#hi my guardian feels#and how it makes me entirely befuddled to see the drama defended from loving mocking and legit criticism both#by those claiming it's good through and through#it's...not that#and it's okay!#it's GREAT at making people have feelings and it has some amazing concepts to play with in fic#and nobody could have asked for better lead actors#(better dubbing of the supporting cast would've helped but they all really tired at least?)#also this is my space so i can say i hate the ending and wish most things past ep 38 had gone differently‚ not just for feels reasons#but because it takes the central themes of dixingren are the same as haixingren and deserve better#and shen wei should know he is more than a weapon#and runs those through a wood chipper#let's separate dixing and haixing forever!#and shen wei has to literally blow himself up to stop the brother he was trying to save#wtf#no thank you#no thank you so much#that is not a good ending#tag rant over
