Liyana hadn't had a lot of time to make friends since starting at the new hospital, but that was neither here nor there. She was a socially awkward sort of person who was more than content to keep the company of her siblings and their mother; even if, more often than not, Lina was at odds with Namar.

Meeting Luna had been something of a blessing. Liyana hadn't realized what she was missing until she had someone like Luna in her life. To say it was refreshing would have been an understatement. As the pair of them sat across from one another in the cafeteria of the hospital, Lina listened to what her friend had to say, halfway daydreaming about what it would be like if they were more than friends before shaking the thought out of her head like water out of the ears. That could be dangerous.

Wanting to offer Luna practical advice, Liyana sat up a little straighter, "Well... you've got a long way to go, right? We can't really expect life to be so black and white. Nothing is set in stone, especially not the future. As far as your story is concerned, this is where the next chapter begins -- the rest is still unwritten."
