“[…] I
have kept my birds muted
for so long, I fear they’ve grown
accustom to a grim quietude.”

Happy new year!
«Franken-Ikonta 6x6», Kentmere 400
(This camera had a broken shutter, so I «transplanted» a working lens/shutter assembly from an Adox Golf with holes in the bellows. Two scrap parts became a unique Ikonta 523/16 with 75mm f/4.5 Cassar lens in a simple Pronto shutter.)

Yesterday I mentioned taking a class on Close-up Artistry. I was pleased that I was able to walk away with some new ideas and skills to try. Liz was a wonderful teacher, patient and easy to understand. I think I had only ever used the "Multiple exposure" feature one time on my digital camera. I used it much more on my film cameras, and the planning was much more important then. I accidently double exposed a roll of 35mm film and the result was really cool... unfortunately you will just have to take my work on that... although I could probably recreate some of the images in digital format now. Anyway the meeting area Adams County Art Council is a beautiful building and it was nice and clean and well lit with lots of art on the walls to enjoy. I chatted with a guy in the parking lo after class about the film days and the journey art seems to be taking currently. Also, thanks to lensbaby for the Omni goodies
