“This isn't so silly now, is it?”

Your friend looks at you, her hand on her hip. You can't help but roll your eyes. “I never said this was silly,” You deadpan at her. “I said–”

“‘The idea of wanting to go camping before you give birth is silly’.” She uses air quotes around the words.

“Yeah! The idea, not the action, Cynthia.” You bite back.

She rolls her eyes this time. She looks at the tent the both of you set up —mostly you— and smiles to herself. You can’t help but smile too. You groan at yourself and walk over to her. You pat her on the back.

“You’re right.” She looks at you, “This isn’t silly. I’m just–”

“A hater. I get it! I love you for it!” Her words stun you. You cross your arms at her and scowl. You grunt and walk away from her. “Hey!” She turns to you, “Where are you going?”

You click your tongue, “Gotta get wood for a fire, silly.” She gives you an enthusiastic ‘thank you’ and you walk off towards the treeline. The sun is setting and there is a horrible feeling settling in your gut. “You’re just a hater…” You mumble to yourself. “Nothing bad is going to happen.” You inhale sharply and walk into the woods. You grab some branches that look pretty burnable and rush back out to your campsite.

Cynthia says nothing about rushed actions, instead she motions for you to place the branches in the spot she made for the wood. You set it down and Cynthia grabs the lighter fluid. She douses the branches and sets them ablaze. 

She smiles and sits down a few feet from the fire and you watch her. She places her hands on her stomach and closes her eyes. She looks content. Genuinely, and utterly content. You sigh. One of her eyes squint open and she pats the ground beside. You don’t hesitate to sit down with her.

“What’s wrong?”

Your stomach flips. In a horrible way.

“I don’t know.” You look at the fire before staring up at the full moon. Your eyes cut back to her and she pats you on the thigh.

“We’ve been friends forever, you can tell me anything.” She gives you a soft smile.

“My stomach hurts.” It’s not a complete lie.

“Sorry, babes,” She shakes her head, “can’t help you there.”

“I guess–” You pause. “You’re so happy. Like, glowing… I want that too. What are you doing?” You let out an awkward laugh. Her face drops. “It’s not that I’m not happy, I just– I’m not happy like you.”

“Oh, sweetie,” She pulls you into a soft hug, her ‘mom voice’ coming out. “I promise, I’m not always thrilled. I mean, I’m about to be a single mom… That’s terrifying. But I do have you, and that means a lot to me.” Her hand rubs your back. “When we get back from this trip, we can do something you want to do!” She pulls away and presses her forehead to yours. “I promise.”

You close your eyes, nodding. “That means a lot,” You smile. Cynthia pulls away and you sigh. You can’t help but still feel sick. A loud whine comes from the trees behind you. An animal dying. You tense.

“Get in the tent.” You don’t even look at Cynthia, your eyes are laser focused on the woods.

“It’s probably wolves or something…” She doesn't argue though. Cynthia crawls into the tent and waits for you. You don’t get in fast enough.

Something big moves in your peripheral vision. You look up and want to scream, no noise comes out. Cynthia sees the pure shock on your face before she registers what’s going on. You're tackled to the ground by some creature. You figure it’s not an animal or a man. Definitely not a man. Its claws are large, too large to belong to an animal you know, and ripping into you in seconds.

A scream finally rips from your mouth. Cynthia doesn't move. You hope she doesn’t come out of that tent. You’re overpowered instantly; the creature gnashing its teeth above you, its claws rip into your stomach. Another one of your screams echoes through the woods. You look over at the tent.

Cynthia isn’t in the tent.

Your eyes widen. You don’t move.

“Get off– Get back!” Cynthia screams, her voice full of rage and fear. You can’t see what she’s doing but, suddenly, the creature removes itself from you and takes off away from the both of you. Your eyes cut to her. She’s standing there, holding a burning stick. Tears fill her eyes.

“Sweetie,” She’s using her mom voice again, you look at her with shock filled eyes. Adrenaline is dwindling, she sees it. “I need you to stay with me…” She’s fumbling for her phone. “I have service!” She calls what you can only assume is authorities, and everything is starting to fade in and out. She gives the operator the location and she’s trying to keep you focused on her. “Please, stay awake… I can’t lose you…”

You open your mouth to speak, but you are out. You’re too far gone to even comprehend what you want to say. You let the darkness take over. So much for doing whatever you wanted to do.

You sit at the coffee shop, eyes looking at the laptop screen in front of you. Your eyes move down to the time and your heart is in your throat when you see the date. It doesn’t get easier it seems. You know what day it is, really, you are always aware. But, seeing it makes it so real. You inhale sharply and look back at the screen.

You’re doing your annual “What The Fuck Attacked Me in Those Woods” research. It’s hard to constantly look things up. And, every year around the time of the attack, things become fresh. The scars, and the thoughts. It may be the worst time to look things up, but it’s the only time you want to.

So far, you’ve found a big wolf, a bigger bear (which you are sure it wasn’t either of those), and… A werewolf. That doesn’t make sense either though. Not completely. It fits the description of whatever attacked you. But those aren’t real. You sigh and continue looking at the pictures.

You come across an article. Someone claiming ‘a large creature’ (a werewolf, they are sure) had attacked their livestock. You want to look away when you catch images of the poor animals, but you can’t… You’re too busy comparing the marks on the sheep to the marks on your stomach.

It’s adding up…

“Whatcha lookin’ up?”

You almost jump out of your skin. A yelp escapes you and slam your laptop shut. “Gaz!” You whisper, swatting at him. “What the hell?”

“Sorry,” He puts his hands up and sits across from you, “but really… Were you looking up werewolves?” He raises a brow. He sounds playful. If only he knew you weren't playing.

Your brows furrow and your lips turn downward into a pout. “I’m not in the mood.”

Gaz immediately apologizes. “My bad,” he pauses. He watches you closely as you grab your coffee and take a sip. “Are you alright?”

You only nod. “I will be.” You solemnly sigh. Your eyes peer up at Gaz, his wheels are turning.

“Would now be a bad time to ask you out?”

You are certain the shock on your face is visible from across the coffee shop. Your jaw drops and you stare at him. Gaz shifts. You swallow hard and compose yourself. “Um, actually, I don’t think there would be a bad time for you to ask that.”

He is relieved. You see him relax. He gives you a toothy grin and you can’t help but return the smile. “What about tonight?” His confidence is back.

“Yes!” You are excited, you cannot help but feel so excited. “I mean, yeah, that's fine.” You rub your hands down your thighs and try to act nonchalant.

Gaz’s smile turns cheeky. “Perfect.” He jots something down on a piece of paper and hands it to you. His number. “I'm surprised I haven't given this to you yet, but here.” He stands from his seat. “I have work to do today, but tonight I'm all yours.” He winks at you.

Heat bristles across your cheeks. You nod at him as he leaves. You pick up your phone and quickly put his number in. You send a text to him, letting him know it's you. You slip your phone into your jacket pocket and bite the inside of your lip. You put your computer in your bag and begin to leave yourself. Your mind is running faster than you can keep up with.

Maybe it doesn't have to be a bad day after all.

As you're leaving the coffee shop you pull out your phone. One new message.

I forgot to tell you what I have planned for tonight

Your stomach knots. You want so badly to know. Maybe not knowing will help you grow. You trust Gaz.

Your face is burning again. You respond with an ‘okay’ and send a thumbs up emoji. You smile all the way home.

You open the door of your apartment and are greeted with a shrill scream of your name. You close the door and small arms wrap around your legs. You smile down at the child.

“Hey, booger.” You hug back. “Where's your mom?”

Footsteps come from another room and the child points towards the noise. Cynthia walks in and smiles at you. Her eyes narrow and she hums. “You seem… oddly happy.”

“Is that bad?”

“No, no!” She shakes her head. “It's good. Great! I know you were upset this morning… Did something turn your morning around?”

You shrug. “Maybe.” You smile at her. She perks up. “I'm going on a date tonight.” You are nonchalant this time. Playing it cool for your friend.

She runs towards you and hugs you, her daughter in between you and her. She squeals. Cynthia pulls away and smiles widely at you, after apologizing to her child who runs off. “For real?” When you nod, she continues. “With your coffee shop crush?”

You nod again. “He stopped by today just to ask me out…” Your stomach flips at the thought of that. You want to scream at how sweet he is.

“What's his name, anyway?”

You haven't told anyone his name. You met him a week ago and didn't want to jinx anything. You didn't dare mess anything up for yourself. Now, you feel obligated to at least tell Cynthia his name. “Kyle.”

“Know anything about him?” She cocks a brow.

“Well, we've only been talking for a week. I'm sure I know more about him than he does about me though… He’s ex-military. I know he works with his old military colleagues. I also know he has the prettiest eyes I've ever seen and is the sweetest man I've ever met.” You smile at her.

Cynthia beams at you. “I'm happy for you! We've lived here a week and you're already among progress.”

“Now I have all day to think about this date…” You pause, remembering your search from earlier. “Cynthia, I looked more up about–”

Cynthia’s eyes snap from her child and to you. “Sweetie,” her voice is soft but full of worry. “It's okay to not know what it was…”

“Maybe for you!” You keep from shouting. “Cynthia… I found someone saying something attacked their livestock and the marks looked like mine.” You whisper. “What they described is the only thing I can describe.”

“What'd they say?” She whispers back.

“Werewolf.” It's the only word that falls from your lips.

Cynthia tenses. She mumbled your name and sighs. “I know you want to know what happened that night– But maybe… Maybe it's best we don't know.”

That is her way of saying that werewolves aren't real. You bite your tongue. “At least I know I'm not crazy.”

Her eyes widen. “You aren't crazy. I saw what you saw!” She stops herself from raising her voice any further. “I have a bad feeling about this. Maybe it's best we let this lie.”

You keep from rolling your eyes. “Whatever.” You walk to your room and close your door. Inhaling sharply, you begin to find something to wear for your date. You have the rest of the day ahead of you, but you want to be ready. You see an old sheer top and scrunch your nose. You wonder why you still have it. It's not ugly, but…

You lift up your shirt slightly and look down at the raised skin stretching from the middle of your ribs down to below your belly button. The scar is big, gnarly, and reminds you too much of the attack to wear that sheer top.

“Hey!” A knock comes from the other side of your door and it swings open. You drop your shirt.

“Amelia–”

“I knocked.” She smiles at you. “Are you comin’ to my party?” Her eyes are big and round and sweet.

You nod. “I'm just going out tonight. Your party is tomorrow, silly.” You pat her on the head.

“Good.” She pats your thigh. “I'll be…” She pauses.

“Four.”

Amelia smiles even wider. “Yeah! Four!”

You can't help but smile. “Okay, Amelia, go to your mother.” You shoo her from your room. She exits as fast as she entered and you sigh. You shake your head and look back at your closet. “At least I have all day to figure out ‘something cute’ for tonight…”

Hi! I just read through your post defending Logan (I reblogged it with a kinda-long addition haha) and I just wanted to say thank you for putting that out there. I hadn't done all the research or known any of the specifics, I just knew about his insane ability and potential. I love that you said you'd defend him with your life, because I feel the exact same way. I feel like there's so much power in your post, if that makes sense... it's one thing to see reblogs of logan videos with captions saying "how could you hate him 😢" and stuff (which no hate to anyone who does, I'm guilty of doing this too and I don't think there's anything wrong with it!!) But I just think it's so special and so important that you actually went out of your way to do the research, learn the info, and share and demonstrate just how remarkable he really is.

I'm sorry this ended up being so long!! All this to say, truly thank you so much for defending him, and honestly I'd love to be your friend because you seem like such an amazing person and I need more LS2 defender friends 😅

hi !! thank you so much for your kind words , this was so lovely to read in response to my logan post 🥹 i genuinely did not expect it to gain as much traction as it did , i was just upset one day and decided i needed to write that post about him so that others can gain some perspective on him and his situation . and i fully agree about what you said concerning reblogs of logan videos !! yes i agree , there's nothing wrong with reblogging videos / photos of him and captioning them "how could you hate him :(" because i , too , have done the same ! but not everything knows the full scope and extent of his career and talent capabilities , hence the need for further explanation on why we could never hate him . logan haters see posts about logan with captions like "how could you hate him :(" and don't get an explanation for why he's better than everyone thinks . often times , they end up thinking we just love him because he's cute and has a good personality -- which he does , and i love that about him !! but there's more to him than just those things , and understanding WHY he's a good driver and WHY we love him outside of the surface level version of him we've seen thus far in f1 is so so so important .

and it becomes especially important when logan haters only see his career in f1 so far and don't see the little wins he's had along the way . they focus solely on his crashes , the "destructor's championship" , and how alex is doing in comparison to him . they seem to forget that alex has been in formula 1 longer than logan . they seem to forget the hardships that alex had -- must i remind us of his redbull years ?? they seem to forget that alex has had more time to develop his skill and become a better driver than logan . and it's such a frustrating thing , because logan is then immediately credited as a "bad driver" when he's nothing of the sort !! he just needs support from his team , the proper amount of experience before getting into f1 (though by now that's a little too late because of how quickly williams jumped him up to f1) , and he needs to be getting the same upgrades as his teammate ???? it's genuinely ridiculous that they're having him drive a car that's heavier and has outdated (2023 !!!) parts and expect him to do as well as his teammate who has a MUCH lighter car and new parts .

and no worries about your message being long !! i'm sorry that my response ended up being super long , too , haha -- i am just so so passionate about people knowing drivers' past before they jump to conclusions and hate on them . the drivers in f1 are there for a reason and they're the top 20 in the world . they were chosen for a reason . that means that logan sargeant was chosen for a reason , and they're treating him like crap currently . williams needs to shape up so that logan can start showing the most of his potential and show how good of a driver he is , rather than constantly being pushed out of a moving car onto the highway -- aka what they're doing to him now !!!

I was seeing people on twitter saying how season 3 ruined the shows reputation and I'm curious, why do you think season 3 is the way it is? I think you already talked about it but I can't recall

I have talked about ST3, specifically in how the team has capitalized on its "out of place" vibe. ST3 sets up basically every arc of ST4 while also being a blatant criticism of both the US and the USSR.

Mike complains about things being too expensive and the fact that he can't buy anything on the money he's given—not like he used to. The mall, in tandem, is portrayed as a money-sucking community-crushing behemoth that's putting local folks out of business behind a veneer of trendy fun. Criticism of capitalism on small and large scale, front and center.

Then we have the Russian lab, which exists to show us that the "other side" (often glorified by less-knowledgeable haters of capitalism) is no better. Their lab is doing the same thing HNL did! HNL isn't unique. The Russian lab is kidnapping, drugging, and torturing kids—a preview of NINA and of Sullivans torturing Wallace for information—and they're trying to force open a gate without actually having anyone with abilities—a preview of Vecna and the Shadow cobbling together their own non-Eleven method of opening gates.

The Russian lab arc also serves to set up the Russian prison arc, which takes Joyce and Hopper out of the US entirely just in time to reveal that woah! Vecna is Henry Creel? And he's someone Joyce and Hopper both would have known? Gotta get them entirely out of the picture so nothing goes wrong with Vecna's plan in Hawkins. Can't have anyone questioning whether or not that's actually Henry.

From there, the Russian prison arc also sets up future reveals for ST5, specifically regarding HNL's 1979 massacre, that would have been harder to work with if the entire arc had stayed within the CIA. Putting it in the KGB, the "enemy" of the US, also allowed for paralleling in storytelling about where Hopper ended up vs where Henry ended up and how the situation in Dimension X all went down. It also allowed for some hinting on making assumptions (see: the Jamie-lookalike "Evil Russian" who ends up being a harmless Jazzercise teacher), on people using variations of Henry as a fake name to break someone out of prison (see: Enzo's connections to the NINA arc), AND on people putting on acts to get a desired result (see: Jim putting on an act to antagonize Dmitri to escape the pit with a lighter and booze, as compared to TFS Brenner putting on an act to antagonize Henry into showing him the true extent of the Mindflayer vs Jim putting on an act to scare "Victor" into spilling truth about the attack on Mr. Newby, etc).

None of that ^^ would have been possible without the much-hated ST3 Russian arc. It's called foreshadowing and plot scaffolding, aka "secret tools that will help us later". They're laying breadcrumbs and hoping the viewer is dumb enough to go "UGH evil Russians? Of course 🙄" until ST5 comes around and blow it all out of the water. It's the same as the people who shit on 2.07 as a whole, saying it drags and feels out of place. That may be so, but there's a reason why it's there and a message it's there to deliver (setting up Jane fuckery and laying the bricks for "NINA isn't real/it's influenced by El's prior memories").

Also, has anyone stopped to think that maybe the vibe of ST3 is off because it's the starting point for all the relationships deteriorating? The Party growing up and drifting apart? It feels weird because everything is weird?

And people bitch about not getting fun/"beach" episodes anymore, but then ST gives you a summer fun + horror season and suddenly y'all don't want it?????? ST3 is fun! It's bright and colorful like summer! Idk. Sometimes I think people are just inventing guys to get mad at.

If the pics of JK 'smoking' wouldn't have been all over the internet, I wouldn't have posted this to start with.

But seeing they are, and seeing that someone might have maliciously tried to cause him damage, I think that is reason enough.

I will start by saying that JK is a fucking adult and is allowed to do what the fuck he wants to as long as it's legal of course. Drink, smoke, have sex with you know who.

It is ok to not like the idea of him smoking.

It is ok to say so.

It's ok to think it's not good for him nor his voice.

But at the end of the day, it's his body, his life, his decision as an adult.

Saying that, this whole thing just might be a big fat lie.

I guess the difference in coloration between the cigarettes was a clue. The lit ends as well, seeing we don't get to see JK taking a drag not even once all the time the camera is on him (enough for the cigarette to become clearly much shorter, as in smoked). Oh, and where's the smoke? We clearly get smoke off the other guy's cigarette, but none form JK's with the big ass lit tip?

Ah, and another weird thing was the way he was holding the cigarette while demonstrating the Seven moves.

Who in the fucking hell holds a cigarette between his middle finger and ring finger?

Also, the whole cigarette looks wrong, including the tip.

And if we are already on that, if the camera was there all that time, how didn't we get a pic of him taking a drag from that cigarette the whole damn time. I mean, if you're out to get him, that would be the kicker pic, no? We get one of the others taking a drag from his cigarette. Where's the pic of JK doing it?

The camera was there the whole time, right? So, we have pics with JK without any cigarette in hand standing alone. Then 3 pics of him with the cigarette. Different looking cigarettes. Who gave him the cigarette? Who lit it for him? How don't we get a pic of any of that?

The other guys are smoking (supposedly). Wouldn't we have had the whole lighting the cigarettes process going on you get with social smoking? The lighter/s, the taking a drag to light the cigi? Again, how was none of that caught on camera?

And I kind of find it interesting how see through the cigarette is too. You can literally see JK's finger through the cigarette. Must be a new kind of brand.

Now, I don't have any fancy photography apps handy right now, but that whole hand looks kind of weird to me.

Also, between the see through cigarette pic and the brown looking cigarette (both photos with JK talking to same man) cigarette looks to be around same size (?) and strangely his grip on the cigarette changes from holding it between his index and middle finger to middle and ring finger. Doing this with a lit cigarette one handed, idk...

Could the photos be real? Maybe?

Maybe they look off because of the quality of the photos? Possibly, I guess. Although bad quality would be true about all the pics. So, for instance, no smoke showing could be due to bad quality if the same couldn't be said about the other's cigarettes.

Could either of the batches of pics be edited? Of course they could.

The cigarettes could have been edited in or out.

It's just that there are so many discrepancies in the cigarette holding pics that I am leaning on thinking they aren't authentic.

End of day conclussions:

You just cannot believe everything you see now days in the media. Not in photos and not in videos either.

Check, double check, triple check and always stay vigilant and suspicious unless it's from a confirmed and trustworthy source.

They gave all of the Ushiromiyas wacky eye colours despite them having only black eyes and only the magic related characters having blue being thematically significant tying magic and kinzo's conception of it to the his facistic beliefs. There is a reason his witch is blonde and blue eyed. Maria had dark blue eyes to show how she is on the boundry between witch and human and then in the fucking ps3 sprites they made her eyes fucking purple!! Both of them, it's like an echo chamber. Oh this is the toughest question of them all huh Gwen. Noah has seen like three Earth movies and don't ask him which ones they were because I reckon he's forgotten. Well, he watched Ghostbusters and he liked that one.

Probably Gwen... Whether they stay for the full movie is anyone's guess though, sometimes the hobby gets distracted.

Noah but I think it's a very close one, I'm saying Noah because I know what he's like when it comes to sleeping. Both of them-? Sort of? Noah's idea of ghosts is a bit different to what we think of when we say ghosts, it's not the lingering soul of a loved one and more the lingering memory caused from residual energy where he's from.

Both of them but if Gwen is off doing her thing without Noah then he'll go stock up on her favourites while she's gone, but when she's around it's a team-up operation, and you can bet they have the most fun when grocery shopping.. The shortage in light purple items of clothing has forced me to make friends with colours that match these shades... I've recently become friends with pink, matcha green... I only tolerate the lighter shades tho. No forest green, for example. I have one hot pick cardigan but its appeal is the embroidered cherries on it, so it can stay. But I wanna stick close to pastels for my girlier, colourful looks. I think I'm starting to warm up to blue... First of all, Danica Cetcovic-Rogeli is a Serbian fashion designer, who holds a BA and MA in fashion design and business and in Public Relations from King's College London. She got a full-time scholarship during that time and met Aleš seven years ago when Maribora started really small and worked for them since then while doing designs part-time for Christian Dior or Karl Lagerfeld. Aleš and her got together five years ago after her brother, Wimbledon winner Vladimir Cetcovic, and Vane played match-maker. They got married after three years together and are now married for two years, so total of five years together plus one and half year of pining after each other.

The journal is def my favourite aspect of his character bc it’s the perfect way to show the audience that how people perceive him isn’t how he actually is.

Don’t get me wrong, how people see him isn’t unjustified. He’s very much a violent, angry giant of a man (esp by 1899 standards), but the journal shows that he isn’t just Dutch’s rabid dog.

It also shows us that Arthur is a private person, which we can see in how he reacts to physical touch from different people. He is most private with the men in the gang (most likely due to the concept of masculinity that the group seems to convey) aside from John, Hosea and Charles (to varying degrees).

He’s more open about his feelings with the women, most of whom is Mary Beth, who iirc is the only person who he openly talks about his journal with (Mary Beth explains how she feels that she can come up with great writings in her head, when she writes it down it sounds foolish. Arthur then replies that he feels the same about his journal, where when he’s writing he feels like he’s writing smth great and when he reads it over he sounds like a downright fool.) He openly discusses his thoughts with the girls, whether his personal standing or political views (lack thereof really).

In most cases, the most honesty we get from Arthur is when he’s angry. I want to delve into another post about this, but Arthur’s sarcasm isn’t just him being hilarious, but very much reflective of his dissatisfaction with the group, ESPECIALLY with Dutch. As the game progresses, his sarcastic jokes toward Dutch become sharper, less funny and more accurate. When Sean dies, Arthur flips out on Micah and the other boys, expressing his unease on the job that he didn’t mention before, and he fully yells at Micah. When he meets with Mary both times, the only time he expresses his grief over the end of their relationship is through frustration and anger.

It makes the journal all the more jarring, because you get to read his thoughts as he expresses all his emotions. Not only that, it’s the only time we get Arthur’s true thoughts (explicitly or implicitly) without the threat of being disloyal looming over his words (which side note, man is a damn poet and so well spoken. Arthur is his own biggest hater). We learn how he genuinely loves the people of the gang, much more than anything he does for the gang. We learn hints of how his redemption was always a potential, and how he kind of always knew about Dutch (paraphrasing: “I love Dutch like a father, but I believe I may love Hosea more. He cares and looks out for people like a human being. Dutch is something else”). We learn he’s a yearner, with how he talks about Mary, and how his handwriting becomes lighter when she sends him that final letter, as though he were crying when he’s putting the entry. The extra long strokes when he seems to be writing in anger and frustration, the genuine wonder he has which he doesn’t share with anyone else.

The most insightful bit are his drawings, he is GENUINELY TALENTED (and I say this in a way where I fully believe that if Hosea, John, Abigail, Jack, Charles, Sadie and Arthur left together they would’ve been able to live and go straight just fine), he shows that he relaxes and enjoys his time outside of camp by admiring the world around him. It’s such a soft part of his character that we get to see and it’s my favourite part of the game personally.

Arthur Morgan I will always be obsessed with you

I love that so many gang members mentions that they wanna look into Arthur's journal, like just a little peaky, just a small one. And I 100% get it, I mean you got this big violent dude who protrays himself as stone cold (several characters comments on this), yet has a little journal, a little note book to write down stuff. If I was them I would want to know what he was writing as well, though I like it is just for us players because it feels like we are being let in on a little secret.

Also, do yall think any of the others knows about Arthur's drawings? The other characters mentions journalling but never art, he doesn't mention drawing specifically either only writing and he doesn't display it either. Is he just keeping it his own little secret or do they by other means know?
