I'm about to wash my hair but I just got a sick world building thing for one of my oc stories

And I'm writing this down here in the notes cause I'm silly

#so the story is set in a world inhabited by magic #and i treat magic very much like? art in a way? in the sense that #anyone can do art if they want to. but it's not gonna be like #a super big masterpiece.#but if you've been doing art your whole life youre pretty good at it #you can experiment #and magic is versatile in that way #but if you dont have the patience or passion for it then maybe youll just end up using like. a few super magic spells #actually CW FROM AFTER THIS TAG #cw dehumanization #cw gore #cw abuse #cw electrocution #cw experimentation #the main character Benjamim (or C-86 rn) is the result of a series of experiments that attempt to push the limits of magic #in turn being born genetically modified to be a bird dude. he has a pair of wings talons & a feather tail but because the scientists were #literally so new to this stuff #as a side effect he also has clawed hands #two pairs of wings on his face #and a second tail attached to the first one #since the start he had no respect for the scientists or any authority #was uncooperative and extremely difficult #which resulted in the scientist's attempting to subdue him by injecting him with a shit ton of magic via runes #with failed resulting in them having to do something else. that something else was inventing a way to store magic #which was a big revelation overall to the world but its use here was injecting a collar/bracelets with electricity via runes. so that it #could then STORE that electricity. but you need a way to activate the runes so that it works properly so what they did #was attach these cords so that a current could be sent to the runes activating them. it was manual sure but their not advanced enough for #anything else. so everyone with these collars or bracelets looks like some wild animal that needs to be kept on a leash #and that's literally so fucked up. the dehumanization. the pain. the internalized rage of the subjects. could snap at any moment.#and once they do every scientist or higher up in that building will suffer the consequences of their actions. the subjects are not merciful.

I find it funny that Wild, who has basically a couple years ish of full life experience, comes up with the most insane theories for everything

He assumed that the only other explanation to Four being able to split in Four was. That he was quadruplets who'd been hiding this whole time???

Also apparently he believed that his wolf companion Twilight in botw was a diety (and felt very uhh shocked upon finding out that he was not)

Malon made things worse, telling him about her aliens theory

What's even FUNNIER is that every time Wild expresses any sort of confusion at magic stuff that he's never seen before, everyone else in the chain acts like it's crazy for him to be weirded out by it

Honestly maybe Wild's the only one with his head on straight, rather than everyone else who are just like 'it's magic bro' like no he's right this is weird

I appreciate this because it's very considerate of the fact that he woke up with no memories not too long ago, so he doesn't have much experience to explain the stuff that's 'normal' for the chain. Plus the explanations he comes up with are funny.

the leverage team would have had a games night… once. everyone cheated so much and in such increasingly extreme ways that all mentions of monopoly are banned in their headquarters (this makes talking about marks who monopolize the market very confusing)

#leverage #nate wouldn’t cheat but he’d be by far the most annoying still. like he’d conduct a whole Scheme to win and give a little monologue wheneve #he made a good move and everyone would want to kill him #parker woukd obvs be stealing money & cards and she’d move their pieces and swap their stuff #but also she’d try to use her turn to rob the bank #sophie would use neurolinguistic programming and dominate the board w properties #which somehow parker would literally never land on and that’s incredibly suspicious but none of them really know how she could possibly be #manipulating that fact? it’s logically impossible bc they’re watching her roll the die and move the piece and sophie knows which properties #she owns so it makes no sense. but parker is parker and she simply will not be caught (even by sophie’s properties)#hardison has studied monopoly theory (yes there are math theories on how to play monopoly) and /tries/ to abide by them but again. sophie i #manipulating him and parker is stealing from him (and sometimes oddly enough *for* him. new money ends up in his bank somehow) so it’s hard #so eventually he resorts to cheating like Everyone Fucking Else and does pretty well bc he rlly does know what sets he wants etc.#eliot is genuinely playing normally. no cheating no math stuff no schemes.#but he’s just sitting there fuming the entire time bc they’re all very obviously messing with the game and he Knew this was gonna happen bu #goddamn hardison & parker especially know how to get on his nerves (often purposely)#he calms down by making some snacks and. resorting to also cheating lol.#leverageposting

Kaka compilation

Because everyone is sleeping on him. Witness his greatness!! First two Kaka colored icons were colored by me, lineart by Ryoko Kui though!

Kaka & Kiki are kinda like Laios & Falin… Kaka being stoic and giving repressed energy like early Laios, Kiki being cryptic and always smiling and kinda soft-looking. Autism siblings 2, ostracized and othered as kids and have a deep bond due to sticking together through it all, though unlike with Laios their parents are very loving so Kaka developed family as a big value more than Laios (bc asides for Falin Laios doesn’t care much about it).

In the gnome festival comic you can see Kaka is more emotive than he seems! Full with a :3 face, and he’s the one crying at the end. He’s insecure about his legs and being tall… It really got to him. Conceal don’t feel. In the gnome festival comic you also see him sensing others’ gaze on him and that something is off unlike Kiki, again Laios-like in the way that judgement from others gets to him more than her.

#The twins are so autistic swag #A falin just as chilled out and smiling and a laios who never stopped repressing #They’re so neurodivergent and they’re allowed to just exist I love you Kui.
