astrology notes 3: fixed placements edition

note: these are my personal observations based on the people around me, take what resonate, feel free to add your own observations.

Leo Suns as parents tend to give a freedom to their child and I feel like this is because they want to give the child a space and time to work on their individuality and developing their Sun qualities (self-esteem, vitality and general creativity) Leo understands the importance of a healthy ego and core individuality that will support their child in the future as well as they understand that it's crucial for a child to move from the comfort of the Moon to the creative and boss energies of the Sun.

Leo Moons are forever child at heart even if they are over 50 years old, they strive in these care-free and joyous energies, love to receive and give the attention, and I've noticed this is true even with one of the toughest Sun placements - Capricorn.

Capricorn with Leo Moon is like a soft bear who is very tough on the outside, but is very sweet and affectionate on the inside. also I've noticed that Leo Moons take their hobbies very close to their hearts, same goes to Moon in 5th. when playing with other people, they might get competitive as fuck.

Moon in Scorpio are one of the sweetest people: attentive and caring, very focused if the person is feeling good and comfortable, they can get very anxious to ensure that the person is feeling good to the point it's very cute. I might he highly biased here as my Venus in Scorpio loves LOVES lOvES LoVeS Moons in Scorpio. Moon in Scorpio also respects the privacy of other people as they want their privacy to be respected since they've experience a lot of privacy and boundary violation in childhood.

Tauruses no matter what is the Venus sign are very good at spotting beauty and know best how to make things beautiful, and they in general appreciate the beauty and comfort around them, and they might be very artistic from the very young age, and sometime get clingy, especially in childhood. Taurus vibes to me is: comfort, money, good sleep, food, relaxation, their fashion, skin-care, routine, sex, and again sex, relationships, convenience, consistency, stubbornness, calm confidence, and care.

in general Taurus placements are prone to being very conservative to the point of using very old versions of the OS in their laptop as they know it works best for them, and even if they realise that the new one might be better, but they are still attached to what they are used to. Taurus placements in general they have their own speed of doing things, but Moon in Taurus comes first of being very slow to changes and they need time to prepare for things and occasions to come.

Mothers of Moon in Taurus can be very controlling and dominating but they will give the child the financial prosperity and ensure their child have some stuff in their possessions: like some property.

Sun and Moon in Aquarius love to tease people, especially with other Scorpio placements. they are funny sometimes to the point of being socially awkward, but always happy if people can have funny banter with them. if you want to know if the person with Moon in Aquarius feels good about you, then observe how they behave with you: the weirder it gets - more comfortable they feel themselves around you.

Mercury in Aquarius art definitely leans towards some absurd and grotesque stuff, and might be difficult to grasp the genius of their verbal creativity, but it's doubtlessly unique as they have their OWN way of expressing their thoughts.

leo-aquarius axis🧞‍♂️

ohhh I love axis’s and opposites discussions!! for me, every axis is like a scale of two opposite colors of the same thing, two opposite shades of one quality. it represents the dual quality of everything and how life isn’t about something one, but rather about balance ✨

leo is about personal identity, about ego, about self, about here and now. aquarius is, on the contrary, about humanity as a whole, about non-humanity and about future. one is passionate and warm, the other is rather spaced out and detached. one is full of energy, the other one is pure rationality. however, if we zoom out a bit, we can notice that those two are the poles of the same magnet, gravitating to each other wishing for fulfillment of their deep core desire: desire for acceptance

I will repeat myself: both of those signs desire the same thing - to be recognized and accepted as they are.

leo desperately tries to build the identity for ppl so that the world will notice and recognize them, however, by gathering more and more ppl around they are pursuing only one thing: to find somebody that will accept them the way they are, without them putting on glittery and fun persona, without them trying their hardest to bring others warmth and excitement in their daily lives. leo is the artist in the spotlight, signing their soul out hoping that there’s at least one person that fully understands and accepts them

💭nb: I’ve remembered that one episode of Rick and Morty, where Rick turned himself into a child and on the surface was having the time of his life, hanging out with teenagers and singing songs that everybody around was just vining to. but the song he was signing contained lyrics “let me out, this is not a dance! I’m screaming for help, please, let me out!” bc his real body was actually dying each second he spent in the kid body. and around everybody else just vining to the song and saying how cool Rick is, there was only Morty, that actually listened and tried to save him. this episode, imo, is a great illustration for how leo would go about finding and acceptance and recognition

aquarius, on the other hand, is someone that is so accepting of others and so much universe-oriented that they can loose their sense of self. who they are as a single person, as a human soul? aquarians are walking around there looking for bits of their identity and trying to rationally built it bit by bit. they have a really hard time bc they can loose themselves to a point where nothing seems real anymore (“does anything exist? do even I exist, or am I someone else’s hallucination, or a side effect of some cosmic glitch?”). aquas desire for acceptance and understanding is more about: “please, take my hand and tell me I’m real, I’m a human being and I exist”. they look for someone that would prove and validate their own existence.

and here we have two opposites of one axis: one is so human to a point they give themselves out completely to others, and the other one is so detached they don’t believe they’re real anymore. however, if we put these two together, each of them will get one they desire most: leo will finally feel heard, accepted and validated no matter how weird and unacceptable they may have felt, and aqua will finally feel like a real human being, covered in warmth and authenticity of leo’s aura.

[SU] Steven Universe ESFJ 9w1 so/sx

Zodiac: Leo (August,15)

MBTI 

ESFJ (Fe-Si-Ne-Ti)

Fe (Extroverted Feeling)

If there is something that is clearly stated as soon as you start watching Steven Universe is his strong Fe. This functions is focused on others persons emotional status. Steven constantly focuses on others emotional state and how to help them. In all episodes we see how the core problem is somebody else's emotional state being affected and Steven goes out of his way to help him. While his Fe is one of his biggest strength it can also be one on his biggest weaknesses due to him focusing on others emotions too much and not his owns. 

Si (Introverted Sensing) 

Watching the first series I was very close on typing him an ESFP however I believe he is a case similar to Leorio (Hunter X Hunter) in which his writing can be a bit weird he might flip flop between Si and Se. But after a bit of thinking I believe I see a more Fe-Si than Se-Fi. Steven is quite good at step by step process he seems to look into more step by step process when it comes to handling problems. I agree that he is way to practical to be an ENFJ (I was very close to typing him as such do to Fe-Se). So I ended duo settling for ESFJ. 

Ne (Extroverted Intuition) 

Steven’s tert Ne is quite developed which is why I ended up choosing ESFJ over ESFP.  When it comes to more complex and difficult threats Steven uses Ne in order to find a way to solve the problem. He looks through multiple possibilities and tries to find a middle ground between his the “villains” needs and the gems owns. In the finally on the first series we see how he finds common ground in rose quartz existence between her and white diamond. 

Ti (Introverted Thinking)

Steven’s Ti is bad...yeah. Ok but some explanation , I mostly blame it on his writing rather than a lack of development. Steven tends to forget to think through things in logical way. He doesn’t try and understand things through a more logical way. And the series lowkey validates his low Ti. And how he “doesn’t really” need to use it in comparison to his Fe.

Enneagram: 9w1 so/sx

While enneagram 2w1 so/sp is a common typing for Steven I believe it's another case of mistyping 9s as 2s. Remember type 2s are in the image triad meaning that they tend to look to portray an idealistic image for example I believe Madeline Mackenzie from big little lies is a better example of social 2 due to the fact that she portrays as idealize image of what a helpful and caring individual; yes Steven does have a strong fix on 2 and certain traits like ignoring his own pain come across in his story allot however I believe this to be another enneagram 9 trait (deciding to disengage with reality). I believe his core need is to find Harmony with others and avoid many disturbances. Also soc 2 have a tendencies to look like 8s and idk how to feel about that with Steven. Since he is one of the most counter 8 characters in the show.
