Yeah I'd say it doesn't always have to be others physically falling though. It's also just the fear of failing others. Of not being there when he's needed, of not doing enough to save people. I do have an example of the physical sorts for you though.

The blue spirit is ba sing sei’s local hero/vigilante depending on who you ask, and Sokka is an investigative reporter hellbent on finding out the truth on the mysterious hero. After being ditched during a stakeout by his nerdy partner Zuko, Sokka gets caught in some trouble and ends up being saved by the hero he’s been desperately trying to expose. Maybe the Blue Spirit isn’t so bad after all.

I’m back, somewhat, idk, I haven’t posted in so long but I had to post something for zukka week, I hope you enjoy, if it wasn’t obvious this is inspired by superman. I might make more of this au but idk.

Civilian Gothamites realizing they can get vengeance through Sword!Robin

Gothamites figuring out if they happen to mention a rogue treating animals poorly within hearing range of sword!Robin that rogue will be in custody with at least four fractures and a concussion and Damian being completely aware that like 63% of these people are lying but it’s the only way he can get experience with the nonlethal takedowns he’s experimenting with bc everyone keeps complaining about how he treats his opponents and allies 

Like he’s guiding a civilian to safety and they mention that “this would be the worst thing to happen to me today if riddler didn’t stab my fucking cat” and this civilian does not own a cat but they did own a car that was just paid off but riddler fucking crushed it with a stupid ass hot air balloon that’s shaped like a fucking question mark and Damian is aware of this bc he was the one that verified the insurance claim (but he’s been looking for a reason to punch Nygma in the throat since his last Arkham escape when he called Damian a moron)

And he also knows that if he plays along with it and says ‘as if I’d let that gaudy and tactless imbecile get away with committing such atrocities’ when prompted that he’ll get away with barely a slap on the wrist like he gets three half hearted but long lectures he’s not going to listen to and an online sensitivity training seminar he goads Tim into completing (Damian and Tim 100% try to trick each other into doing work they don’t want to do and full heartedly believe the other has no idea what they’re doing)

Bruce’s tendency for finding small crashouts at risk of becoming future rogues in Gotham and deciding they need love & supervision but what actually happens bc he’s so fucking awkward is they get almost the same amount of supervision just with like an hour of intense helicopter parenting a week but honestly besides that they just have more money and resources to do fuck shit

(Fun fact: Olivia is not fully paralyzed from the waist down. In game it's stated that she does have some function on her legs, just not enough to support the weight of her body and keep enough balance in order to walk. Which makes me think she may be able to stand for very short periods of time with some support, that's what i tried to potray here, hope it came out well 👍)

hes afraid of scar accidentally offending watcher mum, but he's also afraid of his mum embarrassing him, they can both embarrass him if they talk and it cannot happen !!!

i think scar tries to be polite and says something like "I've heard so much about you !" (he has NOT !!) and grian and aether just cringe, grian knows hes lying, but also feels guilty over not telling scar anything, and aether figures the stories are Not Good given how they left off.

i think aether would like scar though, a little surprised, but shes surprised by a lot of things in his life now.

another thought tho.............. I think if Scar sat at a table with a bunch of Watchers and just talked and talked, they'd end up adoring him, hes quite the storyteller !!!!

STANUARY WEEK 3: FEAR

I decided to start with something nice and easy to get back into the swing of drawing, so Week 3’s piece is a simple little screenshot redraw ^^ I was originally going to do something more angsty for this prompt, but quite frankly I’ve had a hell of a time these past few weeks and I just needed to draw my lil’ boys being cute and goofy, so Grappling Hook Ford and Tiny Stan Scared Of Heights it is!!

Now that the edit are over you can have a silly terrible Terrible doodle as well. (I can’t bring Kaufmo amazing ness justice with my art but I try. Also I had no idea what to do for poses help)

Didn’t put Kaufmo in a black and white tuxedo because the color are apart of his charm(I was lazy)

We had to change wedding officiant to ( @saytrrose/) kenji rose because kinger couldn’t take Jax and gangle interrupting anymore. (They called dibs after all)

Yo if it’s okay, for the character bingo can you do Kogoro, the sleeping detective himself?

OH SURE I GUESS IT'S OKAY

Yeah no big surprises here. I don't even know if I can articulate why I like him so much. He's one of the main characters (although you'd be forgiven for thinking he wasn't) so he's in the show a lot, and there's a lot of little breadcrumbs to work off of even if he doesn't get Big Stuff too often. Like most of the time he's just a drunk dumbass dad who sucks in every way, and btw he's a godlike shot. He's a judo expert. He can place Time of Death super precisely somehow. He's willing to chase down an armed robber with zero regard for his personal safety.

He's such a stagnant character in canon that he's one of the most fun to Do Shit With. Like what if he knows about Conan's identity? What if he found out? What if he's not as stupid as he seems, at least not all the time? What if he found out about the black org? What if he's the black org boss???? (Ridiculous but an interesting thought experiment.) What if what if what if-- Because there's all these little pieces of his character that have made him compelling I'M PRETTY SURE BY ACCIDENT. Making him one of the show's best shooters right under Akai is a fking insane detail and it was made up for Movie 2 when Gosho wanted to make him bad at that too, like he likes to make Kogoro bad at everything.

I criticized Sera for being Good At Everything and Canon Kogoro is the opposite, he's made bad at everything as a joke, which makes the strengths he's allowed to have shine brightest. Because it makes you question how he got those skills, and how he still turned out like this. Can he ever get better? If not for himself, then for someone else?
