That's the artwork I made for the @bohnobeh project as support to the lgtb people! I had the opportunity to choose among several lesbians icons and I went for the beautiful Kristen Stewart! . The technique is mixed. I used a pencil for the outlines and added some bright pink with photoshop! . I love it 🖤! . #lgtbsupport #kirstenowen #bohnobeh #lgtbworld #drawing #sketchbook #sketching #illustrationoftheday #drawingoftheday #artoninstagram #artistsoninstagram #pencilwork @kirstenstewartofficial (presso Antwerp, Belgium) https://www.instagram.com/p/CCQ5myxgn6j/?igshid=x7jfg7sra0ri

ENG: I really admire people who are so strong to accept themselves as they are, every day is fought for equality to these people, because they do not stop being people for having other tastes. I support the LGBT movement, I am heterosexual, but I am in favor of total social acceptance! #pride #pridemonth #pridesupport #lgtb #lgtbsupport #mmd #dance #motion #models 3d #flamingo #kerokerobonito #animation #rainbow https://www.instagram.com/p/BypJCf0Jtbs/?igshid=124p5c82ylgao

Marriage Equality
So today the Supreme Court is (in a way) making History by beginning to bring up whether or not to approve Gay Marriage rights. To be honest: I hope they decide it to be legal. Let me tell you why:
I've taken Religion classes and I always found religions regarding the Bible, the Book of Jonah and others to be interesting, mainly because of what is considered "sin/taboo" then is considered a normal concept nowadays. When people argue that the United States was 'brought up Christian', you have to think about the fact that when the Pilgrims first came over on the Mayflower, we have a whole mix of religions. Yes, Christianity was one of those many religions, but we didn't follow it as closely as others keep claiming we have...
During lunch today, my friend - who takes a difficult dialogues class, where they discuss religions and such - mention that the Bible (which is an Anthology) contradicts itself on various occasions. Plus, as my World Religions teacher would always say: "The bible is out of date." There are any number of entries that makes no sense in our current time period. As said friend said: it is a sin to be fat. Jesus said to treat your body like a temple. We Americans do NOT do that (there are some that do, but a majority of us do not care for health foods and such).
I would like to mention that Jesus said to "Love thy brother" and "Love thy neighbor." Hating on Gay's and Lesbian's is NOT loving thy brother/neighbor. So yeah.
In the local newspaper, I was reading someone's comment in the "Athens's Voice" section it has, and I couldn't agree more with their statement. To put it simply, they said something along the lines of "being against gay marriage has resorted to nothing but political bigotry" which is true. They ended the comment with "Gays have as little choice in their orientation as left-handers. NONE." This quote is great! I especially appreciate it because I myself am left handed, and my father was (at one point) left handed, but because it was considered "wrong and dirty" in the '70's and he was forced to learn to use his right hand instead - and thank god that idea ran dry!! To prove this quote further, in Sociology, Sexual Orientation is not a choice - it has been proven with one simple question: "What day did you wake up and decide you were going to be Heterosexual?" The answer is most likely never (though there are some people I know who do it for attention, but that's another topic for another day).
To put it simply. The Supreme Court needs to ignore anyone who exclaims quotes from the Bible, etc. That's WHY we have the separation of Church and State! I have many friends who are gay/lesbian that are just as human as I am and should have the same rights that I do.
I support LGTB and Marriage Equality.
