing on her work, but keeping her attention on Mirio.
“Oh that’s good! I won’t get sushi there though.” Mirio responded.
“Really why?” Yua tilted her head in question.
“It’s a little fishy.”
Yua nearly knocked over her canvas at his comment as she snorted out a laugh.
Mirio couldn’t help but laugh along with her, and he was sure for a second he felt a crisp breeze swirl throughout the room.
... She really did have a nice laugh.

i completely forgot to introduce her to y’all-
also i just noticed i messed up the order of her name smh
her first name is Kokoro and her last name is Seijun lmao
here are a few fun facts:
- her soul can leave her body in 2 methods - either the mortal plane or the astral plane. Mortal plane is quite basic, her soul leaves her body and can roam around without being seen. The astral plane is where time slows down for her and she can see and speak to other wandering souls. However she can only access this plane once every 24h.
- only animals, babies and those thinking about death can see her soul
- she doesn’t like hospitals. They reek of death and sorrow.
- she’s been in and out of the hospital during her childhood due to her soul slipping out of her body without her controlling it. It was scary for her parents since there were days where she wouldn’t wake up and her soul would struggle to get back to her body.
- she does get frequent nightmares due to seeing the dead in the astral plane and the horrible stories they would tell her of how they died.
- she’s been playing piano since she was 5 years old. She can play the Hungarian Rhapsody and other complex pieces.
- her and Mirio started dating after he came back from the Overhaul mission.
- Mirio calls her “Koko-chan”
- she loves retro things from the 60s all the way to the 90s
- she often plays piano to release her stress and forget her nightmares
- she actually knew Mirio and Tamaki in middle school but they never really talked aside from the occasional hi.

Word Count: 2,881 words
Summary: Tamaki and Ichijiku have been friends since elementary school, so it’s become a habitual occurrence for her to seek shelter at his house when her parents get overwhelming. In the morning, Tamaki and Mirio both walk with her to school and attempt to brighten her spirits.
Author's Note: I've noticed you all seem to enjoy minor characters a lot, so I'll try and focus on adding more as I continue writing one-shots. It's certainly a fun challenge to get to know characters who don't get a lot of screen time! I hope you enjoy!

Ichijiku (Tigress)
Mirio, are you awake? I text my boyfriend despite knowing he’s asleep. Between the two of us, he goes to bed the earliest.
Still, for an hour and a half, I wait for a reply. When it’s obvious that I won’t be receiving a response, I stare at the ceiling as my brain tunes back into reality. The yelling down the hall amplifies and my heart races as I wait with baited breath for Mom to walk through the door. Please don’t yell at me. I don’t know what I did and if that’s why you and Dad fight but please stop screaming. When footsteps make their way down the hall, I place my phone down and hug my pillow with my eyes closed. Though internally I panic, I force myself to take deep and even breaths.
I hear the door squeak open and the heavy, angry breaths of my mother. Only the thumping in my chest is audible, and I dare not move until I hear the familiar click of my door. Even then, I pause for another two minutes until I’m sure she doesn’t stand in wait to catch me being disobedient.
When I open my eyes and she’s not there, I slip out of bed and crawl over to my window. I pull the blinds and look next door into Tamaki’s room. His dark blue eyes meet mine as he lays in his bed. I scrounge around behind my desk to find my notebook. I flip through a few of the pages until I land on the one I want, holding up the page to the glass: Can I come over?
I watch him rifle through his own notebook before holding up his response.
Yes.
I tuck my notebook away and look at my door for a minute or two. She might come back. My ears tune in to every sound as I grab my jacket and stuff a deck of cards in the pocket. There’s no footsteps down the hall and the muffled sound of the TV can be heard down the hall, a signal my dad’s in bed and my mom’s still in the living room. So, I throw on my jacket and crack open my window, slow and steady.
After sneaking out and shutting it behind me, I glide across the lawn over to Tamaki’s house and through the opening he’s left me. He takes my hand and helps me into the much warmer house. I click the window lock as I get comfy on his bed.
“Hi.” I whisper.
“Hi.”
Several minutes pass and neither of us say a word. My fingers pet the dark plum comforter underneath me, focusing my attention on the soft texture while the sound of yelling echoes in my mind. Tears trek down my cheeks while I try and think of what to say, not that it’s anything Tamaki doesn’t know. We’ve known each other since middle school. It’s unlikely that there’s anything I can tell him or Mirio that neither of them would know. They're probably sick and tired of you telling them the same stupid shit all the time.
“Are you…okay?” My best friend’s gentle voice breaks the silence.
“It’s nothing new, I’m fine.” I sniffle, wiping my face and shoving my emotions away, all the way down to soles of my feet. “I just didn’t want to be alone.”
“Are you staying for the evening?” He asks. “Mother knows your situation; you know she doesn’t mind if you stay for the night.”
“I know. I don’t know if I’m staying, yet. Mom has started checking my room in the middle of the night.” I explain, raking my fingers through my hair as I look up at him with red eyes and swollen cheeks. “The fights have been getting more frequent and the drinking is worse.”
“Does Mirio know?” He asks.
“I texted him, but you know he goes to bed early. He’s already asleep, or I wouldn’t have bothered you. I’m sorry, Maki-kun.” I sigh and place my face in my hands. “I just don’t like being there at night; I feel so alone and afraid. But then I feel guilty because shouldn’t I want to be with my family? I sneak out just like she accuses me. I don’t sleep around and I don’t get into drugs like she accuses, but I’m still sneaking out. If I didn’t do that, would it make her and Dad fight less?”
“I-I wasn’t trying to imply…that you were bothering me. I only…wanted to make sure Mirio was aware…of the situation.” Tamaki trembles a bit as he explains and starts wringing his hands, eyeing his wall. “H-He’s…a lot better with encouragement. B-But…I’m sure that the situation between your parents is not your fault.”
“Then why does it feel like it?” I choke out, shoving my palms into my eyes so I won’t cry anymore. It feels like all I’ve done for the majority of my teenage life is cry. Weak. Pathetic. “Why does it feel like everything I do is the reason they won’t stop fighting? Mom won’t stop drinking. Dad’s barely home trying to provide for us. I don’t know what to do to make it stop.”
When the warmth of Tamaki’s arm wraps around me, sheltering me in safety, I break. The dam bursts and I cling to him as shaky sobs rattle through his room. Thoughts surface from the first time he and I went to middle school, his body shaking as he tried to speak up at the front of the classroom. I remember being so quiet and afraid that I hadn’t been able to reassure him, my childhood best friend. Seeing Mirio do it so easily later that afternoon had humbled me, and it wasn’t until lunch time when the two boys were sitting alone that I’d decided to be brave and join Tamaki and the blonde-haired stranger.
Since I could remember, Tamaki had always been my best friend, my ride or die. Having someone new that didn’t automatically write me off as a stuck up prick was a breath of fresh air. Mom had flagrantly accused me of being a slut the moment I’d come home raving about Mirio.
This comforter has caught more of my tears than my own. I think with an ache in my chest. Gentle, familiar hands rub up and down my shoulders as I wonder where I went wrong. Was it when I first became friends with Tamaki? With Mirio? When I got my first F on an assignment? The first time I called my mom out for cheating on Dad?
“What’s wrong with me?” I whimper.
“What do you mean?”
“They wouldn’t fight if I was gone.” I cough. “If I went away their lives would be better.”
“That’s not true!” Tamaki gasps and pulls back so he can look at me. “Life is so much brighter with you. You’re like Mirio. Everything around you…everyone you interact with…your very presence makes everyone happier.”
“It doesn’t feel like it.” I say. “I feel like I bring gloom and despair wherever I go.”
“That seems more like something I would say, don’t you think?” Tamaki teases, nudging me a bit and giving me a shaky smile. “I-I…understand better than anyone…about feeling less than adequate.”
“You’re so amazing, though! And you’re my bestie, so you know I’m honest when I say you’re the best. You’ve trained and worked so hard to be where you’re at. You’ve made great strides. And I…” I go back to playing with his comforter as he continues to let me lean into his side. “All I’ve done is–”
“You’ve trained hard too.” Tamaki never interrupts, so I make sure to heed what he says. “You were so scared to choose the hero track. We both were. But you were the one who encouraged me from the beginning to take a step into the hero world when I didn’t believe I could. You and Mirio pushed me forward toward that bright future. It never would have started so early if it wasn’t for you.”
Listening to him helps quiet my mind and focus on the more positive side of life, even as the bad voices still lurk on the outskirts of my mind. I pull back and sit up, yawning and realizing just how tired I am as my body calms down.
“...is the offer to stay still available?”
“You know my mother would never turn you down. I’ll pull out the extra futon.”
. . . . .
The guest futon feels comfortable and safe. No yelling invades my dreams to feed my nightmares. My alarm goes off about thirty minutes before I need to wake up, and when I blink my eyes open I find Takara nestled against my chest.
I grunt and thread my fingers through her hair.
“Taka-chan?” I coo, my worries instantly fading at the sight of the little girl. It takes her a moment to fully wake up, but then her pretty blue eyes blink up at me. “What are you doing here?”
“Bad jeem.” She babbles, tucking her head back into me and going to sleep again.
“Aww,” I purr, petting her hair for a few more minutes until anxiety clutches at my throat. If Mom wakes up and sees I’m gone… “Come on, Rara. I have to go back to my house.”
“No go!” She whines, holding tighter. “Iku stay?”
“I can’t stay, honey.” I frown. “I have to go to school in a little bit with your brother. And right now I have to go home so my mom doesn’t get mad at me.”
“No!”
Her determination to keep me here endears me to her all the more, but I give a heavy yawn with my quirk and she’s out for the count. I shift carefully and leave her bundled up in blankets on the futon. I notice Tamaki still sleeps on, so I grab his notebook and write a note for him.
Went home. Will walk with you to school as usual, though.
I get ready for school and walk with Tamaki to Mirio’s with minimal criticism from my mother before I go. To be fair, she’s too hungover to do much aside from nurse her headache with an icepack.
The second Mirio walks up to me and Tamaki, I tackle him in a hug. I squeeze him with all my limbs and exhale all of my sad. He has a way of soaking up all of my hurts, his affection a healing balm to cure my wounds.
“Good morning, Sunbeam.” He breathes in my ear. “From the looks of your texts, it seems like you had a rough night…and not in the good way.” He winks at me, before pecking my lips. “Do you want to talk about it?”
“It’s just the same old, same old. My mom’s just been drinking more and it’s made it hard to sleep at night. I stayed at Maki-kun’s last night.” I explain, letting him set me down and taking his hand as we head to UA.
“That’s been happening more frequently. Are you sure there’s nothing we can do?” Mirio tilts his head, never losing his optimistic expression.
“No. It’s our last year at UA. There’s not really a point. Besides…I don’t want to be the reason for her getting in trouble when I’m already the reason she and Dad fight.” I hold his hand tighter, betraying my fear.
“That’s not your fault, Ichan.” He leans over to smother my cheek in kisses until I’m giggling. Only then does he smile again. “My mom once said that sometimes parents with a lot of problems try to pick the one constant in their life to become the scapegoat of all their issues and insecurities. You’re the one thing they can control, so they use it to their advantage.”
“N-Not to mention…they think…you’re oblivious to all the problems…they’ve created.” Tamaki adds on.
“It’s true. They severely underestimate that beautiful brain of yours.” Mirio slinks his arm around my waist.
He makes my back tingle as part of his arm phases through me playfully so he can comfortably rest his hand there.
“Mi-kun!” I shriek out a laugh, squirming as the strange feeling sends tremors down my spine. “I’ve told you that tickles!”
“Have you told me that?” He smirks. “I don’t recall you saying anything of the sort.”
“You totally do! I can see it on your face!”
“That’s subjective evidence.”
“Mirio-AH!” He starts tickling me in the sides with his fingers this time and I bolt down the sidewalk as the school building comes in sight.
“Oh? So we’re doing endurance training now, are we? Come on, Suneater! We can’t lose!”
I hear him getting closer behind me and use his closeness as motivation to add one last burst of speed to make it to the staircase. My foot meets the first step when Mirio’s arm swoops around my waist twirling me around and clutching me against his chest.
“Gotcha! There’s no way you beat Lemillion!” He laughs victoriously as I pant and catch my breath.
For a moment, he just holds me like that and I let him, forcing oxygen in my lungs. His smile flattens into a neutral expression as he presses his ear more intently to my chest. I flush and look around awkwardly until he speaks.
“Your heart is beating so fast right now.” Mirio hums.
“Well, yeah, I kinda just ran the last two blocks to get here.” I snort, heart still pounding in my ears. “I’ll bet your heart is beating pretty fast too.”
“I like it.” Mirio states, finally setting me on my feet and cupping my face in his hands. “The more I’m with you, the more things I find to love!”
I crinkle my nose and find something else to focus on so I don’t automatically turn down the compliment. I reach up and smooth down Mirio’s uniform collar as an excuse to touch him.
“I could say the same about you, Slippery Boi.”
He drops his hands to my waist since we still have time to wait outside and presses his forehead to mine. Poor Tamaki plants his forehead against the outer wall of the school when he recognizes the intimate look on Mirio’s face. He typically tries to give us our space as a couple when we need our affectionate moments.
“I’m glad you have Tamaki next door to help you when I’m not able to.” Mirio whispers, gazing at me with so much love. “I trust him with my life. It makes me feel better to know that he’s close by in case there’s an emergency.”
“Mi-kun, it’s not like that. My family might yell a lot, but they’d never…” I open my mouth to finish that sentence, but find I can’t. Memories of intentional bruises and cuts from my father remain burned in my memory.
“They would.” He says through pursed lips.
“They do the best they can.” I defend.
“They can still do better.”
“I know.” I look away from him.
“ You deserve better.”
Again, I can’t accept something positive about myself, at least not verbally. I’ve been working on it, but verbal agreement still remains a struggle.
“Takara came to me for nightmare comfort last night.” I change the subject.
“Ichi-chan…”
“What do you want me to say, Mirio?” I huff, tears glistening in my eyes. “I know you think I deserve better and I know Tamaki agrees. I know you both would rather I just make an appointment with Hound Dog or bring it to a staff member’s attention, but I can’t. I don’t want…”
“You’re scared for what’ll happen when you get taken away?”
There it is. I move until my face plants against him. Mirio doesn’t allow it. He knows exactly what I need. He tilts my chin up and claims my lips fiercely, tugging my lip. He pulls back and then kisses me again, harder until my mind is blank. As we both stand there breathless, he rubs his thumbs over my cheeks.
“You don’t ever have to be afraid while I’m here.” He promises. “You don’t have to tell Hound Dog about everything, but I think you’d feel better if you at least brought up how stressed you’ve been. Midterms are coming up and you’ve worked too hard to let your parents mess that up for you. And I don’t care if you believe this, but I’m going to say it again.” He puts his forehead to mine again so I have to look into his sparkling eyes. “You deserve better.”
I close my eyes, take a deep breath, and then look up at him again. It could be time for a change, Little One. He speaks the truth. You deserve a better life than constant fear.
“Have I ever told you just how stubborn you are?” I pout.
“If you have, my ears were phased and I must have missed it.” He chuckles, kissing my forehead. “But I’ve definitely been told that my whole life a time or two.”
I roll my eyes but grin. “Don’t ever change, Mi-kun.”
“Sounds like a recipe for dirty clothes.”
That earns him a jab in the ribs just as the bell rings to start the day.

🌞🌻 Togata Kids 🌻🌞
After several months of designed them, I can finally upload my 'fanbabies' Mitsuo and Himari Togata, the children of Mirio Togata (Lemillion), from "My Hero Academia" and my avatar, Majo Pearce (Yōsei) ☀️🧚‍♀️
When I created my ship, I had the idea that they would only have a child but some months ago I had a sleepless night in which Himari showed up in my mind and I had to bring her to life 💭✨
Since her birth, I have made several changes, I had to make several adjustments to their quirks being now two kids, but I think I've done, so here's some information about my kids 🥰💗
🌞 Mitsuo Togata: Mirio and Majo's firstborn. He inherited his father's enthusiasm and energy, as well as a great physical resemblance, except for the color of his hair and eyes. His name refers to 'shine' and the concept of sun related to Mirio. Mitsuo is a funny, enthusiastic, mischievous and full of light boy. He admires his father a lot. He also loves his mother and protects his little sister, Himari. He is 8 years old and wants to be a professional hero like his parents. He inherited Mirio's quirk, "Permeation", being able to become intangible and pass through any matter and objects, including light, sound and air 🌅🕳️
🌻 Himari Togata: The second daughter of Mirio and Majo and younger sister of Mitsuo, who is four years older than her. Unlike her brother, she inherited Majo's large western eyes. She has her mother's hair but a little lighter due to the influence of Mirio, from whom she inherited her eyes color, smile and nose, as well as skin tone and sense of humor. Her name, like her brother's, refers to the sun. She is quite tender and innocent and a bit attached to her mother, although her hero is her father, of whom she has a plushie that she carries everywhere. Her quirk is called "Ground Permeation", it is a combination of her parents' quirks and allows her to make any inanimate object intangible as long as it is composed of rocks or minerals 🦄🪨
And well, that's all for now, without more to say, I hope you like it!! 🪻

"Cuddles at Sunset" | Mirio x Self Insert #Commission [2021]
Tumblr media
Super proud of this surprise commission for one of my #Discord kids - drawing Mirio is actually hella fun and I need to draw him more often! My girl Roso is a super simp for Mirio [cannot blame them], and I was commissioned by another of my Discord kids to draw this for them secretly - their self insert being cuddled with the literal epitome of sunlight. <3
Definitely expect more Mirio in the future!
See more on IG - @ jaylee_draws !

Note
You know that one kiss where people rub the tips of their noses together? I like to think that's Mirio's favorite kind of kiss - next to actual lip to lip smooching. He's got a cute, very boopable nose
Ah yes, boop the snoot, seems like a very Mirio thing to do 😊 I approve!

“The Lemonade” Guy Pt. 1
Tumblr media
When Jade realizes her feelings for a certain schoolmate go beyond a friendship, she makes a tremendous effort to rid herself of it.
Song Inspo(s): Wicked Games - Kiana Lede; I Won’t Say I’m In Love - Hercules
International AU!
Word Count: 4k+
~
There was rarely ever something Jade tried to avoid other than the topic of Manu. The reactions that came upon his death were much too triggering to her anger, and she refused to allow that level of rage to overcome her again; thankfully this was not the case. Now while that was a relief, the actual issue being avoided proved to be almost as troubling, and the foreign girl did not realize the matter until recently.
UA High was bustling with noise and movement, people curious about the UA students from different parts of the world. Jade was blessed to have been shown secret entrances and passageways by Ren as to avoid news reporters. While it wasn’t anything she wasn’t unfamiliar with, the second year student knew uncomfortable and personal questions would turn up if given the chance, so she decided staying in the shadows would be safe for now. Stepping onto school grounds, Jade found Maeda, Kubo and Ren chatting with two students she could not recognize. One was a girl with long cyan hair and a bright expression, and the other a boy with his head turned away from the trio. Hm...maybe they're new kids? It was difficult to tell whether or not they were around the same age as her, but Jade concluded they were older looking at their height. The girl craned her neck to look over her shoulder then gasped loudly.
"Ohmygoshohmygoshohmygoshisthisher?!" She sped towards the international student and stretched a hand outward, grinning widely. "Nejire Hado, third year here at the original UA! You must be Jade, I was just asking your friends about you, and I heard you were from Los Angeles! Tell me what it's like! Is the food really good? What about the school? Is it different from the UA here? Ooh, what about your father? Is it true about him being a Pro Hero? What's his quirk? Is it like yours? Wha--"
"Easy Hado, she just got here," Ren intervened with a light chuckle. "Well, she already introduced herself, so that leaves the guy hiding behind her, Tamaki Amajiki, also a third year student. He's a bit shy as you can see." Jade leaned on her side to find the indigo haired male from earlier, head hung low and arms crossed tightly. She gave a small smile when he peeked up from the locks curtaining his face, pleased when he gave a single nod.
"It's nice to meet you both," chirped the foreign girl with a bow to which Hado squealed.
"And she's respectful! Ah, such an intriguing new person to meet--oh! I have to introduce you to Mirio, you'll love him, most girls do. Now where is he--" She scampered away with Tamaki in tow, slipping into the sea of students and staff members. Jade watched on with a scowl on her face. Most girls do? What is she trynna say, that I'm gonna be part of some bandwagon? She felt a hand on her shoulder pulling her out of her thoughts.
"She didn't mean it like that," came Ren's voice again. "Hado has a very blunt and unconventional way of speech, don’t mind her."
"It's something she can work on considering she wants to pursue becoming a Pro Hero," Maeda interjected, her tone flat but firm. Jade hummed in agreement and looked amongst the other pupils. Upon seeing the many faces, her eyes became fixed on one that stood out.
In a large crowd of females stood a tall and bulky male, his smile gleaming and proud. He appeared to be speaking to them, a round of giggles following soon after whatever he’d said. There were a few international students Jade recognized taking pictures with him and handing him slips of paper, presumably with some kind of social contact on it. That must be who the girl was talking about seeing he has an entire--wait a minute! It wasn’t until he looked up that she realized why the male seemed familiar. That’s the guy who I ran into at the entrance! The one who gave me that stupid nickna--
“Gemstone!”
Jade cursed inwardly as he advanced in her direction. She glanced at the entourage behind him, their faces surprised or annoyed, and it didn’t help that some of them were now moving closer too. Her feet were glued in place as the male stood before her, a cheeky grin evident on his face. Blonde hair, blue eyes, nice body...definitely the same guy from the first day.
”Don’t tell me you’ve forgotten my name already,” he chuckled, crossing his arms. Jade noted how the gesture made his already defined muscles tighten. An odd tension arose in her abdomen, but she quickly dismissed it and cleared her throat.
”Togata if I remember correctly.” The foreign girl bowed, remembering her manners. It was best to keep a respectful image considering the person before her was not only older, but one of the most skilled students attending the original UA. “It's good to s—“
”Togata, I need some help getting to my classes," a voice suddenly cut in. It came as a realization to Jade that a majority of the girls from earlier were now surrounding them. The person who had spoken was an international student herself, but she didn't look too pleased that all the attention was on someone else. Her hand crawled up Togata's arm in a suggestive manner before resting at his shoulder. "I'm not too familiar with UA Japan's complex," she continued, "so it would help a lot."
"Ooh wait, I think I need help too!" someone else from the crowd piped.
"I do as well!"
"Me too!"
Soon numerous hands were tugging at the tall male with pleads and demands of showing them around the school. Jade watched as Togata weakly smiled and tried to talk amongst the bunch with reason; it proved useless as they continued to grab at him from every direction. An unusual feeling rushed to her torso again, but something felt much different from earlier. In place was a strong stinging sensation, not enough to hurt but enough to generate irritation. What in the hell--
"Something wrong, Lofota?" Maeda's voice snapped Jade back into reality. Ren and Kubo were before her, curiosity etched on their features. From her peripheral line of vision she could see the bulky third year being dragged away with a familiar cyan and indigo haired duo following close behind.
"We saw Togata and his groupies approach you, but you looked as if you were ready to jump at one of them," Kubo remarked. "I personally don't mind, just give me a heads up next time so I can record it for memories." Maeda rolled her eyes at this.
Jade chuckled and shook her head. "It wasn't anything like that, guys, I think my mind was just occupied with something else. Let's try and get to class before news reporters start breaking through the gates." She walked alongside the trio and listened to them explain UA Japan's school system and the events that were set throughout the year. Despite her nonchalant attitude, the sting remained in Jade's stomach; she figured it would go away after some medication and rest.
~
It took a little over a month for the second year to realize that the peculiar feelings in her system were not an overnight situation. Jade took matters into her own hands and recorded when her stomach fell into any eccentric sensation, noting what, when and how much she ate and any possible patterns. When food appeared to be free of guilt, she tried looking at her sleep patterns and clothing for clues but was met with the same result. Her concern had caught Ren's attention when the medic pupil found her seated on a hospital bed speaking to Recovery Girl.
"Hon, I've ran multiple scans and checkups and found nothing," sighed the elder. "Your health is in great shape and according to your own data, it seems like you're doing just fine. Maybe try laying down, it seems this issue with your tummy is stressing you out." Jade complied wordlessly, but Ren could see that she was still in heavy thought. When Recovery Girl exited the office, she took a seat beside the bed and peered up. "Thinkin' real hard over there, aren't you?"
Jade turned on her side with a groan. "I just wanna figure out what the hell is wrong with me, it's starting to piss me off."
"What've you been doing?"
"School, hero training, eating, sleeping, the usual."
"Any foods you can think of that caused that pain?"
"No, but that's the weird part!" The foreign student sat up and pulled a leg to her chest. "This feeling I keep getting, it doesn't hurt. It just--it doesn't...I never had this before, but I'm not sure if that means I'm doing something wrong that's causing my body to react the way it does."
Ren arched her brows in search of an answer. "Can you maybe describe this 'feeling' by comparing it to something? Or perhaps using a metaphor? Just so I can understand this better."
"It...well, there's usually two kinds of reactions. At one point, my abdomen feels light but constricted, like it can't take anything in because everything is squeezed out. When that happens, I also feel my heart rate pick up, and my body feels overheated." The medic nodded and gestured to continue. "The second feeling is more like a stinging one, or like a burn--yeah, burning would be a more accurate comparison. When my stomach gets like that, I get really annoyed, but there's only so much I can do when the problem is internal. I tend to get more of the first reaction than I do the second, if that helps."
It was an interesting explanation given, and Ren understood why Recovery Girl struggled a bit providing help. She was quiet for a long time, but just as her friend was about to speak, she asked another question: "Does this ever happen around a specific time? Specific person? Maybe a certain group of people or things?"
Jade blinked before lying down again, her attention focused on the ceiling. Is there somebody or something always near me when this happens? She reeled through all the faces and names she'd ever interacted with, staff members, students, strangers, but no exact nouns came to mind that she could recall triggering this reaction. The foreign student shook her head.
"Huh, well...what's the earliest you recall first feeling these sensations?"
"I think the earliest I felt it was when I was talking to Togata and--" Almost immediately the rest of Jade's sentence died on her tongue. Ren quickly caught the abrupt end and tried to make understanding of what had just happened. The memory was clear as day in her mind, meeting Hado and Amajiki, Togata walking up to her with immaculate bulging muscles, the crowd of female students hauling him away and the indefinable feelings in her abdomen, it all began to click. However, looking over the details of that time, Jade realized that the sensations ultimately activated when she was around--
"Togata."
She whipped her head in surprise.
"Togata is the cause behind your odd abdominal feelings," Ren smiled, "which tells me this is definitely not a medical issue." She bit back a laugh at the disbelief on Jade's face. It seemed she understood what was being implied as she began shaking her head feverently.
"No no no and no, you better not say what I think you're about to say, Ishikawa."
"Aw, c'mon now Jade, you can't be upset at me! I was just trying to help you understand the cause of your stomach issues, looks like it was just butterflies the whole time."
The foreign student grimaced. "Ren, please don't."
"But it's actually cute! I personally think that you both--"
"REN I GET IT, STOP."
Jade sat in irritation until her friend ceased laughing, then hopped off the bed and brushed off her uniform. The medic pupil stood up immediately and pulled her into a hug, chuckling lightly. "Well, now that we found the root of the issue, what are you gonna do? Am I helping you plan a confession?"
"I'm gonna get rid of it.” Ren's snickering stopped. Jade's face and tone was enough to say she wasn't kidding.
"Heh, I uh...I don't think I heard you correctly?"
"Get rid of it. I'll just distance myself from Togata so that my mind can adjust it's thoughts towards him." She hurried after her friend down the hallway. Students buzzed around them, lively chatter and activity surrounding the pair.
"Wait a minute Jade, I'm not understanding how this is being helpful."
"Ren, the more time I am not near him or able to visibly see him, I'm more than a hundred percent sure that whatever these annoying feelings are will dissipate. When that happens, I can go back to being in the guy's presence without any weird aura surrounding me, but until then, I'm following a strict 'No Togata' routine."
The medic student scoffed in amusement. "Routine? Jade, that's the most ridiculous thing I've heard a UA student say. I say just let it happen and see where it goes from there. Who knows, maybe he possibly could return--"
"Ah--" Jade stopped and held a hand up. "I'm gonna stop you there for two reasons. One, the sole reason anyone should attend this school is to pursue some kind of a career, and this applies especially to me. I was sent here as a representative because UA Los Angeles trusts me to execute and display my skills as a potential Pro Hero, not to go messin' around with Japan's kids, let alone the top students. I have an entire city depending on me, Ren, I can't mess this up." She sighed and took in another breath. "Two, if anything, I am far from his type."
"His type? How can you even know that if you only ever said hi to the guy like, three times?"
"Context clues. If it isn't directly in front of you, look at everything around to find your answer."
Ren deadpanned. "And what exactly did you look at to find your answer?"
"Upbeat, lively girls," Jade replied as if it should've been an obvious answer. The pair entered the cafeteria which was more cramped than usual. Staff members were present, most likely by Nezu's word to have travelling students feel more welcomed. All Might stood among the teachers with a countless number of admirers already circled around him, all different years, sizes and appearances. A certain green haired boy appeared to be of his utmost interest as he practically shouted in the student's face. Ren chuckled at the sight, but she noticed her friend's attention was focused elsewhere.
Her gaze was closed in on a table swallowed by a swarm of students. Some were people from earlier that were practically throwing themselves at Togata, and it seemed no different as he sat at the center of the table enjoying his lunch. Hado was seated across from him, her expression as bright as ever, and beside them was a shaking Amajiki, his head rested against the structure’s surface. His nervous movements ceased, however, and Ren smiled seeing the cyan haired girl had slipped her hand into his, returning to her conversation with ease. Jade also noticed the subtle gesture, but she wouldn't help feeling a pang of annoyance at the audience surrounding the blonde boy. She didn't realize she was watching so intensely until his eyes crossed the room to meet hers. Crap! Immediately Jade looked away, unsure if she was more embarrassed about getting caught or feeling irked over a guy. You're here to represent your school, show your worth of an upcoming Pro Hero. Stop getting distracted! Distance! "Ren, let's get some lunch. I'm sure Tokoyami and the others are awaiting your presence."
"Our presence." Jade smiled as they strode across the cafeteria. The medic always made sure she felt included no matter what the situation was; it eased her thoughts greatly, which was something she needed.
~
Another month passed and Jade had almost become like a second Maeda, so intently focused during school hours and hero training. Even on off days, the international student went about her own activities, only ever seen for meals or rest. Her bond remained close with Ren, Maeda and Kubo in various ways, however, and she was present whenever a hangout commenced, so it seemed like everything was completely fine. Ren's teasing had become more discreet (much to Jade's relief) and she created a codename for the blonde third year.
"'The lemonade'?" Jade cringed. The two met up for a walk through town one day, and it seemed safe enough to discuss the matter since they weren't near school grounds.
"I think it's pretty subtle, and keeping the word 'the' in the codename would have people assuming we're actually talking about a beverage. Plus," the medic eyed her friend, "the guy is a tall glass of lemonade if I do say so myself, heh."
"Ren don't--"
"Lemonade sounds good right about now." She froze. It took everything in the foreign girl to not begin speed walking as soon as she heard the familiar upbeat voice behind her. From the look on her friend's face, Jade's assumption of Togata's presence was true. Unfortunately true. She slowly turned around, a faux smile in place until her eyes fell upon something hiding behind the male.
It was a little girl, she could tell that much, with long snowy locks spilling from behind Togata's calf. The child peeked up from her spot, red irises meeting Jade's indigo ones. The foreign girl was locked in place as she suddenly recalled her family. She thought of her parents' cooking and singing, her brothers' livelihood for sports, but she was especially reminded of her sister. Youngest and the only other girl in the line of siblings, they did a lot together. From shopping together to painting to singing to sightseeing, Jade realized how much she'd missed them. The exchange of words between Ren and Togata were a muffed noise as she crouched down, entrapped by the little stranger.
"I'm Jade, it's nice to meet you." The words slipped out like butter, and thankfully it didn't seem to frighten or discomfort the child. She looked up to the male for approval, then stepped forward and let his hand go.
"My name is Eri, it's nice to meet you too," she squeaked with a bow. Jade was awestruck by her politeness and shifted onto her knees to bow in return. When they both straightened up, Eri bore a wide smile and returned to Togata's side.
"Gosh, Gemstone, thought you were ignoring me for a sec." Reality hit the foreign girl immediately when she met the blonde's gaze, and her stomach felt tight again. Damn it, not now! Calm down, breathe, breathe, don't overreact. She stumbled getting back on her feet and managed a sheepish expression.
"Oh, I'm sorry!" she apologized more aggressively than she meant to. "I was just so surprised seeing you with a kid, and she just--"
"Oh? Do you think I'm not good with kids?" He raised a brow.
Crap, why does he have to look cute doing that. "I never said that," Jade rolled her eyes. "I was just surprised seeing you outside of your whole entourage, that's all." She cursed at her choice of words. Now I just sound like I'm hating on him.
"My entourage? Sounds like someone's a bit jealous."
"Ha! Boy, ain't nothin' to be jealous of." The second year held her ground as the bulky male challenged her with a smirk. Ren cleared her throat, acknowledging her presence and causing Jade to force herself back. She didn't realize how close she'd gotten to him during their small banter, but it was definitely closer than what she was comfortable with. "Ren, uh, I believe you were talking about something, yes?"
The medic peered over in amusement. "Yeah, I was talking about lemonade, which since you're here Togata with little Eri, I believe we can all get some together." Damn you, Ren!
Eri gasped before tugging on the male's sleeve. "Can we please, Mirio?"  The sight made Jade's heart swell, and she couldn't be upset if it was an adorable child asking to accompany them. He beamed down at her and nodded his head.
"Ladies, you may lead the way." During the walk to a mini cafe Ren knew of (thanks to Tokoyami), Jade observed how attentive and caring Togata was with Eri, playing games or cracking jokes that made her laugh. Citizens passing commented on their closeness in adoration, many praising the third year for looking after the child with such passion. Even when there were those who tried to flirt with him, the boy paid them no mind and brushed off their efforts. Jade didn't know him too well, but she knew it would be difficult to want to be away from the guy, especially after seeing this side of him, away from the crowds, away from the hero limelight. Togata truly was someone to admire. A familiar tightness returned to her torso, but for now, she was okay with it.
She was pleased being able spend time with Eri herself, learning more about her likes and hobbies. A lot of what the young girl enjoyed Jade discovered was also liked by her sister. "What's her name?" the child asked, munching on a pastry. The horn atop her head glimmered in the sun while she finished up coloring a drawing.
"Her name is Carolei," the international student smiled, "but my family and I just call her Lei."
Eri dropped her coloring utensil on the table and leaned forward. "Can I call her Lei, too?" Jade looked around as though someone was listening to their conversation, then nodded with a wink, much to the child’s delight. They giggled and chatted, forgetting about time and enjoying getting to know one another. The second year felt as though she wasn't in Japan, but back in America with the people she'd cared about and loved; it felt good to bathe in the comfort and reminisce of home. Someone had gripped the back of Jade’s chair; she turned assuming it was Ren until she was face to face with a broad chest and the strong aroma of musk. Her heartbeat boomed in her head and she slowly turned back to Eri, allowing her nerves to calm. Ren bit back a laugh, but a tug on Jade’s hand distracted her from making a slick comment.
"Jade," said Eri in a small voice, "I have to leave now, but...do you think we can hang out another time?"
A sudden idea popped into the second year's mind at the young girl’s request. With a kind smile, she squeezed Eri's hand reassuringly. "We'll have plenty more days to hang out, hon, just me and you."
"Ouch, and what about me, Gemstone?" Togata whined, a hand on his chest in offense.
"Ah, I'd rather not be attacked by your fangirls. Besides, you have Amajiki and Hado to hang out with, and I know you see Eri almost every day." Both parties waved goodbye before continuing on their own paths. Ren and Jade were in a comfortable silence until the medic let out a sigh.
"You literally just missed your opportunity."
"Girl, what? If anything, I'd say I just opened the door for an opportunity."
"Opportunity for what? You literally shut the guy down."
"With good reason," the foreign student argued. She wasn't rude in her response to the older boy, and it was honest! The last thing Jade needed was rumors tainting her name simply for the fact that she hung out with one of the big three alone, especially if they were of the opposite sex. "Anyways, back to the opportunity I was talking about. I think Eri can help me out with this."

Fluffy Mirio Togata
I’m finally all caught up with My Hero and I just really wanted to write and post something! So here are some fluffy Mirio Togata scenarios! I love him so much!
Mirio Togata x Reader
Notes:
Your Quirk: Give people good dreams. Blows a powder/dust that transports people to an ideal world where they are surrounded by people or items that they are fond of. It's creating a false sense of security. The downside is that since it’s a powder, it can also affect her teammates.
You have a sibling; mentioned in the first date section
How/When You Meet:
You two met at UA. You two were in different classes; it was the camping trip for your two hero classes where you two officially met. The teachers teamed people up from the different classes, and he was teamed up with you. Your first experience with him was when he had willingly permeated through the wall and was so proud of himself for getting through it completely. Doing so left him naked in front of you.
You quickly blush and turn away.
He laughs and apologizes quickly, putting his clothes back on. “I’m so sorry I still don’t have full control over my quirk yet,” he has pants on but is topless, “but did you see that?!” He waves his fists up and down very proud of his achievement. “I finally went through the wall!”
You laugh at how cute this boy is. You nod, “I did see that and a lot more.”
He blushes and rubs the back of his head.
You two hang out a lot together that camping weekend, eventually getting to the point that you would be ready with your jacket to throw at him to do a quick cover-up. When you two get back to UA, he offers to take you out to that cafe you like so much for having to put up with him getting naked so often. You laugh and say, “it’s no big deal,” but he insists since you saved him multiple times from showing his willy to everyone, and that was the beginning of your friendship.
Asking You Out:
He knew he liked you but found out he liked you more than a friend at the end of your freshman year during a cumulative final test. It was random partners, and surprise you two were paired together. It was in the aftermath effect of your quirk where he breathed in some of the powder, and everything around him changed, but you were still there. You two were still in your hero gear, and he couldn’t help but walk over to you and wrap his arms around you, holding you in a hug. You had no idea what was going on but realized your quirk had hit him too, so you stuck him with a needle of the “remedy” to snap him out of your quirk’s trance.
“Y/n?” And he falls asleep. You try to hold him up and do your best to lay him down to finish the test.
“Aye. Lemillion.”
He opens his eyes; he’s in the infirmary with the other team and wakes up to you next to him, “Whoa.” He tries to steady himself up, “What happened?”
“I think you breathed in some of the dust from my quirk, so I gave you a quick cure.” You showed him the epi-pen like mechanism. “I had someone from the support course help me out with it for a quick cure in case my teammates were affected.”
“Wow, your quirk sure is amazing. I felt like I was in a new world. Sorry I was out for the rest of the test.”
“Don’t worry about it.” You reassure him with a smile. “We technically both passed, since the other team was wiped out from my quirk.”
“And you call my quirk great. You did great out there.”
“Thanks, kid.” And you pat his head.
When you ruffled his hair, he remembers the feelings he had for you while your quirk was activated. What it was like being in that state and how much he just wanted to tell you that you were there and that he likes you, but instead, he asks you to go out on a date the next day after school.
“Hey y/n, do you want to go out with me?”
You’re not dense. You knew from his demeanor that he was obviously asking you out on a REAL date, from his pink cheeks and avoiding eye contact with you, and although he was confident, you could tell he had a backup ready to get out of an awkward situation. You just had to be sure.
“Like…” you pause, “We get dressed up. Go out on a date-date different from what we normally do? And open the door to maybe start…..” why did your mouth get dry? “dating?” you managed to finish.
He chuckles, different for Mirio. You could tell he was a bit out of his comfort zone, “Yeah. I’d like to take you on that sort of date, and if it’s terrible, would you give me a second chance?”
You laugh, “we haven’t even tried the first date.”
“So, it’s a yes?”
“Sure. I’d like that.”
You can see him jump with excitement without even moving. You can read Mirio’s emotions like an open book because you know him so well.
“I want to do this right!” he exclaims, “I’ll pick you up at your place and meet your parents and tell them when I’ll have you home, and it’ll be so much fun.”
“Mirio, my parents already know you, and they love you.”
“But they don’t know that this is going to be an actual date.”
“I suppose.” You laugh at the overly excited Mirio.
“So! I’ll pick you up at 6pm.”
“I’ll be ready.”
First Date:
The first date went too perfectly. It was too good to be true and too perfect for words. Thinking back on it, it felt too surreal to have actually happened. Mirio was a literal prince and was perfect through and through. He gave you his jacket to keep you warm. He opened all the doors for you. You two called each other adorable pet names, which was really no different from what you’d call each other on a day-to-day basis, but tonight felt different and weird, but a good weird. You hated that he was literally the most perfect human being and was going to be just as an amazing boyfriend as he is your best friend.
Outside of your house, you two sat on the front steps.
“So, how’d that go?”
“Well….” You begin an elaborate scheme, “It was…okay.” You shrug.
“Really?!” Mirio looked heartbroken.
“Yeah…” you sigh, “I don’t even think I want to give it a second try.”
“What happened?” You wanted to laugh. You could really hear this boy’s poor soul being crushed.
“Well, my date was too cute and too precious the entire time that I couldn’t take my eyes off of him!”
He looks over at you with the cheesiest grin.
“He kept doing everything in his power to make sure I had a great night, and I don’t think anything will ever top this.”
He lets out a light chuckle and props his elbow on his knee and leans his chin on his first, “Yeah?”
“Yeah!” you tease, looking at him with a laugh, “With all these things, this was okay because nothing will ever be better than this night.”
Mirio just looks at you like you’re a gift to this world because you definitely were a gift in his life.
“I think my days will always be better with you in my life.”
“Mirio.”
You two begin to lean into each other when you hear the door slam open from behind you two.
“Y/N! WHERE DID YOU PUT MY TOE FUNGUS CREAM! I KNOW YOU HAD IT LAST!”
You turn around and flip your sibling off, and Mirio simply waves at him, “Hi! We’re home right on time like I said!”
“Go away, -sibling name-!”
He laughs, and you throw your shoe in your sibling's direction, they quickly close the door before you can hit them. Mirio laughs as you put your face in your hands. He gets up from the step and helps you up, “Well, y/n, I had fun tonight. Let’s do this again soon.” And he leans in and gives you a soft kiss on the cheek. “I’ll see you tomorrow for our study session!” he laughs. Even though you two went on your first date, you were both friends first and had plans to study for the upcoming exam together.
Needless to say, you two started dating quickly after and the rest is history.

I really don’t know where else to go with these. I just had to share them!
If you take these somewhere and/or flesh these out - tag me! <3
