since the bbc aren’t much help, i’m here to say if you’re a fan of camp horror comedies you should definitely watch “wreck” on the bbc! it’s got mystery elements, lots of cool plot twists; it’s super funny and bloody and very very queer!! the main characters are a gay guy and a lesbian and their friendship is very important to the show!
series 1 is all on iplayer in the uk and is a super fun watch, and series 2 starts tonight!! 10pm on bbc 3!! tune in & hopefully it’ll be one of the few gay shows to be renewed instead of cancelled! 🪓🏳️🌈
For anyone uncertain about whether to give War of Y a chance: watch it. I had my doubts about the first episode, but it really didn’t pull it’s punches. It’s one of the few times I’ve actually appreciated how uncomfortable I was while watching. BillySeng are also great together, as expected, but the amount of heavy content Seng delivers this episode really deserves mentioning. The contrast with his character in SCOY is enormous.
…now which beautiful soul is going to give translations of the onscreen text? That’s my only complaint so far. But at least they included actual curses *cough* KinnPorsche *cough* 😶
I've been thinking about the Channel 4 TV series "Big Boys" quite a lot for its heartfelt plot, raunchy humour and beautiful representation of male friendships, especially between a gay boy and a straight boy, among many other things that this show does wonderfully. And I've been wondering if it was gonna get that second season. And then I caught wind of this article and got very excited and now I need you all to watch the first season of this incredible show to get excited with me!! 🩵

Mini-review:
We've finally reached the end of Young Royals, which has remained as enjoyable as always until its very last second. I must admit I felt like the show kept going in circles during these final episodes, and like maybe they took the angst a bit too far this time round. On top of that, sometimes subtlety went out the window when it came to handling certain social issues. But still, the finale itself was so f**king perfect and cathartic that it more than made up for any problems. I will definitely miss this show, cause these characters are so well-written and brilliantly-acted that you can't help but immerse yourself in their world.
