MJ Crystal Photo Series — 6/♾️
Lepidocrocite helps with committing to your life’s purpose and taking action in order to make progress. This gemstone reminds me a lot of Michael’s work ethic which was drilled into him and his brothers by his father and was something that never left him once he went solo. Lepidocrocite values tradition and educates without judgment and shares wisdom for the highest good of humanity. Michael was an avid reader and enjoyed being a sponge soaking up and wringing out his new knowledge and innate creative genius for the world to enjoy and be inspired by.
Michael collected rocks and gemstones. It’s something I found out this year and made me want to do this series because I collect and use crystals myself for over 9 years now. Two things I enjoy wrapped in one, MJ and crystals.

People always ask me if I can show what my personal collection looks like, so here are some pieces! I have to keep most of them packed away for now because I don’t have a proper place to display them.
Here’s what’s in the video: Chlorite phantom quartz; Brazil, Black tourmaline on quartz; Brazil, Emerald on matrix; Austria, Phantom amethyst; Madagascar, Shattuckite; DRC, Lepidocrocite in quartz; Namibia, Polished citrine; Brazil, Smoky amethyst; Madagascar, Quartz; Arkansas USA, Ametrine; Bolivia, Tangerine quartz; Brazil

Clean energy plans, including the U.S. Infrastructure Investment Act's "Clean Hydrogen Road Map," are counting on hydrogen as a fuel of the future. But current hydrogen separation technology is still falling short of efficiency and sustainability goals. As part of ongoing efforts to develop materials that could enable alternative energy sources, researchers in Drexel University's College of Engineering have produced a titanium oxide nanofilament material that can harness sunlight to unlock the ubiquitous molecule's potential as a fuel source. The discovery offers an alternative to current methods that generate greenhouse gas and require a great deal of energy. Photocatalysis, a process that can split hydrogen from water using only sunlight, has been explored for several decades, but has remained a more distant consideration because the catalyst materials enabling the process can only survive it for a day or two, which limits its long-term efficiency and, as a result, its commercial viability. Drexel's group, led by College of Engineering researchers Michel Barsoum, PhD, and Hussein O. Badr, PhD, in collaboration with scientists from the National Institute of Materials Physics in Bucharest, Romania, recently reported its discovery of photocatalytic titanium oxide-based, one-dimensional nanofilament material that can help sunlight glean hydrogen from water for months at a time. Their article "Photo-stable, 1D-nanofilaments TiO2-based lepidocrocite for photocatalytic hydrogen production in water-methanol mixtures," published in the journal Matter, presents a sustainable and affordable path for creating hydrogen fuel, according to the authors.

I'm so sorry if I sound like a dick that's not my intention at all! Isn't super seven supposed to refer to a group of a specific set of gemstones and not one gem in itself? Sorry if I'm wrong.
NO YOU'RE TOTALLY COOL! from my understanding (not a geologist don't trust me), the super seven is a group of seven minerals (amethyst, cacoxenite, geothite, lepidocrocite, rutile, quartz, and smoky quartz) all encased in quartz to keep it in a single crystal form.
either way it's not a toooootally scientific name but also if any gem fusion was going to have a bullshit gem fusion name that sounds like a stupid gamer tag, it'd be solrox <3<

The kinds of nonsense people call "sunstone." I've bought two different sets of "sunstone" beads and it turns out one of them is actually peach moonstone and the other is...something other than Lepidocrocite, which to my understanding is actual sunstone.

Super 7
Super 7 is a unique structure that is more so classified as a ‘rock’ rather than a mineral.
This rock is comprised of seven different crystals hence it’s name. The crystals that form this structure are Clear Quartz, Smokey Quartz, Amethyst, Goethite, Rutile, Cacoxenite and Lepidocrocite.
Clear Quartz and Amethyst are usually the two crystals that form the bulk of Super 7 with the other crystals forming specks of small inclusions which may only be visible when holding the specimen up to a light source.
Initially Super 7 was only found in Brazil but has later been found in other locations around the world such as Australia and Madagascar.
Super 7 isn’t something that I find to be abundantly for sale and in fact over the 15 or so years I’ve been collecting I’ve only ever come across two specimens for sale, one of which I bought which is the pictures specimen here.

Super Seven, whether you remember it as a melody stone or a sacred stone, it always remains a surprising gemstone for so many individuals. The rare combination of seven minerals, including Amethyst, Cacoxenite, Goethite, Lepidocrocite, Clear Quartz, Rutile, and Smoky Quartz, with some possible inclusions of Hematite, all naturally combined in one crystal. In this unique combination of super seven jewelry, crystals also help each other to magnify their powers & energies to provide the wearer with most of it. Additionally, this fusion is also known for its ability to cleanse the crown chakra while aligning all the chakras.

Discharged in large quantities by textile, cosmetic, ink, paper and other manufacturers, dyes carry high-toxicity and can bring potential carcinogens to wastewater. It's a major concern for wastewater treatment -- but researchers in Drexel University's College of Engineering may have found a solution, using a tiny nanofilament. A study lead Michel Barsoum, Ph.D., Distinguished University professor in the College of Engineering, and his team, including researchers from Drexel's College of Arts and Sciences, found that a one-dimensional, lepidocrocite structured titanium oxide photocatalyst material has the ability to break down two common dye pollutants -- rhodamine 6G and crystal violet -- under the visible light spectrum. The material also reduced those dye concentrations in the water by 90% and 64%, respectively, in just 30 minutes, when the starting catalyst to dye mass ratio was 1 to 1. "This is an exciting finding because it helps to address a problem that has been a real challenge for the water treatment process," Barsoum said. "We anticipate that integrating our titanium-oxide photocatalyst into the current processes could improve its effectiveness in removing these chemicals, as well as reducing the amount of energy required to do so."
