Detective Levi x Doctor Reader
Tumblr media
Warnings: Description of sexual fantasy and sexual teasing. (NSFW)
Levi is the most famous detective if your country. He's the best when it comes to manipulation, physical combat, figuring out hard puzzles and riddles, catching even the smallest clues that are left by the criminals. Not to mention pulling out information from people or making the criminals admit their crimes in the most unpredictable way possible, just through talking. Every single criminal in the country is scared of him because if he's the one who's taking the case, that's the end for them.
You were just a normal doctor, working in the same organisation with him. And since it's not rare for him to get hurt, you two meet each other often. You are gentle, friendly and a soft person who always takes care of his wounds with a smile. Since he never experienced these kinds of soft behaviours in his life, he helplessly starts to fall for you.
Slowly but dangerously...
You smile, entering the infirmary as you find bruised Levi sitting on the bed.
"Ah, Erwin did tell me you were beaten up pretty badly.... I'm really surprised that you're still sitting straight in this state."
You speak softly and offer him a sweet smile as you start to prepare the equipment for his treatment.
"I'll be fine."
He speaks in his usual dry tone as his piercing eyes fall on you. The eyes, everyone is scared of, yet you don't seem to feel even a bit uncomfortable under his intense stares.
"Of course, after all you're getting treated by me."
You say smugly as you chuckle and look directly into his piercing blue eyes.
"Take all of your clothes off without your underwear. I need to know how much of a bad state you are in."
Levi can't resist any of your demands, so he does as you ask without saying a word and gets undressed for you to examine him. You hum as you roam your eyes around his whole body.
"One gunshot, several deep stabs, lots of bruises.... What the heck happened? How many people did you fight?"
You ask in a slightly worried tone as you fill the injection with muscle relaxant.
"Does it matter?"
He speaks, in a blunt tone, as always.
"Nah, just curious about the person who has beat you up like this. Sounds unbelievable...."
You ask him with curiosity as you slowly inject his shoulder, where he is shot.
"It's not important."
Levi repeats, his tone of voice still rough. He's suddenly feeling an urge to kiss the cute face because he missed you so damn much. But he's not gonna tell you or let you know this, unless the situation isn't much needed .
"Seems like your ego is bruised? I mean, your words are showing a slightly pissed emotion."
You ask, chuckling again as you lean over his shoulder and start to clean his wound making Levi freeze. He can feel your body heat and smell your shampoo, which is making his cock hard.
"You want to try my ego?"
He asks in a gruff voice as he tilts his head to look directly at your beautiful face.
"I have no reason to."
You say as you pick up the bullet extractor and lean on his shoulder more and concentrate on pulling the bullet.
"Don't move."
You speak in a commanding voice, your eyes are stuck on his wound.
"Make me."
Levi challenges you, his rough voice filled with hidden emotions that he tries to hide behind his usual tough demeanor. Every time you lean against his side, it is hard to keep his body from aching with desire. He wants to pull and kiss you senselessly and make love to you until you'll beg for him to stop... And when he's done, you will be covered with his love bites and won't be able to walk properly.... But being completely oblivious to his feelings, you smack his chest.
"Shut up.... I don't want to accidentally cut any of your nerves. So stay still and don't be a brat."
You say as you slowly start to pull the bullet out. Your words make Levi grunt as he tries to focus on keep being still as you pull the bullet out of his wound. You huff and sigh.
"The bullet is out. Now I'll stitch you up, ok?"
You say as you put the bullet on a tray and take the medical needle.
"Do whatever you want."
He let out a rough huff of air making you chuckle. You hold his chin, making him look up in your eyes.
"Whatever I want?"
You ask, looking into his eyes as your expression softens.
"Are you deaf?"
His words are stern and rough.
"What if I want to fuck this body?"
You keep looking into his piercing greyish blue eyes as you speak, making him freeze.
"I wouldn't resist."
He speaks in his rough voice, his breathing has become heavier.
"I know that. You can't...."
You say pointing at his bludge and smile making Levi freeze again. His heart starts to pound faster as his breathing becomes more shallow as his cheeks blush a little. A little....
"Just do something, already…"
He mumbles making you smile. You push him back and he ends up laying flat in the bed.
"Should I?"
You ask seductively, leaning down on him, placing both of your hands to his waist's both sides, strangeling him.
"Go ahead, I don't care anymore…"
You smile at his words and put your hands on his bulge over his boxer.
"Of course, you don't.... You're too whipped for me. You thought I haven't noticed? I'm not that fool."
Levi is clearly too aroused to put up any resistance, and you know it. He despises how weak you make him feel, but at the same time, he enjoys the feeling of your hands playing over his hard cock. He speaks as you feel his cock twitching against your hand, begging for your touch and release.
"I don’t know what you're talking about or what you're trying to do... But I surely know, you're enjoying this."
Levi tries to keep his tone of voice even and neutral. But even he can hear how weak he sounds. He tries desperately not to groan and buck his hips to your hands.
"You're so damn hard... Is it because of me? Tell me."
You ask as you keep stroking his tip softly and slowly with your index and middle finger.
"You know it’s because of you…"
Levi speaks as he releases a heavy breath and his hips accidentally bumps against your hand, making you chuckle. You remove your hand from his cock as he looks at you with disbelief. You know now it's useless to tease you just to make him confess for you because he can control his emotions well. He won't beg for you nor he won't moan the words " I love you" even if you make him cum in your hands. So instead of that you take the needle again and start to stitch the wound of his shoulder.
"So when are we going on our first date?"
You ask, chuckling, to make him more pissed.
"I'm not going on a damn date with you…"
Levi speaks in his usual rough voice. He is trying to regain his composure after you have removed your hand. He's seriously pissed.
"Ok then.... I'm going with someone else. I can't keep stuck on you forever if the feeling is not mutual."
You speak as you keep stitching his wound.
"That's fine. Go be with whoever you want. It’s not like I care."
He speaks in a sarcastic tone, his voice is full of pure jealousy and he doesn't even bother to hide it.
"I see. Then don't you dare to blackmail or beat the boys up who I'm gonna date. I swear, I'll poison you if you're gonna do that!"
You say as you poke his lip softly with the needle. A silent warning.
"Then don't date anyone else. I won't do anything."
His voice is calm and nonchalant this time, as always.
"Wow! You won't date me, or even let me date anyone.... Is that fair, Mr Ackerman?"
You ask sarcastically, in a pissed tone as you finish stitching him and clear off the blood.
"There is no fair and unfair in life, Dr. Y/N. There is only what is and what isn't."
Levi says bluntly. He hates that he feels possessive of you. To lose you to someone else would be losing his life... So he'll beat up every guy to the group if that's needed.
"Tell me, Levi. You don't like me."
You speak as you lean down on him. Both of your faces are so close that both of your lips touch others with every word. The touch is soft and sweet, making Levi's heart beating faster and sending his emotions into chaos.
"I hate you"
Levi's words aren't convincing and you can see it in his eyes. You smile and kiss his lips softly, closing your eyes, letting both of your breaths hitting each other's faces.
"Do you?"
You nuzzle your nose with his as you speak, kissing his lips softly again. Levi freezes for a few seconds, feeling your lips on his. But he doesn't kiss you back, instead replies in a soft tone.
"I hate that I can't hate you…"
He says as his expression softens, and then he finally kisses you. The kiss is so gentle and soft that you can't help but smile against his lips. As he removes his lips from yours, you start to work on the stabs of his body as he keeps laying flat on the hospital bed.
"Why do you hate yourself for that? It's not one sided."
You ask curiously after a while while still taking care of his wounds with soft touches.
"You know me. I hate being vulnerable."
"I really don't know how expressing your love to someone can make you vulnerable."
"Because it makes you vulnerable to the person you love. You'd do anything for them, you trust them to the end, and would let yourself get hurt because of them… How is that not a form of weakness to you?"
You raise your brows at his words.
"Why do you think I'll hurt you?"
Your words are soft, filled up with affection.
"Isn't it obvious? Look how I react to you when we're together. I can't stay rational or calm around you, I'm always an irritated mess when we're together."
Your eyes soften more as you sense the insecurity in his voice. You smile softly and lean down again, to kiss his forehead.
"But I absolutely like that... Seeing the greatest detective being a mess around me. I'll deal with that in exchange of you dealing with my mess. Like my drawer's?"
Your soft tone and kiss change Levi’s mood a bit. He wants to organise your drawers... Organise you... Organise the bond of you two.
"So are they like... really messy?"
He asks curiously making you laugh.
"It's just... I don't get enough time to organise my clothes."
You finally finish taking care of his wounds and move away from him.
"I'm finished.... About the other bruises, they'll get healed themselves. Most importantly, rest your shoulder for at least 3 days."
You speak in your "Doctory Vibe" tone as he chuckles a bit and nods.
"Can I come over and help organize them while I'm resting? I can't stand messy stuff like that, especially clothes."
He asks as he sits up on the bed.
"So, you're willing to be my boyfriend Otherwise why my apartment's disorganised clothes should bother you?"
You ask, chuckling, making him freeze again. Levi doesn't know if you are serious enough to consider this a dating opportunity. But if that's the case, he'll gladly accept.
"I want to be more than your boyfriend…"
You laugh again this time, but more happily and softly.
"Oh? What happened to your 'I hate you' earlier?"
You question him with your playful voice as he sighs.
"You should've known that my words weren't true. I can't hate you."
You roll your eyes at his words and throw his clothes at him.
"Yeah yeah. Now get dressed.... I'll text you my address later."
You say as you walk towards the sink to wash your hands, making Levi happy and excited with your words.
He's not just gonna clean, he'll definitely take revenge of your teasing earlier. Hell definitely make sure to cum inside your damn womb. Definitely.
"I'll be waiting for your text…"

any book recs? looking for something to hold me over inbetween your updates! anything you’ve found yourself pulling inspo from for your fic or that you think a fellow levi fan would love?
hi!!! ofc, i've got plently of fic recs, i'm pretty sure i've read 80% of all levi fics on ao3 atp😭 I sadly have not had the time to read as many fics nowadays like I used to, but here are some of my all time favs!!
(also i apologise, my summary skills are terrible and so it's just me gushing over the fics for a whole paragraph🧎‍♀️)
Death's Door by SongsOfApollo
one of the first fics I read, and a fic that has literally never left my brain since then. It's amazing. It's very popular so I'm sure you've heard about it already if not read it, but if you haven't, it's a must read!! levi x doctor reader!
Dust, Diamonds by maokitty
the best way i can describe this fic is that it drove an iron stake through my heart multiple times, pulled it out, then delicately rearranged the pieces and stitched it back together with gentle fingers. take it how you will but after a certain chapter i stopped reading it bc it was too painful, and then came back two months later to finish it off AND I AM SO GLAD I DID.
A River Of Three Crossings by maokitty
this fic literally ruined my life it was so fucking good but its incomplete and hasn't been updated since 2020 i am SO SAD. but please read this, it's so good, so heart crushing and sweet and amazing I love it sm
ALSO I JUST FUCKING REALISED ITS THE SAME AUTHOUR WHILE WRITING THIS LIST😭
reciprocal sin by captain-hawks (@captain-hawks)
SO UNDERRATED!??! must read, i cannot say anything else but READ THISSS. its a kinky smutty oneshot so make sure you read the content warnings, but its sooo good😭 amazing writing too!
silver soul by oi_levi
sadly this one is incomplete and hasn't been updated since 2021, but it's brilliantttt. if you're craving some good post-war levi fics, then this one's really good!!
also read In the Land of Gods and Monsters by them for a fun time😊
a sip of sunshine by taomyou (@taomyou)
speaking of post-war fics, this one is amazinggg. super cute and fluffy, angsty ending for part 1 (😭) but I know for sure their next part will be worth the wait. also they've got a complete modern au fic called The Romance Of Reimbursements which is so fucking beautiful, definitely read this!!! (also mchs, acoc... yeah just read all of them tbh)
silver underground. by tothestrongones (@amywritesthings)
this one's a recent read, but omfg i cannottt get enough of it. absolutely love this, it's levi x underground reader, amnesia trope done right. 10/10 must read!!!
we all bleed red by littlerequiem (@littlerequiem)
also a recent read, but omfg this fic is so good. it's vampire au, victorian era, slowburn brilliant writing, and healthy communication!?!? no way. checks all the boxes for me😫
Percolate by heichoe
modern coffee shop au, its so good omfg. it's such a cute fic, classic grumpy levi, friends w benefits, lots of smut and the DRAMA gosh. i was so invested, it was so good. (also ur gonna need an account on ao3 to read the fic!!)
this is a story of the sea by shinzouing
this one is levi x erwin x reader (i read it for the levi x reader bc erwin was gonna die anyways lmao) but i fell in loveeee with it!! wonderful writing, amazing story, 10/10 angst & slowburn, a definite must read! (also 20/10 smut, it was so fucking good)
(also literally every fic by wellitcouldbeworse3 on ao3 is amazinggg, check them out if you haven't already. which i'm sure you have, and that is the only reason i haven't listed out all of their fics here😭 The Feeling's Mutual is my fav modern au fic of all time no questions asked)

Part 13
Tumblr media
The neon lights gleamed and reflected off the black car as it approached the club. All eyes were on it as it pulled up. The rain had finally stopped causing the floors to look like black rivers. There was anticipation in the air. Everyone was curious about who was the person behind the wheel of the expensive car. The long line of people waiting to get in was no longer pushing and begging the bouncer, but instead staring at the car.
Multiple gasps were heard when the door swung open. A smart shoe that seemed to have a dazzling shine to it stepped out. Another joined the foot and was shortly followed by a young man with raven hair, steel blue eyes and a charming smile. He was almost the spitting image of his handsome father who owned the club with his wife.
The man popped a blood candy in his mouth that his darling mother made and locked his cold gaze onto a family friend, Mike. He smirked and moved his way over to the very tall blonde vampire. “Oi, Mike? How’s it going?”
Mike looked up and grinned instantly. “Evan! Holy shit, you’re back. You were gone for what, two months?”
“Yeah, I went out of the city to do some work for Uncle Erwin.” He glanced at the line of people and heard the women squeal in delight at him looking over. Evan was like his father, naturally handsome and even more so as a vampire. Plus, he had the gentle and sweet personality of his mother. There was a small side of him like his crazy father, but he kept that hidden from his precious mother. “How’s momma?”
Mike waved to the bouncer and walked inside with Evan. “She’s good. She misses you, but your father is incredible at distracting her. Your three sisters are doing a good job too, but you know what your mother is like.”
Evan walked through the clean and lively club. “When one flower is not in the garden, it's empty.” He chuckled as he thought about his parents and three sisters. He adored how close everyone was and how it was filled with love. “I missed them.”
Mike put his arm around Evan. “Oh, I have some news for you. Your Uncle Erwin finally confessed his feelings.”
“Holy shit. He’s finally told Kat he loves her?”
“Yep.” He smiled. “She’s still the head of all the bar staff. Bar manager. She’s the best. Erwin wants to spoil her and make her a vampire, but she loves working for your mother and they are very close friends. She asked to be human for a bit longer.”
Evan smirked. “That’s funny. I can’t wait to see Uncle Erwin pouting a lot.”
“It is funny.” He walked into VIP and led Evan to the bar where Kat was working and Erwin was sitting playing with a drink. “Evening both. I have a handsome lad here who you might recognise.”
Erwin sat up and gazed at Evan. A bright smile spread over his lips. “Evan!” He hugged Evan tightly. “Good to see you. You get back now? I thought you were finishing tomorrow?”
Evan sat down and chuckled. “Yeah, well I missed my sisters and parents. So, I got work done faster and came back. It’s all good, right?”
Erwin nodded. “Fantastic, yeah. You got your incredible brain from your dad, your people skills from your mother and your creativity from her too.”
“I lucked out.” He looked around. “Where are momma and papa?”
Kat handed a drink over to Evan. “Your father took her upstairs to the office about twenty minutes ago.” She winked at him. “They’ll be back in five or ten minutes.”
Evan downed some of this drink. “Or an hour. Dad can’t help himself with Mum.”
“They have a charming romance.” He sat down and sighed. “I missed them and my sisters so bad.” He hummed. “Uncle Erwin? Please don’t send me away for a long time again.”
Erwin smiled. “Don’t worry, I won’t. I find it hard being away from Kat.” He reached over, took her hands and began kissing them. “My sexy kitten.”
Kat leaned over and kissed Erwin. “My handsome bear.” She gazed at Evan. “Any luck on the love front?”
Evan shook his head. “Not yet. I’m waiting on my soulmate.” He sighed and looked out at the club. “This place looks incredible.”
“Excuse me?” A girl moved closer to Evan and pushed her chest out. “Hi. Buy me a drink?”
Evan stared at her. “Let me guess, you saw the clothes I wore and guessed I was rich. So, you decided to pick on me to get you a drink because you knew I could afford it. You also picked me because you think you’ll pay me back with your company, right?”
She giggled. “Yeah. I mean, I’m hot sooo we’d have a great night.” She ran her hand up his arm. “You’re a vampire, right? That’s hot. You can feed on me as much as you like. I just want the most expensive drink and VIP access.”
Evan laughed. “I’m not going to do that. I’m not interested either. I am looking for my soulmate, not some payment fuck. Go find a loser vampire. I’m not fucking interested. I’m not some money bag or a bag of meat.”
She snarled at him. “Who the fuck do you think you are? I’m hot! You should be honoured.”
“Evan!” Levi jogged over with a big grin on his face.
The girl gasped. “Wait, you know Lord Ackerman?”
Evan stood up. “He’s my dad.” Evan hurried over and hugged Levi tightly. “Hey Dad, it’s good to see you.” He pulled back and frowned. “Where’s Mum?”
Levi blushed a little. “She’ll be with us in a bit. How come you’re back so early? We were planning a welcome home party for you.”
“I just missed you all so much.”
“I’m glad you’re home and I’m glad you didn’t get hurt.” Levi hugged him again and covered Evan’s face in kisses.
Evan laughed. “I stayed safe, Dad.”
You huffed as you fixed your dress. “Levi, you’re in so much trouble when we get home.”
Levi turned to face you with hearts in his eyes. “My darling love, before you say something naughty, our adorable son is back.”
You looked up and gasped when you saw Evan. “EVAN!” You ran over and hugged him tightly. “My little flower.”
Evan chuckled as he hugged you back. “Hey, Mum. I missed you.”
You cupped his face and looked up at him as tears filled your eyes. “I missed you too.” You covered his face with kisses. “My handsome man.”
He wiped your tears away. “Don’t cry, Mum.”
Levi’s eyes widened. “You’re crying?” He yanked you into his arms. “My darling.”
“Dad, she’s just happy.”
Levi hugged you tightly. “I know, but I don’t like her crying. She should be happy all the time.”
You sniffed. “I’m so glad you’re home, Evan. Two months was too long.”
Evan chuckled. “It was. I missed you both and my sisters.” He smiled at you. “Can we go home?”
“Yes, right Levi?”
Levi nodded. “Yes, let’s go home.”
Evan pulled out his car keys. “I’ll drive so you two can kiss in the back.”
Levi blushed as he followed Evan. “We’re not that bad.”
“You are, Dad.”
Levi whined. “Darling?”
You kissed Levi’s cheek. “There’s nothing wrong with wanting to be with me all the time. I always want to be with you.”
“You do?”
You giggled. “Of course I do! Why wouldn’t I? We’ve been together for over 100 years.”
Levi kissed and nipped your neck. “Every second has been blissful.” He opened the car door and let you in. He climbed in after you and snuggled up. “Can’t believe our son is driving us home.”
“Mm, it’s fun!” You leaned forward. “Evan, my little flower? You’re amazing.”
Evan smiled. “Thanks, Mum.” He glanced at the mirror. “How are Lilly and her boyfriend doing?”
You gasped. “Evan.”
He glanced in the mirror and saw how much Levi was pouting. “Oh, dear.”
Levi growled. “Fuck that guy!”
You played with Levi’s hair. “Your father doesn’t like him.”
Evan frowned. “Why?”
Levi huffed. “He’s immature! He’s like a toddler!”
You rubbed Levi’s back. “Sweetheart? Breathe.”
He turned and snuggled up to you. “I just don’t like it.”
“I know, but you have to let our daughter make her own life choices. We can’t protect her all the time.” You smiled. “But we can be clean up.”
Evan laughed as he pulled up at the big family home. “Mum, no murder.”
You got out of the car. “What about removing a limb?”
“Mum.”
Levi got out and closed the door. “I think removing a limb is good.”
“Dad.” Evan shook his head. “I know there is no use in talking to the two of you.” He looked ahead when he saw the doors open. He grinned when he saw Lilly, Daisy and Violet. “There are my wonderful sisters.” He jogged over to them. “Hi!”
Levi smiled as he held you. “Look at them. Our precious kids together.” He nipped your earlobe. “I want another baby.”
You rubbed Levi’s chest. “Honey, you know that vampires have low fertility.”
“You say that and yet we have set the record for the most children a purebred vampire has ever had. The Monroe family had it with two, but we have four. We could have more.”
You kissed his cheek a few times. “We’ll see what happens.”
Levi grabbed your bum. “I’m determined.”
You giggled. “I know.” You gasped in horror when Lilly came running over to you sobbing. “Lilly?” You caught her and hugged your stunningly beautiful daughter. “What’s wrong?”
Evan picked up his little six-year-old sister, Violet. “Mum? You might want to take it slow with this one.”
Daisy, who was in her 20s gave you a reassuring smile. “You’ve got this, Mum. Just make sure Dad doesn’t lose his shit.”
Levi stared at his three goddess-looking girls and then his godly son. “What’s going on?”
You cupped Lilly’s face. “You want to go to the clubhouse your daddy and I made for you kids?”
Lilly sniffed back her tears. “Mm. Yes.”
You held her against you and walked with her. “Come with me, my little flower, let’s talk somewhere you feel safe.”
Levi hurried ahead and went to the clubhouse by the lake. It was a lovely modern hut with double doors, big windows, a swing seat outside and inside it was full of comfy things. Soft bed floors, cushions, blankets and soft lighting made it perfect for everyone. He pushed the double doors open to let him the gentle night breeze before setting up a little area with food.
You sat Lilly down, wrapped her in a blanket and then cuddled her. “What’s happened?”
She lay on your lap and cuddled up to you. “Mummy.”
You played with her hair. “Talk to us.”
Levi held Lilly’s hand. “We’re here for you, lilypad. Did your boyfriend hurt you?”
Lilly shook her head. “I broke up with him.”
You leaned down and kissed her head. “I’m sorry.”
“He was an asshole. I know he wasn’t good for me, but I just wanted to have some fun with a guy who was a little exciting. He cheated on me.” She sobbed a little. “I brought in all the money. I cooked all his human meals. I cleaned up everything and he cheated! I was a maid, not a lover.”
“He doesn’t deserve you.” You brushed the hair from her face. “You are an incredible woman. You are sweet, kind, caring and smart. Fuck that man.”
Levi kissed Lilly’s hand. “He’s a piece of shit. He doesn’t deserve you. You’re incredible. You’re wonderful. You will find your soulmate someday and I know it. You don’t need to rush this. You are worth waiting for.”
Lilly smiled. “Thanks, Dad. Thanks, Mum.” She rubbed her tears. “Don’t kill him, Dad.”
Levi huffed. “Fine.”
You sat Lilly up and held her tightly. “We love you.” You kissed her cheek. “Now, hug your Dad for a bit.”
Lilly frowned a little. “Mum?”
You grinned. “I’m gonna go out for a bit.”
“Mum!” She gasped. “Dad! Mum is going to kill my ex!”
Levi ruffled his hair. “I can’t stop her. You know what she’s like.”
Lilly dove at you and hugged you. “Mummy, don’t!”
You whined a bit. “You know what calling me mummy does to me.” You sighed. “All right I won’t kill him.”
“Mummy?”
You let out a long sigh. “I’ll behave. I promise. You know I can’t resist it when you lot call me mummy.” You smiled as she hugged Levi. “I think a family night is needed, don’t you?”
Lilly nodded. “Please.” She smiled a little. “Hello, other flowers.”
You looked at the door to see your two daughters and son. “My flowers!” You opened your arms. “Come for a cuddle!” You hummed a laugh as they dove into your arms. “I love you all.”
Daisy sighed. “So, are we killing him?”
You pouted. “Lilly won’t let us.”
“Boo.” She flopped on her side. “I had a place to bury him as well.”
You smiled at your goth-loving daughter. “Same.”
Daisy grinned. “A swamp?”
“You know it.”
“You’re the best, Mum.”
Violet climbed onto your lap and sighed. “Tired.”
You played with her soft hair. “Have a nap on me, okay?”
She hummed and clung to you. “Mummy.”
Evan smiled at Lilly. “He didn’t deserve you, you know? You’re so cool and he was a loser. You need to find someone who is fun and makes you laugh. Someone who is a nerd who will play video games with you. A person that feels like home to you.”
Lilly welled up as he smiled. “You’re right.”
Levi let out a long sigh. “Shall we move to the house? We can watch movies, have some snacks and have a bit of fun as a family.” He smiled at Violet sleeping against you. “Of course, it is nap time for Violet.”
Daisy giggled. “I miss being six. I used to sleep a lot.”
Levi hummed. “Six was a good age.”
You held Violet against you and stood up. “Let’s head home.”
Levi put his arm around Lilly and walked with her. “You can talk to us whenever you need to, okay?”
Lilly smiled sweetly. “Thank you, all of you. I feel like I can keep going thanks to you all.”
You adjusted Violet’s floppy body in your arms. “I’ll make blood hot chocolates.”
Levi sighed. “Darling, I hired people to do things like that for us.”
You whined. “But I like making it.”
Daisy jumped around the garden. “Mum’s version is the best.”
Evan jogged ahead. “She’s right, Dad.”
Levi released a long sigh. “I know but I want your mother to relax a little.”
Lilly leaned over and whispered. “I think Dad wants to snuggle with Mum.”
You blushed. “Levi? Do you want to snuggle?”
Levi nodded shyly. “I do.”
Daisy giggled. “I know how you make it, mum. Let me try.”
You gasped. “Yes.” Your eyes widened and slowly filled with tears. “I’m so proud.”
Lilly hummed a laugh. “You two really set the standard for romance and love.”
Evan smiled a bit. “You both really do.”
You welled up and started sobbing a bit. “I’m so happy and I can’t believe how much love there is around me.”
Evan took Violet from you. “I think Dad wants you.”
Levi tackled you into a hug. “Darling.”
You clung tightly to Levi. “My babies are so wonderful and you’re so perfect.”
Levi picked you up and carried you to the living room. “Come on, time to snuggle in front of the TV.” He carried you and sat down on the cushioned floor with you. “Are you okay, my love?”
You nuzzled the crook of Levi’s neck. “I’m just a bit emotional, that’s all.”
Levi gasped. “Baby?”
You sighed. “No, no. I’m just emotional, that’s all. You know I go through phases and weak phases too.”
Levi looked at the scars on your arm from the sun pit. He lightly touched it and kissed your temple. “I know, my love, but I always see you as my strong and sexy wife.” He sighed. “You going through a sick phase?”
You hummed a moment as you thought. “Yeah. I feel a bit weak, I’m always tired and I just…mmm.”
“Headache?”
You sniffed a little. “I don’t want the kids to know. They worry too much when I get sick. Evan panics the most.”
Levi sighed. “He does. Bless him.” He gazed at you. “You’ve been in the sun too much, haven’t you?”
You hid your face against Levi. “Mm.”
“I’m not mad, don’t worry.” He chuckled. “It’s okay. Plus, I’m a bit to blame. I’ve been playing with you a lot.”
You giggled. “It’s been wonderful. You know I can’t get enough of you either.”
Levi rocked you. “How about a holiday? We can go as a family.”
Evan sat down and spoke after his sisters joined him. “I’ve put Violet to bed.” He sighed. “I think you two should go on holiday without us lot.”
You gasped and shook your head. “We can’t. Violet is only six and you three need me.”
Evan smiled. “I’m happy to babysit.”
Lilly squealed. “Yes! Me too!”
Daisy clapped her hands. “It’ll be so much fun!”
You whined a little. “Really? Are you all sure?”
Lilly nodded. “We’ve got this, Mum. You need the rest. You’ve been working your ass off with your business and looking after us. Plus, we know you’re sick.”
Daisy hummed in agreement. “We know the signs. You’re having a flare-up of what that bitch did to you.” She huffed. “I’m mad Dad killed her because I want to break her and kill her.”
Levi held you close. “You’re not killing anyone. You lot need to keep your hands clean, got it?”
All your kids spoke together. “Yes, Dad.”
“Good!” Levi smiled at you. “Drink some blood hot chocolate, okay?”
You nodded and took a cup from Daisy. “Thank you.” You sipped it and welled up. “It’s perfect. I love you all so damn much.”
Evan chuckled. “Mum has her happy tears again. A group hug is needed.”
You smiled brightly. “I’m so happy.”
Tumblr media
Violet stomped her boots down on the snow and giggled as she did. “Look, Mummy! It’s snow!”
You giggled. “It is.”
She ran a little ahead and stopped a moment. “Mummy?”
“Yes?”
She turned to you and smiled. “I love you.”
You walked over to her and cupped her face. “I love you so much.” You kissed her forehead. “You wanna go see the ducks?”
She nodded. “Please.” She bounced up and down as she walked with you. “Where’s Evan?”
“Your big brother is out with Daddy, Daisy and Lilly.” You squeezed her hand. “They have business to do. We are having a play day.”
Violet gasped when she watched the ducks. “Quack, quack!”
You played with her hair a little. “They’re cute, right?”
She nodded. “Yes.” She hummed a bit and looked around. A little gasp escaped her when she saw someone who scared her. She turned and clung to you. “Mummy, I don’t like him.”
You crouched down as she cried. “Don’t like who?”
She started crying. “The scary man!”
You scooped up Violet and looked around. “Scary man?” You looked around the park and felt your stomach drop when you saw someone who you hadn’t seen in years. His hair was a bit shorter now with the right side cut a bit so it reached his chin. There were a few layers in his hair now adding volume. He had the rest of it gathered together and over his left shoulder. “Damian.”
Damian walked closer to you as he softly said your name. “You are so beautiful. The modern world looks good on you.” He hummed a laugh. “Look at her. Your daughter is so cute. She’s your fourth, right?”
You squeezed Violet as she cried. “Y-Yes.” You gulped hard. “We have somewhere to be.”
He blocked your path. “Aren’t you glad to see me?” He walked closer to you causing you to back up. “We can finally be the family we dreamt of.”
Violet sobbed. “Mummyyyy.”
A flash of the past came to mind at Violet’s sobs. The old room, Evan screaming for you and Damian ripping your neck with his fangs. Panic set in as you were consumed by bad memories of the past. You shook a little and looked at Damian to see the madness in his eyes turning to concern. You turned and ran as fast as you could and prayed your blood bond with Levi worked.
You gasped as your lungs tightened up. “Levi!” You ran towards the park entrance. “Levi!”
Levi appeared before you with your son and two daughters. He shouted your name. “What’s wrong?” He saw you were having a panic attack. “Evan! Take Violet.”
Evan took Violet from you. “I’ve got her, Mum.”
Levi caught you in his arms. “It’s okay. I’ve got you. You can pass out now. You’re safe and Violet is too.”
You panted. “Thank…you…”
He held you close as you passed out. “Let’s get home, now!” He ran fast with his kids following. Levi was thankful that vampires could move so fast. He hurried you to the bedroom and lay you down. “Poor love.”
Violet sniffed. “Mummy?”
Evan sat with Violet on his lap. “Mummy is sleeping right now, okay?”
“Okay.”
Daisy knelt in front of Violet. “What happened?”
“Mm…there was a bad man.”
Lilly frowned. “Bad man? What did he look like?”
Violet pointed at Levi. “He had black hair like daddy, but long!”
Levi looked over at Violet. “What colour were his eyes?”
“Red.”
“Shit.” He winced. “Sorry, I shouldn’t swear.” He let out a long sigh. “I thought he’d given up. It’s been so long.”
Evan hugged Violet. “It’s Damian, isn’t it?”
Levi nodded. “No doubt about it.” He kissed your forehead. “Go play for a bit, okay? Your mother will be very emotional when she wakes up and panics. I know she doesn’t want you all to see her like that. Damian and his sister hurt her a lot.”
Lilly welled up. “Poor Mum.”
Daisy stood up. “We’ll surprise her with gifts!”
Evan smiled. “I think that’s a great idea! We’ll be back later, Dad.”
Levi welled up a little. “Thank you, so much. I love all of you.” He waited for them to leave before lying on his side and crying a little. “I’m sorry, my darling. I’m so sorry. I should have taken care of them a long time ago.”
You opened your eyes and smiled sweetly at Levi. “Hey, honey. Please don’t cry and blame yourself. You’re a wonderful man.”
Levi wrapped his arms around you and held you tightly. “I should have been there.”
“You can’t protect me all the time. What matters is you came.” You pulled at his shirt. “You know I love it when you cum.”
Levi blushed. “Tch, you dirty little minx.”
You giggled when he nibbled your neck. “I am.”
He caressed your cheek. “I’ll stop him, I promise.”
“I know you will. Be careful, okay?”
He kissed you and sighed. “I swear.”
You nibbled your lip a little. “I’m sorry I passed out.”
“You had a panic attack. It’s understandable.” He sighed. “Violet probably shouted for you and it reminded you of Evan as a baby.”
You nodded as tears ran down your cheeks. “Yes.”
“It’ll never happen again, I’ll make sure of it.”
You snuggled up to him. “We should hold off on that holiday. I don’t want to be away from my flowers with him around.”
Levi massaged his fingers in your hair. “I understand, but you need a break.”
“I’ll get my break when he’s gone.”
Levi kissed you and hummed in happiness. “I love you.”
“I love you always.”
He got up and pulled you against him. “Come on, my darling. The kids have a surprise for you.”
You stumbled along. “What?”
He chuckled and led you to the living room to see they were just finishing off decorations and there was vampire food and drink everywhere. “See?”
You welled up. “Oh, this is perfect. Thank you, all of you.” You cried when all tackled you into a hug. “I love you all so much.”
Violet held your hand. “Come, Mummy!”
Levi looked at his three kids staying by him. “You asked Violet to distract Mummy, right? What are you planning?”
Daisy smiled. “We want to help you stop him. We couldn’t help her before, but we’re strong pure-bred vampire adults now. Let us help.”
Evan gripped Levi’s upper arm. “Please.”
Lilly gave Levi her pleading eyes. “Come on, Dad.”
Levi let out a long sigh. “Fine, but your mother cannot know about this. Now, let’s have some fun and make your mother smile.”

This is a small preview to a future series. This will be an AOT story in a "modern-era" with supernatural creatures. Mainly vampires! This will be a Male!Reader x AOT characters, but mainly with Mikasa/Annie. Haven't really chose who will be the one, but those two will be the main ones.
MC will be a Yan!MC, not so much abuse will be involved!! Not that many dark themes will be added regarding that. He's just crazy bc he lost his first mate so.....yee.
It’s said that the night is terrifying in every possible way. That it would only take a person to imagine what was lying in the dark.
“Levi, come here.”
A black haired male, well into his early 30s, looked away from the moon shining through the ceiling glass window. His silver blue eyes dragged downward and onto a male sitting on a black chair illuminated by the blue moonlight. The voice belonged to him and Levi walked over to the man sitting at the desk, seeing the hungry red eyes of his superior.
“Bring me anyone from Nostalgia,” The man with red eyes ordered, his fangs peeking out every syllable he spoke. The man’s hand was placed under his chin holding up his terribly weakening body. His superior had been suffering for the past weeks because of the lack of sufficient blood he needed.
In response, Levi sighed with a roll of his eyes and said, “Their blood is tainted and you want to drink from them? I think it’s a shitty idea for you to do that, so just drink from me.” Levi offered his arm out and in his other hand appeared a dagger with a black hilt and gold trimming. He saw the dangerous flash of the bright red eyes of his superior and he brought the blade to his wrist. He pointed the tip in and before he could draw a line, he was stopped with an order.
“Freeze,” The commanding voice said and Levi stopped in his tracks. The order was so strong even when his superior was lacking the blood to keep him powerful. “Levi, you cannot be the one I bond with. You are my greatest friend and I cannot drag you to Hell with me. I will only drink from those beneath me.”
Levi gritted his teeth and released himself from the commandment with a groan. He took a deep breath in and huffed out, “You’re going to die if you don’t drink from a hybrid or a pureblood. If Freida didn’t stray away-”
“Freida was naive!” The man shouted in anger, standing up from his chair and slamming his fist onto the desk. It broke in half under his strength and his papers went flying. “She was my mate! And she was killed because she didn’t listen to me! That stupid brat she spent time with, her foolish father got Frieda killed!”
Levi looked down at the floor, ignoring the heated gaze from his superior. Bringing up Frieda was poor taste, but it was needed.
“[Name] as your greatest friend,” Levi started his sentence, clenching the dagger in his hand tightly, “I cannot watch you like this. I will find you another mate, one that will listen to you. You need better blood, one that will give you strength. If you succumb to thirst, they will come for you next.”
[Name] looked down at his broken desk and relaxed his hand, a large splinter had made its way into his palm. His blood slowly oozed from the wound he created. Then his red eyes looked up to see Levi turned away with his hand covering his nose. [Name] walked over to his cupboard and took a small glass out. He set it down on the counter and pulled the splinter out with ease, not even wincing from the pain.
“It’ll be a waste, Levi,” [Name] said softly, flicking the splinter off to the side. His wounded hand hovered over the glass and he formed a fist making the blood flow faster down into the cup. Then he focused on healing his wound, watching as it closed up not a trace of a scar.
[Name] raised the half full cup and swirled the bright red blood of his around. He watched the slight glitter it gave off and smiled. His blood was still pure despite him drinking from humans. “You have served me well, so let me serve you just this once,” [Name] spoke as he walked to Levi who gave him a glare of resentment.
“No,” Levi scowled and kept his nose covered, “I will not drink your blood.”
“Are you afraid, Levi?” [Name] asked with concern, the glass still held out to the black haired male. He was standing before Levi, the hybrid ignoring his gaze and [Name] smacked his lips. His anger getting the best of him, “Fine then, I'll force that human I have held in the dungeons to drink my blood. Maybe he’ll be more intrigued by my offer than you. Or I’ll ask that crazy scientist to have a taste. Both those humans are prisoners to the truth, they would want to see what happens, don’t you think?”
Levi hardened his gaze and [Name] could hear the beating heart of the shorter male. A dangerous glint flittered in his eyes and [Name] knew Levi was not going to watch another human die from drinking royalty’s blood. So Levi held his hand out and [Name] smirked with deviousness, “And he succumbs to the Devil.”

ATTACK ON TITAN
Plot: Where Levi experiences what he needs to be. No titans, no fighting, just baby monitors
Pairing: Levi Ackerman x reader
+ Modern day baby
Tumblr media
Levi stared at the small glowing screen in his hands, still struggling to comprehend all the fantastical technology of your world. To think he could see and speak to his infant son across the hall with just this device...it was marvelous.
And a little unnerving. Levi was accustomed to more tangible methods of communication. But he supposed he had a lot to learn in order to keep up in this advanced era.
Clearing his throat, Levi raised the “phone” closer to his mouth. Really, it’s the two-way talk baby monitor. “Arie?" He called tentatively, the name still new and cherished on his tongue. There was a pause before the screen’s image moved.
Levi's breath caught at the sight of his son sitting up in the crib. His and yours. Dark tufts of hair like his own, but with your eyes. It still amazed Levi this peaceful domesticity was his life now. No more fighting titans or watching comrades die. Just quiet nights with his beloved family, safe and whole.
"You should be sleeping, little one,” Levi chided gently. The boy gurgled in response, gazing around as if searching for the source of his father's voice.
Levi's heart swelled.
"I know it's frightening, being alone in the dark,” he continued softly. "But your mother and I are right here. We'll never leave you." Levi wasn’t sure if the baby could understand his words. He hoped so. Either way, Levi would be here to show Arie come morn. And you, tonight.

Levi x Reader
Angst | Modern - Soulmate AU | 7k words
Tumblr media
Summary : being dead since the 19th century, your 200-year-old house in the countryside had been sold to Levi Ackerman. He stumbles upon your old diary and reads it, only to slowly fall in love with you as he continues to read the pages.
Tumblr media
Who would have known love could exist between two people separated not only by centuries, but also by death itself ?
Tumblr media
" —in the next life, where there is no marriage, but where souls find each other through intimacy, may I attain true love. "
Tumblr media
Characters: Levi, Kuchel, Kenny, Hange, Erwin, Miche, Rod
Content Warning: cancer, implied domestic violence, implied suicide, misogyny
AO3:   https://t.co/B7Jq6k5q0v
Note: I made the reader a feminist because I don't think there are much fics that include feminist political themes. Also, I usually use they/them pronouns for Hange, but I will be using she/her pronouns in this work.

“Here are the keys. Enjoy your new home, Mr. Ackerman.”
 ㅤ
The real estate agent had an air of arrogance, one that Levi Ackerman couldn’t help but detest. Caught up in his own thoughts, Levi barely noticed how the man’s eyes were far too big for his head.
 ㅤ
Ah yes, real estate agent Rod Reiss, whose egotistic demeanor struck an odd contrast to his shabby appearance. That seemed to be an enigma to Levi. However, the Ackerman didn't care to figure out which of those two qualities was more irksome.
 ㅤ
He just wanted to get the transaction over with and move into his newly-bought home.
The house stood tall with its Victorian style architecture, surrounded by a lush forest and lonely hills. The rural areas of Paradis were the last place on Earth he had expected to live in. However, this had been his mother’s wish since they had gotten the news that she had cancer—to grow old in a home she loved.
Kuchel wasn't gravely ill, but Levi still wanted to grant her wish. An hour drive from here to his job in the city was a small price to pay in exchange for his mother’s comfort and happiness.
The house seemed even lovelier than it did in the pictures. And Kuchel soon felt as though she had lived here for years. Levi had always been her son, but now she saw something new in him: he had grown into a man who was kind and sweet.
 ㅤ
The real estate agent seemed hesitant, but nevertheless, was still determined to speak up. “Also, keep everything the (l/n) family left behind. Their belongings come with the house you paid for. If I may have a say, put it up for auction. Century-old antiques cost a fortune!”
 ㅤ
“So we’d have to throw all that ye olden times junk away ourselves?” Levi mumbled more to himself than to Rod Reiss—who was now taking his leave after successfully selling the estate.
 ㅤ
Kuchel had always adored antiques, so she didn't quite appreciate her son's rude remark. “It isn’t junk! I even heard Kenny say there was a piano in the living room. Maybe you could get back into playing.”
 ㅤ
A comment was then heard from the mentioned uncle, Kenny, who was quite displeased with the lack of help in unloading their stuff from the van. “Oi, what ya waiting for, runt? Let’s get settled in.”
 ㅤ
“Keep calling me a runt and you’ll be sleeping in the attic, old man.”
The castle-like detail of their new home felt like being part of the romance and history of a by-gone era. From the vibrant flowery wallpaper, to the steeply-pitched roofs. Levi didn’t mind the design though, it made him happy to see how this house had captured his mother’s heart.
His only concern was the thick layers of dust which covered everything in sight; it was a depressing dirty grey—contrasting the elaborately decked out home that reveled in its bright colors.
 “Filthy.”
There it was again, Levi’s obsession with cleanliness. Kuchel giggled at the thought, it had become an inside joke within the family. “Yes, filthy indeed. Just like your uncle. I had to put a handkerchief over my nose the entire ride so I wouldn’t smell the three-days-no-shower stench.”
 ㅤ
The subject of their conversation then appeared in the room, “No shit, I have been blessed with the misfortune of calling you a sister.”
 ㅤ
“Kenny, when was the last time you took a bath? And I’m not even trying to be offensive, you really do stink.”
 ㅤ
“Aight aight, I get your point, gonna wash up when I’m done cleaning. I’ll mop the kitchen and dining. Levi, you do the rooms and the attic.”
Though the shorter man thought the division of tasks was unfair, he decided to remain quiet and nod in agreement.
The attic was, by far, the most interesting part of the house, and much to his dismay, also the dustiest.
Levi made his way through the junk, broken furniture, and trinkets. It was like reading the story of somebody’s life, he thought, as he gazed at all these things that had been used once, that had been part of every day in the house below.
Someone had savored each page of the books on the shelf, or maybe someone used to watch the minutes of the grandfather clock tick with interest. But those people were long dead, or gone away, and now the oddments of their lives were piled up here, forgotten.
It was a bittersweet thought.
The man decided to start with the bookshelf that expanded across the wall. Halfway through dusting, he spotted something in the corner of his eye. It was a book with a gleaming golden spine, reflecting the sun’s rays that welcomed itself in from the windows.
Levi was an apathetic individual by nature. He didn’t particularly care about things that weren’t his own business. But there was an odd vibe to the mentioned book; it was so inviting.
A tingling in his bones warned him that he shouldn’t open it, but his curiosity placated him, driving him onward against his instincts.
The dust beneath its aging covers represented how patient time was—how the book allowed dust particles to hide its golden touches until the waiting time was over.
Without any further ado, he flipped it open. Eyes widening at realization, the book was actually a journal.
(y/n) (l/n)
1821
“What an ugly name.” Levi snorted, never really understanding parents and their poor naming choices.
Dear reader, I dare you not to turn the page if you refuse to read of a lousy, miserable life. Yet, if you do wish to seek such knowledge even after warning, then must I say you are one nosy fellow!
His interest in the book—or more accurately, his interest in the journal—immediately vanished as he didn’t want to snoop into a random dead girl’s business, into your lousy and miserable business.
He reckoned it was going to be about boy problems anyway, which was what most women he knew in high school wrote about in their stupid diaries. And surely, that wasn’t any interesting.
However, a thought abruptly entered his mind.  In many ways, diaries chart unmapped territory, especially diaries of those who had lived in the past. Levi wondered what lives were like before—to get a sense of the attitudes, opinions, and beliefs that motivated individuals of a different era.
Written on a regular basis, journals provide commentary on life as it is lived. And this sense of immediacy pulled Levi in and fueled his curiosity in reading about the past in a direct, unfiltered way.
Making the final decision to indeed snoop into your business, he flipped the pages, eyes following the words of what seemed to be the first entry:
12th of January, 1821
Last night at dinner, I tried to convince father that I am not meant for marriage, and marriage is not meant for me. My husband-to-be’s ignorance is only one reason in the long list of his shortcomings. Yet, there was no possibility in changing father’s mind.
Today, I had been wandering in the leafless shrubbery an hour in the morning. The cold winter wind had brought with it clouds so somber, and a rain so penetrating, that further outdoor activity should be forbidden. But that did not matter, I needed to get away from that cursed household, even if the winter were to freeze me with its icy breath.
“How melodramatic.” Though he pitied the misogynistic situation you found yourself troubled in, Levi couldn’t help but cringe at the thought that he was indeed right—it was about boy problems.
The man took a peek at the outside world through the high windows, taking in the sight of the orange sunset.
Kenny and Kuchel were probably waiting for him downstairs, wondering what was taking him so long when dinner was soon approaching. He closed your journal, and placed it back on the shelf.
Letting out a tired sigh, he had barely started on the reason behind why he even came here in the first place. Cleaning the attic would have to wait another day then.
Tumblr media
At Kuchel’s check-up session two months ago, it was discovered that she was terminally ill, and her cancer was incurable. The only reason she was still taking palliative chemotherapy was for less suffering.
Kenny had never prayed a lot. He hoped hard, he wished hard, but he didn't pray. Yet when he discovered his sister’s impending death, he prayed to whatever deity that was up there—hoping for her recovery even when there was nothing else to hope for.
But hope is what keeps us going, right? Without it, the struggle against cynicism and loss of spirit would be greater than the slow, inevitable death of cancer. So Kenny held onto that little hope in his heart and supported his sister at every step of the way.
Though, what he didn’t support was Kuchel’s decision of hiding the truth from Levi.
“The runt is going to find out sooner or later. For fuck’s sake, you are dying. Don’t you think Levi deserves to know that? ”
“First of all, stop calling my son a runt. Second, I will tell him. Not now, but soon.” The frail woman took a slow and long sip from her tea, eyeing her brother from the rim of the cup. She knew Kenny was right, but still refused to listen to his argument anyway.
“Soon? When you’re already on your deathbed?”
A pair of approaching footsteps were heard. Kenny immediately zipped his mouth shut while Kuchel greeted her son. “Good morning, sweetheart. Did you sleep well?”
“Good morning.“
“Ahh fuck it, I can’t take it anymore. Levi, your mother has something to tell you.” All attention quickly drifted to the tall male, who was annoyed by how his sister was skirting around the issue they had been discussing only a minute ago.
The tension in the room grew thicker by each passing second, especially when Levi demanded to know what this was all about, “What’s going on?”
“I’m just. Aah…” The frail woman’s dilemma had not went unnoticed by the two men. She was clearly buying time, “I’m just upset. Chemotherapy has been causing my hair to fall out. It’s just really upsetting… especially for an ex-model.”
Part of Levi was relieved to hear that the news wasn’t as serious as he thought it would be, but he still couldn’t help but feel bad for his mother, “I see. Would you feel better if I bought you a wig?”
“Yes, I’d very much appreciate that. Thank you, sweetheart.”
Kenny rolled eyes at his family’s exchange of words, not pleased with Kuchel’s dishonesty.
“If not today, I’ll get you the wig by tomorrow. I’m going now. See you later.” With that, the young adult left for his 10 am shift at work.
“When are you going to tell him?” Inquired Kenny, choosing to speak only once he was certain his nephew was out of earshot.
“When I am ready.”
Hange fixed her glasses and wore a sinister grin, eager to annoy Levi so early in the morning, “Good morning, how’s my favorite sour face?”
“Never miss a good chance to shut up.” He prayed that Hange would someday finally learn to appreciate peaceful silence, but clearly, today wasn’t that day just yet.
“Now is definitely not a good chance to shut up. Someone has to be responsible enough to fill in the duty of annoying you.”
“Makes sense. It does seem like the only aspect you’re capable of being responsible at.”
“Okay, rude. How’s your mom-“ The bespectacled brunette had barely finished her sentence when Levi pinched her nose. “Ow!”
“Here's your nose, I found it in my business.”
Levi then shifted his gaze to the two familiar blond men approaching—who seemingly have heard the banter between him and Hange.
Scratching his nose, “No, really, Levi. how is Mrs. Ackerman?” Miche hasn’t heard of Kuchel in a long time. since Levi refused to bring the topic up, so he was curious as to how she had been coping up with cancer.
“I thought the years we’ve spent working together would grant you the knowledge that my mother’s name is Ms. Ackerman, not Mrs. Ackerman.”
“My apologies.”
The shorter fellow ran a hand through his black hair, letting out a sigh. “And about mom—she’s alright, though the more intensive course of chemotherapy has been kicking her ass.”
An awkward silence descended for a moment. Kuchel was always a sensitive topic, not to mention, Levi’s crass choice of words made the entire situation more uncomfortable.
Erwin finally decided to contribute to the conversation and break the growing tension, “I’m sorry to hear that, we hope her chemotherapy will be worth it in the long run.” The tall blond also cued for their small group to walk along to their respective desks, where piles upon piles of paperwork awaited.
Though Levi would never verbally admit it to his mother, he was starting to get attached to the rural landscape. There was a sense of serenity from the sight of swaying grasslands during his drive home from work. Maybe the countryside wasn’t so bad after all.
“I’m home.” He hung his coat on the rack and walked to the kitchen, where he assumed his mother would be. It was a rather amusing scene before Levi: Kuchel hitting Kenny with kitchen utensils as he tried to sneak a piece of meat into his mouth.
The frail woman’s facial expression turned from threatening to gentle as she heard her son’s approaching footsteps. “Oh, hello sweetheart. Did you just arrive?
“Yeah. Although I wish I had gotten home sooner to see more of Kenny getting assaulted with a spatula.”
A pair of eyes rolled in annoyance, “Not funny. And before I forget, there had been some sounds from the attic. Probably mice. Check it, will ya? I’d prefer you throw it away, but if you’d like a new addition to your small circle of friends, I won’t judge.”
“Hmm. just say you don’t have the balls to check it yourself.”
“Boys, please mind your language!”
Once more, the attic had an eerie abandoned feeling to it. The very clearness of silence drew an intense feeling Levi couldn’t shake off. The air around him hummed with an energy that was foreign yet nostalgic.
And there it was again, the familiar book resting on the shelf. Its shiny golden spine, a contrast to the dimly lit room. It was a mysterious journal really, seeming to know secrets he didn’t, inviting him to take another peak. After all, the unknown draws people in—
No. He came here for one purpose only. And that was to search for the source of the sounds. That and that only.
However, it doesn’t take a genius to recognize when someone is being pushed by a circumstance to do something. And for Levi, this was it. Destiny’s (or whatever you call it) interventions can sometimes be read as an invitation to explore.
With that said, the man abandoned his original purpose and flipped your diary open, picking up at where he last left off.

Elliott Dickens, the man I am expected to marry. The main reason why father wants me to wed him is because he is a duke in Marley.
I don’t even know a single thing about dukes! Except maybe for the fact that dukes are the highest-ranking title among nobles, and that they own large amounts of inherited property.
But I have no interest in them, their wealth, nor their corrupt practices. Moreover, I have no interest in moving away to Elliott’s hometown.
People are beginning to flock from rural areas to large urban locations like Marley. Though I cannot blame these people for wanting more job opportunities in the city, but I love it here in Paradis! I do not intend of leaving this province behind.
This is where I grew up. Every spot here is familiar history.
I know I can't own a prairie, a meadow, nor a mountainside. But keeping the beauty of Paradis a secret somehow makes it mine.
Only here may you see nature revealing herself in all her glory. A poet can write of it, a painter can paint of it, but neither can reproduce the same air of reality that sinks deep into the soul of the spectator.
Both my eyes and mind are delighted in this place I’ve known as home.
There was a pause, then Levi’s lips stretched into a smile. You were right. You convinced him that Paradis was indeed a place of solace.
It was refreshing to look across vast spaces of grassland, to lift one’s eyes with delight, to feel the peace that rests on lonely hills. Levi had only been living here for a short while, but Paradis was already starting to feel like home to him.
This is where he had learned to appreciate silence in a world that never stops talking.
His entire life, Levi Ackerman had fallen into a naiveté where he looked at the world based solely on what his physical senses can ascertain. But once he saw life through your eyes, through your own words, perhaps he was wrong.
The world perceived by our senses is different from the world perceived through our essence.
Perhaps Levi misjudged you, you weren’t as shallow as he initially thought you were.
Snapping out of his reverie, he started to look for the rodent Kenny was pertaining to. The man made a mental note to come back here and continue reading the journal… and to clean as well, since he wasn’t able to do that last time.

Dear reader, I hope you had a lovely day, good for you because I did not.
Elliott told me, “Do you know when it is no misfortune for a young lady like you to lose her good name? It’s when a man like myself gives her a better one.”
What an audacious remark! Bold of him to say that to me when is last name is Dickens. I refuse to associate myself with a God-awful title that sounds like the filthy thing between a man’s legs.
ㅤㅤ
Forgive me Shakespeare, but I beg to differ from Romeo & Juliet: “What's in a name? That which we call a rose by any other name would still smell as sweet.” Everything’s in a name; and I refuse the lousy title of ‘Mrs. Dickens’!
The raven-haired man snorted, Dickens was indeed a horrendous name.
Over the past weeks, Levi often felt like a voyeur sneakily reading your private writings—spending a decent amount of his personal time trying to decipher your handwriting and piecing stories together from your diary.
Funnily enough, he roughly knew of your existence before; he never knew of your name and life, because you were an individual from an era he would never get to live in. Yet here he was, seemingly the only person to have ever known you in such an unfiltered way.
He liked it. He liked the feeling of being a confidant to all your secrets.
‘Mrs. Dickens’, a big no. I refuse to inherit that title, moreover, I refuse to marry him, and any other man like him.
I am convinced that a husband will only ruin me, for in this society, women struggle to shape a life and sense of identity outside of marriage.
So, I must seek wisdom and improvement from books, as knowledge is a tool to reinvent myself!
These recent feminist political movements have deeply inspired me, and I have decided to devote a great deal of time and energy to recording my thoughts on them in writing books and diaries. Women want equality in education, labor, electoral rights, and opinion in marriage.
My pursuit of knowledge is linked with feelings of self-worth. It is a quest to remodel myself, not so I could better serve the men in my life, but so that I could better serve myself.
A mind so deep and a will so strong could never have failed to give Levi a peek on these excursions over the domains of literature and feminism that reflect on your mental prowess.
With the more he flipped the pages, with the more he got to know you, he found himself squeezed under a new astonishment.
He liked it. He liked you.
He liked you to the point that he even refused to cleaned the attic. Because by dusting off, it felt like he was erasing your footsteps, allowing your final touches upon these dusty, old things to vanish, like there was no more trace of you in this house.
Tumblr media
Levi sighed. He’d spoken about you to his mother. He told her about your hobbies, your adventures, and that you’re a wanderer who knows nothing of borders and cares nothing for rules in a misogynistic and unfair society.
He told her almost everything, but nothing about you being the dead ex-owner of this house... that little detail was to remain a closely guarded secret to himself.
”When will I meet her? This girl you talk so much of. I bet she’s a lovely lady.”
“Ah, about that… it’s just, I have no hope of ever calling her mine.”
“Why so? You’re a handsome and kind young man.”
Levi so badly wanted to tell his mother why he couldn’t introduce you to her. However, he didn’t want Kuchel to think he had a loose screw and needed his head for examination if he tried to explain this strange circumstance of romance—being in love with the dead.
“I better go and sort out my paperwork for tomorrow.” He tried, attempting to avoid the topic, but the older woman could see right through him.
She grabbed his arm just before he could leave. Kuchel looked like she wanted to say something important, yet the defeated look in her grey eyes seemed to convey that she had decided against it.
“Make sure to get some rest, okay sweetheart? I don’t want you staying up all night long again.”
Responding with a soft smile, Levi left the kitchen and made his way upstairs, leaving his mother to simply sigh in dismay at the fact that her son was clearly keeping something hidden from her.
But she couldn’t blame him though, she herself was keeping secrets too.
Levi found himself in the attic again, where there was a feeling of safety. A calm sanctuary, a dependable sense of home.
All these ye-olden-times junk, were filled with memories, filled with faded echoes that had ebbed and flowed into the walls over the years. Maybe that’s why the attic felt so homely. It was full of history and love.
Curiosity was difficult to satisfy; it was a force of nature that looked for answers even before asking questions. Curiosity had been unfairly maligned and characterized as a dangerous pursuit, as we were always taught that curiosity killed the cat.
 ㅤ
But Levi knew better. Curiosity created connections. It cultivated wonder, inquiry, and delight. It sprouted the desire to try, test, and tweak.
He had been reading wisdom from a diary he formerly did not want to read. He had been finding beauty in places he formerly did not want to look in. And he had learned so much from journeys he formerly did not want to take.
It made him wonder: how much of our lives are just luck and good timing, and how much of it was actually choice? How could it be that tiny serendipitous events could change so much of us?
He felt like each choice he had made along the way was part of something bigger than himself. Fate has a funny way of intervening just when we think we have everything in order. And as he thought about all the events that led him to this place, it struck him: so much of life is just blind luck and random chance. With every twist and turn, our lives take us in different directions: you never know what's around the corner.
 ㅤ
Levi understood that the world was governed by randomness. That's why he pursued his curiosity with passion, because he understood that chance favored the prepared mind.ㅤ
The short man rummaged through the attic, looking for more answers about you from outside the journal. He came across what seemed to be a pile of belongings, covered by an old, dusty cloth. Yanking it off, the sudden movement sent a vortex of dust into the previously stagnant air.
And there it was, a portrait of you.
It reflected the perfect image of your figure, with all the brilliant picturesqueness of your beauty. It was strange, the way in which you looked at Levi, looking so steadfastly at him through the medium of the oil painting. It’s like you were actually there, watching him with curious eyes.
The power of your beauty held him fast, seizing him and filling a gap in his essence. There was grace in your every feature; it sparkled in your deep eyes, lurked in the corner of your lips, and even in the rich tone of your skin.
It was nice to finally put a face to the name, Levi thought.
The more he got to know you, the more he realized that you tick in all the boxes for the qualities he never knew he wanted in a woman.
However, all of this was depressing. Because no matter how much he knew and liked you, he would never have the chance to call you his.
3rd of September, 1821
I always tell myself that I would rather be happy than be dignified. That I can live alone, and I need not to sell my soul to marriage.
But sometimes, my mind slips, gradually and subconsciously. And there is an involuntary mental process that conditions me to accept reality despite my desperate efforts to never give in to societal pressure.
Once dreams wrangle with reality, we must rub our eyes open and wake up. The heavy weight of my circumstances has yet to fully sink in, but I am certain of one thing:
I am to marry Elliott Dickens, duke of Marley.
Everything moves so fast. My life will rush from heaven to hell in two weeks, when the wedding will take place. And the future will always happen, no matter how much I try to run away from it.
The decision has been made, and I am going to be a new woman soon, I am going to be Mrs. Dickens. And I will be leaving everything behind, including this diary.
To write my heart out—it was freedom to a degree I have not experienced much of before.
But did that mean all my freedom had been used up? Because at the moment, I am unsure of what to write… How strange it is that when I feel most fervently, it is as though my hands and tongue are tied; I cannot express myself!
This is going to be the last entry, thank you for making it this far with me.
Last entry?
A sense of sorrow set deep inside him. The persistent feeling of emptiness practically had Levi forced into submission and taken hostage by it. All he could do was stare into space, letting it wash over him.
Was this it? Despite all your efforts, you still chose to marry the duke?
Then what was the point of writing? Wasn’t it for silent revolution? For feminism? For freeing yourself?
Or was it only meant for catharsis?
Maybe it was. After all, writing was meant for those whose thoughts wouldn’t fit their limited mind. So, you used the power of words as a tool to pour your soul on paper. And Levi knew that.
Levi did not think of you as future Mrs. Dickens, a soon-to-be aristocratic wife of a duke. To him, you were simply you. For he knew you better than anyone else could have. He knew you were just a lonely girl, waiting to be read by someone, hoping that you would make sense to at least one person.
He yearned to stay in this in-between place. Where he was both in modern times and in the past. Where romance existed everywhere and nowhere all at once.
And just as you had written these entries for him to read, he knew with unshakable certainty that in those little moments, even in a dream, were more real and better than anything he’d known.
How beautiful it was to replace the world inside him with someone else’s reality. The way you allowed him to look into your deepest fears and desires, your artful poems, your treasured secrets, your worst nightmares, and your most beautiful dreams.
Your writings unraveled emotions inside him, uncovered new parts of him that were hidden, and breathed a new him into existence with each word that was written.
It made him feel alive and vulnerable. It made him feel human.
It made Levi feel so much that sometimes he wished all your poems he were written for him, because his heart, with its hooks, was looking for something—or someone—to love.
Tumblr media
It had been an awfully long day at work for Levi. Piles upon piles of documents never seemed to lessen. It also didn’t help that all he could think of was you, keeping his mind away from successfully accomplishing work.
He was just about to enter his car when a small bell-like sound from his phone was heard.
Clicking his tongue, he mumbled a quiet ‘what now’ out of frustration. It was a text from Kenny, which was weird since Kenny rarely contacted him.
KENNY
5:27 PM
“Where the fuck are you?”
KENNY
Frowning, Levi continued to read the message.
5:28 PM
“It's your mother. The doctor is here at home, but they say it’s likely she wouldn’t make it through the night.”
A heavy weight settled in his stomach. His heart pounded out of control.
Shit.
Kenny’s words kept playing on his mind like a broken record as he drove as fast as he could to get home, not caring about beating the red light. He mentally cursed at the fact that it took nearly an hour to get back to the countryside from work.
The sun dipped below the horizon—the fleeting colors of dusk beginning to fade away—indicating the end of another day, and the end of another life.
Upon parking the vehicle, Levi didn’t even bother closing the car door as he ran into the house and up the stairs.
Dread increasing with every step, he saw Kenny and a short lady—most probably the doctor—standing in front of his mother’s room by the end of the hall, as if they were waiting for his arrival.
Before the man could even yank the door open, he was stopped by the doctor. “I assume you’re Levi, Kuchel’s son? I’m Petra Ral, an oncologist from the specialist cancer team of your mother. May I have a minute?”
It took everything in him to not scold at the ginger woman. What could possibly be so important that it couldn’t wait after he’d check up on his mother?
Despite the glare Levi was shooting at her, Petra continued her words, trying to phrase her message in a concise fashion, “The cancer in her breasts have spread to her lymphatic system, her lungs, liver, and bones-“
“Just get to the point. So it’s incurable?”
“I’m sorry Mr. Ackerman. There’s nothing more we can do about it.” There was a brief pause. Heavily sighing, the doctor continued, “As you know, according to her latest consultations these past months, the more intense chemotherapy sessions haven’t been successful so we-“
“As I know? I wasn’t informed of this at all.” Levi shifted his gaze to his uncle, sending him an icy glare, “Kenny, you knew about this all along, haven’t you? That the cancer was terminal…”
“It was Kuchel’s wish that I had to respect.”
The younger Ackerman hasn’t even fully grasped the reality of his mother’s imminent death, and suddenly this bombshell was dropped on him? That he was kept in the dark all this time? He knew her condition wasn’t getting better, but he hadn’t expected death to be knocking on her door so early.
He took a deep breath and reached for the door's handle, emotionally preparing himself from what he would be witnessing on the other side.
Finally entering the room, “Mom,” Levi’s eyes had softened at the sight before him, “Why didn’t you tell me?” He questioned right away, wasting no time. There was no malice in his voice, only pain.
He knew why she kept this from him, but he still wanted to hear it from her.
It was a good thing that Kuchel had closed her eyes, for if she had seen her son’s sorrowful expression, she might not have answered. “You’ve been under a lot of pressure at work, and I couldn’t bring myself to tell you.”
“That’s irrelevant, you should have told me so I don’t have to take this all in just one night!”
A few heartbeats were spent in silence. Both of them knew this would be their last night together, and the thought itself had them struggling to look for the right words to say in their limited time.
There was a knot in her throat which seemed impossible to swallow, “Do you… do you forgive me..?”
That was it; that was Levi’s breaking point. He couldn’t keep his normally stoic façade anymore, the tears that threatened to roll down his cheeks finally fell. He hurriedly knelt at the bedside and his arms clasped around her tightly. If hugs healed people, he’d hold her all night.
“Of course I do! I love you.”
She smiled tenderly, though it was the saddest smile she had worn.
“You have been a good son—the best even,” his dying mother said, “and all the love in your heart will help you along in the world.” One last rattling breath escaped Kuchel Ackerman’s lips as she was greeted by everlasting death.
He kissed his dead mother’s hand and wept bitterly. Then, he lifted his feet to leave her bedroom.
The rusty iron hinges of the door creaked loudly as Levi swung it open. He gave his uncle a knowing look: the look of grief.
“I see.” was all Kenny muttered as the younger Ackerman hastily walked away to his own bedroom.
He cried for hours, head under the pillow. And even in those hours, Levi could not find solace in tears. Overcome by weariness, darkness was finally kissing the edge of his vision and he surrendered himself to sleep.
ㅤㅤ
It was a strange dream. He saw his mother well and strong again, and heard her laugh as she always used to laugh when she was happy. And then appeared another woman—one with familiar deep eyes. It was you.
He was confused. Why? Why were you and his mother standing before him?
You stretched your arms out to give him a warm embrace. Levi didn’t care if this was all just a product of his imagination, he crashed himself against you, wanting to savor every second.
It was a foreign feeling to be in your arms. Foreign, yet so nostalgic, so familiar, so… right.
“I wish I were granted a good life, for life is a precious gift, almost too great to understand. Levi, thank you. Thank you for the gift of your love. It made me stay alive even after I am gone.”
His hug tightened as your words registered in his head. Whatever this was, dream or reality, he just wanted to hold you, to feel you. You brushed his hair reassuringly, continuing with what you were saying, “And to think that this earthly affection will only continue to grow in another life, throughout eternity. I can barely conceive of it!”
The man was speechless. He wanted to say something, anything, but not a single word came from him.
Levi shifted his gaze to his mother, silently searching for an explanation to this surreal circumstance. “Son, see what a charming girl you’ve won.”
He gazed back at you, nothing but sincerity in his eyes. All it took was one look, and both of you knew. He pulled you in and pressed your mouth over his, claiming your lips so soft.
So this is love, huh? And suddenly, Levi was just a man with the taste of honey upon his lips.
He awakens from his slumber, and the pleasing sight was gone. Kuchel was gone. You were gone.
Tears were running down his cold cheeks, yet his lips were warm. Wait, could that mean… could that mean that the kiss was real?
Glancing to the clock: 8 in the morning. It seems as though he had slept through the night, giving temporary rest to his embittered soul. Though, he knew that the grief in his heart would not let him sleep for the next days to come.
Recalling his dream, the man immediately got onto his feet with a specific destination in mind—the attic.
As always, the dusty particles in the air reflected the sun-rays, looking like pixie dust. He walked farther into the attic, recognizing it as a place of enchantment.
Although he considered himself a logical person, he believed there existed a kind of magic in the books placed on the shelf, particularly in your diary. Secrets are magic after all, and years upon years that they've been written down on a book that had gotten dusty with age has added to its power.
Between the aging covers—represented by black letters on sheets of paper—were voices from the past. Voices that reached into the future, into Levi's own heart, and echoed in the walls of his mind.
He pulled the familiar diary from the shelf that expanded over the wall, hoping that despite your farewell, there was still going to be another entry, another piece for him to read, and another kiss of comfort to his writhing heart.
It was as if someone had literally knocked on the door; but in this case, his heart. With heavy anxiety, he opened to the part where he left off. Levi was certain that whatever deity or god was up there, they surely heard his heart's desperate pleas. Because much to his luck, there indeed was another page left unread.
14th of December, 1824
To whoever is reading this: we meet again at last! It is the first time in years that I have visited Paradis and since I have picked up a pen to write in this journal. Yet, this will also be the last time I do so.
All I wanted was to live a life where I could be me; I had no need for material possessions, money, nor dowry. And in all of my intercourse with society, there was nothing that made me feel as if I belonged to it. I never understood people very well, and they never seemed to understand me either.
I write to understand myself as much as to be understood, but who am I kidding? Who else is ever going to read these personal writings other than myself?
Even my own husband would not lend me some of his minutes to understand me.
Elliott had not much affection for his own mother and sisters, then who am I to think I will make an exception to this behavior? Every nerve in my body feared him. Our servants were seemingly blind on the subject: pretending they never saw him strike nor abuse me. No one wanted to offend the duke by taking my part against him.
But dear reader, I married him.
Oh my poor heart, only death could release me from a life-sentence of agony in his hands! And the only regret I will have in dying is that it is not for love.
In the next world, where there is no marriage, but where souls find each other through intimacy, may I attain true love.
What?
Instead of the familiar coal-tar ink, the bottom half of the page was covered in splatters of blood—the ink of death. Levi’s breath caught in his throat as he tried not to tear at the sight. He wanted to look away, needed to bring his eyes away, but he couldn’t.
Flipping the next pages, it was all the same: empty. He knew what that meant.
You had long been dead, but he felt it was as if you had just died in his arms that night. “You too? How the fuck have you managed to reach so far inside my heart?”
The love you shared with him was liquid, not literally of course: you reminded him that sometimes you were a friend, sometimes a teacher, and sometimes, even a soulmate. Levi used to laugh at the idea of soulmates—a supernatural concept not intended for mortals. But when you bridged the gap between life and death, perhaps soulmates weren’t a silly thing after all.
You found solace in this diary, and he found himself in your memories. You kissed the words unto his lips and skin, and his heart always heard and understood.
a like & reblog would be appreciated <3

Game Start! The Seven Lords: Those Who Remain
@pastelhologram asked: Wait. What about The demon bros reaction to Mc being the Person lilith fell in love with. Like maybe an au where he's not Related to lilith but instead he's the person she fell for. Even better if They're first impression of Mc is that he didn't deserve Lilith, but as time goes on, They start seeing what lilith saw.
There we are, got that up and running for ya'. Gotta say though, I'm surprised you managed to find such an old cabinet. Feels like its been here since the 9th century or something, haha.
(Ayyy hey we go! I really should just keep splitting these into parts by default since I nearly always get carried away lol. Part 1 for today, and part 2 soon! Hope you enjoy!)
Everburning Candle(Part 1) (Obey Me! Older Brothers x Male/Masc! Mc/Reader)
Content Warnings: Mc/Reader uses he/him pronouns. Spoilers for Pretty much all of season one (Chapters 1-20), since pacts, reasoning behind certain pacts, and Lilith are discussed. I hope you don't mind me adding a few of my personal headcanons! Mostly Hurt/Comfort overall. Very light angst for today. Levi's part has some blood, mostly just a broken nose.
(You ready for a long one? 'Cause its gonna be a long one lmao. If I notice any mistakes after posting, or if you inform me of any, I will correct them as soon as I can. Shoutout to the Luci and Levi simps in the discord for helping me write their respective parts. There is a 60% chance I may rewrite Mammon's part again ajdieff)

"The Human World was full of many tales, some more truthful than others. The tale of the Ancient Wanderer was not one well known to many, as the story had become more and more fragmented over the years. There was a time that many people who had met the Wanderer had come together to write a complete novelization of their individual encounters. Sadly, the evening that would make its 10th anniversary of existence was the same night it was stolen, and the library it was stored within burned. Only inaccurate copies remained, as many of the gathered writers from all over the world had passed peacefully not to long after the book's creation. The only detail that remained from the original story was the scent that followed the Wanderer, what would be known in the modern era as honeysuckle and lavender. With the book gone, that left the Wanderer as the only bearer of the true story. No one knows where this mysterious being is now, or if he even existed in the first place. Many historians believe it to be a simple shared delusion, or perhaps another fanatical story similar to more common mythos. Some had gone as far as to compare them to the biblical figure of Cain."
Your gloved hands closed the thick history textbook as you finished, setting it aside on the mahogany table in front of you. "So, do you think you can remember all that for the next exam?" This prompted a sigh of disdain from the individual beside you. "Mc this stuff is way to hard! Why can't you just let me copy off of you? Everyone knows you're the top of the class!" A chuckle bubbled up from your throat, and you reached over to rustle your classmate's hair. "That's exactly why you can't copy me. Now, you keep practicing, okay? I've been tutoring all day and I really just want to go home and take a good long rest." Their pleading eyes softened, before finally sighing and letting you head home.
Perhaps if the library corner the two of you had studied in did not carry the heavy smell of dried mango and energy drinks, your classmate may have noticed the scent of lavender and honeysuckle waft through the room as you left.
Once you reached your apartment, you quickly closed and locked the door before slumping against it. After throwing off your gloves, you reached a little ways down your shirt, just enough to pull of the necklace that was hidden underneath. The preserved feather was lighter than air and almost looked as if it were floating in your palm. Tears pricked the corners of your eyes as you ran your fingertips along its vane. You did not wipe them away however, allowing them to fall as the memory of a flower field filled your mind. You had lost track of how many years it had been since the day you had first laid out in the small forest clearing, but your mind could never forget one clear detail.
Lilith.
You had never been one to believe in love at first sight, but when the strange woman had kneeled beside your sleeping form you had instantly become enthralled in her. She had this sort of overwhelming glow about her, as if she were one of the very Goddesses many families in your town served and worshiped. Yet, though her appearance may had drawn you in, it had been the rest of her that bound your heartstrings to her fingertips.
The two of you spent many days hidden away in your secret flower patch, giggling about how each other had managed to slip away from their respective families for the day. Your meeting were not long at first, sometimes lasting minutes at a time before the woman you'd come to know as Lilith would return to her family. But minutes turned to hours, and in some cases hours would turn to days. Your heartstrings would flutter each time she drew closer and closer to you, and your heart nearly gave out when she'd first ran her fingertips through her hair.
You remembered the day she'd asked you to keep two secrets. You had simple hummed and nodded, head resting on her lap as she gently stroked it. "Swear to me you won't tell as soul." Your eyelids fluttered open at the seriousness in her tone. Her nervous expression stared back at you, awaiting a response. "I swear on my life, Lilith." You spoke, lacing your hands into hers and giving them a reassuring squeeze. She took a deep breath, before speaking once more. "I'm an Angel, Mc. A being from the Celestial Realm." Confusion crossed your face, which Lilith took as a queue to set you head down in the grass and stand up.
An enchanting glow covered her form as you sat up, blinding you momentarily. As your eyes adjusted, you found her standing before you once more. Her eyes peeked over at you behind her elegant white wings, a nervous wobble taking over the halo above her head. Wordlessly you stood up, approaching her slowing and gently parting her wings enough to envelop her in a loving embrace. "You're beautiful, Lilith. Thank you for telling me your secret." You whispered. "So, does that mean you're ready for the second secret?" You responded to her question with an affirmative hum. Another deep breath grazed your ear as she leaned in. "I'm in love with you, Mc." A smile covered you face as you pulled away and pressed your forehead against hers. "I love you too, Lilith. I love you no matter what. Whether you're a demon, human, or angel doesn't change that fact what so ever."
The sweet memory began to subside, replaced by ones bittersweet and or painful. Falling ill with Lilith at your bedside brought pain to your chest, but it only worsened as the memory of her bringing to you a stolen fruit from the heavens that cured your deathly aliment. She had disappeared that day, leaving you alone once more. A century later you had found her again, choosing to ignore the curse that had come along with the fruit as you showered her with as much love and care as you could manage or afford. The two of you travelled the world until her body could no longer keep up with yours. Though you and Lilith had bore a singular child together, not once did your reincarnated lover accept your marriage proposal.
A stinging pain shot through your heart as your last memory with Lilith coated your mind. She laid on her death bed, a less common demise for a human at the time overtaking her body. Age had caught up to her despite your best efforts, and you couldn't hold back your sobs as you pleaded with her. Your children and grandchildren watched with eyes full of pity as you desperately begged for her to allow you to be wed to her before she perished, but they knew Lilith as good as you did and knew she'd still refuse. Her wrinkled hands held your tear stained face one last time, placing a kiss to your forehead before whispering something to you. "One day, you'll find another who can give as much love to you as you have to me. Our time together may end now, but I promise you a part of me shall always remain with you and the rest of the world." Your denial of her demise had lead you to travel the world in search of her, hoping she would once more return to you as she'd done before. A journey that led you to become know as the Ancient Wanderer.
As days turned to months, months turned to years, and years to centuries, you remained the same as you had been when you'd first consumed the sacred fruit. Your body had gained some alterations, mostly in the form of battle scars, but otherwise you were the same as before. Same age, same height, same face, and same heart. One would've expected you to have become bitter at the world, and for a time you were, but you relaxed into a routine that somewhat soothed your aching heart. For as long as you could manage the lie, you'd act out the made up story of your choosing. Most often you found yourself in the role of a mysterious student who was far more intelligent than the average college freshman and had no visible family figures. Once people started to become suspicious, you'd move onto the next role.
The current person you had pretended to be was quite similar to your usual performance. It had been a good handful of years since you'd first enrolled in the small town community college, and as far as you knew no one had begun to suspect a thing. Perhaps you could achieve a PhD in this false life, you wondered to yourself as you stood up from the door. Yet the thought was short lived, as your body began to plummet through the floor the second you had moved to remove your coat.
You laid splayed out in front of a group of strangers now, groaning out a series of complaints as you struggled to rise from the ground. The false name you'd been using currently fell from a rather cheery looking stranger's lips, the hairs on the back of your neck raising as the male stood beside him eyed you suspiciously after your delayed response.

Lucifer:
It was no secret that the Eldest of the Demon Brothers had been suspicious of you from the beginning. The first time you had failed to react at the normal speed one would respond to their name, he had written it off as a result of the rough landing. Yet, as the action became more and more frequent, his suspicions grew. It was as if you were waiting for a different name to be called, one not mentioned anywhere on your documents.
You had engaged in many other strange behaviors that had caused him to become on edge around you, but the realization of who you actually were had never truly set in until a day after you had formed a pact with Leviathan. Lucifer's eyebrows had furrowed the day you had pulled him away, confused by your sudden directness with him since you usually avoided him like the plague.
One would assume that the Avatar of Pride would be good at keeping secrets, but he had become enraged as the name of his deceased sister slipped out of your mouth. His demon form glowered over you as you confessed your true identity, and if looks could kill you would've been seeing Lilith again. It was hard for his brothers to ignore the way Lucifer was acting, especially against Diavolo's Exchange Student.
Neither of you made a noise as he processed the information, the aggressive look not leaving his face as he trapped you with his wings. Before him stood the human that his little sister had fallen in love with. While he was almost impressed you'd managed to survive for so long, something about you seemed... wrong to him.
In his eyes, you were nothing short of lackluster. A meek, pitiful human that Lucifer could not comprehend how his sister had fallen in love with. Perhaps a version of himself with a fraction more humility may have, but the Avatar of Pride could not. Were you truly the person Lilith had sacrificed everything for? How could you possibly be the one he'd sworn allegiance to the Demon Prince to send his sister back to? You fully expected him to attack you, but he simply set back, a look of disgust painting his features.
After the encounter, somehow word had spread to the rest of his brothers about your past. Lucifer would attempt to stop his brothers from distancing themselves from you, but he knew they'd only grow to resent you more than they already did if he forced them to hang around you. At most he managed to ensure that Mammon still protected you from any harm, but it was obvious that the rest the Exchange Program was going to be rough.
But one night, something changed. It was as normal a night as any, with him and his brothers eating in the dining room as you sat alone somewhere in HoL. He had tried on multiple occasions to get you to eat with the rest of them, but you could see the forced politeness in his eyes whenever he invited you to sit beside him.
You would've just eaten in your room again that night, but Beel had already gotten to your portion of the meal. None of the others would share with you, so you chose to simply roam the dark halls. Lucifer sighed in exasperation after finding out secondhand that you hadn't yet eaten. Once the meal was finished, he put together a decent sized portion of the food remaining in the fridge onto a plate and looked for you.
A breeze fluttered the ends of his coat as he pushed the glass door open, closing it behind him as he approached your position on the balcony. He had spoke your name, your real name, but you did not react at all. Your eyes looked dormant as you clutched something small against your chest. "Mc, did you not hear me? I told you I brought you food. I'm aware you haven't eaten since this morning."
Lucifer waited for a response for a while, but not a single noise came from you. After setting the meal beside you he turned to leave, until your voice spoke from behind him, barely above a whisper. "She had the prettiest eyes, y'know?" The Avatar of Pride turned back to face you, perplexed. Your grip on the object in your hand had loosened, revealing something pure white and soft. As a Fallen Angel, it was something fairly easy to recognize. An Angel's feather, specifically one plucked from the area closest to the previous owner's heart. If he'd not know any better, Lucifer would've thought that you had received the Courting Item from Simeon.
"Lilith?" Despite knowing the answer, he still spoke the question. Unless you had another angelic lover, there was only one person you could've been speaking about. You simply nodded, beginning to trace the ridges of the feather.
His mind told him to leave the conversation at that. To return to his study and finish the mound of paperwork he'd still had to complete by next week. And yet, his body disobeyed.
He was just as surprised as you were when he rested his forearms against the balcony beside you, the only space separating you and him being the plate of food. The demon ignored your surprised eyes and sudden nervous fidgeting, choosing instead to breath out a sigh and look out into the backyard's garden. "Can you tell me more about her? As a human I mean. If you've managed to remember those details that is." Your gaze softened despite his somewhat surly tone, and you turned to look at the garden as well. "Of course I remember. I'd be a damn awful boyfriend if I didn't."
With the dry chuckle now released from your lips, you began to recount anything and everything about Lilith. Even what felt like the smallest of details were not left out, and you'd only occasionally return to the Ancient tome you always carried around to recite certain details. You'd even said something about his sister that he didn't even know, from long before she had died. Though the Eldest gave no visible reaction as you spoke, your recollections were actually stirring up quite a storm of emotions inside of him. It was as if the stages of grief were swirling around in his stomach all at once.
At some point you had begun to lose track of the conversation, simply beginning to recount the rest of your life up until this point. The Avatar of Pride couldn't bring himself to stop you from getting off track, as your tales of the Human World over the years were rather enticing. His heart thrummed with intrigue as you recounted stories of warfare, and oddly felt light as you described what were know as the Seven Wonders of The World. You only fully realized that you had gone off track once you finished telling him about the Qing Dynasty, as sheepish smile crossing your face.
It had been at this point that the storm began to subside, only to be replaced with a sinking feeling. Guilt was not an unfamiliar emotion, he felt it quite often in circumstances that involved his family. Rather, he hardly outwardly expressed these feelings, favoring to lock them deep into the recesses of his heart. A sudden twinge filled his chest as he recalled the treatment you had been receiving from him and his brothers, drawing him away from the balcony. He tried to ignore the surprise on your face at his curt apology, before returning to his room.
Lucifer had never apologized to you before, or at least since you'd told him about your past. But now he had politely excused himself with one. You weren't even sure as to what he had fully said to you, your brain more focused on the fact that the word "sorry" had even left his mouth. A demon you'd come to recognize as a man smothered with pride had never acted this way towards you, most times he'd simply leave your presence without a word unless you were in front of Diavolo. And even then it sounded forced, unlike the natural apology that he had uttered upon leaving.
Around dinnertime the next week marked the moment you fully recognized the change in the Eldest's behavior. He'd called you away to his office to speak about something, telling his brothers to eat without the two of you. The scent of freshly grilled salmon hit your nose as you followed behind him, and he beckoned you to take a seat beside him. The meal laid out before you was much more plentiful from your usual meal, and you could almost imagine how difficult it must've been to get this in here while also keeping it so warm and fresh. "Go on, dig in. The fish is not going to bite back, you know?" Confusion muddled your mind at his rather playful tone, carefully cutting off a piece before taking a bite. It was...
Delicious. As if you were indulging in a Five star meal at a fancy restaurant in the Human World. Your apprehension died down with each bite, and you swore if you had a tail it would've been wagging at the speed of sound. "You like it, I see. Good, I had Hell's Kitchen deliver it so we could dine together. Its a type of salmon called "The Demon King's Salmon". We're in the middle of their mating season right now, so that means they're more wild than usual as well as more rich in flavor." You had been nodding along absentmindly at first, but slowly you realized just how much this must have cost and nearly choked. Coughing into a napkin, you tried your best not to waste the pieces of salmon stuck in your throat. But it seemed you just needed a comforting pat on the back to swallow properly, one that nearly sent you into a state of shock.
Worried crimson eyes examined you as Lucifer gave firm pats to your back, only stopping once the choked noises stopped. "You frightened me there, Mc. Do be more careful when you're eating." His words of comfort hit your eyes, nearly rattling you at your core. "J-jeez Lucifer. You're uh, acting a little different today. You doing alright?" He couldn't meet your eyes after you spoke those words, choosing to instead eat some of his own food. "I'm fine, Mc. I simply recognized that haven't been the best host is all."
Though it wasn't something the two of you did every night, you had formed a routine where you'd have dinner in his office and chat. It became something to look forward to for you. His brothers had noticed fairly quickly, but the Eldest would waved off their questioning. Lucifer had even begun walking to, around, and from RAD on the days Mammon didn't feel like it.
When one of them had interrogated you suddenly, you couldn't say you didn't expect it. They searched for a pact mark on your body, and questioned you about magic and curses. It took a while for it to settle into their minds that Lucifer was hanging around you of his own choice.
The Avatar of Pride had let you become close to him, and that was nothing less of an inhuman feat. Becoming a casual acquaintance of his was something hardly any demons could manage, but here you were. A human sitting together with him in the late hours of the day, dining with a fresh bottle of Demonus.
Nevertheless, you remained in your current space in his heart for a while. It was not until you had finally managed to bond with his siblings that he slowly let you through the many barriers that encased it. After the Attic incident, he spent a lot of days deep in thought. Lucifer hadn't realized the effect you seemed to have on him to its fullest extent until now, and seeing you dying in his brother's arms brought a pain to his being that he hadn't felt since the Fall and Lilith's passing.
You found yourself in his company more often than not. If you weren't hanging around his brothers and trying to repair their trust in Belphie, he was at least in the same room at all times. Upon his request, you had even slept in his room a few times. Should you have not been comfortable with the idea of sharing a bed with him, he bought a futon for this explicit purpose. One that is comfy as well as enchanted, for easy storage. He'll be quite persistent on having you take the bed, but with enough pressing he'll give in. The scent of honeysuckle and lavender began to cling to every surface in his room, creating a rather soothing smell.
Even as you grew even closer, Lucifer cherished the nights you spent alone together discussing whatever you felt like. Most of the time you would lead the conversations in the stories department, seeing as you had a surplus of adventures over the years in the Human World, but he chimes in with a few of his own every now and then.
On night in particular, a memory had come to mind a little while after you had left to fetch something from the kitchen. You had just wrapped up a rather interesting story about having met a famous pianist in the past, and the memory had surfaced after you excused yourself.
"Lucifer, you simply must meet him! His tales are so enchanting and his voice! Oh his voice, big brother! It puts any lyre in Heaven to shame." Lilith swooned, her hand excitedly tugging on the Seraphim's sleeve. The Eldest brother simply smiled down at her, ruffling her hair before ushering her off. "I'm sure he's lovely, Lilith. Now, head back with Beel and Belphie soon. It's getting late, and I'd appreciate if you can make sure they both eat and sleep tonight. You know how they are some days. I'll return once Michael and I are finished here."
Lucifer recalled how he had once originally thought of the man he'd known as Lilith's crush, and later lover. Though he only knew most of the details about Mc from before secondhand, it was obvious that his sister was head-over-heels for the human. Even as an Angel, he'd pictured you quite different based off of her descriptions. While the details she had told him were most certainly true, albeit a little over the top at times, Lucifer had once viewed you as what he believed to be the perfect man for his baby sister. Perhaps it was why he felt so disappointed upon realizing your true form, realizing that you were not some idealized version of yourself he'd made up in his head all those years ago.
His thoughts slowly deteriorated into something far closer to what he'd once teased Lilith about. Simple praises fading into mentally praising nearly everything about you. Hearing footsteps approach his door snapped him out of his small daze, now fully aware of the irony of the situation. Lucifer bit back the laugh that threatened to spill from his lips, leaning back in his chair as the door creaked open.
Mammon:(I have rewritten this so many times im djefifhs)
At first, you had been quite a nuisance to the Avatar of Greed. A living being he had become tethered to, initially metaphorically but later physically. To say the least, Mammon was not exactly thrilled to be acting as your guardian. It had taken a while for him to really even notice anything off about you, as most of his thoughts towards you had been complaints.
He may have picked up on a few after forming a pact with you and helping you with a few things, but nothing that he could fully set in stone as weird or out of the ordinary. His usual crowd tended to be witches, sorcerers, demons, and the occasional human creditors, so it was hard to completely pinpoint what would be seen as abnormal human behaviors.
Before your conversation with Lucifer, Mammon had found himself feeling rather strangely about you. Despite being pretty close to a self-proclaimed Casanova, he struggled to grapple with the way he felt around you. The tightness in his chest seeing you sit closer to Beel than him, the pattering of his heart as you gave him the gentlest of friendly touches, the redness in his face at even the smallest word of praise. Seeing as he couldn't comprehend the feeling, he chose to reject it. All the while failing to notice that he still seeked it out.
Maybe if the nature of your past had been revealed to him later on, when he wasn't in such a state of emotional turmoil, he may have taken it better. Or it may have stung far worse. But what was done was done, for better or for worse.
It would be a lie to say he wasn't slightly hurt that you had not been the one to reveal it to him. Mammon would've preferred hearing it directly from you, not from another one of his brothers who happened to be close enough to overhear. Upon hearing the news, he's torn between making a beeline for you room and demanding answers or avoiding you entirely. As your Guardian slacked off from his job more and more, it became clear he chose the latter.
Any sort of progress you had made into some sort of bond with the Second Eldest brother was further back than you had started with in the first place. He once more became standoffish and brash, his holier than thou persona of the Great Mammon cranked farther past eleven. Through his external mask, you could see the fragments of hurt underneath, but that hurt faded into something more malicious.
Unless he absolutely needed to be there, he was often nowhere to be seen. A part of you missed seeing him barge into your room like an excited puppy. Still, you weren't completely lonely. It was relaxing to be in the company of the members of the Purgatory Hall. Solomon and you had actually bonded quite a bit over your similar life experiences, often spending your lunch breaks and the occasional weekend chatting and exchanging stories.
On one such occasion, Mammon happened to overhear the two of you in the common room. He hadn't meant to stick around, rather he was simply looking for where Lucifer had hid Goldie that morning. Yet, something stopped him from leaving. As he stood in the doorframe, he found himself listening intently to what you and Solomon had been discussing. Although it may have been a little invasive, perhaps it was for the best that the Avatar of Greed had chosen to be nosy.
"Ah, the tea has gone cold." Solomon chuckled, setting the cup back onto the saucer. "Have we really been talking for that long?" "So it seems. Well, it gives me an opportunity to showoff some more spells for you." You raised your eyebrows as the Sorcerer rolled up his sleeves. He uttered a few words that you recognized as Latin, loosely translating to something along the lines of "return aquatic warmth". The phrase brought a smile to your lips, catching his attention after the spell had ran its course. "Is my spellcasting that impressive, Mc?" His voice held an obvious teasing tone to it, earning a laugh from you before you gently waved him off. "It certainly is Solomon, but that's not what I was thinking of." Though he pouted at your words, he urged you to continue. "I was just thinking of how long it has been since I've heard someone speak Latin, let alone as fluently has you just did. Hell, I haven't spoken it myself in years after that brief span of time I worked as a Latin Professor in England."
"A lot of your stories revolve around that geographical location, Mc. If it's not to prying, may I ask as to why? Personally I prefer much more fair weather areas." Solomon questioned in between sips of tea. For a moment you paused, perplexed by the question. While you had visited a variety of different places all over the world, you failed to notice that most of the time you found yourself in the general area of the set of isles. "Well, the only reason that comes to mind is that I met Lilith there." You spoke after some time, unaware of the way a nearby demon perked up at the name.
The Avatar of Greed watched with bated breath, listening as you detailed how you had first met his sister. His eyes couldn't help but follow your hands as you put emphasis on certain statements, unknowingly leaning in while you continued. The way that praises fell from your lips so easily made it clear to both members of your audience that you truly loved the Angel, to such an extent that it actually reminded Mammon of her. He'd always teased Lilith in the past for how much she'd ramble on and on about just what she loved about a human male that she had met one day after sneaking away from the Celestial Realm. Despite all his teasings, he had never challenged her love and admiration for the boy she'd fallen for. Most of the time he had outright encouraged it, failing to notice just how deeply Lilith's devotion to her lover was. But hearing just how equally devoted you were to her brought forth a rather painful realization.
After the Fall, Mammon had grown to resent you. Or at least who he imagined the man that his sister started a war to save, one that she would later die in. When she'd first fallen for Mc, he'd imagine that the human would be a simple crush that she'd soon get over. Even if she had delved into a deep relationship with you, Mammon still did not believe that she would go as far as to go against their Father's wishes and mess with a human's lifespan. With grief fogging his mind, a cruel caricature formed of the man that he felt was directly responsible for the death of his little sister. His brain had latched onto this version of Mc as a form of stress relief, something to direct his frustrations towards in between caring for his brothers. Honestly, it was easier of an idea for him to deal with at the time, as most of his emotional effort went into assisting his brothers in coping with the Fall and caring for the demon birthed from the remains of smoldering wings. The idea of you being an actually decent person was often ignored, pressed to the back of his mind.
Yet, you were nothing like he had imagined. Kind, caring, devoted, and many more words described you far better than what Mammon had portrayed you as. Once the secret of your past had been revealed, he'd once more thought you to be the selfish being he had once believed you to be. But still, you remained the same person he had originally formed a pact with. In that moment a deep feeling of regret settled inside of him, for not only his actions but the way he had always thought of you.
"Mammon? What are you doing here?" You voice shattered his train of thought. Looking into your worried eyes, he suddenly realized just how close he was to you and Solomon. While he had been deep in thought, somewhere along the line he had begun drawing closer and closer to the couch that the two of you sat on. In his current position he had been nearly breathing down your neck, and though his sudden closeness did startle you, the troubled look in his eyes kept you from acting out of fear. Instead of responding, the demon instead began to stutter with a flushed face before scurrying off. "He's been there for a good 30 minutes now, you know. He was just standing in the doorway before."
The day after that night, you were suddenly overcome with the feeling of being followed. The sensation only faded when your Guardian demon was beside you, an event that had become more and more frequent. Though not an immediate process, you found Mammon at your side more and more often. This was not limited to the times that you were outside of the safety of HOL either. Even inside the house you found him seeking you out, giving a half baked excuse with a red face when you asked about the reasoning behind his sudden clinginess. You were aware that he had overheard you speaking about Lilith the other night, but it was surprising to see the sort of affect that it had on him.
Mammon wasn't incredibly quick to ease back into the way you would be around each other before, but it wasn't awfully long until he was once more glued to your hip. Actually, he was a lot more glued to your hip than before, putting in the effort to keep true to what he had promised you. A part of you wished his other brothers could have been there when Leviathan and Lucifer nearly had a heart attack seeing Mammon become so alert and protective of you.
While you hadn't received a proper apology from the demon, he was definitely acting far sweeter than before. It seemed that Mammon was more of the "actions speak louder than words" type. If you had seen something you wanted, it wasn't long before in ended up somewhere in your bedroom. Needed someone to come with you to something? Mammon is at your side in an instant. A lot of his "tsundere" personality is somewhat toned down a good bit, still sorta there but not as strong as it had been after you'd first made a pact.
Something he'd also become fond of was taking you with him on late night drives. While his brothers may have complained about the loud noises so late in the day, especially Asmo and Luci, they eventually gave up on reprimanding the two of you. Most of the time Mammon would just drive until either you fell asleep or he grew tired, but occasionally he would take you out to quiet spots where you could see the stars. On those nights, Mammon would wait for you to fall asleep before scooting close and wrapping an arm around your shoulders. Though you may not have been awake to hear it, it brought him some form of solace to whisper words of adoration and a promise of protection into your ear as you slept.
Alas, he had failed you once again as a result of his brothers' scheme to bring you and Lucifer closer. The pure agony in the sobs that shook his form were potent, enough to make Belphegor at least pause his chaotic laughter at your dying body in Mammon's arms. Mammon had not cried as hard as he did that night since the Fall, and the sound of his pained wails brought back heart-wrenching memories of his smoldering wings and bloodied face. He was only somewhat soothed as you managed to come back to life, pitiful wails dying down into loud sobs while he buried his face into your chest. The sound of your beating heart and flowery smell soothed him to sleep that night, the only thing allowing him a peaceful sleep.
Mammon quickly went from glued to your side to attached at the hip. If you were going somewhere he insisted on accompanying you or at least making you take one of his brothers with you. He settled down a good month after the Attic incident, trusting you to call upon him should you need him. You even have a custom ringtone on his D.D.D. that's louder than any of his other contacts. One time you had called to ask him about something and stubbed your toe in the middle of conversation. The noise of pain alerted him and he threw the phone aside and began dashing to your location. The second he saw you, he hurried over and began checking for any injuries.
One night, Mammon fully recognized just how devoted he had suddenly became to you. Fond memories of how Lilith used to speak about you came to mind as the two of you sat together, watching a movie in his room. He could no longer focus on it, despite the amount of explosions and special effects, instead lost in thought while running his hands through your hair. A soft smile crossed his face as he looked at you, the glow of the TV seeming highlighting you in a way that made you look ethereal. He wanted nothing more in that moment to snuggle into your exposed neck, but you had caught onto his staring too soon. He'd simply have to wait until he either had another lucky moment or he gained the courage to actually confess the feelings he held towards you.
Leviathan:
Leviathan wasn't exactly suspicious of you before or after the formation of your pact. You were just some random normie to him at first, but a random normie he could use to get his money back from Mammon. He had begun to view you as a sort of friend after sealing the deal with you, someone to spend time with him despite his tendency to get carried away while talking. While he didn't spend as much time with you as his brothers did, which was mostly his own fault, Levi still enjoyed your company.
It would be a lie to say that he didn't feel some excitement whenever you would accept his offers of bingeing anime or a video game marathon, to the point that he'd began thinking about buying a few things to keep in his room to make you feel more at home. A decent handful of Human World or Human-safe Devildom snacks were in his Akuzon cart, alongside a few custom gaming things. Levi had held off on actually purchasing these products though, as he didn't want to come off too strong and weird you out. The two of you had just recently became friends, so you hadn't fully set boundaries with each other yet.
It's fairly likely that he's the last of the brothers to actually find out about your past. He probably wasn't in the same room when you had pulled Lucifer away for a chat, nor was he aware of the word spreading around the house about you. Watching his brothers suddenly distance themselves from you confused him, especially when Mammon refused to be in the same room as you. He had continued interacting with you as normal, deciding to just ask you or one of his brothers about it later.
You happened to get to him first about it, on a day that he had made plans for both of you to watch a recent anime that he'd been keeping an eye on for months. In the days leading up to the release, he'd been excitedly telling you all the details that he knew from the manga it was based off of as well as some of the leaked promotional art, with you giving your own personal input. Underneath the dim lights of his room, you and Levi sat through some commercials as you waited for the show to start. It was then he had brought up the question, and although you were nervous to tell him, you felt it best not to keep him in the dark. Plus, it felt better to tell him yourself rather than one of the others telling him.
Though you tried to go about the topic of your past in the gentlest way possible, finding out who you actually were still upset him greatly. When he shifted into his demon form you were worried he might've attacked you again, but he simply began to sulk on the floor and tell you to leave. Reaching out to him to offer some comfort only upset him more, and once he started hissing you took it as your queue to leave.
He wasn't exactly sure what he was more mad about, the fact that you were Mc, the same one his sister loved, or that you had been lying to him about your true self. Truthfully, he felt betrayed by the whole situation. He may not be the best with friendships, but he felt hurt that you didn't confide in him first. Both before and after the Fall he had not had much of an opinion on the boy that Lilith had fallen in love with, but the Envy that coursed through his veins suddenly brought forth a resentment he had never held before.
No matter what form Leviathan had taken over the years, whether it be an Angel or Demon, he'd always found himself in a high ranking military position. Once the intial years of morning had passed, Levi had accepted the role of the General of Hell's Navy. In a way, it helped him ease into being a demon better than the time he spent locked away in his room. While he wasn't always actively commanding, most of the time that wasn't spent on his interests was spent training or strategizing. He didn't really have time to dwell on his thoughts on you.
Yet, as the feelings of Envy and years of painful memories clashed together in his mind, an unfamiliar rage filled him. He too began avoiding you and would yell at you to go away if you asked to come into his room. You came to realize that if you wanted to try and fix things with him, you'd likely need to catch him when he was outside of his room. Thus, you hatched a plan to draw him out slowly.
Though he was one of the most powerful demons in the Devildom, it was rare to catch the Avatar of Envy out and about in town. Unless he had to go grocery shopping, Levi would only be seen out of the house whenever an important anime or game event was happening. This day in particular happened to be the release of a new game that he'd been looking forward to for years now, eagerly watching the development from the posts of the team's official Devilgram.
By the time he had got there the line was already fairly long, making the demon slightly nervous. Sure, he could always get a copy later, but these specific copies from this specific store were incredibly special in comparison to the other ones. They were limited edition copies that came with all of the DLC, as well as a figurine of the main character and a few replicas of in-game items. He'd tried to arrive as early as possible since the store had placed a rule against camping outside the entrance for a set amount of time, but he was held up by one of Lucifer's lectures regarding his grades on Seductive Speechcraft. Arguing with him or trying to escape would've only made him sit and listen to Lucifer for longer, so he begrudgingly sat through his older brother's lecturing and ran out the door once he was finished.
The line itself was full of a bunch of different types of demons, some of them being people he recognized from the Navy or a few of the Devildom's conventions. The other people were not as rowdy as he expected, but seeing as the doors wouldn't open for another hour they likely wouldn't be worked up by now. Seeing as he was going to be there for a while and didn't really have any desire to chat with those around him, he decided to pull out his Demontendo Switch and play some Devil Crossing.
Halfway through planting a new tulip garden, the line began to fill with chatter around him. Checking the time confirmed that it was about 5 minutes until the doors would open, so he was quick to save his game and prepare for the inevitable rush to get inside. As much as the owners of the shop would've liked there to be a calm, single file line, demons tended to be rather unpredictable. Leviathan still remembered the day of the most recent "The Seven Lords" release, after a Wrath demon ended up in quite a scuffle with a Greed demon over the last copy. It was rather likely that something similar would happen again, since the limited edition copies were so, well, limited.
When the doors finally opened, everyone rushed inside as expected. Levi had memorized the location of the display that would hold what he was looking for a few days prior to release, so he eagerly weaved in and out of the crowd to get to it. Yet, upon reaching the display, he was met with a sight that at first disappointed him, and then confused him. The shelves had been completely empty by the time he reached it, but as an envious rage began to stir within him he found an odd sight at the far end of the display. He hadn't expected to see you here of all places, let alone crouched so low to the floor in front of a rather pissed looking demon. Levi couldn't see exactly what you were holding onto, but over the chatter of the other customers he could make out that you had something that the demon in front of you wanted.
Getting closer, he was surprised to see a small pool of red beginning to stain the yellow carpet below you. Were you bleeding? Did the demon attack you? While he still didn't want to be around you all that much, he knew an awful punishment would be awaiting him should he let you get yourself killed over whatever you were so latched onto. He thought the demon would've put up more of a fight when he loomed over both of you in his Demon form, but they simply scurried away in fear. You slowly uncurled yourself to look at your savior, locking eyes with the otaku you hadn't seen in weeks. "Hey Levi! Thanks for the help." Levi cringed a little at the way you smiled up at him, bleeding heavily from your nose and acting like it wasn't there. Once you finally stood up and turned around, he saw what you had been practically guarding with your life. The box set of the limited edition copy he had been looking for was clutched closely to your chest, albeit with a few droplets of blood smeared across the surface.
"I'd say that I didn't expect to see you here, but to be honest I did. I was just hoping that I would've got in and out before you got here." You confessing, rubbing the back of your neck in an embarrassed manner. "Why? So you could buy the game before I could?" His tone made you flinch for a moment, but you continued to keep your pleasant composure. "I'll explain soon, just wait for me outside, okay?" "...Fine."
After a couple of minutes you met up with him outside, the box cleaned of crimson droplets and your nose thoroughly cleaned but still bruised. "Sorry about the wait, Miss Honey wouldn't let me leave before she took care of my whole broken nose thing." You chuckled nervously. "Miss Honey?" Levi mused in an uncouth manner. "Ah, yeah. She's the owner of the shop. I worked part time here for a bit and sorta became friends with her? Miss Honey is an older lady, so she doesn't have many people to talk to besides her grandkids when they visit. But, enough about that. Here." Eagerly, you presented the box to him. He raised an eyebrow at you, analyzing the situation before quickly snatching up the box. Levi found no sort of damages to the box and all of the collectables were inside, confirming to him that you weren't pulling some trick on him. "I was gonna just leave it in front of your door with a note, but since you're here now I might as well give it to you." "Why are you giving this to me? Do you want something?" It was understandable that he thought you may have had ulterior motives, but you didn't take it personally. "Oh, no no! I just remembered that you said you were really looking forward to this game so I wanted to get it for you. Miss Honey let me line up in front early so I would have a better chance at getting it." "I... I... uhm." "Well, I'll see you back at the House of Lamentation. I'm feeling a little lightheaded."
It took Leviathan a bit to come to terms with what he had just witnessed. You had gotten into a fight with a demon that could very well kill you, only to give him the very thing that you had been fighting to keep. Memories of you smiling yet bloodied face came to mind every time he looked at the box, and he couldn't bring himself to open it up and play the game he'd been waiting so long for. He fully expected you to demand some sort of favor in return for the game, but you never did. The most you had mentioned anything about it was when you asked him if he was enjoying the game while he escorted you around RAD in Mammon's place.
Similar to Mammon, he preferred to ease into being around you. Lingering in the same room at a distance, only closing the gap when he felt more comfortable in your general vicinity. You remained patient with him, allowing him to inch closer and closer at his own pace. The biggest step he had taken with you was inviting you into the common room to watch the anime from before, muttering something about never getting around to watching the show and you had already wanted to watch it with him anyway.
He had never been too comfortable with touching before you had confessed to him about your past, but something in him made him want to bring you physically closer to him. Butterflies filled his stomach as his pinkie crossed over yours one night and you made no move to pull away, instead linking yours with his.
Only after the Attic incident did he allow you back into his room, and if he was being honest he never wanted you to leave once you entered. You allow him to coddle you, the upset expression he gave you when you tried to do things on your own too heartbreaking to bear. Want something to eat or drink? He just so happens to have some Human food here, let him get you some. Bored? Come out of the bedtub and play some games or what some anime with him. Just make sure you grab the Henry controller and headphones. Lucifer had to fight quite a bit with Levi to get him to let you go so you could attend RAD. Even so, Leviathan attended more in person classes just to be around you. With how much he followed after you like a lost puppy, he was beginning to make Mammon jealous.
On nights that you've fallen asleep in his room and he's left alone with his thoughts, his mind sometimes drifts to Lilith. He never had time as an Angel or Demon to dwell too much on his sister's praises of you, but as the memories returned to him he couldn't help but smile. "I've never met a man as sweet as Mc. Not even an Angel could compare to how kind he is. He's such a massive sweetheart." Lilith had swooned one night in a conversation with Belphegor. His eyes drifted towards your sleeping form, focusing on the fantasy amulet hung around your neck. The same one that had come in the box set you'd given him. "You are a sweetheart, huh?" "...What was that Levi?" ".......aaaaAAAAAAA"

the romanticism of lana del Rey's music seeps into my veins and overrides my central nervous system. one of my close friends just got broken up with and it's messing with my serotonin levels I'm just sad right now so you get to suffer with me
Song: Blue Jeans by Lana Del Rey
Pairing: Levi x gender neutral reader
Word count: 1k
Summary/concept: semi-canon compliant modern AU, ACWNR era, heavy angst, angst no comfort
CW: SAD :(, abandonment issues
You couldn’t escape it. Everywhere you went and every thought in your mind went back to that day. You knew how painful love could be, and you’d had your fair share of heartbreak. But this was different. It was a rip in time. And you needed to get those godforsaken memories out of your mind’s eye.
It had been December 27th. Two days after his twenty-first birthday. The party naturally was held a few days after to give time for the holiday (not that there was any money to celebrate with), but you hadn’t expected a crowd so close to Christmas. It seemed people turned out for the great Levi. You didn’t know him–well, you knew of him. Everyone knew of Levi. But you didn’t know him personally. You were lucky you weren’t against him, though, that’s for damn sure. You shuddered to think what would happen to you if you ever crossed him in the wrong situation.
But you had locked eyes the second he walked into the room, the surprise on his face at the party he clearly wasn’t aware of melting away and consolidating into something steely and inquisitive. Hard. The night had ended with his jeans and simple white tee scattered across the basement floor intermingling with your tank top and shorts and underwear. You didn’t remember much save for the emotions you’d gone through–elation, infatuation, awe, and desire. You needed this man to stay in your life. And he did.
It wasn’t a match made in heaven. Levi was raised by a fucking serial killer–Kenny the Ripper of all people–and wasn’t in tune to the finer workings of social cues. He was a functioning member of society (if you could call the Underground a society) but he mostly kept to himself, and when he did open his mouth, he was brusque and often rude. He wasn’t called the King of the Underground for no reason. Levi was a hard, hard man. Through and through. You, on the other hand, had been raised in a miracle, by two parents who loved you and cared for you, but had disappeared without warning when you were a teenager. You could not be more different, all the way down to the music you listened to; Levi loved The Clash, and you loved Biggie.
Despite the differences on paper, your life with Levi was a life you loved almost as much as you grew to love him. The constant threat of danger that comes with living in the Underground faded into the periphery as you walked the streets with the King, unmolested and greeted with respect. The money he made granted you privileges like living in a real home, and a clean one at that. It was a welcome change of pace.
But most importantly, you learned love. You’d been burned before. Badly. Life Underground just wasn’t great. Finding love was hard. But Levi wiped the possibility of those things off the table like the dust he so despised. You learned how to read him, how to pick apart the tiny twitches in his face and translate them into his thoughts, how to show your appreciation for him in a way he understood, how to speak his language. You learned how it felt to see stars, to be loved irrevocably.
At least until he left.
The night before he left, you’d argued. You and Levi had never had a fight. You disagreed over the standards of cleanliness he maintained and how many jobs he took, but you never fought about money since it was never a problem, sex since your sex life most certainly was not lacking, nor other common relationship problems. It came out of the blue. You don’t remember when it started save for the telltale body language that he was about to shut down. You’d rushed into the kitchen as he turned the kettle on and asked what was wrong, and it devolved from there.
“You don’t get it, do you?” He’d stared at you the way he stared at some of his “business partners” as you called them. “You don’t understand. We can’t live like this forever. I won’t let us.”
“What are you talking about, Levi?” He’d carefully poured the water into a cup with a few scant tea leaves. “We have everything we need here, we’re happy.”
“It’s not good enough!” He exploded, raising his voice at you for the first time… ever. “We can’t die down here without seeing the sun. I can’t let…” his voice broke, and you almost pulled your hair in frustration. You were completely blindsided; you didn’t know he had been feeling this way.
“Levi!” You’d shouted as he stormed away. Well, stormed is a bit of an exaggeration. Levi didn’t storm anywhere. He was back to normal, composed and refined as ever, face a blank slate. Your heart lurched at the thought of him closing himself off from you, diving deep where you couldn’t find him and bring him to the surface.
“Levi!” You screamed. “Don’t do this, come talk to me!” He left. You picked up a plate and hurled it at the wall, satisfied as it shattered into a million pieces. You hoped it pissed him off that there was shit on the floor. Whatever.
But the next day, he was gone. The shards of the plate where gone. There was a note on the kitchen counter, where he always left notes for you to wake up to in case he had taken a job that was urgent. All it read was “back Monday.” Monday was a day away. You thought that was good, it would give you time to calm down. But… he just didn’t come back.
You asked around. Nobody had seen him. Isabel and Farlan were gone too. How your heart had ached! Your entire family, gone without a trace as if they never existed in the first place. It was you at fourteen all over again, coming home to nobody. You’d sold your childhood home, and as the days turned into months, you sold Levi’s home as well. It hurt. It hurt like a bitch. But you couldn’t let go.
You would never let go of Levi. You would love him till the end of time. You knew how dangerous his job was, how there was always a risk he wouldn’t be in your bed when you woke up in the morning. But that was a risk you were willing to take. This man was your reason for breathing goddammit and nothing could change that, even if breathing felt like being stabbed sometimes from how overwhelming the pain was. You would wait a million years if that’s how long it took to be reunited with him.
Wait you did. And here you are now. Still waiting, years later. You would never stop waiting. Til the end of time. You’d promised that, and you weren't about to break that promise now.

Teacher Levi x Student reader
Tumblr media
Your obsession with Professor Ackerman isn't a secret thing between your friends. You like him even though he is strict, cold, rude, and intimidating. You keep talking about him to your friends so much that being annoyed, they have now started to call you Mrs. Ackerman. Not like you hated that, whether it gave you pleasure.
You have always wondered if he has a girlfriend? Or does he keep a mistress? What type of woman does he like? Tall with big boobs and asses? Experienced? Or short innocent girls? Is he a Dom or Sub? How sexy his body look under his shirt? Is he big? How many women have tasted those full lips of his? How many women were so lucky to have him in their bed?
And now you're sitting in his office, feeling nervous as ever. You are wondering why he called you. You have never disobeyed any rules in his class, skipped any homework or even failed in the exams. You are an average student and always is a good girl in his class. As the door slides open and Levi enters, your throat goes dry looking at his handsome features.
Levi walks into his office, closing the door behind him. The moment he walks in, you feel your heart start to pound and your stomach flip-flop. You can't help but notice how attractive he is. His appearance is striking, with his sharp features and broad shoulders. He has a commanding presence, exuding an air of authority and dominance. You can't help but feel nervous and overwhelmed in his presence. As usual, his voice sounds deep and rough as he speaks, his tone serious and stoic.
"I'm sure you've been wondering why I asked you here today."
You nod.
"Yes sir, why have you called me?"
He undoes his tie and the collar bottom of his shirt as he speaks again in a serious and a rigid tone.
"You're a good student. You're well-behaved, you always do your homework, and you do well on your exams."
You look at him, feeling your nervousness fading away a bit. But when he undoes his tie and the bottom, you look away from him because you know the more he'll reveal his skin to you.... The more you'll fall for him... The more you'll want him.
"I'm glad you think so, sir."
You say in a formal voice as you nervously give him your usual smile. Levi notices your reaction and can't help but feel amused. He slowly unbuttons his next bottom and lowers the AC's temperature as he speaks in his rough voice again.
"Everyone has their own dark fantasies, no matter how good they are or shows how well behaved they are, don't you agree?"
You take a look at him with confusion at the sudden change of topic. That's when you notice his neck. It's so flawless and muscly that you want to kiss, suck and bite on that skin so badly. You're glad that he has reduced the AC's temperature, because you're feeling so damn hot right now. But then remembering that he has asked you a question, you nod and reply in a formal tone.
"Yes sir. Everyone has their own fantasies."
Levi sees the hunger in your eyes as you stare at his neck. He likes the way you look at him, as if you are admiring him. He lowers the AC's temperature again as he continues to speak in his rough voice.
"Everyone has their own fantasies, that's true, but not everyone acts on them. How good are you at keeping secrets?"
You get confused by the sudden shift of topic again. Then you smile softly at his question and reply proudly.
"That's probably the only thing about myself I can flex about"
Levi leans back in his chair as he sees your confidence. He can't help but feel even more amused. He looks into your eyes and notices the way you're looking at him.
"The fact is, you've always been a good behaved student, and to be honest, I've always kind of liked you."
Levi pauses for a moment, observing your reaction to his words. When you remain silent put of shock and keep looking at him with shocked expression, he decides to continue speaking.
"You know how some students always try to flirt and cheat and get on the good books of their teachers? But you never did such things, nor do I think that you could ever do anything like that. I like you, roll and I want to take you for myself."
You feel like tearing up in happiness and jumping on his lap and kissing him until both of you will be breathless. You always thought it's an one sided thing and now that you know he feels the same way you bite your lips hard to stop yourself from smiling cheekily in happiness.
"Sir? Can I?"
You ask in a soft voice and look at him pleadingly.
"Can I hold your hand?"
You speak again with an excited and nervous tone as you look over the hand of his which is resting on the table. Levi looks into your eyes, his eyes piercing through yours.
"Go ahead."
He holds out his hand for you to take. You take his hand, and the moment your hands touch, a wave of sensation and warmth floods your body. You can feel his rough fingers intertwined with yours as he holds your hand tightly, not allowing you to let go. You smile, looking at the intertwined hands of you two.
"It's gonna be a problem if we date, is not it? The last thing I want in this world to be a bother to you."
You speak in a worried tone as you look up at him again. Your eyes soften with sadness as your grip on his hand tightened.
"I really do like you a lot."
You confess softly in a low voice, smiling as you eyes tears up. Levi's gaze softens too as he sees the sadness and tears in your eyes. He squeezes your hand tighter, as if he was trying to reassure you.
"It won't be a problem for me.... I don't care what others think, if that's what you're worried about. I like you too, and I want to take this further."
He leans forward slightly, his gray eyes piercing into yours. The tension between the both of you becomes palpable as the space between your bodies shrinks when he pushes the table aside which was the only obstacle between you two. You close your eyes as your grip on his hand tightened due to the anticipation you are feeling. Your heart starts to beat loudly and your breath is shallow as you tilted your head forward, waiting for him to meet you halfway. The moment he sees you tilt your head close to his mouth, he takes the initiative and pulls you to his body, pressing his lips against yours. His kiss is firm and forceful, and his hands hold your body tightly. His tongue probes your mouth, exploring every crevice and curve as he ravishes you with his desires. You wrap your arms around him, squeezing him hard, and your bodies pressed so closely together that you can feel every vein and bump of his muscles as he kisses you with raw lust and passion.
As you moan indicating that you need air, Levi breaks the kiss and looks into your eyes. Your hearts are beating wildly as you both pant, breathing heavily and trying to catch your breath. His hands slip down your back, down to your hips, as he pulls you closer to his body.
"You're mine now..."
He whispers in your ear, his voice hoarse with desire. You just smile shyly in reply.
"I was always yours and I still am."
You caress his cheek, looking into his eyes with love as you speak softly.
"Well.... It's just one more year until we can date openly."
Levi scoffs at your words.
"There's no way I'm waiting another year..."
Levi says roughly as he kisses you again, this time even deeper and more passionate than before, your lips pressed together in a heated embrace. Your bodies are pressed against one another, and your thighs rub together as the two of you let out an audible moan.
Levi breaks the kiss again and looks at you with hunger still in his eyes as he whispers in your ear again.
"We're not going to have any secrets between us. You're mine now, and everyone is going to know it. I don't give a shit about the student-teacher relationship.... You're mine."
Levi takes your hand and draws you back in for another passionate kiss. Your hands roam over the muscles of his body, and you begin to slip your tongue into his mouth. Feeling his warm and moist lips as they lock against yours, you moan and forcefully push him away, breathing heavily.
"Not here.... I need a bed."
You speak, breathing heavily as Levi brushes your hair and tug them behind you ear.
"My house, now!"

Wish Fulfillment “Do-Over” NSFW!!! NOT FOR MINORS!!!
So this is my idea for a long fiction I want to do that’s mostly my own wish fulfillment. What do you guys think? I’ve already started writing but it’s in the drafts stage.
Everyone x fem y/n (platonic)
Erwin x Reader x Levi x Miche x Hange (romantic)
Black/brown skinned (4c hair)
Chubby/curvy y/n (in the beginning)
Big booty y/n (just cause)
Huge Blerd (big AOT fan but has other fandoms)
Is a well of random knowledge thanks to YouTube
Has attended college
Has a smart mouth/ snarky personality
Smoke weed every day!
Y/n is an average millennial with a big heart and a hopeful outlook on life despite dealing with depression and anxiety herself. She is average in body proportions (for American women) but has a curvy body. As the story progresses, Y/n will have changes in her body that’s one would expect from going from an average American diet, to nearly starving and exercising to keep up with actual soldiers. Y/n genuinely believes in love and goodness but will be tested through this harsh reality of AOT.
curses, wears revealing/tight clothes (for the era), depressed, has generalized anxiety, confident and self loving, but makes self deprecating/inappropriate jokes, loves colors, loves animals, loves guitar & piano (avg player), isn’t a singer but loves to sing, isn’t a dancer but loves to dance, can cook (cause duh),
Main goal: change the ending of the series by helping everyone survive and freeing the founding Titan and establishing world peace
Y/n loves/likes most of the characters and is working to help them survive and find happiness
Not intentionally seducing any character, but most/all characters ending up adoring y/n
I plan on keeping y/n on the same path of love and peace throughout the story but they will absolutely have changed characteristics
Start- optimistic but not naive/not a leader/not confident in physical ability to kill to survive/kind/creative/smart mouth/aave/hides emotions (poorly)/wears her heart on her sleeve/crybaby
End- still optimistic/smart mouthed/kind/creative/becomes a leader/becomes nearly fearless/still crybaby/aave
“Last time I checked I was grown”
“And boom goes the dynamite”
“Kiss the fattest part of my ass!”
“Ni -hnghmmm- boy…”
“You have five seconds to get the fuck out of my way...4”
“All dogs are puppies”
“But is that a LAW or more of a guideline?”
“I’m not sure about murder, but I will stab you in the eyes.”
“What the FUCK did you just call me?”
Levi: “hey fatass.” Y/n: “hey shortass.”
“I don't know what I can do to get you to trust me, but I swear, the only thing I want is to see humanity do more than just survive. I want you all to truly live.”
“This isn’t life. This is ugly and cruel. And the worst part is that it doesn’t HAVE to be. The world is cruel because PEOPLE made it that way. Life could be heaven on earth if we all decided to change.”
“I’m not a killer. Hell, compared to everyone here, I’ve lived like royalty. But that doesn’t mean I haven’t felt pain, or loss. It doesn’t mean I don’t have a heart.”
“My family,…my friends,...everything gone.”
“*sob* no one knows where I am! *sob* I can’t even tell anyone I’m okay.”
“FUCK YOU! I AM ALONE! Everything and everything I have ever known is completely out of my reach! I have never been more alone in my life! I have nothing! *sob* so fuck you…”
“Why me? It could’ve been anyone! Someone useful! I’m just a regular ass person! Why ME?!”
“Please tell me that y’all use seasoning in your food.”
“It’s your world, I’m just living in it.”
“Deez nuts.”
“That’s what she said.”
“Lay one fucking finger on me and you will lose your entire fucking hand.”
“Does this look like a fucking petting zoo?!”
“You do the right thing even when it’s hard. That’s how I know you’re a good person.”
“Just another day in the survey corps! Hehehehe!”
Makes constant references to modern era jokes/memes and laughs at them to herself.
“Stupid is as stupid does.”
Sees Titan out of nowhere: “Wha-Oh Fuck! Shit! BITCH!!!!”
“My ancestors were taken from their homelands and made into slaves in a foreign land. They lost their freedom, cultures, families, everything. 400+ years later I break bread w/ the descendants of those slave owners and I do not hold resentment towards them. Don’t get me wrong, there are times where I want vengeance and blood. But I’m 400+ years, the descendants of those slaves proved over and over again that we are not the animals they thought us to be. And it’s not perfect by any means. Because of the color of my skin, I could be killed, discriminated against and brutalized. But my people persevered. We came together and fought to be free. We created a culture unique to us that the entire world sees. And we still fight, until a day comes where the color of someone’s skin, their sex, gender, size shape, etc. are not ever used against them again. And I still believe that world is achievable.”

How about Levi x reader, where they get set up on a blind date by their friends as a prank, but actually end up liking each other
Tumblr media
note :: honestly not my best at all but it was cute i guess T___T kinda an opposites attract thing also it’s a modern au !!
for some reason hange and sasha wake up one morning and decide they want to wreak havoc
it’s not peculiar coming from them
after all they are always up to something
like the one time sasha purposefully trapped herself in an elevator with a hot guy
or the time hange tried to make coffee with an energy drink mixed in it??
OR-
okay you’re getting sidetracked
but the point is they have no real reason for this new venture of theirs
when do they ever have a reason though?
somehow today their scheming has led to them begging you to go on a blind date
“he’s not my type i mean he’s old and whatever but you would like him” sasha’s stuffing her face with a buttery croissant
she doesn’t sound very convincing
then again, you have no objections to the idea
you’re single
you’re lonely
if it doesn’t end in love well ??? guess you could fuck
and if you don’t fuck well ?? you got to go outside and get some fresh air
BUT
the idea of blind dating makes you squirm
the uncertainty which comes along with the situation is intimidating
honestly, part of you is worried you’ll end up making a mortal enemy at dinner, not a lover
the other portion is petrified you’ll end up on a date with a murderer
what if it ends up like that one netflix show and you end up getting stalked????
you shudder at that thought
BE OPTIMISTIC Y/N!! YUP YUP OPTIMIST ERA!!!
Tumblr media
levi feels the same way but his version of nervous is very different to your own
his fears are very different
what if his date appears prim and proper but it’s really just a huge facade hiding how their house is a pigsty?
imagine the third date in is a movie night in and he walks into a landfill site...
what if his date chews their food obnoxiously loud?
what if they just dislike him?
that’s why ideally he would prefer dating someone he knows beforehand
but there’s no one he knows already that he’s interested in
that’s exactly why when hange calls levi and asks him if he’s willing to go on a blind date on such short notice he scoffs and tells them that maybe if they got a life they would know that his answer is a straight no
he’s used to people not pairing well with him
he guesses it’s because of his sardonic personality, maybe it’s his occupation - he is constantly busy after all. perhaps it’s his foul mouth
erwin told him the last time he had a date that he should probably ease up on the cursing but it’s levi...
he isn’t going to change for anyone.
and really if him being little mean is that much of a deal breaker he won’t bother looking for anyone
he’ll go it solo he supposes
“LEVI. PLEASE. you both would fit together like jigsaw pieces.” hange is practically begging
then they stop for a second and wiggle their eyebrows “that can have many alternative meaningssss~”
levi purses his lips and shoots them a hard glare
“shut it, i’m not going. i’m busy.”
“busy doing.....?”
“cleaning i need t-”
“NO??? do it some other time please they’re smart, fun AND not boring at all.”
hange gives him a pleading look then explains how his mystery date has already agreed for sasha’s sake and he really can’t stand you up
“you want me to go on a blind date with one of SASHA BRAUS’ friends????”
he looks at hange in utter disbelief because that means you just have to be loud mouthed and annoying like jean or connie
or just be as stupidly unfunny
he shakes his head rejecting the idea completely
“i enjoy sophisticated people.”
hange sighs heavily
“give it a chance! c’monnn what if i bribe you?”
little does levi know hange and sasha have purposefully picked you out because of the way you’re both polar opposites
where levi loves order you’re disorderly, where he follows his own rules you don’t follow any at all, where he is disagreeable you’re agreeable in every way of the word
where he is cold, you are warm, he’s a night owl, you’re an early bird, you’re day and he’s night
everything about the two of you is different
that isn’t necessarily bad, but sasha and hange find it hilarious enough to set you both up on this date
if it fails it’ll still be funny
Tumblr media
you’re rummaging through your closet looking for your favourite perfume because to be frank you are NOT showing up unprepared
like?? what if he moves in to hug you and he smells the scent of the chicken you were cooking today
yeah you did have a shower but sometimes you wonder if the smell lingers
you KNOW it doesn’t but it’s a matter of principle
imagine he leans in and smells marinated chicken
you think you’d die on the spot if that were to ever happen
shoving a pack of mints in your purse along with your emergency pepper spray you give your outfit a once over
it’s nothing too extravagant but it’ll do the job
at this point, everything is great! you’re walking out of your door and you’re pumped up
you’ll be early for once and there’s a spring in your step
making a good first impressions is key here
you’re so close to your uber BUT
then you hear it
it’s almost inaudible but you’re sure you hear a mewl come out of the alleyway to your right
you’re about to ignore it because you aren’t even sure if you’ve heard it correctly
and it’s late you don’t feel like wandering into an empty alleyway
but the sound only repeats itself
fuck.
cautiously venturing inside you see it.
eyes softening you look at the stray kitten in front of you and bite your bottom lip and scoop him up in your arms you’re debating if running back to your apartment and leaving him there is the best option
what’s the other option?
well you could bring the cat along with you...
it would be a funny story for the future if the date goes well
Tumblr media
now. unlike you levi is nowhere near late
in fact he’s ten minutes early waiting promptly outside of the restaurant in his white button up
he fiddles with his collar and wonders how the actual hell he got talked into doing this
hange offering to buy him cleaning supplies free of charge is probably it
8:15pm, you were meant to be here five minutes ago
if you’ve stood him up he’s going to end hange for wasting his precious free time
especially when he rarely interrupts his schedule for anyone.
a few moments of silence pass and he thinks
how do you look?
not like it matters to him
but he’d just like to know
Tumblr media
okay, so.
it’s 8:30pm now
levi is royally pissed off that you even have the audacity to show up
you’re holding your knees as you puff in and out
“I’M SORRY. i know i’ve wasted all your time but i saw a stray on my way here and i couldn’t leave him”
the updo your hair is in is disheveled and fly aways stick out
you’ve ran here after your uber broke down that much is obvious.
to be fair, your explanation is believable and he would have let it slide if and only if
you had NOT brought the fucking cat along with you???
he’s eyeing it with disgust as it purrs up against you and you coo at it stroking its fur
“you want to sneak a cat into the restaurant?” he asks in pure disbelief
sheepishly grinning and scratching the back of your neck your response is “well i know we can’t but if you tried to i wouldn’t mind because i really like this cat :-(”
when hange said he’d have fun they were lying
but at least they didn’t lie about you not being boring.
he picks the cat up with one of his hands
looks it in the eyes
sighs then places him carefully into your purse
“don’t let him be seen.”
you light up and try to hide the grin forming on your face
he isn’t that bad
he’s a little too serious for your liking but you can handle that.
the two of you walk into the restaurant and fuck you because the cat has to start mewling and screeching
coughing rather aggressively to cover it up it miraculously goes unheard
he shoots you a sturdy glare because he’s able to hear the muffled sounds
luckily, no one else is standing near you or is within earshot.
gulping you realise this is not a good first impression at all
late to the date, bringing a cat with you, begging him to help you sneak the cat in
you feel guilty, he probably expected way better
“oi, move your ass” he snaps
you look up realising you’ve been too lost in thought to see levi walking in front of you
“sorry” you mumble
he doesn’t respond but he does look back at you
you can’t gather anything from his face because it’s either plain or he’s got his brows furrowed
currently it’s showing no signs of distaste so he must be accepting your apology
he’s kind enough, steps out of the way to offer you the space to sit down first
he sits after you and you have no idea where to look
then the cat cries again from your purse
“lucifer, shhhhh”
you’re patting him and try to silence him
“you’ve named it already?”
laughing to yourself you’re happy he’s initiated the conversation first
“he’s a little sneaky so i called him it. do you have any other names you’d like?”
“why would my input in this matter be relevant?”
“you’re basically his family now!”
he’s covering his mouth with his hands and you swear you can see the pink tinge of a blush creep upwards and flood his cheeks
but this man doesn’t seem like the type to blush over anything.
composing himself he sticks a hand out and finally asks “what’s your name?”
coming back to your senses you realize it’s been twenty minutes since you’ve met and you haven’t even had the manners to ask his name even after arriving late
“Y/N!! what’s yours?”
play it cool!!!
he doesn’t respond instead stares at your purse and points with his index finger
lucifer has escaped again and now you really are regretting bringing him along with you
whilst you’re grabbing the cat and hushing him your date hums “try to guess it.”
well, that’s spontaneous, he doesn’t seem like the type to entertain himself with games
you think hard, he’s serious but he is kind, you guess that’s why he reminds you of sebastian from the little mermaid
get it? because he’s sweet but he’s a crab so he’s crabby??
god that joke is AWFUL because it doesn't even take into account the actual character of sebastian the crab
but you have no other guesses available.
“hmm... sebastian?” you jokingly ask
“it’s levi.” he deadpans.
oh wow you couldn’t be more far off
playing around with your fingers in your lap you fidget nervously looking around for a waiter to interrupt the conversation
levi has to sense your unease because his tone loosens up
“...do i really look like a sebastian though?”
looking back up at him your bite your lip keeping a giggle in
you can sense the ghost of a smile on his face
“yeah like the crab from a little mermaid”
at that he scowls but he inquires what exactly that means
Tumblr media
the rest of the date goes without a hitch, sure there’s a few moments where lucifer attempts to sneak away but levi has no problems stopping him
it takes a while but the conversation flows easily after the awkward barrier from before is broken down
it’s lighthearted and calm.
he’s humorous in a way you can’t describe
levi’s mannerisms are cute, everything about him is endearing despite the serious front he has
and you can’t quite put your finger on it but his demeanor is charming
overall you find yourself enjoying the date even more than you expected
now the two of you are walking away from the booth and the fresh night time air hits your face as you step outside
turning to him you smile radiantly and without allowing him to get a word in you take your opportunity by the reins
“second date?”
you don’t normally make the first move but you’re eager
and to your surprise he’s just as eager as you are.
it doesn’t even look like he stops to think before he nods and agrees to meet with you again.
exchanging numbers with him you wave as you and lucifer part ways with levi feeling satisfied
and to his shock after you leave it settles, levi thinks he just might enjoy your presence
well, that’s a first for him.
he guesses what they say about opposites attracting is true

You walked backwards and forwards as you thought about how to talk to your lover. You had lived for a thousand years and Levi was the first person you'd ever fallen in love with. Levi was your everything and you wanted so badly to spend eternity with him, but you were scared.
You were scared that Levi's love might be a lie. You were scared that he'd run. You were scared he'd fall out of love. You were scared that you might be left alone. You didn't know if after Levi rejected or left you that you'd ever be able to love another person. Levi was truly your everything.
You flinched a little when Levi came home. You smiled as he ran over to you and wrapped his arms around you. You hugged Levi tightly with a blush on your cheeks as he decorated your cheek in kisses.
Levi pulled back and smiled at you. "I missed you today." He released a long sigh as his body relaxed due to your presence. "I got approval to work from home. So, I can be with you. Isn't that great?"
You hummed a laugh at his excitable words. "It is. I'll make you a cup of tea as a welcome home."
Levi watched you with keen eyes as you moved around in the kitchen. "Thank you." He leaned on the counter and admire you. As he watched you he noticed something was off. "What's wrong?"
You glanced over at Levi. "Nothing really."
He pushed away from the counter before making his way over to you. "You can tell me anything." He placed his hand on your hip and tugged you close. "You're safe with me." He caressed your cheek. "You can tell me anything."
You leaned into his touch and felt some sense of hope that he truly loved you and would be with you for eternity. "I have been worrying about something to do with me and us."
Levi tilted his head as he gazed at you with a deep love in his eyes. "Okay."
You released a long sigh but it did not ease anything within you. "You know how I heal easily and quickly?"
He nodded as he took your hands. "I've noticed."
You clenched your jaw as you felt your anxiety nip away at you. "I'm immortal and I'm actually one thousand years old. I can turn someone into an immortal once a millennium." You leaned against the wall and whined a little as you began to worry. "I have a chance to turn someone. I love you from the bottom of my heart and you're the only man I have ever loved. I want to be with you for as long as possible, but I'm scared. I'm scared you'll say no, or you'll leave me after getting immortality, or you'll fall out of love with me over the years. I just...I worry so much and I can't lose you. I can-."
"Shh." He cupped your face. "Breathe for me. Remember your breathing techniques." He helped you control your breathing. "Good girl. That's it."
You lowered your head and felt slight shame inside you. "S-sorry. I just...I'm worried. I don't want to lose you."
Levi lifted your head and smiled softly at you. "You won't." He gently kissed you makig you both tingle. "You won't lose me because I will never ever leave you. I love you too much to walk away." He hummed a laugh. "I will devote my life and eternity to you. I want to live for you. I want to walk through forever with you. I love you and I never want to leave you." He kissed you again with his lips lingering a little longer. "I love you." He said your name against your lips. "I love you. I want to be with you for eternity. Please?"
You smiled brightly as you cried a little with joy and love in your heart. "Yes. Yes Levi. You and me for eternity. I'll give you the gift of immortality."
Levi hummed a laugh. "This means we're married."
Your cheeks burned as you nodded in agreement. "Yes, you're right."
"Good. I so desperately want you to be my wife and now I have you got eternity. It's perfect."

🕯Anon said : Can I request headcanons with a Modern Au Teacher!Erwin and his s/o is a slightly famous artist like a painter that’s always in the basement. Maybe have a moment where the art teacher begs him to bring them to the school when they find out who Erwin is with. ? 🕯
Teacher!Erwin brings you, a famous painter, to work.
{ Erwin x Reader | tw:none | fluff, suggestive kiss | modern }
Tumblr media
{ "Leisurely Sunday in the Villa Comunale in Naples" 1993 by Francesco Tammaro Born in 1939 }
Grassy fields surrounded the old big building as the trees undressing of their leaves onto the sidewalks, currently being swept away by the janitor.
Students were filling the halls, the sound of chatter and laughter following after. Outside in the yard, the whistle of the gym teacher could be heard following by heavy footsteps as the football team started their morning practice. Not long after the bell rang, the halls were empty again only for some crumbled papers and snack covers left behind.
"Pigs, all of them. There's a trashcan right there." Levi scrunched his nose at the smell of axe spray and deodorant near the trophy cases. "Tell Miche to spray his running monkeys with soap every once in a while."
"Now now, what got you so grumpy this early in the morning?" Adjusting the lab coat on their suit, Hange replied. "Oh cut the kids some slack, their big game is coming soon or something."
"And he's been implenting a more strick hygiene policy." Said Erwin, holding a plastic binder with a stack of exam papers, mostly marked red. "He's trying to convince the principal to ban deodorant during practice because it's making his nose burn."
Huffing in response, Levi crossed his arms. "Yeah because the principle will definitely listen to him after that whole sniffing people scandal- Hey! Brats, don't you have classes"
As Levi went to scold the two students currently hanging a handmade poster for the upcoming game on the wall, a couple of students came up to Hange, looking in a hurry as they explained the Science lab was locked and they're getting tired of sitting on their backpacks outside.
Soon after, Erwin too made his way to class.
Upon entering the room, the talking quieted down as the squeaking sound of people going back to their own desks followed. Walking upfront, Erwin dropped the binder on his desk beside the empty mug, a couple of groans filled the room as the students realised what it was.
"Mr.Smith, didn't we just take the test yesterday? Shouldn't you like...I don't know double check or something? Maybe you rushed grading them?" One student called from the back as some chuckles and agreement followed from the rest.
Taking the stacks of papers out, Erwin made his way between the students, giving each on their graded paper. "I don't know Connie, maybe you should've double checked your answers instead?"
The playful atmosphere of the classroom was cut short as the door slammed open, making everyone freeze in their seats, none other than the art teacher walked in.
Nile Dawk, current art teacher who fails at least a quarter of his class each year. Who has oh just the most swell relationship with Erwin and anyone can tell you that.
You see, Erwin adored art, both the classic and the modern. Nile admired history and knew just how each art era had its link to a historical event.
And the pair couldn't stand each other.
Crossing his arms, Nile said "Erwin, you have explaining to do." Before dropping a newly printed magazine onto his desk,
Its cover, showing a brand new art museum that just finished construction and is hosting a lot of different paintings from unrecognised underground talents.
"Nile, I think you misunderstand. I teach history, I'm not an architect." He said raising an eyebrow, before tilting his head as if he's deep in thought, "or do you want me to explain what a museum is?"
Sneering at his remark, Nile flipped through the pages till he reached a certain one. It depicted a one of the paintings that will be displayed in the museum, a portrait of a blond man with broad shoulders and sharp blue eyes seemingly distracted from reality by the book in his hand.
The soft glow of the fireplace next to the red armchair he sat in, adding a certain orange hue to his light complexion. His long fingers holding the leather book as a glass-stained maroon vase sat on the small table behind him, containing a single red rose.
It's clear from the details poured into his eyes and the shading for each strand of his hair that whoever made this painting, held a great affection for the man.
"Now Mr.history teacher, care to explain why your face is on this painting? By one of the few promising artists of this useless generation?."
Hushed murmurs filled the classroom as students took out their phones googling the name y/n, showing each other the said painting while staring with wide eyes at Erwin.
Rubbing his temple with his fingers, Erwin frowned at the scene the other was causing. Knowing very well it won't take long for this fire to spread, he decided to add more fuel to the flames.
He took a long breath, before telling the class to quiet down with a stern expression.
"Mr.Dawk, are you really asking me why y/n, my love, the person I'm married to, paint me?" He said facing the other, looking directly into his eyes. "Maybe you should ask y/n instead if you're so insisting on forcing yourself in my private life."
Narrowing his eyes, Nile snorted. "You know what Erwin? Maybe I should.
And that's the story Erwin told you while having dinner that day.
He looks at you with pleading eyes as if to silently apologise for dragging you into this mess, his plate still half full and drink untouched.
Please reassure him that it's alright, you don't mind taking a day off to visit his work
He'll reach out to gently squeeze your hand in his, whispering a small thank you as his thumb rubs against your skin.
He also says he'll do the dishes that day, you can go rest and he will join you in bed after a while, a relieved smile on his face.
The next day, as he wakes up early like usual. He makes sure to wake you up with a kiss, stroking your face before murmuring "good morning" against your lips.
He knows because of your work you don't wake up early, so he's really patient and understanding if you happen to get grumpy for a while.
Handing you a warm drink to help wake you up, he'll make sure you eat something before changing and heading out.
You're not surprised to find him already done and dressed himself.
Hair as perfect as usual.
On the drive to school, you'll feel the cool morning air against your skin while your head leans back into the seat, eyes fluttering shut.
You can have your mini nap, Erwin will make sure to wake you up when you arrive.
When arriving, he made sure to open the car door for you. The fresh air and green scenery surrounded you both.
When arriving at the teacher's lounge, you're almost surprised to see two people already there from how early it was.
The first was sitting on the old black couch near the window, his dirty blond bangs covering his eyes. The second you could see making tea on the other side of the room Where the kitchenware was.
Both of them glanced up when Erwin called their name, staring at the way he had an arm wrapped around your waist while introducing you.
It was Miche who came first, standing from the couch you noticed just how tall he was. Offering your hand for him to shake, only for him to pull you into a tight hug instead.
He pulled away, tapping his nose before a smile slowly formed on his face, nodding in approval
The second was Levi, who ignored your offered hand only to sip on his teacup, assessing you up and down.
Not too long after, a person with a messy ponytail and a colorful lab coat arrived.
They took one glance at you, then the matching wedding rings on yours and Erwins fingers before taking an immediate interest in you.
Hange asked questions faster than you can answer them, with sparkling eyes and a wide smile.
At the first sign of you being uncomfortable, it was Levi who stepped in to tell Hange to tone it down before apologizing to you.
And it was Miche who got you some snacks from the teacher's secret stash after.
You've heard stories and one sided phone calls about them from Erwin, yet it still didn't prepare you for actually meeting them.
While overwhelming at first, the more time you spent talking as Erwin reassuringly sat beside you, you noticed how genuinely interested they were.
Levi, while seemingly cold, was actually the most considerate and paid the most attention to you. He'd step in whenever things got too much and would be really polite despite having a colourful language. By the end of it he even made you some tea, something that seemed to surprise Erwin and the rest.
"It's just...he never trusted someone this quickly before."
Hange was genuinely interested in you, having researched you and your art beforehand. They really were eager to hear even the most boring details and were capable of understanding your way of thinking. They even gave you a small rubber frog they carried around in their pocket to hand out. It would've been cute wasn't for the fact immediately after they mentioned the real human skeleton they have pinned to the lab door.
"His name is bean! I've been actually investing into getting him a human heart for Valentine's day, but all the ones I've found so far were in jars."
The most quiet of them was actually Miche, although he'd smile at you whenever you looked his way. Despite his intimidating size you learned how harmless and easy going he is, the most chill out of the three. He did mention knowing Erwin for the longest time out of them, having been childhood friends even. He promised to tell you all the embarrassing secrets Erwin tried to erase from existence as he added his number on your phone.
"He ain't as proper as he looks, I got the dirt on him."
You saw Erwin's jaw tightening before he changed the subject quickly, giving the side eye to Miche who only smiled back.
The rest of the day went by smoothly, Erwin didn't leave your side for one minute and made sure to check on you constantly.
He introduced you to the rest of the teachers and seemed only amused at any teasing he got from students passing by.
By the end of the day, as the sun began to set and the students already done with their clubs, you and Erwin had one final place to go.
The art classroom.
"Just one more thing before that" he told you, guiding you into an empty classroom.
You saw his desk, the mug you gifted him on father's day as a joke sat on his desk, several paper sketches you made were framed next to it.
It was his classroom, with only you and him, the door open.
He closed it.
You stood against his desk as he moved closer, arms circling you, not breaking eye contact.
"May I?" He whispered, licking his own lips.
As he got your permission, he pressed his lips against yours, arm stroking your back before pulling away after some seconds.
He rubbed your swollen bottom lip with his thumb, a small smile on his face before pulling away.
Your heart was still fluttering against your chest as you left the classroom, while Erwin seemed to be smiling at nothing with a slight curl to his lips, steps more lighter than before.
Right after that he took you to the art classroom. The smell of oil paint and sound of brushes scratching against paper filling the air.
Stepping inside, the scratching sound stopped as a certain black haired man stared at you, eyes wide and lips parted.
Disbelief clear in his face, Nile was quick to mask his emotions as he noticed the smugness Erwin was in.
"Nile, I'd like to introduce you to my lovely darling, y/n." There was a chipper to Erwin's voice as he leaned in to kiss your cheek.
